"I especially want to commend the quality of the hotel's front desk staff. Ms. Starry Cui was exceptional, confirming guests' needs even before booking. The check-in process was seamless, and the room was prepared exactly as requested. During our stay, she also proactively checked in to ask for feedback, and she handled our check-out arrangements meticulously. This hotel is our go-to whenever we visit Nanjing Road. It's grand, with traditional Western decor, and everyone from the doorman to the cleaning staff is incredibly polite and courteous, making our stay very comfortable. It truly embodies my ideal 'Shanghai-style' hotel."

"Five stars, highly recommend the Conrad Shanghai! A special shout-out to Kylie; her service was warm and professional. Not only did she handle our check-in efficiently, but she also thoughtfully reminded us about the hotel's laundry service and gave us tips on local dining spots. The room had excellent natural light, was exquisitely decorated, and very clean, and the bathroom amenities were lovely to use. Our entire stay was comfortable and worry-free. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we're in Shanghai, and Kylie deserves a huge thank you!"

"Booked a collection executive room and was very happy with my room on the 29th floor with the most perfect view on Shanghai's skyline. Hotel is perfectly located on the Nanjing East road in the very center of Shanghai. Hotel itself and rooms are a bit worn out - need renovation in the nearest future but room was immaculately clean and provided with fresh bottled water every day. Breakfast was very good - both chinese and western. cuisine provided, lot of fruit, pastry and very good coffee. Special thanks to the executive lounge manager Annie who is the most friendly and helpful lady with perfect knowledge of english language. During the happy hours and afternoon tea time Ms. Annie explained clearly all the choices of food served and the beverages."

"I brought my grandson to Shanghai and we stayed at the Grand Hyatt Jin Mao for two nights. It was excellent value for money! The front desk staff gave us a room on the 77th floor and also included executive lounge access for meals. We could have used the 83rd-floor lounge from 6:30 AM to 8 PM daily, though we were out sightseeing most of the time and didn't get to eat there. The views from the 77th floor were absolutely stunning, especially at night, with the Oriental Pearl TV Tower and Shanghai Tower right before our eyes. Getting around was super convenient too, with Metro Line 14 right downstairs. With such a great location and amazing hotel service, I'll definitely be staying at the Grand Hyatt Jin Mao again if I get the chance."

"This is my second time staying here. The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. They try their best to accommodate us in all aspects. I bought a pair of shoes that would be delivered to the hotel on the next day, I informed the concierge and they thoroughly went through details of the expected parcel to prevent errors and miscommunication with the delivery. The next day when my parcel arrived, the concierge called and make sure the parcel delivering was the correct one for me. As for the house keeping, they noticed that we drank all 4 bottles of complimentary water everyday and from our 3rd day of staying onward they gave us 6 bottles without our request. Not to mention that I accidentally spilled milk over my bed in the rush, I informed the front desk before we headed out and they enthusiastically told me not to worry they would send the house keeper to change my bed sheet right away. In the morning of our last day, Oliver from the front desk called to confirm our check out and informed that hotel’s check out time was twelve noon. They also asked how many luggage we had and what time would we want the concierge to come collect them which I told them to come up around 11am, and at 11am sharp they rang on my door. Oliver from the front desk came along with the concierge, accompanied us down and helped us through the check out process and luggage deposit. Around 1:30 pm when we came back from lunch, our luggage was ready for us to pick up and headed out to the airport."

"Great location! The room was clean and comfortable, and the price was reasonable. The housekeeping staff were friendly and provided good service. Another nice thing is that they offer free washing machines and dryers for guests. The only downsides are that there’s no bidet spray and there was a faint smell of cigarette smoke in the building."

"I chose this Holiday Inn with airport shuttle service for my layover in Pudong. After landing at 9 PM, I contacted them for pickup. The driver was very responsible and called to confirm before we got in the car. The room was clean and comfortable. We had an early flight at 5 AM the next morning, and the hotel thoughtfully provided a simple breakfast. It's worth mentioning that my friend accidentally left their watch in the room because we were rushing out early. After contacting the front desk, the staff member quickly located it and helped us ship it out."

"The room is spacious and modern. The location is average. We were located at 20th floor which is one level below the lobby and fitness area. The fitness is open 24 hours, which makes our stay not comfortable. The fallen dumble noise makes me not sleep. Almost every night after midnight someone throws the dumble to the floor, making bang noise"

"This is an older five-star hotel with a great location, making it very convenient for getting around. The lobby had a strong Christmas atmosphere. While the room facilities aren't brand new, they are well-maintained, though there were a few too few charging outlets. A previous room had elevator noise, but it was promptly changed, and the new room was much better. The food quality at the Executive Lounge (Luxury Club) was good, but the breakfast on the second floor was just mediocre; I hope they can improve that. Overall, the positives outweigh the negatives, and it's still worth recommending."

