GGuest UserWe stayed at this guesthouse with our kids for our trip to Disneyland. It's about a 10-minute drive from the park, and the owner provides a complimentary shuttle service, dropping us off in the morning and picking us up in the evening. We hadn't booked our tickets in advance, but the owner even helped us connect with a concierge service to get them. All the rooms are themed, which was a big hit, and it offers great value for money. Plus, the kids loved being able to feed the rabbits!

MMenglitanle.The facilities are great, and the room is spacious. Every time I come to Shanghai, I stay at this hotel. The front desk service is excellent, and the cleaning staff do a thorough and meticulous job. I highly recommend this place; they even have free popcorn at the front desk and complimentary whiskey. My girlfriend and I always stay here. The movies are also great, and there's a free membership that allows screen casting. Rooms with windows offer a view of the plane trees.

EELI1363We had a great stay at this cozy and friendly hotel. The staff were very warm and welcoming, and our room was nice and clean — they even left us some fruit as a welcome gesture. The breakfast was good, and there was also a coffee machine in the lobby, which was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

Cchw_tThe hotel's location is fantastic. The lobby is on Sichuan Road, but there's also an entrance on Zhongshan East Road, making it super convenient to get to the Bund. After dinner, we relaxed at the hotel and waited for the Bund to be a bit less crowded before heading out for a stroll, which was really pleasant. The hotel's own restaurant is Michelin-starred, with an elegant atmosphere and good quality dishes. The bar is also great for a drink with a view of the Bund. As for the hotel facilities, they are top-notch, as expected from a hotel of this caliber. Overall, it was a very good experience.

GGuest UserTerrible. Will not stay again. The check-in SOP was unclear, forcing guests to ask multiple questions, even for basic information like breakfast times and location. The room smelled of smoke, possibly due to old or poorly maintained air conditioning. The front desk staff denied there was a smoke smell and only after repeated requests did they show me other rooms, about half of which also smelled of smoke. Their service attitude was both arrogant and perfunctory. The operational procedures were also a mess; for example, after checking in, I found the room didn't even have a kettle and called to request one. Ten minutes later, housekeeping knocked on the door, saying they needed to replace the in-room magazine. It was bizarre to replace a monthly magazine after check-in. The kettle that was eventually delivered was wet inside and out, with a strong disinfectant smell inside. The ice bucket in the room also had water and already smelled foul when opened. The hotel management is riddled with loopholes everywhere; quality is in the details. The hard furnishings like the toilet and bathtub in the room were old, the shower handle was broken, and the water pressure was worse than a 3 or 4-star hotel. The linens were average. However, the bedding and mattress were good.

GGuest UserQuiet surroundings and lovely hotel. About 5.5km away from Shanghai Disneyland. Shopping centre about 350m from Novotel. Bedding, amenities and pillows OK. Perhaps can change one soft pillow to a harder pillow instead of two soft pillows. Fridge drinks provided. Water pressure in shower good with instant hot water supply. Aircon in the room pre-programmed to 26°C...so we had to request for a stand fan to ventilate our room especially after returning from dinner after 3 hrs. Hotel provided only 1 keycard so we had to take it with us when we left the room. Could not leave card in the slot to continue cooling it. Thanks for upgrading us to L15 by your Reception staffs. Free shuttle to Pudong Airport and Disneyland. Good service by all staffs... Even to Novotel's shuttle coach driver who helped us with our luggages. Thanks to all. 🙏

GGuest UserWe needed a large place to stay in Shanghai for our family of 5. This apartment rental with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was perfect. It is located in a great neighborhood. An international supermarket is right downstairs. If you turn right/go south once you exit the property walk down a few blocks, you can find the famous HKRI TaiKoo Hui mall with the cruise ship LV store. It’s walking distance to lots of restaurants and shopping. The apartment itself was clean and well stocked with many practical items (several large bottles of water under the kitchen sink), sanitized/clean towels wrapped in plastic, slippers, toothbrush sets, shampo, body wash, a washing machine and dryer with laundry detergent pods, etc. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioning units in each room worked well. The service and communication with the host on WeChat was excellent. I was happy that the pictures online matched the reality, also. I definitely recommend this host and this particular apartment. Items.i

TThe Lonely TravellerMight I say, our entire stay at the W was marvelous from beginning to end. Upon arrival, we were greeted and helped with our luggage straight yo our room. The staff at the front desk was extremely friendly. She even offered to upgrade us to a room with a better view seeing that we were celebrating and visiting Shanghai for the first time. Each staff seemed to acknowledge our existence all throughout the hotel. This made us feel like extremely important people. Our room was absolutely stunning and oh my was the view ever so perfect. Room service was excellent. Their burger was probably the most delicious. We visited amd stayed in many hotels around China and this one definitely left some beautiful memories. We would highly recommend staying here if ever visiting Shanghai. Every penny spent was worth it.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very convenient, located near Shanghai Railway Station. The staff kindly allowed me to check in early and upgraded my room. Although there was a language barrier, they were very helpful and used a translation app to communicate with me. The hotel also has free facilities such as a kids’ playroom, gym, and laundry room.
