GGuest UserStayed at this hotel for a concert in Shanghai and had a great overall experience. First off, it's super close to the subway, which takes you directly to the Shanghai Stadium in just a few stops. The hotel's cleanliness was excellent; even though the bathroom was shared, someone was always cleaning it – I'd finish showering and someone would be in there mopping right away. The soundproofing isn't amazing, but it wasn't noisy at all. It's perfect for solo travelers attending concerts or events. Oh, and I found the front desk staff really helpful. Someone even personally escorted me to my room, and late check-out was also an option. If my good review could get me a discount voucher or something, that would be even better!

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's super convenient for both the subway and bus, just a 5-minute walk from Metro Line 2. There are so many great food options nearby – pan-fried buns, soup dumplings, yellow croaker noodles, you name it. The famous Ming Butterfly Pastries from the International Hotel, which always has a long queue, are also very close, making it easy to grab some. The hotel staff and cleaning ladies were all wonderful and incredibly responsive to our requests. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

GGuest UserClean and relatively new. Though located on West Nanjing Road, it offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. It's easy to find, just inside the Meilongzhen Hotel entrance, and has a very local vibe. Food and drinks are super convenient nearby, and you can even head to Wujiang Road. All in all, a very convenient and comfortable stay. The bedding was especially comfy!

GGuest UserThis time, our family of four, including my parents and children, stayed here, and the two beds were just right. The homestay is located in Lujiazui, very close to the Lujiazui 'three-piece suit' (referring to the three iconic skyscrapers), making it super convenient to get to all the attractions. The surrounding area has complete amenities, with convenience stores and restaurants open late, so you can always get what you need. Highly recommended for family trips!

XXiaoxiaozhichaGreat review! It's a loft with European-style decor, located in a Shikumen alleyway.
I loved the small courtyard, perfect for an evening drink. It was clean and hygienic, with one large bed, one small bed, and a sofa. There's a projector and a smart toilet, plus a kitchen fully equipped with utensils, dishes, and seasonings. A microwave is also available for heating food. The hot water and air conditioning worked perfectly. Disposable towels are available for a fee. There's also a washing machine and a drying rack, which is excellent and very convenient for longer stays!
The service was very good, and any issues were promptly resolved. It's not far from attractions like the Bund and museums. Sinan Mansions and Tianzifang are within walking distance, with the latter being particularly close and great for a stroll. The sheets and duvet covers were clean and comfortable. The sofa bed comforter was a bit thick, and the large bed's mattress was quite soft – I personally prefer a firmer bed, but everything else was great. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserThis particular room we got was only big enough for one person in my opinion. We however had a very comfortable sleep on the beds.
The staff was very friendly and the location was ideal.Inside the lobby area, you are able to make tea or coffee throughout the day.There are many restaurants and shops nearby. I would recommend this place.

__SN0W_Nice staff and location. Building built in 2009. A bit older. Needs renovation. Apartment smells of sewage most of the time. Bed was uncomfortable. Sheets were making me itchy, but it happens sometimes as my skin is sensitive. Washer dirty, so didn't use.

AAnonymous UserI brought my kids here for a summer vacation and initially booked for three days. We ended up extending our stay for another three days because we loved it so much! First off, the front desk lady was incredibly helpful and accommodating, always going above and beyond. Secondly, the location is fantastic. It's a 15-minute walk to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, and the Bund is only about 400-500 meters away. The Yuyuan Garden metro station is just 300 meters behind the hotel, and Yuyuan Old Street is about a 10-minute walk. This makes it super convenient for shopping, dining, and getting around. We've decided this will be our first choice next time we visit!

It seems to be an older establishment, so the facilities are quite basic, and the cleanliness is a bit lacking; there's a thick layer of dust on the window panes and frames. However, the bathroom has a water purification system, which is great as you can drink directly from it. For Shanghai, the price is quite affordable. It's also close to the railway, so you can hear some train noise.
