CCiky2023Our romantic winter getaway began the moment we stepped into Dino Starry Resort, immediately feeling a warm welcome. Unlike a typical hotel's impersonal atmosphere, the staff here felt like old friends, making us feel right at home and completely relaxed.
Getting to Disneyland was a breeze with their Mercedes shuttle, which departed at our pre-arranged time. Breakfast was plentiful, and our room was spotless and tidy. The overall environment was lovely, and there were even small animals in the backyard that we could feed for free.
The biggest surprise, though, was experiencing authentic winter fun. We gathered around a traditional earthen pot stove, warming ourselves and chatting, or enjoyed a steaming hotpot cooked in a vintage hanging pot. On sunny days, we even had a lively outdoor BBQ with plenty of smoke and laughter. From the rustic charm of the earthen pot to the nostalgic feel of the hanging pot and the vibrant energy of the BBQ, this place had it all.
Dino Starry is more than just a place to stay; it's a wonderful space where you can unwind, leave your weariness behind, and relive cherished moments. Come and gather with your loved ones here, and collect a whole winter's worth of warmth amidst delicious food and laughter!

GGuest UserWe stayed with two children, and they upgraded us to a Little Yellow Duck themed room, which the kids absolutely loved.
The complimentary scheduled shuttle service was a thoughtful touch. On our first day, we wanted to go to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. Just as we were about to call a taxi, the shuttle driver told us he could take us directly and advised us not to bother with a taxi, which was super convenient.
Heartwarming late-night snack: We could enjoy a late-night snack after returning to the hotel. They offered mini wontons and mixed noodles. The mini wontons were delicious, and the kids really enjoyed them.
Cleanliness: Overall, it was excellent!
Minibar all-you-can-drink: There were sodas, and for the kids, oat milk and cookies. The cookies were incredibly tasty!
Ordering takeout was also very convenient, with a robot delivering it directly to the room.
Another shout-out to the hotel: I accidentally booked an extra room on another platform but forgot about it. The hotel proactively contacted me, which was very considerate, and they even refunded me in the end. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for family travel.

Vvinc.monicaThe place is strategically located around many shops and eateries so I didnt have to worry finding food in the middle of the night. The facilities are clean and well maintained so I had a really good stay. The shuttle from airport and to Disneyland also make life a lit easier. And last but not least, the staff are helpful and kind. Definitely recommending this hotel to my friends visiting Shanghai!

GGuest UserNice hotel with good breakfast in the morning. There’s no western food but they always have steamed potato, boiled eggs and corn. Also there two types of dumplings, several Chinese dishes and fruits. The room is clean, without specific smells. Bed is super comfy and clean! I love it! The hotel staff don’t speak English but they will help you even with language barrier. They have laundry room and treadmill in public zone. Also they clean the room and change towels everyday.

KKCLim67Hotel was good with clean room and excellent service. This hotel do not have a proper pick up and drop off, hence have to do it at next building without shelter. We were very unlucky as it was raining during our check out rushing to airport and got wet.
Next was the restaurant for breakfast. Never expect its was like a 2 stars hotel breakfast environment. The breakfast spread was fine with a coffee machine.
They do have a coffee machine at lobby for free serving 24 hours. There is a convenient store just beside the hotel but not operate 24hrs.
Another postive was the Metro station just opposite the hotel.

AAnonymous UserI originally booked a Deluxe River View Room at The Peninsula, but to my pleasant surprise, I received a complimentary upgrade to a River View Suite! What an amazing bonus! The suite offered a stunning, expansive view directly overlooking the beautiful Bund, creating a fantastic ambiance. The hotel's service was meticulous and attentive, the facilities were top-notch, and the environment was serene and elegant. During the holiday season, I even received some delightful complimentary treats. The whole experience was absolutely fantastic – truly a benchmark in luxury.

Special thanks to concierges Rookie, Finn, and Brin. Upon arrival, they proactively met us with umbrellas and meticulously handled our luggage, all while maintaining a warm and courteous demeanor. When I inquired about exploring the Bund and making Michelin restaurant reservations, they patiently planned an itinerary, swiftly secured sought-after table bookings, and even thoughtfully printed out travel guides. Their efficiency and thoroughness, with attention to every detail, truly reflected a luxurious service standard, making my entire stay effortless and comfortable. This will be my top choice when visiting Shanghai; the concierge team truly adds immense value.

TThe Lonely TravellerMight I say, our entire stay at the W was marvelous from beginning to end. Upon arrival, we were greeted and helped with our luggage straight yo our room. The staff at the front desk was extremely friendly. She even offered to upgrade us to a room with a better view seeing that we were celebrating and visiting Shanghai for the first time. Each staff seemed to acknowledge our existence all throughout the hotel. This made us feel like extremely important people.
Our room was absolutely stunning and oh my was the view ever so perfect. Room service was excellent. Their burger was probably the most delicious. We visited amd stayed in many hotels around China and this one definitely left some beautiful memories.
We would highly recommend staying here if ever visiting Shanghai. Every penny spent was worth it.

GGuest UserThis hotel is good and modern. Clean and well looked after. The staff here are very nice and friendly.
The TV is big and there is a small fitness room that has a set of weights, one bench and a treadmill.
Notes
The toilet is overly fancy and causes a lot of light. It uses buttons for everything and I had to translate them. At night the light changes colour and is very disruptive to sleep. I unplugged it at night to stop this.
The location is fine but nothing really in the area other than the train station, however Shanghai is a bit like that anyway.
