《A Leisurely Day at Donghu: Relax, Swim, and Savor》 Donghu Hotel offers elegant twin rooms that are warm and tranquil. The wooden floors, bathed in soft light, complement the clean and refined bathroom. A day spent here feels utterly relaxed and unhurried. Breakfast is simple yet nourishing. Warm soy milk soothes the stomach, while corn, sweet potatoes, and steamed buns provide ample carbs. Stir-fried seasonal vegetables, alongside braised meats and nuts, offer a balanced and wholesome meal, preparing you for the day ahead. In the afternoon, I headed to the hotel's pool for a refreshing swim. The crystal-clear water shimmered with ripples. Underwater, the water enveloped my body, stretching my shoulders and back, relieving the fatigue from prolonged sitting. Switching to breaststroke, the kicking and pulling stretched my core and limbs, my heart and lungs rising and falling rhythmically. Sweat dissipated with the water, washing away all my accumulated weariness. After my swim, I moved to ”Xiji Gangjiu” to try some Cantonese dim sum. Each dish was a delight. Garlic oysters are nourishing and rich in protein, while spring onion chicken replenishes vital energy. Fresh shrimp and coriander dumplings are light and appetizing. Beef balls with choi sum provide excellent protein and dietary fiber, and the two-tone water chestnut cake is delightfully sweet and refreshing. The combination of seafood, poultry, vegetables, and grains was well-balanced—fresh, not greasy, and wonderfully wholesome. A dip in the 'azure waters' stretched my muscles and bones, a 'Cantonese feast' nourished my body, and the elegant room provided a sanctuary for my mind. With a perfect blend of activity and rest, and nourishing food, a day of leisure at Donghu Hotel brought a deep sense of peace, relaxation, and freedom.

Staying at this hotel was a delightful experience. The environment was serene and comfortable, and the room was spotlessly clean and tidy. The service was attentive and thoughtful, and the facilities were comprehensive. It was also very convenient for getting around. I was able to relax and unwind, shedding all my fatigue. I highly recommend it.

This place is an affordable place for any groups of 4. The location is near Anfu and Wukang road if interested in shopping. The included free laundry and dryer was very much welcome and the gym was also great to use. We also loved ordering food in and using the robot delivery service to deliver our food. A few things for improvement however: - there was mould found in the showers and tiles in both bathrooms - a lot of wear and tear that was not expected to be found in a 4 star hotel - the entrance to the nearest station is around a 5 minute walk however actually walking to the platform is another 10 minutes which added a lot more expected time to our trips. Not the fault of the accomodation but something to consider. - out of our 5 day stay, room service wasn’t completed on one of the days and we had to ask for new towels to be provided - all 4 guests were given passes for the doors but only 2 worked and when we fixed the other 2, the first two would deactivate

My stay exceeded expectations! The hotel design is elegant, and the room was spacious, bright, and spotless. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, proactively offering local tips. The location is convenient, within walking distance to the metro station and commercial areas. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices. It was a perfect stay, and I would definitely choose this hotel again!

The rooms are cozy and clean. The hotel staff, especially the ladies, are patient and gentle. The hotel offers a wide range of services to meet all our tourist needs. The hygiene is particularly satisfying, and the breakfast has a rich variety of delicious options. The hotel is conveniently located in a quiet spot amidst the bustling city, very close to the Xujiahui business district, making dining, entertainment, and shopping very convenient. Especially Xuhui Park across the street is a great place for a walk and relaxation.

I returned to this hotel after a year. Last year, I stayed here to attend a concert at Shanghai Stadium, and I was satisfied with everything. This year was no different. It's close to Exit 1 of Xujiahui Metro Station, making it very convenient for getting around. The hotel service is excellent, and both the common areas and rooms are clean, comfortable, and feature new facilities. They offer a thoughtful late-night snack service on the second floor, and the noodles are quite good. I hope to have the chance to stay here again next year.

Facilities: Very complete, and the air conditioning was very cold, which was super comfortable. Cleanliness: Clean and well-maintained. Environment: A classic old Shanghai style, which I really liked. Service: The front desk service was fantastic! Since I was traveling with a child, they even gave my child a complimentary breakfast. When checking out, they also gave us two ice cream coupons. We had a wonderful time with the family this trip!

Facilities: The new store's blue-gray color scheme is very pleasing to the eye. The bedding is comfortable, and the pillows are extra large with a high-low concave design, which I really liked. Cleanliness: Very clean, completely satisfied. Environment: Everything is fresh flowers, the orchids are 고급 (high-class) and beautiful. Service: All staff are very enthusiastic, greeting guests. Xiao Ding was a great help to me, thank you. The front desk was also very good. Breakfast: Not many varieties, but all are exquisite. The cereal bowl with freshly fried nuts was a great touch, highly recommended! 👍🏻 The coffee to-go was also excellent, and delicious.

We've stayed here for three consecutive weeks, which just goes to show how much we love this hotel. The Weiting Hotel boasts an excellent location with convenient transportation and well-developed surrounding amenities. The front desk staff were professional and thoughtful, especially in arranging a late check-out for my two elderly companions, which was incredibly considerate. Guests also get complimentary self-service afternoon tea, and the waitstaff there were incredibly polite and understanding! Thumbs up to all of you! 👍 The Chaoshan restaurant across the street serves delicious and unforgettable dishes!

The room was clean and tidy, and the surrounding area offered convenient transportation with a mall right next door. The service was attentive and patient. Overall, it's highly recommended, even for family trips. The Shanghai Film Museum is also not far and worth a visit!
