Switching to breaststroke, the kicking and pulling stretched my core and limbs, my heart and lungs rising and falling rhythmically. Sweat dissipated with the water, washing away all my accumulated weariness. After my swim, I moved to ”Xiji Gangjiu” to try some Cantonese dim sum. Each dish was a delight. Garlic oysters are nourishing and rich in protein, while spring onion chicken replenishes vital energy. Fresh shrimp and coriander dumplings are light and appetizing. Beef balls with choi sum provide excellent protein and dietary fiber, and the two-tone water chestnut cake is delightfully sweet and refreshing. The combination of seafood, poultry, vegetables, and grains was well-balanced—fresh, not greasy, and wonderfully wholesome. A dip in the 'azure waters' stretched my muscles and bones, a 'Cantonese feast' nourished my body, and the elegant room provided a sanctuary for my mind. The young staff member was very warm and attentive, offering me slippers and a cup of coffee. I had a three-day, two-night reservation and checked out on the afternoon of the 17th. On my first day, I encountered a minor issue that initially worried me. However, after I reported it to the hotel, the staff handled it promptly and sincerely, resolving the problem right away. After that experience, I felt completely at ease for the rest of my stay. The service was thoughtful, the room was clean, and the comfort level was very high. The Xujiahui location is incredibly convenient for getting around (there are several good restaurants about 50 meters away). It's suitable for both leisure and business trips. A hotel isn't just about good facilities; the way they handle issues through timely communication truly reflects the quality of their service. Overall, I was very satisfied with this stay. It's also very close to the Xujiahui commercial area, making getting around incredibly convenient. The rooms are typical of a chain hotel, but overall they are clean and tidy. The breakfast offers a rich variety, blending Chinese and Western options, enough to have something different for five days straight. The biggest highlight is the self-service afternoon tea available from 2 PM to 7 PM, with a great selection of cakes, cookies, milk, porridge, and more.
