"I came to Chengdu with my friends and found this hotel on Ctrip. The front desk lady was very enthusiastic. We stayed in a deluxe king-size room. The room was very clean, with windows for ventilation, good air, and complete disposable supplies. Every day, there was an auntie who cleaned the room. The auntie was also very enthusiastic. When we asked about the washing machine, she took the initiative to take us there. The hotel is near the subway station and the transportation is very convenient."

"I came to Chengdu with my parents and children for 4 days and stayed in this hotel. I can only say that this is the right choice. Mercure Jinniu Wanda Plaza is simply great. There are several shopping malls around the hotel, and it is not far from the subway station. The room is clean and the breakfast is rich. I especially want to praise the service of the housekeepers Xiao Yang and Xiao Yu. Not only did they recommend delicious restaurants around the hotel, but they also solved any needs immediately, which was very considerate. There is a parking lot in the backyard of the hotel, which is very convenient for self-driving tours. I will stay here again next time I come to Chengdu. I highly recommend it!"

"As soon as I walked into the room, I felt that the room was very clean. I could see that the aunt cleaned it very carefully. The design of dry and wet separation was very reasonable. The bathroom was clean and odorless. The room was fully equipped with various facilities. There was a small refrigerator, which was very convenient to put some water in it in summer. It was also equipped with tea and coffee. The coffee cups were disposable and very safe to use.
Because I sleep lightly, I always choose hotels with higher quality bedding. The memory pillow used by Atour helps me fall asleep easily all night long! ! !
The hotel is also very soundproof. When the windows are closed during the day, there is basically no noise. The sound insulation effect of the windows is very good. It is even quieter at night. Even the exhaust fan is silent, and it will not make any noise at all. I sleep very well.
The facilities and equipment are very good and fully equipped. The TV can be projected, and the central air-conditioning is also very comfortable.
Finally, I must praise the hotel's late-night porridge. After staying up late, I have a bowl of nutritious porridge to nourish the stomach and heart. It is provided for a limited time at night. It is really very considerate. I will consider Atour first when I go out in the future!"

"We booked the room with the hot spring tub and it was spacious and comfortable! Hotel staff were extremely helpful - from handling our luggages (two huge ones), providing food recommendations and early check out request due to our day trip out of Chengdu!
They also provided snacks for us to bring for our day trip to the mountains. We felt really welcome from day 1 of our stay till the end.
Saw some reviews about room cleanliness and noises from outside due to thin walls, I mean…it’s an old courtyard converted into a hotel, so do expect some aspect of heritage left behind as part of the vibe!
It’s a great escape from the bustling city, forces you to be quiet and zen. Come experience it yourself."

"The room is consistent with the picture, the decoration style is simple and elegant, I like it very much, the various facilities are beautifully arranged, the hygiene is very clean, the check-in is assured, and the surrounding transportation is convenient. This time I stayed in a street-facing room, with good lighting and a beautiful night view. Although it is facing the street, it is much better to close the window. The efficiency of the front desk check-in and check-out is also very high. In particular, Xiao Hong patiently answered some of my questions, and was gentle and gave people a particularly good feeling. I look forward to staying there next time."

Staff are friendly. We encountered power failure on our last day morning (electrician inspection for the area), so hotel had free extend our check out time and give two pandas as free gift to us for inconvenience caused.

"So many good things abt this hotel. All the basic cleanliness, hairdryer, fridge, toiletries all there. Wifi is good. Bed is comfortable. Location abit off the main streets but is quiet at night.
Smart hotel room with different light settings and indication of privacy or room tidy up. Have to mention that room cleaning is very thorough and efficient 👍
Aircon is not strong though.
Very nice citrus fragrance in shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Thick fluffy towels.
Free coffee available in lobby. Has a cute robot walking ard saying excuse me excuse me 😂

"Excellent service from check-in to check-out. Credits to Clouds, who is the manager of the executive suites floor, and Nancy, who oversees the front desk.
Location is not in city centre, but precisely what i like about this hotel. Sitting right next to one of the main recreation parks in Chengdu, with access to main highways within minutes of drive. Could be slightly difficult to hail a ride during rush hours, but otherwise all fine. 20mins ish back to Chengdu down town without traffic.
Brand new building, and hygiene is well maintained (they even called to ask do i need my room cleaned while i was away as i have turned on the no disturb signal light). A bit of leakage from the the shower with water flowing into the toilet area, but this is a minor issue. Amenities were great, especially the balcony.
Customers attracted to the hotel are well behaved and quiet, providing a relaxing ambience to the hotel.
One recommendation however, would be great if we can have a proper bar area, ideally next to the nice garden, providing light food, easy drinks such as beers and cocktails.
Will definitely return and recommend to friends and family."

