The service here is truly excellent; I've stayed many times, and each experience has been fantastic. The hotel offers a shuttle service to Disney, which is very well-arranged in advance. In the evenings, they provide complimentary supper with options like wontons, noodles, and congee. They now also have a gym and a self-service laundry room, which are incredibly comprehensive and well-equipped. Plus, it's very close to Wanda Plaza. Highly recommended!

XingzoudeyuiiiUnexpectedly, my trip to Shanghai coincided with a typhoon, completely disrupting my plans. I ended up spending most of my time at the hotel, but my stay was surprisingly excellent! The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and I slept very well. The location is superb, making it easy to get around by taxi. The service was attentive and thoughtful, and the hotel was quiet and peaceful. Even with the rain, I felt completely at ease in my room. The facilities are comprehensive, and the cleanliness is well-maintained. Overall, it was a fantastic stay. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Shanghai, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

First off, the front desk service was excellent. Most importantly, they offer airport shuttle service, which saved us the hassle of finding a taxi in the scorching heat – super convenient! All you have to do is call the driver after collecting your luggage. The shuttle runs every hour, and for trips to the airport, you just need to book in advance with the front desk. My only suggestion is that upon arrival, it would be helpful if the driver could specify which terminal we've reached, to avoid getting off at the wrong one. My family and another family actually got off at the wrong terminal this time, but thankfully we asked the driver and got back on the bus.
Now for the room: it was a decent size, clean, and tidy, with no strange odors. The bathroom decor was a bit dated, probably a few years old, but the shower drain wasn't clogged. The bed was great, a 1.8-meter bed that was very comfortable to sleep in. Breakfast was simple, not many options, but sufficient for a quick bite. The hotel is quite far from the city center, over an hour's drive, and taxis are expensive. However, it's perfect for those catching a flight the next day!
Overall, I personally think this hotel offers great value for money, especially for travelers on a layover.

Guest UserChecked in on Monday and got an upgrade to a lake-view king room. Our butler, Bob, contacted me via WeChat a day before with all the important details, which was really thoughtful. The hotel is very family-friendly, with both indoor and outdoor pools. The outdoor pool even has a 'trumpet' slide, and the view from there is amazing, as you can see in the picture. The kids played all afternoon. In the evening, we went ziplining and they did it three times! Breakfast was also decent. We stayed two days and one night, and there was plenty to do right at the hotel.

The room overall was pretty good and very comfortable. The cleaning staff came every day to tidy up, and the hygiene was excellent. Room facilities were mostly fine. The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and if a drink ran out, they'd proactively ask and refill it. The shuttle bus to the airport was punctual, and the front desk even gave a reminder call fifteen minutes beforehand. Within a one-kilometer radius, there's a Metro Line 2 station and a Bailian shopping mall, plus some other shops and convenience stores nearby, which is super convenient.

Anonymous UserI booked this room for a client during a busy exhibition period when rooms were scarce. Luckily, I met Elio from Guest Relations at the front desk, who helped me with the Ctrip booking. His service was excellent and very patient! My client mentioned that even though the hotel is a bit older, all the facilities are comprehensive, including the largest gym, an indoor pool, and three restaurants. Maintenance is also very good, though there's a lack of power strips. Checking out, I encountered Elio again, and he smoothly processed the invoice for me! My client was very satisfied and had a great productive stay!

I could admire Shanghai's vibrant cityscape right from my bed. The service was incredibly attentive; every staff member had a warm smile and responded to requests super fast. The biggest surprise was that takeaways could be delivered directly to the room, which is perfect for a lazy person like me. From the view and service to the small details, everything was impeccable. Definitely worth another visit!

IchliebedenRegenI've been coming to Shanghai for business for years, and the Grand Hyatt Jin Mao has always been my preferred hotel. I remember 20 years ago, it was the tallest building in the world and considered the top-tier hotel in Shanghai at the time. Even with so many new hotels opening up now, it still has its unique charm.
The location is absolutely unbeatable, right in the heart of Lujiazui. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer an incredible view – the towering skyscrapers of Lujiazui, the Huangpu River right before your eyes with boats slowly passing by, the Oriental Pearl Tower practically within reach, and the Bund visible across the river. You truly feel immersed in all this prosperity.
There are many attractions and shopping malls nearby, making dining, shopping, and getting around incredibly convenient. As an established five-star hotel, it feels very reliable and comfortable. Highly recommended for business trips.

