The Tango Hotel Taipei Shilin
"This hotel is incredibly close to Jiantan MRT Station; it's right across the street. The soundproofing is excellent, and it's also near Shilin Night Market, which is great for late-night snacks after returning to the hotel. The only minor downside was that my request for disposable toothbrushes to be sent to the room was declined."
The Okura Prestige Taipei
"This was an impromptu stay, having had an earlier reservation at another hotel but decided to cancel our booking there for Okura. The other hotel had issues with very strong cigarette smell from the earlier guest but were fully booked and unable to change our room. Long story short, more than glad to find Okura just around the corner though at a much higher price point. We checked in at 10.30pm (yeap, at night, after a flight to Taiwan just hours earlier) and slept like a baby for the night. Thank you, Okura, for the hospitality! They even provided yummy pineapple tarts and tea in the room. Now that, is the right way to kickstart our trip! :)"
Humble House Taipei, Curio Collection by Hilton
"Right next to Shin Kong Mitsukoshi, which is super convenient! The service attitude was just so-so. When checking in, they didn't proactively mention that Taiwan's hotel industry is promoting environmental protection and doesn't provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, or shower caps. Luckily, I'd stayed at another hotel a few days prior where the front desk proactively explained this. No comparison, no harm done."
Tango Motel
"Nice & good location"
Boutech Jiantan Hotel
Hotel offering a relaxing stay with spa facilities, wellness amenities, comfortable rooms, and leisure spaces.
Hotel Royal Nikko Taipei
"It was great experience! I wanted to use sauna. However I couldn’t. Hopefully if it is possible to use it in the morning it would be great. Anyway I will book it when I go to Taiwan next time! Thank you!"
Hotel Riverview Taipei
"The room size was just right. We visited during the summer rainy season, so it was a bit humid, but thankfully there was a dehumidifier in the room, which was a nice touch. The staff were very warm and welcoming; they always greeted us with a smile. Especially the cleaning staff on the seventh floor – when we were leaving and it started raining and we didn't have an umbrella, she proactively offered us one."
Royal Seasons Hotel Taipei Nanjing W
"The hotel is old . Carpet is very good too . Some smell and I ask them to clean the room again . Other than that . Bathroom is the best as it is upgraded ."
SC HOTEL
"Please take note. The quadruple room does not guarantee to come with bathtub. Remember to request before check in. We arrived at 3.45pm but the room was not ready for check-in yet. We had to wait until 4pm++. The room was very small and there was barely any space for luggage to be open completely. The room cleaning is only available if you stay for more than two nights. On our second day, the housekeeper missed out our room. But, she managed to come to pass our new towels and take away our rubbish when we called the concierge. Despite all these hiccups, the room is still decent and good for family. It's distance from bus station is like a 5 to 8 min walk. Hotel provides meal vouchers with two options: Mos Burger (till 10am) or 四海豆漿 Si Hai Soy Milk (till 12pm). We tried both and strongly recommend the latter. Each meal voucher can offset NTD70 from your total bill. The xiao long bao there is way better than Din Tai Fung and the price is 100ntd only for 10pcs. There is laundry machine available but needs to inquire at the front desk. So I opted for a self-service laundry nearby and it's pretty cheap. The drying machine works pretty well as also. The check-out is fast. Just need to hand over the 2 keys to the front desk."
Hù House Taipei
"Overall, it's pretty good, probably because Taipei tends to be expensive. The price here isn't overly high, the room is quite spacious, and the location is very close to the commercial district."