Tten.ten.2020Coming here again in the spring, this inn remains the highlight of my trip.
Imagine having had a rough trip: the cold, intense population density, and tough business meetings. Weary, you get off a late flight with sore legs. You trudge over to the inn, turning the final corner into its warm lights, past the usual check-in time. You have no idea how things could go; some hotel receptions can be rather unpleasant. Your first brush with Xishu is its simple double glass doors, and the sight of a giant panda statue. You totter past it gingerly, unsure if anyone is awake at such a late hour.
Ah.
But someone is.
A youthful girl smiles gently at you over the counter, ”Hello. Check in?”
You smile awkwardly, unsure, ”Yes, I know it's late...”
”No,” She responds softly, ”It's ok. Could I get your passport?”
There wasn't a fuss. She smiles and gets to work quietly, clicking away. You set your luggage down and look around. Behind you, you notice the little courtyard, a cultural icon of traditional chinese architecture. A small fountain sputters, fairy lights are strung above for the spring festival, casting a surreal ambience over everything. Wind chimes jingle faintly. You draw a breath at it all. Small tables and chairs are laid out, welcoming you.
”Your room key,” You turn around to see the youthful girl at the counter smiling gently with a keycard. She briefs you in the same calming tone; wifi, breakfast, washing machines, and even a map of attractions all planned out.
You thank her, reminded of your travel fatigue, and head on up. Your footsteps are dampened by carpet, going in hallways of soothing chinese wooden interior designs. The inn is quiet at this hour, unlike the large hotels that have kids or travel groups. You tap your keycard to get in your room... And a small welcome basket awaits you. Apples and oranges, sweets, tiny little spicy sichuan snacks. The aesthetic of the room remains faithful to the inn, throwing you back down the memory lane... to Japanese ryokans, to Bali's traditional guest villas, or to vacation cottages in Europe.
But something is a little different.
Instead of stripping technology and modern convenience, this inn has woven it into its design. Air conditioning has been set for you. Smart toilet seats detect your presence and keep itself clean. Shower buttons are easy to understand, with a single easily controllable hot water lever. Even the mirror at the bathroom sink detects your presence and lights up, with a heating coil that prevents it from fogging on mornings.
You wash up.
Sleep.
The next day, you wake for breakfast, barely after the sun had broken the steel gray of dawn, now you witness the inn's courtyard in the day. Nobody is seated outside yet in such low temperatures, but you take a moment to look around and just soak in the ambience.
Uninterrupted.
When you finally turn towards reception, you notice a pair youthful girls at the counter. Both quietly smiling and unassuming. Calming, instead of the forced professionalism at other hotels.
There's something real here. A sincerity. A genuine kindness that permeates, perhaps from proximity to the monastery? Perhaps the unique historic district? Perhaps the owner and managers made it this way.
The girls check your breakfast options again, in case you might have changed your mind. You totter into the resturant, barely awake, but a fresh cup of nespresso hits you quickly, a familiar aroma from home in a land 12,000km away from home.
And then fruits.
Milk.
Toast bread.
Butter!
Sichuan noodles in the morning.
Exotic dumplings.
Eggs sunny side up.
By the time breakfast is done, you know you will be returning here again.
And again.

They were incredibly efficient and helpful, going above and beyond to arrange the delivery of my converter to my current hotel. I really appreciated their prompt and thoughtful service.

3) Hotel staff speak minimal English but they do understand it albeit not able to converse freely. Naturally using PTH is best.
4) Staff in the entire hotel are very friendly, courteous, pleasant and accommodating, trying to help in any way possible.
5) Bespectacled night manageress in a black suit was very welcoming and sweet. She offered to upgrade us when the room originally assigned for us was not as quiet as we had requested when we booked it. She led us to see the original one ( 2/F )and the other one ( the quieter one on 3/F ) and let us choose.
6) The upgraded room ( 3/F ) was a suite and it was really nice --- very quiet with courtyard view and tasteful lay out.
7) Cannot praise enough for the delightful suite -- spacious and elegant ; super clean ; smells nice , refreshing and just right not overwhelming ; white crispy bed linen ; daily turn down service; endless supply of fresh bottled water on daily basis ; spotless tumbler and fresh bottle of water by the bedside table every evening; everything you touch is spotless ; wooden flooring matching Chinese wooden furniture in simple design giving out this classy Chinese feel ; free to consume anything for the 1st time in the mini bar ; tea & coffee replenished daily ; kettle and coffee machine; free stationery like scissors, stapler, clips, pencil and pens etc; toiletries like vanity set, combs, toothbrush etc replenished daily ; spacious bathroom with double wash basins and clean white towels ; wash basins in rose gold but not tacky; shower drainage not smooth on 1st night but they fixed it and no prob thereafter ; water pressure from shower was good and plenty of marble top inside shower room for your own toiletries ; bathtub with fresh rose petals on 1st night and various types of bath salt ; big screen to watch telly while in tub ; separate toilet near living room; ample wardrobe space and power operated blinds and black out blinds. They provide steam iron on request but it would be better to have a proper flat iron if you want to press pants and other thicker harder material. Steam iron is only good for silk or plain cotton. Even linen is better with a flat iron.
8) This is a 100% Chinese ambience hotel from lobby to our suite but nothing is gaudy or ostentatious because everything is simple, no fuss, low-key, very clean, good architecture, functional and all colour combo is soothing to the eyes.
9) We ate at their restaurant the 1st night and food was ok -- dan dan noodles slightly overcooked so it was a bit mushy. Fried rice was a huge serving with fresh shrimps and nicely cooked. Tea could be hotter. Service was attentive, efficient and proper.

We arrived late past 12am, the person who picked us up came on time, however, a heads up would be well appreciated as the way to the hotel was a dark, unlit, small road. We were all alert and concerned about where we were heading. A real scare!! Other than that, everything is okay for a night stay.
