BBeiergaomulilinfuAs a business traveler with a packed schedule, I'm taking advantage of a rare free moment today to praise this hotel apartment. This was our first stay at Citadines Gubei. The lobby is spacious and bright, and front desk staff member Wei Kaijie greeted us with a friendly smile, showing us the guest rooms and providing a detailed overview of the apartment's facilities. Manager Fu Renjie is highly competent. We stayed in room 1752 on the 17th floor, and the housekeeping staff there are very meticulous, especially Liu Gaiqin, who has an excellent service attitude. She diligently cleans our room and bathroom daily and promptly replenishes our amenities. The hotel breakfast is very generous, and for takeout orders, a robot delivers them directly to the room door. What truly sets this hotel apart, and what I haven't experienced in other hotels, is that the front desk staff go above and beyond their own duties to deliver guests' packages directly to their room doors. This made us feel incredibly welcome and at home. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip.

The original room I booked quite old and the toilet in the bathroom did not flush properly. So , the staff then upgraded the room for me which was newer, cleaner, more spacious, and in better condition. The room also have a refrigerator and a washing machine, but no iron. However, in both the original room and upgraded room, the water pressure in the bathroom was quite weak, and the hot water took several minutes to warm up. This could be an issue for guests staying during the winter.
Location:
The property is located in a commercial building directly connected to a shopping mall, making it very convenient with plenty of dining options both inside the shopping mall and from surrounding street vendors and supermarkets. The metro station is just a few steps away from the apartment.
In front of the apartment has a variety of children’s play equipment, which kids really enjoy. And Zhoupu night market is about 15-minute walk away , where you can find plenty of local street food, clothing stalls, and restaurants.
However, the apartment building is mostly occupied by local Chinese residents, and there are small businesses such as nail salons and massage shops on the same floor as the daily-rental rooms. As a result, the walk to the room feels a bit less private. As well as food delivery riders can also take the elevator directly to the guest floors since many residents frequently order food delivery. The hallways and elevators are quite old.
Overall:
The room offers good value for money with an excellent location and easy access to food and transportation.

GGuest UserWas there for 3 nights with my friends. We can’t find a review of this place online especially from Thai tourist but fine, we want to take a risk. It was an absolutely amazing place to stay! Room is new and they offer daily cleaning plus 2 bottles of water every day (mini bar on the first day is free) and one thing that I love is they provide a common area like dining area on floor! Plus, on the ground there are coffee shop, salon, gym, family mart and McDonald. But the thing is it took me only 1 minute to subway Laoximen station (exit 1) which very convenient to travel to the bund, Shanghai disneyland, it’s super convenient traveling by taxi and it take less than 10 mins walk to Xintiandi, my favourite area! We would love to stay here again next time.

GGuest UserThe hotel is superbly located near Jing'an Temple, with rooms offering views of its golden spire. It's also very close to Jing'an Temple subway station. Downstairs, there's a breakfast restaurant and a supermarket, and 1788 Square is right next door, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The rooms are very spacious, equipped with a kitchen and a washing machine, making them perfect for family trips.

PPoppy RWe had a pleasant stay. They allowed us to check in early which was a blessing for us after the long road trip. The front desk staff served us quick and friendly and spoke english as well. The room was clean and spacious, modern design. It was a loft room of two 2 queen beds, 2 TV’s, 1 bathroom, a 2 door refrigerator, small washing machine, and complete iron with table and hairdryer, it has a balcony, a small kitchen with a electric stove, complete modern utensils, plate, glass, spoons, water jug, microwave, frypan, steamed pan and even a dish foam was provided. It was located a little bit far from the city center of shanghai, but you can conveniently commute with the metro line 7, the station can be found under the mall, the right building across the hotel, the same building where we can park our car for free as our duration of our stay. On the mall basement, plenty of restaurants can be found and not packed at all, also you find a 24hrs seven eleven store in front of the hotel. The downside was the bathroom door was a bit hard to closed, everything else was perfect. We would like to stay again when visiting shanghai.

Upon arrival, I encountered a hiccup that nearly drove me to seek accommodations elsewhere, but the issue was swiftly and adeptly handled by a courteous gentleman at the front desk, likely the manager. His prompt resolution and eagerness to address my concerns not only resolved the immediate issue but also instilled a deep sense of trust and satisfaction with my stay.
The hotel itself is located in a quiet area, a rarity in this country's largest and busiest city. Despite its peaceful setting, it is conveniently close to Metro Line 11, ensuring easy access to the city’s vibrant heart. The option to open the windows in my room was a breath of fresh air—literally. It allowed me to enjoy the fresh breeze without leaving the comfort of my well-appointed room.
Speaking of the room, it was a perfect blend of luxury and practicality. The cleanliness was up to the high standard, and it felt like the facility was brand new. The room was equipped with a small kitchen area, complete with a stove, rice cooker, refrigerator, and even a washer. Although there was no dryer in the room, a quick trip to the second floor opened up options not only to dry clothes but also to access private dining/meeting rooms and a well-equipped gym.
Every night was a peaceful retreat. The bed was incredibly comfortable, rivaling the peace of my own home. The tranquil environment contributed to undisturbed nights, ensuring restful sleep and rejuvenated mornings.
The housekeeping staff, particularly two young men, were notably diligent and affable, keeping my room clean and well-supplied. The front desk staff were equally helpful, always ready to assist with any request. Assistance was dispatched via a charming, albeit slower, robot—no tipping required.
This hotel apartment not only met but exceeded my expectations, making it a top recommendation for anyone seeking a 'home away from home.' For those considering a longer stay, here's a tip: contact the hotel directly to speak with a salesperson. You might secure an excellent long-term rate, potentially including breakfast.
