"💝 Unforgettable memories and impressions that will stay with us for the rest of our lives! 💝 🎶 Eunice Marasigan welcomed us and surrounded us with such care. You will be in our memory for a long time! Do I need to write that this hotel is a symbol of Singapore? Is it necessary to describe the delight of the view from the observation deck and from the pool? You need to see this with your own eyes, because the photo does not convey even half of the beauty that the eye sees. 💸 It is expensive. 💸 ☺️ Marina Bay Sands is my dream come true. I hope I can come back again. 😇"

"The hotel's location is absolutely superb, with the subway, shopping mall, and dining options right downstairs. The view from the window of Singapore's beautiful waterfront is fantastic. The room is spacious, comfortable, and bright, with daily housekeeping twice a day. The service is warm and attentive, and the breakfast offers a rich variety of delicious options. It's definitely worth staying here again."

"The room was great, and from the bedroom window, it seemed we overlooked an aquarium exhibit. The butler service was excellent. On our first night, the butler was incredibly helpful, giving us a thorough introduction to the room and even preparing the sofa bed downstairs. They also made sure to replenish our drinking water by the bedside each evening. All in all, it was a really pleasant stay."

"The room had a beautiful view and a convenient location for visiting Marina Bay and the Merlion. We had a pleasant check-in experience as we were allowed early check-in. I would like to express my sincere thanks to Rosy for assisting us on our first day. However, the overall experience at the hotel was disappointing. We had to queue for breakfast even though there were many empty tables (perhaps due to the hotel’s policy, but we’re not used to that). Tea and coffee were ordered at the beginning of the meal, yet they were only served after we had finished eating. At check-out, despite having fully paid for our stay through Trip.com, the front desk insisted that we hadn’t made the payment. I had to repeatedly ask them to recheck — as someone working in the hotel industry, I understand how the process works — but the staff kept insisting that we hadn’t paid and asked us to provide proof. It was extremely disrespectful. I had to spend 5–10 minutes explaining, and the receptionist still maintained that we hadn’t paid (poor professionalism and very unprofessional attitude). Only after the OTA in-charge staff verified did they finally admit that it was their mistake. We paid around $400–500 per night and yet received such treatment — it was truly disrespectful to the guests. Therefore, I will rate this hotel 1 star because of this experience and will never return. However, once again, I would like to thank Rosy and the housekeeping staff — they always greeted every guest with a warm and friendly attitude."

"We could not use the machine for self check-in because their system could not find our booking on trip.com, so a staff member had to manually check in for us. Excellent facilities - they provided lots of trolleys for luggages near the front door/reception area, which I think were quite thoughtful. Our kids used the playground a lot. Would love to use the swimming pool but our room (Studio Queen and Single) was quite small (especially the bathoom) to hang our swim clothes to dry. Coat hangers were provided in the room which could be used to hang swimclothes on to airdry, but with the humidity in Singapore, it would take about 2 days to completely dry. In the middle of our stay, we found a dead cockroach on the bed (first photo) while clearing stuff to prep the room for daily room service/cleaning. We left it there for the cleaner to handle it, but when we came back at night, the dead cockroach was still in the room (and moved to a different spot this time - second photo), so we cleaned it ourselves. Not that we are nitpicking, but since the room was small, we had to organise our things around every nook and cranny of the room, and I found the wall under the table near the floor quite dirty."

"This hotel is absolutely delightful; everything from the environment to the service deserves a perfect score. It's my preferred choice whenever I visit Singapore. I was upgraded to a one-bedroom villa due to a noise issue from the next room, and I'm very grateful for the staff's attentive care. The document printing service in the lobby was also a pleasant surprise. I truly enjoyed my four-day stay here."

"The receptionists are nice and friendly as well as the room service personnel, Nice bed and view from the room. Just no bidet and no free water but you can purchase at the lobby or from the nearby convenience store. Strategic location, it's walking distance to Clark Quay Central, accessible via Fort Canning MRT and Clark Quay Station, easy to book car via hailing apps. Overall, it's a nice play to stay."

