"Hotel was recommended by an acquaintance. Location was very good with easy access to MRT Beimen station and Taipei main station on walking distance. Check-in went very smoothly but the hallway was too dark so it was difficult to find/read my room number! Except that the room was good with sufficient space and nice bed/bath and most importantly, no noise could be heard from other rooms. Breakfast was nothing spectacular but no complaints either."

"Location was great, less than 10 min and you are at Ximen station. 7-11 & family mart are just a stone throws away. Room size was just nice for 3 of us, though we had to close it everyday to ensure we have enough space to walk. Lounge on 2nd floor was fantastic - packed with snacks, drinks and instant noodles. We totally rested there almost every morning and night. Highly recommend!"

"Love this hotel. Near to NTU Hospital Station (Red Line) and National Taiwan Museum. It has heated toilet seat, bidet and provide shower gel and shampoo.
We love the snacks bar, it provides free flow mineral water, pudding jelly and coffee & tea.
It is next to family mart which we always bought sweet potato as breakfast. We are muslim couple and finding halal food for breakfast quite difficult as most halal shop open later during the day.
15 mins walking distance from ximending to hotel. Which not bad and the walk is just straightforward. As if taking MRT need to change multiple times since Ximen is blue line."

"We reached there around 9am and the front desk let us park our luggage while waiting for check in time. Everything went smoothly. The hotel in between ximen mrt station n Ntu mrt station ( more nearer to ntu station) the place is well maintained n clean. And they hotel do provide breakfast ( need to add on about SGD 8.60 ) doesn’t have much choice but still good to those who lazy want to explore out just to get an breakfast. The hotel also provide self service laundry service (wash & dry ) about (150TWD) if im not wrong. The place is walkable and the hotel is quite spacious. It just dont have bidet and those who stay longer the room service is every 3 days. Thank you for the amazing experience."

I would like to offer my compliments to your dedicated team for our very enjoyable stay in your hotel from 3-7 June 2024.
We stayed in rooms 1203 and 1205 and the reservation was made under Ms Erica Tan.
I had stayed in some 5 star hotels such as Shang Ri La Singapore, Westin Singapore, Ritz Carlton Singapore, Kempinski Xiamen to name a few but my stay in Doubletree by Hilton Taipei was one of the most comfortable and pleasant.
The check in by the warm and friendly reception staff was efficient and smooth.
When my daughter accidentally dropped one of the delicious welcome Hilton cookies on the floor, the reception staff quickly replaced it with a warm smile.
When my daughter teared after knowing that there isn’t a swimming pool in the premise, your reception staff, Tina, immediately walked up to us with a map and suggested that we can go to a nearby swimming pool facilities.
Tina also gave us some excellent food suggestions. We had a very satisfying and affordable meal at the Michelin recommended Ji Jia Zhuan ( 鸡家庄）, thanks to her recommendation :)
Whenever we return to the hotel from a day of sightseeing, the reception team on duty never failed to greet us in a warm and friendly manner. We felt genuinely welcomed:)
The modern Japandi style rooms and bathrooms are kept in an excellent condition and feel brand new. We especially like how bright, airy and spacious the rooms are.
Kudos to the housekeepers ( Ms Cai Xiu Hui 蔡秀慧阿姨) on level 12 who kept our rooms 1203 and 1205 so clean and comfortable. They always chat amicably with us and confirmed with us if we need any housekeeping service.
The TV entertainment system with its 47 channels ( including TLC, Discovery) , Netflix, YouTube and IQiYi really impressed us.
The semi buffet style daily breakfast sets
( Chinese, Japanese and Western) are healthy and delish and we really looked forward to breakfast every morning.
We hope that Chinese baos （包子）and dim sum pastry such as you tiao ( 油条、蛋饼）can also be offered in future when we next pay a visit to your hotel :)
We would also like to thank your reception staff and housekeepers who helped my mom who stayed in room 1205 on 6 June when the toilet encountered some flushing issues.
My mom had approached the reception staff at around 4 pm on 6 June and the very helpful male reception staff accompanied her to her room and helped remediate the problem along with the housekeeper. She was very impressed by how efficient and friendly your staff were.
All in all, your team has done a great job in our stay. Their service attitude are genuine and warm :) My daughter enjoyed her stay so
much that she kept remarking she would like to extend our stay to 2 more weeks:)

LLeeElainejustsleep has been my preferred hotel of choice whenever i travel to taipei. centrally located within the ximending area, it is within walking distance to the ximen main shopping area and underground shopping mall at the metro.
there is also a 7-11 located right downstairs and massage facilities if you need to wind down after a day of shopping.

FFollow the sunThe hotel looks unprofessional outside, but when you get into the room, it is perfect for a stay. All the essential things are provided. The beds for three persons are great and comfy. The part I adore mostly is the Japanese toilet. It's so convenient. The location is more than superb. The property is settled in the eating area. Everything is in reach, especially Taipei main station. You can enter Z2 metro after walking less than 200 meters. Only minor downside like water dispenser is out of order, limited lobby area

MManI stayed for 3 nights. I had a late check in and was assigned a room at the turning corner of entering into the corridor. I could hear footsteps when people walked by, at night and late night. I couldn’t sleep well through 2/3 nights. It would be nice if the room could have few more extra hangers. P.s, room like this could only fit one luggage to open. The location is very convenient to the airport train station.

GGuest UserPros: Great location in central Taipei. The bedding was clean. Price was good. There is a common room with kitchen in the basement. The lockers were good to put your bags away in securely. Check out time of 11.30am was more generous than most places. The water in the showers was a good temperature.
Cons: The guy I got on the check in was curt to the point of rudeness. The toilet seat in the male dorm kept falling down, so you could stand peeing trying to hold it up or pee through the hole. Not ideal. Lots of mosquitoes in the basement. There are endless little signs telling you not to do certain things and that “violators” will be fined - this didn’t seem like the fun implied by the name “Fun Inn”. The toilets smelt like pee - quite possibly due to the aforementioned toilet seat issue.

SsenibolsMe and my friends recently stayed at this hotel and really impressed by the excellent service and location. The staff were friendly and even allowed us to leave our baggages before check-in and after check-out time. The hotel is conveniently located, making it easy to explore nearby attractions and dining options especially in ximending area.
However, the amenities were somewhat limited and understandable due to their enviromental rules. The cleanliness was mostly good, but I did notice a few minor issues, like some left bottle under the bed. Rooms weren't very soundproof and could hear noises from neighboring room which made it harder to relax at times. Overall, it's a solid choice if you're looking for great service and a prime location, will def come back
