Shanghai Disneyland Hotel

Before checking in, my child accidentally left their cherished hat in the car, and we were quite anxious at the time. I'm incredibly grateful to Ms. Vivian at the front desk for her enthusiastic help. She even went out of her way to contact Mr. Benjamin, a manager, and another colleague to assist us. They spent a considerable amount of time helping us get in touch with the driver, and eventually, the hat was successfully recovered. We were truly touched and thankful. 🙏 Our stay overall was very satisfying. The hotel environment was comfortable and clean, and the staff's service was both friendly and professional, making us feel incredibly welcomed. Thank you so much for your assistance and care, which left us with wonderful memories of our trip. Highly recommended! ❤️ The only minor disappointment was that when we booked, we chose a Garden View room, expecting to see a garden. However, the actual view from the window was mainly a construction area, which was a bit different from what we anticipated. Thank you once again for your wonderful hospitality. We look forward to staying with you again in the future. ❤️

The hotel rooms are spacious, very clean, and the environment is excellent. There's a convenient hotel shuttle service to Disneyland. The staff are very friendly, always happy to help with luggage, and greet you with a smile.

First, the downsides: Check-in was incredibly slow, with a long wait. The game room required registration every single time, and you couldn't stay in there indefinitely as they would regularly clear it out. While the pool water was heated, the air conditioning was cold, leaving my child with blue lips. The birthday cake I'd pre-arranged over the phone wasn't there, and neither was any birthday amenity. On the plus side: The staff were all very attentive and patient. Every request made via phone to housekeeping was addressed immediately. Any issues I brought up were promptly dealt with. The interactive games were quite fun, and the luggage handling and storage services were excellent. PS: Ordering food through customer service incurs a 15% service charge, but I found the food to be quite delicious and would recommend it.

This was our second stay at the Disneyland Hotel, and it was fantastic! They gave us a signed character photo, and since it was my child's birthday month, we got a birthday badge. Every staff member who saw it wished them a happy birthday, which really made them feel special! The room now has electric curtains and a smart toilet. Even though it's been 5 years since our last visit, the lobby, pool, rooms, and gardens are all incredibly well-maintained. Check-in at the front desk was super fast, and the kids' play area kept the little ones entertained, making it a breeze for parents. We also got early park entry through a dedicated channel and enjoyed exclusive boat rides on Wishing Star Lake in the afternoon and evening. There were so many great activities for Disney's 10th anniversary. Both the hotel stay and the park experience were amazing! 👍

I feel like they've replaced some of the older electrical outlets and things in the room, because it's much more comfortable than when I stayed in the winter! The room stays cool even without AC. If it wasn't so fully booked, even the poor soundproofing wouldn't be an issue! I'm really happy with this stay~

Executive perks: We checked in in the afternoon, but our room wasn't ready. We were able to go to the lounge next door to relax with some drinks and snacks while we waited, or we could join one of the hotel's exploration activities. In the evening, we could watch the fireworks, and there was even a 'pajama boss' (staff member) who came to wish us goodnight.

Housekeeping wasn't very proactive. If you book for two days, you have to remind the staff downstairs to get your complimentary cups on the second day. Even then, it's often forgotten. Everything else was pretty good, especially the lobby staff.

We upgraded to an executive room, which was perfect for a relaxed family trip with kids. We enjoyed afternoon tea, dinner, and breakfast, and could sleep in until we naturally woke up before heading to the park at our leisure. Every staff member was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic, and the hotel even has its own children's activities.
