CCiky2023Our romantic winter getaway began the moment we stepped into Dino Starry Resort, immediately feeling a warm welcome. Unlike a typical hotel's impersonal atmosphere, the staff here felt like old friends, making us feel right at home and completely relaxed.
Getting to Disneyland was a breeze with their Mercedes shuttle, which departed at our pre-arranged time. Breakfast was plentiful, and our room was spotless and tidy. The overall environment was lovely, and there were even small animals in the backyard that we could feed for free.
The biggest surprise, though, was experiencing authentic winter fun. We gathered around a traditional earthen pot stove, warming ourselves and chatting, or enjoyed a steaming hotpot cooked in a vintage hanging pot. On sunny days, we even had a lively outdoor BBQ with plenty of smoke and laughter. From the rustic charm of the earthen pot to the nostalgic feel of the hanging pot and the vibrant energy of the BBQ, this place had it all.
Dino Starry is more than just a place to stay; it's a wonderful space where you can unwind, leave your weariness behind, and relive cherished moments. Come and gather with your loved ones here, and collect a whole winter's worth of warmth amidst delicious food and laughter!

SStar(星星）It was a wonderful cozy stay not far from the Disneyland, with nice playground and unusual furniture.
The hotel provided us with a free shuttle bus to Shanghai Disney Resort (both back and forth). They are also providing services to get from and to to Pudong Airport but we had to depart from Hongqiao, so the staff helped us order cheaper taxi to Shanghai Hongqiao airport.
The people there were warm and smiling. We could buy special Disney head wears in the hotel and instant noodles there. There was mini storage of foods and products so we didn’t have to look for markets around (not sure if there were any for Disney Resort is a bit outside the city center).
We loved the stay with our whole family, the breakfast was homey and tasty too. The rooms had ACs that made it warm to stay in January, the coldest time in Shanghai.
If I go back there, totally returning to this hotel⭐️

GGuest UserThe kids loved the room and played in the little tent for a long time. However, this type of room always has soundproofing issues. Most people who come here are out early and back late, which affected our sleep a bit. The breakfast selection was quite limited, and the kitchen hygiene was just okay.

GGuest UserHad everything we needed, for the price paid. Very comfortable stay and I thought it was worth it. Close to where we needed to be. It was hard to find from the address but it was nice regardless and surrounding area was very chill and in a more local area. I don't have an image of the hotel itself but I have pictures of surrounding area and the street where room was.

GGuest UserVery convenient apartment. Kitchen had utensils like spoons, forks also plates and pans, working stove. Washing machine well kept in cupboard. Microwave was useful. River right in front, clean and fresh outside. Nearest Muslim halal qingzhen is lanzhou noodle shop turn left when exit hotel, around 5+ minutes walk across the bridge, next to Starbucks. Popular halal Guanguanji restaurant is around 20 mins walk, do be careful of traffic. Takes around 10+ minutes walk to nearest train station. The double bed would be nicer if a bit firmer. Vivien and Simon 's quick response and kindness really elevated the whole experience. Tq for the room upgrade. Recommended!

GGuest UserThis guesthouse in a Shanghai 'lilong' house (old lane house) was a delightful surprise!
First, the small alleyways really capture the authentic local vibe.
Second, the room was incredibly spacious, easily comfortable for three people.
Third, it was very quiet at night, and the bed was wide – I slept soundly until morning.
Fourth, the concierge group was always prompt and helpful in their replies.
The only downside is that it's an old house with narrow stairs, so a large suitcase might be a bit inconvenient.

The place is easy to find, even though we need to walk a quiet distance from the nearest station. Still reachable though. There’s also many stores, cafes, and restaurants nearby.