"This is a very large hotel by Mandarin Oriental standards, in terms of the number of rooms—that’s my guess for why the service wasn’t up to anything like stays at other of their properties or similar luxury hotels. It took days to respond to an email inquiry and despite feedback, a traditionally basic element of turndown service—providing ice in the room—wasn’t completed. So too the breakfast buffet felt more like Disney than a five star hotel, crowded and underwhelming in its offerings. Seeing a robot carrying dirty dishes passing through clusters of people waiting to get food is not what I would expect at a five star property. Treatment-wise, the spa was quite good but it’s small and lacked a proper relaxation room. Room service was decent, the sushi box was excellent though the lobster laksa was underwhelming, especially since it’s a signature dish of Singapore. The chocolate mousse was the opposite of rich. But the room was generally quite well appointed if on the smaller side (especially the shower), and the view lovely. Still there are so many other excellent hotels in Singapore this was an overall disappointment and I wouldn’t stay there again."

"I was very disappointed by this hotel. Let me give the pros first, then we can talk about the cons which are many and diverse but focus on one aspect mostly with many branches I guess. Pro: - the staff was kind and helpful to the best of their possibilities (limited probably by upper management? Just a guess) - the location is right I'm between Chinatown and Marina Bay area.. Definitely walkable distance from both (if you don't mind the weather and are a walker) - free bottle of wine (I don't drink alcohol) and little lion plushie (so cute!) as a free gift That's it. Now to the cons: - the furniture and structure is old.. An it shows. I guess if you come here expecting a high tier 4 star hotel as the Singapore hotel seem to be, you'll be heavily disappointed. Switches, wardrobe, carpets, safe, everything is clearly old - I originally got a business executive room (floor 20) and was so disappointed that I had to complain... It was definitely NOT on par with what I was paying. Admittedly this was during the F1 days so this makes thing a bit more reasonable since prices are crazy everywhere during those days, but I was staying here 10 days and it was not acceptable - after complaining the Staff kindly upgraded me to a premium room (floor 17) which was slightly better but still insufficient... This room admittedly had a very nice view on the city with a big window, and a nice cozy bath tub.. But that's about it, everything else is still true - I couldn't use the restaurant since I quickly passed by but the food wasn't too interesting to me so just went for a Korean BBQ nearby.. So that's up to you. There were people eating there and seemed satisfied though :) Overall if this was a 3 star hotel and way cheaper then I would have not complained, but again for the price and the category not enough for me."

Must-know travel tips for staying in Singapore

Singapore

Before going to Singapore, it’s important to be prepared with a few essentials.

Tansportation in Singapore

If you're heading to Singapore, the main gateway is Changi Airport (SIN), which has been voted the best airport in the world. Taxis are also convenient, and you can easily grab one through "Grab". There are also numerous cycling paths and park connectors throughout the city, because Singapore promotes green and active transport.

Top attractions in Singapore

There are multiple attractions in Singapore you can expect! Here are some of the top attractions.

  • Universal Studios Singapore: Here you can exchange “good mornings” with your favourite characters such as Illumination’s Minions, Transformers and more. With so many exciting rides, USS is definitely your must-go in Singapore!

XXiaolifeidao1977The room was spacious and clean, with unlimited bottled water provided. While not all staff spoke Chinese, overall they were very friendly and proactive, helping with luggage and opening doors. The breakfast restaurant on the ground floor was extremely crowded, often requiring a wait. The night view from the higher-floor rooms was decent. It's a 5-minute walk to Promenade MRT station, but getting here from Changi Airport requires one MRT transfer. Suntec City, located downstairs, offers very convenient dining and shopping. Merlion Park is quite a walk away; even taking public transport (bus/MRT) still involves a significant walk on both ends. Grab rides tend to be more expensive than regular taxis, though most taxi drivers are Chinese and can speak Chinese.

SS & EWe stayed in a hotel room not an apartment. Room is quite small. Has a standing shower, mini fridge, tv, ironing board, hair dryer and electric kettle. There is a swimming pool, a fitness center,a launderette, a kitchenette and study/working/relaxing area on lobby level. Mrt stations are within a 10-15min walk. Walking distance to Boat Quay, Clarke Quay, hawker centre, lots of pubs, eating places and convenience stores. But on weekends and public holidays all the nearby restaurants, cafes and stores are closed. We stayed there because it's pet friendly. The room was not very clean. The floor felt damp & sticky and the quilt cover had stains. And there was too much banging and slamming noises (probably from closing doors and housekeeping) which made my puppy very jittery.Basic toiletries and bath towels were provided, but no bottled water. There is a water cooler near the lifts. Overall is good though not excellent. The walk to BQ and CQ is good but do remember to bring your brolly.

