This stay was a last-minute change, but it turned out to be surprisingly delightful. The surroundings were quiet, and there was plenty of space to move around both upstairs and downstairs. Plus, there were two adorable cats, which my child absolutely loved [chuckle]. I think the biggest highlight was the readily available shuttle service. I booked quite late at night without prior arrangement, but the next day, while on the train, I asked the owner if they could pick us up in two hours. They immediately arranged a spot to pick up our luggage and even drove us directly to Disneyland. It saved us so much hassle! I also noticed a river behind the property; I'll have to ask the owner if we can arrange some fishing next time [chuckle].

We stayed at this guesthouse with our kids for our trip to Disneyland. It's about a 10-minute drive from the park, and the owner provides a complimentary shuttle service, dropping us off in the morning and picking us up in the evening. We hadn't booked our tickets in advance, but the owner even helped us connect with a concierge service to get them. All the rooms are themed, which was a big hit, and it offers great value for money. Plus, the kids loved being able to feed the rabbits!

The hotel boasts an elegant courtyard with lush greenery and a serene environment, making a stroll through it very pleasant. There are also two adorable cats on the premises; playing with them in your free time is both therapeutic and fun. The location is also excellent, very convenient for sightseeing, business, and even ordering takeout without any issues. From the environment, room type, dining, to the service, there's nothing to fault. The overall experience was outstanding, and I will definitely choose to stay here again next time!

A special thank you to Ella, the manager, who went above and beyond by arranging a complimentary luxury car ride to Disney Resort for our next stay. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made our trip much smoother. Our daughter especially loved the traditional hostess who greeted us warmly at the entrance every morning. She was always so kind and welcoming, making us feel at home. The hotel also has a fun game center, which was a nice surprise for families. We were impressed by the delivery robots that brought our Taobao packages right to our room. As first-time Taobao users, the staff patiently helped us receive our packages, which made shopping in China much easier. Another lovely touch was the complimentary Chinese ice creams the hotel offered. Small gestures like these made our stay even more memorable. The combination of warm service, modern technology, family-friendly amenities, and genuine hospitality made this one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. We would gladly stay here again on our next visit to Shanghai and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

This time, I went on vacation to Chongming with a few friends and chose the Colorful Garden Terrace room at Dasu Holiday Villa (Chongming Dongtan Wetland Park)! It was truly amazing! I had to share it with everyone! - Ambience: The spacious and bright space immediately puts you in a good mood. The decor is simple yet warm, with every detail perfectly thought out. The furniture is strategically arranged, creating a comfortable, non-crowded feel. But the most captivating aspect is the Colorful Garden. It's large and beautifully decorated, with a charming pavilion where you can soak up the sun, breathe in the fresh air, enjoy tea, and barbecue with friends. It's a truly relaxing experience. The garden is filled with a vibrant variety of flowers, creating a vibrant atmosphere that feels like living here year-round. In this picturesque setting, I felt completely relaxed, both physically and mentally. And this place is pet-friendly! Really pet-friendly! Our four dogs had a blast running around in the grass, chasing each other as if all our worries were forgotten. - Facilities: The room was fully equipped with everything, from the comfortable beds to the complete appliances. The hotel's thoughtful care was evident. Of course, my biggest favorite was the complete set of tableware and cookware, ensuring families with children could enjoy healthy meals during their stay! The beds were soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom was spotless and the toiletries were high-quality. The room also featured smart technology, including a smart toilet, which was incredibly convenient and comfortable (haha). The large garden terrace has a dedicated barbecue, perfect for hosting a barbecue party with friends. The hotel also offers free parking and high-speed Wi-Fi, ensuring worry-free transportation and internet access. Another point worth mentioning: Although the hotel is a villa, I was particularly pleased that there was only one parking space in the front yard, but it was enough for two SUVs! This was a very satisfying aspect for us. - Service: From the warm welcome at check-in to the prompt response to all my requests throughout my stay, I felt right at home. The staff were friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to recommend nearby attractions and help with minor issues. Their professionalism and enthusiasm really enriched our vacation. - Nearby attractions: The villa is located near the Dongtan Wetland Park, a migratory bird sanctuary, where you can admire a variety of rare birds and experience the wonders of nature. A bicycle park and an ecological park are also nearby, perfect for those who enjoy outdoor activities. Basketball enthusiasts can also enjoy the Yao Ming training base. The Smart Island Park and the Lanhai Golf Course are also nearby, catering to diverse leisure and entertainment needs. This stay at Dasu Hotel was a near-perfect experience. 💯 The pups had a blast playing with their best friends all day! The environment, facilities, and service are all impeccable. I stayed in a detached house with a large lawn and a natural river outside, perfect for boating and diving, bringing back childhood memories. The entire area boasts fresh and pleasant air, and enjoying tea or a drink on the patio or terrace offers a unique charm. The room was clean and tidy, with complete and comfortable facilities. The mattress firmness was just right, providing much-needed relief for my old aching back. Many other thoughtful details stood out, such as the café, auditorium, unique landscaped green spaces, flower beds, and a large fruit and vegetable base. These diverse features make it suitable for various events like study tours, weddings, corporate team celebrations, family activities, and pet events. It's truly a rare and unparalleled choice within Shanghai, I highly recommend it!

However, the experience was truly awful – chaotic service, no parking, and the room wasn't ready even after an hour-long wait. Arriving past 8 PM, I still couldn't check in, so I reluctantly canceled the reservation. Fortunately, I found Fraser Place Serviced Apartments at the last minute. Although a bit pricier, it exceeded all my expectations in every way: ✅ Convenient Location: Less than three kilometers from Xinhua Hospital, making it easy to get there by taxi or car. ✅ Pet-Friendly: Allows small dogs, which is fantastic for families traveling with pets. ✅ Free Parking: The hotel has its own parking lot, and you just register your license plate for free parking during your stay – very convenient. ✅ Well-Equipped: Rooms come with a washing machine, microwave, range hood, etc., making it suitable for both short and long stays, feeling just like home. ✅ Excellent Service: Even checking in after 10 PM, the front desk was quick to respond and professional, a world apart from my previous experience at Home Inn. This experience truly made me realize that when choosing a hotel, you can't just look at proximity and how new it is; service and amenities are key. If you're also traveling with a pet for medical treatment or need a long-term stay, I highly recommend this place. Spending a little extra is worth the peace of mind and convenience. This guesthouse offers a wonderful stay experience. The room was clean, hygienic, and decorated in a fresh and romantic style. The host was very thoughtful; they even provided disposable bath bags, which I actually brought myself, so it was a pleasant surprise to find them – truly considerate! They also have a beautiful swimming pool that's perfect for photos, day or night. After a long day of sightseeing, it was so relaxing to just sit by the pool in the evening, unwind, and enjoy some tea. Getting around and ordering takeout was also very convenient. Five-star recommendation!

At first I was confused because this was an accommodation system I had never experienced before, but after going through it I found it quite fun. I used it to rest during transit, and it seems you'll be staying on a cot in the aisle. Naturally, there will be a lot of people passing by. The reception staff were friendly.
