"Thankful to have met the wonderful team here at Jianguo Hotel! They have made my stay here such a memorable one. A big thanks to Ashes for helping me with late check-out, the team at the restaurant for helping me get a plate of watermelon fruits when it ran out, and not forgetting the housekeeping aunty who gave me extra bottles of water + tissues! The hotel is newly renovated and the facilities are brand new. Best perk will have to be the laundry room which allows for washing, drying and ironing (steam iron!) of one's clothing. I will be back!"

"From the moment I walked in until check-out, my entire stay was delightful. The front desk staff were incredibly kind, and both check-in and check-out were handled very efficiently. Any requests I had were met promptly. The room's cleanliness was exceptional; not a speck of dust could be found, even in the corners. The separate wet and dry areas of the bathroom were spotless and refreshing, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The room was well-equipped with all necessary amenities, including a TV with screen casting, which was a nice touch. Safety features like smoke detectors and temperature controls were well-maintained, and the in-room provisions were of high quality. All staff members were polite and discreet, providing attentive service without being overbearing, truly making me feel at home. This hotel is perfectly suited for both business trips and short stays."

"Had a wonderful stay at Atour Hotel on Nanjing Pedestrian Street! The location is excellent — just a short walk from Exit 4 of Metro Line 2, making it easy to get around Shanghai and travel to and from the airport. There are plenty of good food options, shopping malls, and attractions nearby. As the hotel is newly opened, everything felt fresh, modern, and very clean. I was impressed that the towels were individually wrapped, USB-C charging cables were provided, and even complimentary ear plugs were available for guests. These small touches made a big difference. One of my favourite features was the robot delivery service. I ordered food through ******* several times, and the robot delivered it directly to my room. The hotel also provides complimentary late-night supper from 9:30pm onwards, which was especially comforting after a long day of exploring the city. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They even recommended a nearby foot massage place that turned out to be excellent — exactly what we needed after walking 15,000–20,000 steps a day around Shanghai! A funny thing I’ll remember is that the hotel shares its lift lobby with a silverware shop that uses scented mist. Every time I walked in or out, I felt like I was making a grand entrance through clouds of “fairy smoke” like a character from a Chinese fantasy drama 😂. To top it all off, the staff surprised us with a small souvenir upon check-out. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a lovely way to end our trip. Overall, excellent location, impeccable cleanliness, thoughtful amenities, and warm hospitality. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Shanghai."

"Went there with kids, the hotel was clean and the staffs very friendly. Location is good, right in front of the metro station. The staff especially Yusuf is very friendly, he tells us what halal food to eat. The view is magnificent! Will go back again next time."

The room's soundproofing was excellent; we weren't disturbed by any outside noise. The facilities are comprehensive: there's a self-service laundry room with dryers, a fitness center available at all times, and the breakfast offers a great mix of Western and Chinese options with fresh ingredients. Their late-night congee service was a warm and comforting touch. The staff were always ready to help, and their attention to detail in service was impeccable. It's perfect for both leisure travel and business trips. When staying in Shanghai, definitely choose this Atour!"

"The location is good, not far from the pedestrian street. I didn't take the subway, but the map in the lobby shows it's quite close. It's also easy to find on the main road. The overall decor is very new, and the room size is decent. The bedding and pillows are pretty good. They offer breakfast and late-night snacks, though the variety isn't huge and the taste is just average. The only downside is that the elevator is a bit small and can only fit a few people. All the staff I encountered at the hotel were very enthusiastic."

"Had a really lively and great stay! It's a new hotel, so everything is brand new, and the staff are super friendly. They even let me check out late at 4 PM because I slept so well! The bedding is just like Atour's – incredibly comfortable! I really loved it! Environment: Super clean and bright. Shower: Very comfortable! The water pressure was strong and felt really soft!"

"Amazing river view! The bed and pillows were super comfortable. My friend, who has neck issues, slept so well they immediately ordered the same pillows. It's surprisingly quiet inside – even during a massive downpour one day, I couldn't hear a thing, and despite being high up, there was no wind noise. I really enjoyed the breakfast; they had a few different dishes each day and refilled everything promptly. If you're a Shanghai local looking for a relaxing getaway and a slower pace of life, this place is definitely a great choice!"

"First time staying in Atour Hotel and it's super value for money stay especially in Shanghai city near to Jing'An temple. Walking distance to Jing'An temple metro station and many eateries around the estate. Hotel room is clean and spacious! Was given a free room upgrade upon check in. Laundry area was clean and cooling as well. As my flight is in the evening, concierge allowed to extend check out time to 2pm instead of usual 12pm. Will definitely recommend to friends to stay in Atour. Atour have many branches in different cities as well.."