JJejessicaaaI booked Deluxe Single Room but they gave me a free upgrade yeay! They gave me room 206 and I think it's Deluxe Double Room. I'll try to give the pros and cons while I'm staying here: Pros: *All staffs are friendly (Qistina, Pravita, and other staffs that sadly I didn't ask for their name). They always greeted me whenever I stepped out from the lift and they are all really helpful and proactive. *The room is very clean! Michelle and her team are working so hard to clean the rooms. I paid attention that they mostly started to clean my room after lunch. Every afternoon, the staff will knock your room to give an afternoon tea (raw sachets) and candies for you with a handwriting letter. From my observed, the letters were different everyday. Thanks Rabiatul for writing such a beautiful letter for me. *The AC works too perfect until I feel cold. I really hope they can change the position of the AC so it's not directly facing us (this is one of the cons) *The building is newly renovated and the vibes make it feel like home. The light isn't too bright but not too dimmed either. I always tried to find hotel with this kind of vibes wherever I'm staying at. The light is light yellow. *The laundry machine is easy to use (because some of the hotels provide a complicated laundry machine). *It's quite close to MRT station and Chinatown which is a really good point. *The staffs didn't make it hard for me when check-in & check-out. Definitely no drama at all. Cons: *Some of you may feel the room will be too small. For me, the upgraded room was perfect for a solo traveler like me. However, I must say that it's better to not book this room if you're coming with your partner as it will feel cramped. I've stayed in much smaller room than this so I really didn't see this as a burden. *The pillows are really the big downside that they need to urgently pay attention to. It's soft but it will make your neck ache after using it for hours. It's really uncomfortable for me to the point I better to sleep without the pillows. It's better to change the pillows into brand Tempur since you already set your standards so high in your amenities so why don't set it high for your pillows too? :) *I'm a light sleeper and very sensitive to sounds. I've been really scared because most of the reviews mentioned it's so noisy outside. To my surprise, I didn't hear any noise at all at night (?) but yes the trains are always going back and forth and it's vibrating my room. I remembered my room felt like shaking on my first 2 night here. However, I didn't feel it that much anymore after that, at least I didn't feel it ruined my sleep. The pillows did, not the noise :”( *If you like to eat your food inside your room especially on the floor, please prepare yourself to eat it right in front of your bathroom. I was well trained from my previous hotel so I don't think this is a big problem but maybe you will. *Some of you may feel the bathroom and toilet are too small but for me it's really fine (maybe I've experience in smaller room than this) :( But I really feel you still can move your body pretty freely though. Lemme confess, I was spending my time to search almost all hotels in the city and there were several times when I wanted to cancel the book here for another hotels. But I was glad I didn't do it. I am not sugar coating my review, this is my pure feeling about this hotel and I will definitely stay here again. To be honest, the hotel selection in Singapore isn't plenty and most of them have similar negative issues. However, I tried my best to sort the best for myself and though I once hesitated, I am glad that I stay with Claude Hotel <3. For Claude Hotel, there's still room for improvement. Please, consider change your pillows soon. I hope the business can be survived in the long run and I'll see you again!

YYQQStay was comfortable. Room is clean, amenities provided. Location is not too bad, outside the hotel entrance is paragon. Oppo is taka and is walking distance to MRT. To reach the room, we are required to change lift at lvl 4, walk straight once u got off lift at lvl 4(to reach the other lift lobby). Noises can be heard quite clearly when in the room, guess this is the cons I had during my stay. Overall still a nice hotel.

SSze TiongI had a truly pleasant stay at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove. From the moment I arrived, the check-in process was seamless and efficient, thanks to the warm and friendly assistance of Miss Asmah at the front desk. She made me feel welcome right away. My experience at Latitude was equally enjoyable—the food and ambience were complemented by a stunning view of the yachts docked just alongside, creating a uniquely relaxing atmosphere. A special compliment also goes to the housekeeping team, in particular, Ms Kalai, for her honesty and attentiveness. I had accidentally left my laptop charger in the room after checking out, and she ensured it was safely kept until I returned to collect it. That level of care and professionalism is truly commendable. Overall, the service and hospitality at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay by the marina.

