"The lady at the front desk, dressed in black, provided incredibly professional service that left a deep impression. Communication was exceptionally smooth; she understood my needs with just a few words, which was efficient and hassle-free. The front desk is very busy every day, yet their service efficiency and attitude remain top-notch, truly commendable. In comparison, the staff at the lobby bar were a bit less enthusiastic, but that's alright because the front desk ladies were so warm and proactive, which I found very touching. Most hotels are pretty much the same; it's only outstanding service that makes one stand out. I will definitely choose to stay here again if I have the need."

I had a wonderful 3 nights stay at this hotel. My room was clean and quiet with comfortable bedding and mattress. The service was great as well. Service staff were warm, friendly and responsive. Special mention to Ayla from the front desk for helping us to do early check-in and found us a room with nice view of the park. The hotel also sent over some fruits and dessert on our first day. Overall it was a pleasant and memorable stay.

The location is very good, just next to IFC mall and some shopping centres nearby. We stayed for 3 nights for our anniversary and the staff upgraded us to a room facing the Bund view. The room is nice, spacious and clean. Special thanks to Rosy for taking care of our needs and bringing us a delicious cake to celebrate. Overall, it was such a pleasant stay and we will be staying in Ritz Carlton again when we come to Shanghai.

Our first impression of the hotel was wonderful, friendly staffs and comfortable environment greeted us at the entrance. Special mention to 袁欢 whom helped me find a suitable room for my family and I with upmost patience and eagerness. The view in the bedroom was great as the windows are full length. Breakfast had various options too. I visited the Epicure at 45 to be surprised by the astonishing 360 view of Shanghai. You get to experience such fine dining while enjoying the scenery around you. On a Tuesday night, we got to visit the bar on floor 47. Accompanied by jazzy tunes from the pianist and singer, I enjoyed the vibe-y night. The hotel gave me a positive experience; family-friendly and comfy. I’d recommend this hotel! 再次感谢丽笙酒店的接待“袁欢”主任，谢谢您给我们全家带来欢乐和美好的上海印象，周到又贴心，还制造了意外的惊喜，情绪价值满格，谢谢您🥰酒店虽然20岁了，但整体的维护依然出彩，酒店保养的很好，对面就是地铁,直达浦东国际机场T1，T2，接待外宾或者全家出游的首选之地．

His willingness to help at such a late hour, coupled with his calm and professional attitude, truly reflects the high standards of service associated with Waldorf Astoria. Please extend my heartfelt thanks to Jude — his dedication did not go unnoticed and made a stressful situation much easier to manage. 我想特别表扬 Waldorf Astoria 礼宾部的 Jude。 尽管已是凌晨12点，他仍非常耐心并主动协助我处理寄错地址的包裹，服务专业又贴心。这样的敬业精神让我深受感动，也充分体现了贵酒店一贯的高水准服务。 The other team members in the concierge department also did a helpful job with our baggage. It’s just unfortunate that I can’t have my Meituan food delivery sent by the hotel staff directly to my room. This was inconvenient but I understand the food and hygiene aspects that they uphold. Generally, a pleasant stay with best location. The bund view is just too awesome!

I’ve been visiting The Peninsula for a decade, and it’s a magnificent hotel. The location is brilliant, the indoor pool is one of the best in the world, the spa team is phenomenal. Yet on this recent visit, the service, while quite good, wasn’t the sort of impeccable, seamless joy one hopes for: the early staffing for breakfast was limited, without a dedicated host to welcome and seat guests; I realize it was a Saturday night on a holiday weekend, but a twenty minute wait just to be able to order room service is a bit much; over half of the deserts on the menu were unavailable. The room is wonderfully comfortable as always, fantastic housekeeping and amenities—I do hope they can get back to the very high bar they’ve set for themselves across all of their hotels. Plus truly stunning views if you’re in a river view room.

booked a room at the Banyan tree for my parents who were visiting to celebrate their wedding anniversary and upon check in we were greeted by the most lovely staff who quickly helped my parents check in and upgraded us for free to a nicer room. It also had prepared Rose petals within the room and some desserts to celebrate their wedding anniversary which was very appreciated. The room was unbelievable and the view alone made the whole experience worth it. My parents absolutely loved their stay and couldn’t stop raving about the service of all the workers as well. we had some items that my family were unsure if we could bring onto flight, and the hotel staff even went out of their way to call the airline to confirm for us. hotel amenities also great, huge gym and pool with multiple spas, and gym having a reformer pilates machine too. we’ve been to many hotels within shanghai now and this is by far the best , with strong service, a modern room and incredible view. all the photos of the view in the review were taken from within the room, better than going out to the bund!

We had a wonderful stay at the Andaz in Shanghai, made even better by the exceptional service we received from Lynn at the front desk. From the moment we arrived, Lynn went out of her way to assist us with our room and check-in, communicating clearly and confidently in English, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The hotel is ideally located, close to restaurants, shops, and some of Shanghai’s most exciting attractions, making it a perfect base for exploring the city. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable, a true retreat after a day of sightseeing. The attention to detail, warm hospitality, and high standard of service truly stood out. Thank you, Lynn, for your kindness and professionalism. You made our stay at the Andaz unforgettable. We had a King room on 33rd floor facing the Jing'an Tempel, quite a nice view. Staff at the front desk, room service and in the spa area are nice, friendly and helpful, check-in and out was very quick Room is a bit outdated but was well maintained. The bed was very huge and comfy, I especially liked the pillows. Gym is well equipped and the machines work well. Pool and Spa were very clean and enjoyable. In my opinion the Kunlun offers great value for the money.
