The location is good. There are many hospitals nearby and it's close to the subway. The owner is nice. The bed in the room is extra big. I like the fact that the walls are covered with solid wood like a sauna room. The view on the top floor is wide. I will stay here again next time. The only problem is that it's not soundproof. .

I have stayed at Youxi Movie Hotel at 242 Ju Lu Road, Shanghai, China about three and half weeks from 13th November to 5th December. I had a wonderful time there. It located at the central Shanghai and is close to many entertainment centres and tourist attractions and shopping centra. The staffs at Youxi Movie Hotel were very helpful and friendly and the service is excellent. It was very surprise to me that my room is very quiet at night and you can watch a film on the wall while you are in the bed. My room is quite big so once I had my friends came over to watch the movie and chatter. And this hotel is quite new and the my room is very clean too.

When my friends and I chose to find a unique bungalow in Shanghai, we were lucky to choose this Minbo with an independent small courtyard. Let us find a peaceful corner in the hustle and bustle of Shanghai. The traffic on Fuxing Middle Road is very convenient, there are many foods and attractions around, and you can enjoy authentic breakfast style breakfast. The beds upstairs in the hotel are spacious and comfortable, and the room has projection equipment. Watching ”Little Times 1: The Origami Times” with friends who have not seen it for many years, it seems to travel through time and relive that good memory. Such a warm experience, let us have a more impressive impression of this small courtyard. Looking forward to the future opportunity to visit again!

This is my first time writing a review, so let's start with the cleanliness and sound insulation that everyone is more concerned about. Cleanliness: Five stars. The bedroom part is a pure bedroom that I live in, and I personally feel it is very clean. The wind in the room depends entirely on that system, which is very weak. I turned it up to the maximum, but it was still very small. But the room is kept at a constant temperature. It is cool in summer and warm in winter. The front desk said that they are afraid that everyone will catch a cold when sleeping with the wind on. I can't say. But it's possible. After all, the rooms are quite small, and you can see it from the example pictures. If you have just finished exercising or are very hot and want to cool down immediately, it is best to stay in the lobby for a while. The public bathroom part is small single rooms, and there are separate areas for men and women. I went to take a shower at around 9 o'clock in the evening, and there were two aunties waiting there to clean. They started cleaning after I finished taking a shower. In terms of bathing equipment: there are three types of showers, shower gel, shampoo, etc., and each small single room has a dry and wet separation. There is a wooden chair and a pair of slippers in the dry area. The bath towel is a disposable bath towel bag. The front desk will give it to you. I forgot about it at the time, but there was an aunt waiting to clean at the door. After I told them, they immediately brought me a bag. Water temperature: I didn't find the adjustment part, so I skipped this part. But there is one thing I want to remind girls who may care. Although the bathroom of this hotel is a small single room. But there is a glass facing the outside. Although it is frosted glass and can't be seen, someone may care, so I mention it. Sound insulation: three-four stars. Basically there is no special sound insulation, but everyone may understand when checking in, so the public environment is still very quiet. You can't hear the driving sound downstairs at night, but if someone is talking loudly outside, you can still hear it. Geographical location: It is very close to the Changshu Road Station subway, just at the intersection, and you can enter the subway after crossing the intersection. It can be regarded as convenient transportation. You can check the map for the specific subway lines. In general, it is the kind I will stay in again. I went to the vicinity for something, and I hope they can maintain the current state in the future.
Xiangyang Shangqin Boutique Hotel

The appearance of the hotel is very unique. Although the location is a bit far from the subway station, it is not far away to walk under the shade of the plane trees and see the old street scenery. It is especially suitable for visiting the surrounding characteristic neighborhoods, in addition to Xiangyang Road, Xinle Road, Changle Road, Shaanxi South Road, Julu Road has many small Western-style buildings and shops, giving it an old street feel. The front desk service is efficient, the restaurant environment is beautiful, especially the security guard is polite and enthusiastic, and he also helps with luggage. The indoor space is large enough, the decoration is simple and stylish, I like the window view of the plane trees, the double-glazed glass has good sound insulation effect, but the chairs are unique and not so comfortable to sit on. It is best to add an air freshening process to the room. When you walk into the room, the air in the corridor feels better. If this is improved, it will be perfect.
Weiliu Youth Hostel (Shanghai Xintiandi)
4.2/5375 Reviews
Huaihai Road Area
The room is small and poorly ventilated, but the price is cheap and the location is good. It is close to Xintiandi. It is a bit inconvenient to take a shower without slippers. The location is not easy to find, but you can just call the store when you go there. You have to navigate to Tianxiang Hotpot Restaurant to find it. , you can walk from the side door of the hot pot restaurant to the innermost area. It is very suitable for young people. Many young people gather to play there on Chengdu South Road next to it. It's at the intersection of Huaihai Middle Road and Chengdu South Road. Everyone is very quiet. In short, the location is good and the price is cheap. If you don't care about other things, everything is fine.

Journeying to Shanghai

Shanghai's main international airport, Shanghai Pudong International Airport, offers numerous connections globally. Once there, you can reach downtown Shanghai using the Shanghai Maglev Train, buses, or taxis. For domestic travelers, high-speed trains offer an efficient means of travel.

The main mode of payment in China is usually through AliPay or WeChat Pay. Most places still accept credit and debit cards, but it's wise to carry some local currency (RMB) for smaller vendors. Mandarin is the official language, with Shanghainese also widely spoken. A translation app may come in handy when interacting with locals.

Shanghai is brimming with must-see sights. Walk along the Bund to see colonial-era buildings against the backdrop of a modern skyline. Visit the tranquil Yuyuan Garden, an exquisite example of Ming Dynasty design. Shanghai's Seasons and Apparel

Shanghai has a humid subtropical climate. Summers (June-August) are hot and humid, while winters (December-February) can be quite cold. The best times to visit are autumn (September-November) and spring (March-May), when the weather is moderate.