FFajrina HMWe had a pleasant stay at Moyu Movie Hotel and truly enjoyed our experience. The staff were really helpful and attentive, especially when it came to helping us order Halal food using the ******* app. All we needed to do was transfer the payment via Alipay, and they kindly helped arrange the rest for us. Our food was even delivered by a delivery robot, which was a fun and convenient experience. On one occasion, we were unable to transfer payment via Alipay, and the staff were so kind and understanding to accept cash payment instead, which we truly appreciated. We also got free drinks from them. The hotel also provides free laundry washer and dryer, making it very convenient for longer stays. They accept packages on behalf of guests, and the parcel handling was very well organized, with items sorted by phone number, making collection easy and hassle-free. The location is another big plus. The hotel is within walking distance (around 5 minutes) to Middle Huaihai Road Metro Station (Line 13), which made it very convenient for wandering around and exploring Shanghai. Overall, it was a comfortable and hassle-free stay, and we would definitely consider staying here again.

HH49777The service is incredibly thoughtful; they'll even ask if you'd like the heating turned on in advance, so you can return to a warm room. They offer shuttle services to Shanghai Disneyland and Pudong Airport, which are punctual and reliable. The drivers are very responsible and will notify you of the schedule and pickup location beforehand. Ordering food delivery is also convenient. Couriers can freely access the premises and deliver directly to your room door, and there's a good variety of options available. The room itself is comfortable to stay in, and overall, the service is excellent.

GGuest UserThe service provided by the front desk was excellent. They are so helpful even helping us to reserve a table for dinner and make an appointment to see a doctor. They provided us with directions and guided us how to book a Didi etc. They also helped me collect parcels on behalf and sent any food delivery up to my room via the robot. It's so convenient. In addition, they also provide unlimited mineral water both at the lobby and room. I stayed at the second floor where the restaurant and laundry room is at, hence it's so convenient for us. Love the laundry facilities with free detergent. I hope there are more varieties for breakfast and supper as I got bored after a few days. Super are limited to porridge and freshly cooked noodles. The breakfast area can be crowded at certain times and takes time to find a table. You can asked for containers to pack the food back to room if you doesn't want to eat there. The room is big and clean. The location of the hotel is not near the metro station hence you can only take Didi or their shuttle bus. Although there is a shuttle bus to Nanjing road but still need to walk a distance to the shopping area. The mall opposite hotel is called 香港名都 mall, there is a supermarket, haidilao and a number of eateries.

Llulu333100% recommend!!! I always stay in this hotel whenever I come to Shanghai! It's in a great area of the city and right across the road from Changshu Lu subway station (which has two subway lines on). The hotel has many rooms and is spread out on the 18th, 19th, and 20th floors of the building. Which means that there are incredible views of the city! I recommend paying a little extra and getting the room with a window, just for the view! The rooms are very clean with amazing bedding and pillows. You also have a personal TV, aircon, toiletries pack, bottle of water and slippers etc. There are water filter machines on each floor and usually free tea on the lobby floor. The staff are there 24 hours at the front desk, so you can check in anytime. The bathrooms are always really clean, and the cleaning ladies are always in out, making sure everything is nice. Bonus: The famous SYSTEM night club is also in the same building (around 3rd floor). So you can party and then go up to your room on the 19th floor!

BBenDoverrrOverall a great stay at Novotel Shanghai Pudong Chuansha. The room was clean and spacious, and the robot delivery service was a nice touch. Service was generally very good. The hotel is also conveniently located near Shanghai Disneyland, which is a plus. Breakfast was quite basic with limited choices, and the lifts can be slow at times. Suitable for couples or staying with a spouse and children, but lacks privacy when sharing with parents or siblings. The toilet and shower area is very small with no space to hang clothes inside. The bed faces the mirror outside the bathroom, affecting privacy. Despite these minor issues, it was a comfortable stay and good value overall.

AAnonymous UserGreat location right in the city center! We were here to get our US visas, and it's less than a 10-minute walk to the consulate. The transportation is super convenient. Subway Line 13 is right across the street, and Line 2 is just a short walk away, which takes you directly to Hongqiao Airport and Railway Station. There's a whole street of eateries downstairs, so finding food is a breeze. The room is very spacious, and it comes with a full kitchen, appliances, and a washing machine. For such a prime location in Shanghai's city center, it offers incredible value for money. Highly recommended!

MM228356****As a frequent business traveler, I've stayed in many guesthouses and tend to be a bit of a germaphobe. This guesthouse really nails the cleanliness – the attention to detail is impressive. The decor strikes a perfect balance between style and practicality, you can tell it's run with a lot of care. Customer service is super responsive, and they even thoughtfully recommended a breakfast spot. Even though I only stayed one night, it was a fantastic experience. If I get the chance again, I'd love to bring my family for a longer stay and properly enjoy the area.