GGuest UserMy room was so cool, cozy, and functional. Perfect for solo staycations. The location was superb. Just walking distance to bus stops, mrt, and Vivo City. The pool was smaller than expected and the breakfast was a bit subpar. My first breakfast majority of the foods tasted artificial. The second breakfast day was a bit better. Front desk staff were efficient and welcoming. The view from my room was okay. Had a view of the trees and the road but it was too close as I was on the 4th floor. Could not open the window because people may see me as there were people and cars passing through the road.

TTHI THANHWe had a great experience staying at The Bus Collective! Right from the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a pleasant receptionist who patiently guided us through our queries and made us feel right at home. The room was a real surprise — nicely designed, very neat, and spotlessly clean with some unique wow factors that really set it apart from typical stays. Although the moving space inside the room was slightly limited, it didn’t take away from the overall comfort and experience. A lovely bonus was the unlimited coffee and drinks — a thoughtful touch that we truly appreciated during our stay. The location is also super convenient, with easy access to various gates that lead to different attractions. Having a hawker centre just next door was another big plus — so many local food options right at our doorstep! Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable stay for my family. Would definitely recommend The Bus Collective for anyone looking for a unique and cozy getaway!

AAnonymous UserStaying in Singapore has certainly been an experience, and overall, it was quite… unique 😅 First, the pros: 1. **Convenient Location**: It's about 900 meters from Harbourfront Vivocity, roughly a 10-minute walk. 2. **Affordable Price**: At 625 RMB per night (weekend rate, slightly higher than weekdays) including tax, this is considered quite cheap in Singapore, where prices are sky-high 😅. 3. **Cleanliness**: The room was very clean and well-maintained, as expected from a chain brand. Now for the cons: First, the room is tiny, definitely less than 13 square meters. The actual usable space, including the bathroom, is only about six or seven square meters. Second, I honestly didn't understand what ”1 double bed measuring 1.31 meters” meant at first. After checking in, I realized that 1.31 meters was the total width of *two* beds! Divided by two, each bed was only 0.65 meters wide 😅. Honestly, this is the narrowest bed I've ever slept in 😅. I didn't think much of it and just lay down, but in the middle of the night, I almost fell off the bed when I turned over. I had to get up and push the two beds together to be able to continue sleeping, albeit uncomfortably, due to the large, sunken gap in the middle. Also, I don't know who keeps them, but there are several chickens in the green belt outside, and they started crowing incessantly before 7 AM. It feels a bit out of place for a business hotel to have chickens outside, not quite fitting with Singapore's sophisticated, elite image, haha 😅. Another experience related to ”cultural differences”: The hotel doesn't provide bottled water. There's a ”drinking water” sign on the bathroom faucet, but I didn't dare drink it, haha 😅. Luckily, I brought two bottles of water myself (500ml + 600ml), which I managed to make do with for a day and a half. Plus, there was a 600ml bottle of mineral water on the Aeroline bus on the way back the next evening. This saved me money on buying water in Singapore (not including a coconut shake and a durian cendol I bought the next day). Singapore is really hot and humid. The sun is scorching during the day, and walking outside feels like being roasted alive 😅. Restaurants and food courts don't provide free hot or cold water. Water might indeed be a scarce resource here, which I can rationally understand 😅.

SSuitcaseSoulWe had such a wonderful stay at Studio M Hotel! The atmosphere and overall environment were superb – truly a pleasant experience from start to finish. The location is just perfect. Being right next to the Singapore River made our stay even more special. The morning walks were serene and peaceful, while the evenings were vibrant with the lively nightlife – such a beautiful contrast to experience. It’s also very convenient – just a 5–10 minute walk to the MRT and around 10–15 minutes to Chinatown. Two 7-Eleven stores nearby made it super handy, and there are plenty of restaurants along the river within walking distance. Overall, this is a “don’t miss” hotel when in Singapore – stylish, comfortable, and perfectly located. Highly recommend!