Posted on May 20, 2026|Light Luxury Yiju Double Bed Room
Guest UserMy husband and I decided on Shanghai Disneyland for our May Day honeymoon, and choosing the Guyiju Hotel truly doubled the happiness of our fairytale getaway! It was stress-free and wonderfully relaxing from start to finish, so I absolutely have to write a detailed, glowing review to recommend it to every couple planning a Disney honeymoon!
First, let's talk about the most crucial aspect: its location and shuttle service. This is truly a godsend for Disney visitors! The hotel is only about a 20-minute drive from Disneyland, and best of all, they offer a complimentary dedicated Disney shuttle service. We checked in the day before and reserved the 7:30 AM shuttle with the front desk. The next morning, it departed promptly, taking us right to the park entrance. No rushing for the subway, no hassle with taxis, and we even had time for breakfast before heading out – perfectly suited for the relaxed pace of a honeymoon. After watching the spectacular fireworks show at night, there was no squeezing through crowds or worrying about finding a taxi; we simply took the hotel's return shuttle back. It was effortless and reassuring the entire time, making it incredibly convenient for honeymooning couples.
Next, I have to praise the hotel environment and room experience – it was romantic and elegant, perfectly capturing the honeymoon vibe! Walking into the hotel, the common areas were tidy and tasteful, with refined details that made for great photo opportunities. Our room was spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The bedding, changed for each guest, was soft and skin-friendly; lying on it, our fatigue instantly melted away. The bathroom had a dry/wet separation, stable water pressure, and plenty of hot water – a hot shower after a long day at the park was incredibly therapeutic. The smart facilities in the room were also a huge plus: automatic curtains, a Bluetooth speaker, and welcoming music, combining technology with warmth. Lying in bed with my husband at night, listening to soothing music and recounting our sweet moments at Disneyland that day, the atmosphere was absolutely perfect.
What touched us most was the incredibly warm and thoughtful service, truly embodying their motto of 'caring warmth, heartwarming service'! From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff were enthusiastic and patient, with gentle smiles. They efficiently processed our check-in, and even thoughtfully provided us with Disney touring tips, shuttle times, and proactively reminded us about the significant temperature difference at night in Disney, advising us to dress warmly. During our stay, any issues we had were addressed promptly and attentively. One evening, after returning from Disney tired and hungry, and not wanting to go out for food, the hotel's vending machine was a true 'lifesaver' – offering drinks, instant noodles, and snacks. These thoughtful details made our honeymoon journey full of感动. There's also a supermarket, a 24-hour convenience store, and several restaurants nearby, so if you wanted a late-night snack, it was easily accessible downstairs, making life incredibly convenient.
Finally, let's talk about the sweet experience of a Disney honeymoon, perfectly complemented by the Guyiju Hotel, recreating a fairytale romance! At Disneyland, my husband and I held hands walking down Mickey Avenue, watching colorful balloons ascend; we rode the carousel side-by-side, feeling the sweetness of childhood innocence; we challenged Pirates of the Caribbean and the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train together, holding each other tightly in thrilling moments; in the evening, we watched the parade, waving and interacting with Disney friends, doubling our joy; and at night, as fireworks erupted over the castle, their brilliant light reflecting in our smiles, we embraced and kissed. In that moment, the fairytale came to life, and our love overflowed. Returning to Guyiju Hotel was like coming home from a fairytale world to a gentle haven. The comfortable environment and attentive service ensured that every tired evening was softly healed, and every morning started with renewed energy. This May Day honeymoon, made magical by Disney's fairytale romance and even more so by the caring companionship of Guyiju Hotel, became one of the most precious and sweet memories of our lives. It offers incredible value for money and a full-score experience. Whether for a honeymoon, a romantic getaway for couples, or a family trip, Guyiju Hotel is an excellent choice near Disneyland! I've already made a mental note – next time we visit Shanghai Disneyland, we'll definitely stay here again, and I'll wholeheartedly recommend it to all my friends planning trips.💕
