Okay, first off, I want to clarify that I'm not here to leave a malicious review. My mom, my brother, and I stayed here for three days, costing around 3,500-3,600 RMB. The price simply didn't match our experience, so I feel compelled to vent a little. I chose this hotel because of a blogger's recommendation and some hotel reviews. Now I know that those glowing reviews must have been bought because there's a sign right at the hotel entrance offering gifts for good reviews! This hotel only has one redeeming quality, which I'll mention at the end!
Firstly, on the first day, after check-in, I was unhappy with the room assignment. The front desk staff told me the two rooms were diagonally opposite each other. However, when we got upstairs, we found them separated by seven or eight rooms, requiring a long walk. Why lie? Wouldn't honesty be better?
Secondly, the room was very stuffy. We had to open the windows (the AC only provided heat, making it even stuffier, so we turned it off). My brother even left the door open during the day. Later, feeling unbearably stuffy around noon, the front desk provided a fan.
Thirdly, the food was all bad. On the first day, we ordered lunch at the hotel, and all three of us found it unappetizing. Breakfast was also incredibly difficult to eat! It was a buffet, and I had read online that the breakfast was plentiful. On the first day, I paid an extra 480 RMB for breakfast (breakfast and accommodation are purchased separately!). By the time you've walked around and collected your food, it's mostly cold because it was only slightly warm to begin with, and it genuinely tasted bad. The selection wasn't extensive either; in my opinion, there wasn't much to eat. The restaurant had very few young staff; the people cooking noodles, wontons, dumplings, and pancakes were all older individuals. I only saw one young person, who was frying eggs. On the last morning, I poured myself a cup of soy milk, and it was only lukewarm. I couldn't stand it anymore and, in front of a staff member (who was also around forty), I said, "This soy milk is cold." Later, she came over to apologize, saying they forgot to turn on the machine, and gave me a few bananas.
Fourth! If you're a light sleeper, absolutely do not stay in the rooms facing the high-speed train tracks! It's incredibly noisy! I slept terribly on the first night. On the second and third nights, I was so exhausted from visiting Disney that I was able to ignore the train noise and fall asleep!
Fifth, the service was also mediocre. I called the front desk several times from my room, and twice no one answered. Also, for food deliveries, they wouldn't bring them up unless I specifically called the front desk myself.
Finally, the only good thing about this hotel is that it's just one subway stop from Disney, and the hotel is about 400-500 meters from the subway station.
Sixth, the bathroom was so narrow; I don't know how it was designed. I hit my head once, and it hurt terribly 😭.
Seventh, in the smaller shower, the position of the overhead shower head is only suitable for people over 1.65 meters tall. I'm 1.6 meters, and it sprayed directly into my face when standing, so I had to hold the showerhead the whole time because I don't like using the large overhead one.
Eighth, the light switches in the hotel were hard to press, and even with all the lights on, the room wasn't very bright and looked quite ugly.
In summary, I do not recommend this hotel! If you read all this and think I'm making it up, then feel free to try it for yourself~
