Pudong Shangri-La, Shanghai

Wow! It was so hot that we didn't want to leave Shanghai, so we decided to enjoy the scenery by the Huangpu River. With both young and old in our family, we booked the Shangri-La. We originally had a room in the Pujiang Tower, but the front desk lady recommended an upgrade, and we ended up with a Zijing Executive River View Room. It basically included three meals! We could have breakfast on the 2nd and 29th floors with the Zijing Executive River View, and afternoon tea and happy hour at the Zijing Grand Hall. Next door is Super Brand Mall, a place where kids can play all day. In the evening, after a big meal, we could stroll along the riverside. On weekends, there's even a Kid's Zone on the 4th floor. We booked from Tuesday to Thursday, though, so we missed out on that. 😂😂😂 The pool is open from 6 AM to 10 PM, and the gym is 24 hours. The staff, both the ladies and gentlemen, were super nice. We'll definitely be back next year when we return to China. My mom said it was so comfortable and perfect for both seniors and kids. The buffet breakfast on the 2nd floor even had ice cream, which the kids loved! The housekeeping staff were also incredibly nice.

Arriving late in Suzhou, the hotel looked classic and luxurious. I chose a room with a view of the lake, and the view was absolutely stunning. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options as well. Although it wasn't a trip where I could fully explore the sights, the view from the room itself was incredibly romantic and a fantastic experience. If you have some leisure time, this hotel is definitely the best choice.

Lucas Song's service was incredibly thoughtful! My daughter and I arrived quite late at the hotel, but he upgraded us to a higher floor room with a view of the 'Three-piece Suite' (Lujiazui skyline) and even arranged a late check-out for us. It's super convenient to get to the 'Three-piece Suite' and Oriental Pearl Tower, just a few minutes' walk away. The subway station is also very close, and Line 2 makes it easy to go anywhere. For a trip to Shanghai, Shangri-La is definitely the choice – it's just so convenient!

Excellent stay! Our room had a fantastic view of the three-piece bathroom, and it was spotlessly clean. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and the swimming pool was also pristine. Everyone greeted us warmly, which was a lovely touch. Overall, it was a superb experience, and we'll definitely be back. The breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious, with a great variety of food.

Right by the Bund, which is great. The weather wasn't good, but it was still lovely to watch the Bund and the rain from the room. Also, the wheel on my suitcase broke during the trip, so I ordered a new one to be delivered to the hotel front desk. The concierge even helped deliver it to my room, which I really appreciate. The Grand Club benefits are excellent.

An old-school five-star hotel with rooms offering Bund views. The Oriental Pearl Tower is right outside, and there are plenty of dining options downstairs. Maisie provided attentive and enthusiastic service. Highly recommended!

The room environment is great, and it's close to the Shanghai Art Museum, making it very convenient for getting around. Jamie's service was warm and attentive. The room was comfortable to stay in.

During the day, the river views are expansive, and at night, both banks are illuminated with dazzling lights. You can enjoy Shanghai's nightscape right from your bed – the view is unparalleled. The guest rooms are spacious, with soft and comfortable bedding. The soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a high quality of rest. The bathroom amenities are complete, and the cleaning is meticulous and spotless. From the concierge and front desk to housekeeping, the staff are polite, attentive, and respond promptly. The concierge even helped us book the free shuttle to Disneyland, making the whole process hassle-free. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, including both Western dishes and authentic local Shanghai snacks, all delicious. Overall, it exudes a sophisticated and grand 'old money' luxury feel. It's suitable for both family trips and business stays. This is a hotel worth revisiting when in Shanghai; the experience is absolutely fantastic, highly recommended!
