Hotels in Lujiazui Area, Shanghai

The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. My three friends and I chose this Airbnb, and the layout with three beds was just perfect – no feeling cramped at all, which was really comfortable. The entire place was newly renovated and exquisitely decorated, with a simple yet appealing style. It was impeccably clean, and the attention to detail regarding hygiene was excellent. The location is a huge plus, very close to Lujiazui, making it super convenient for sightseeing and getting around. The host was thoughtful and easy to communicate with, and the amenities were complete, making for a very comfortable stay. It offers great value for money. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Shanghai, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time!

The breakfast was good, and I appreciated having a gym and laundry room available. The soundproofing was decent too. My only minor complaint is that in the twin room, the bed near the window was directly in the path of the AC, which was a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise, everything else was great. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby, and it's super convenient to get to the Science and Technology Museum, East Library, East Museum, Century Park, and Dingxiang International.

This trip to Shanghai Lujiazui, I chose to stay at the Citadines Lujiazui Shanghai, and the overall experience far exceeded my expectations. I must give a huge shout-out to the front desk staff. Upon arriving at the hotel, I was quite tired from traveling with my luggage. The front desk staff greeted me with a constant smile, and their demeanor was both gentle and professional. The check-in and check-out processes were efficient and quick, with no unnecessary waiting. They also thoughtfully informed me of the breakfast hours, laundry room location, and nearby transportation routes. Since my itinerary meant I arrived early and couldn't check in immediately, the front desk kindly stored my luggage for free and even offered complimentary bottled water. These thoughtful details were very heartwarming. The hotel's location is superb; it's within walking distance to the滨江步道 (riverside promenade), and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer a fantastic view overlooking the Lujiazui skyline and the Huangpu River night view. The room was spotlessly clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the wet/dry separated bathroom was a pleasure to use. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a completely undisturbed rest for business travelers. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, with a self-service laundry room and a gym, both catering well to business travel needs. The breakfast selection was rich, offering a good mix of both Chinese and Western options. The front desk staff were always ready to answer questions and responded to requests promptly and considerately. Their service was warm and not rigid. This hotel is suitable for both business trips and leisure travel. The value for money in the Lujiazui area is exceptional. I will definitely prioritize staying here again on my next visit to Shanghai, and I highly recommend it to friends visiting 'The Magic City'.

I was really happy with the room layout; it had a separate living area with a sofa and desk, and then a bedroom, which made it feel very spacious. The view from the room was fantastic – I could enjoy the scenery whether I was on the sofa or in bed. Dining options nearby were plentiful and varied. The hotel is also less than a kilometer from the subway station. As someone who enjoys running, the best part was its proximity to the Lujiazui Water Ring (the greenway along the Yangjing Port River), which is a beautiful spot and perfect for a run. My only minor complaints are that the bathroom door didn't close properly, and there was nowhere to hang clothes to dry.

First time staying at Atour, and the room was beautiful and comfortable. The service was also excellent, especially Haiye, who was very attentive and helpful. I particularly loved that the laundry service could deliver items back to the room. Highly recommend!

We booked the Kempinski for Children's Day, hoping to create a wonderful memory for our child. As a popular spot for its 'influencer-worthy' pool, the Kempinski truly lives up to its reputation. It has a distinct beauty both day and night, and I really felt the charm of Shanghai. The driver told me that many people come specifically to take photos of the hotel with the Oriental Pearl Tower – it’s a classic shot. Now for a few minor issues: Our room had a great view (as shown in the picture), but the bathroom felt a bit dated and wasn't ideal. For a bubble bath, the water pressure wasn't strong enough, and the bubbles didn't quite materialize. This is a small point. Also, I found the Black Forest cake to be just average. However, the burger we ordered for in-room dining (Picture 7) was absolutely delicious! It was huge, and I ate the whole thing. It came with truffle mayonnaise, and the patty was firm and juicy – highly, highly recommended! The price was definitely 'Kempinski-level,' but the taste, like private chef quality, was excellent. I asked for an extra children's amenity kit for the room, and they provided a small bag that even included a Children's Day toy (Picture 14). I also bought some ice cream, chocolates, and macarons from the lobby. The ice cream was the best – the strawberry flavor I had even had large pieces of real strawberry, which was a pleasant surprise! Ms. Julia Li was incredibly thoughtful and suggested I place the order through Dianping, showing great consideration for the customer. Big kudos to her! She was the only one who told me this, despite me buying items three times, so a special thank you!

We brought our kids to the science museum and the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming. Seeing that we had children with us, they upgraded our room to one with a window, which was a lovely touch. The hotel isn't far from the science museum, and the room itself was clean and tidy. Public transport nearby is very convenient, and it's also close to shopping malls and famous attractions.

The room was fantastic, clean and hygienic, and the front desk staff were very welcoming. The location is also super convenient, with Century Link, Bailian, and Nine Six Square right downstairs. It's really close to Lujiazui, just a walk or a bike ride away. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shanghai. A very pleasant stay!

This was our first 'trip' with the baby, so we opted for the reliable Pudong Shangri-La, East Shanghai. On my birthday, I'd like to thank the House Director Sean and Lynn for their assistance in upgrading us to the Zijin Club floor on the 31st. The in-room facilities and views were truly exceptional, absolutely top-notch. They even thoughtfully helped us book a table at Jade on 36, and the service was incredibly attentive. Our little one had a wonderful time playing in the room, and we were very satisfied with both the river view outside the window and the thoughtful room decor. Boats slowly drifted by on the Huangpu River, and the Bund's architecture across the bank looked even more dazzling at night. We will definitely choose Pudong Shangri-La, East Shanghai again for our next visit.

The room is comfortable, clean, the hotel service is also friendly, can receive packages from Taobao, there is a free washing machine, close to metro Line 9 (Shancheng), Metro Line 2 (South Pudong Road), if I come to Shanghai again I will stay here, thank you 👍👍👍👍
