The B&B is located in a remote area, with few people around and a quiet environment, which is suitable for seclusion. For me, it is an advantage. However, for a parent-child trip with a four-year-old child, it seems that there are not enough places/activities suitable for children to play. And there are sometimes stray dogs outside, and even chase children. They are driven away by waving equipment, which casts a little shadow on my wife and children. 😅 The B&B is a Japanese-style courtyard with a sense of exquisiteness. The private hot spring pool in the room is large and the water flows quickly. I enjoyed it twice in two days. The baby also likes the B&B itself. However, there is a point that the lights in the yard are too bright at night, and the guests cannot turn them off by themselves, and the curtains cannot be completely covered. People with higher requirements for sleeping are quite dissatisfied with this. The quality of the food is quite high. We had barbecue once and ramen and bibimbap once (twice?), and we were all very satisfied. However, we have to stay for two nights in total, and we will go out to find a farmhouse when we want to eat something different. Because we came here for Christmas vacation, the boss also prepared a fireworks event at the camp opposite, and everyone had a lot of fun. I feel that the boss is very attentive in running the homestay. The service staff are very nice and responsive. The lady at the front desk is very friendly and enthusiastic. Although we didn’t have much luggage when we checked out, she insisted on sending it to the parking lot for us. Another bonus question: Chongming’s suburbs have little light pollution, so you can stargaze at night.
