The room had excellent natural light, and the housekeeping was meticulous with no unpleasant odors. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm. 😁Superb stay!! + Location just short walk from People Square metro (Line 1) which is a very convenient stop that connects to many popular places + Old hotel so room is very spacious + Helpful friendly and very warm staff + Tip - the Cantonese restaurant 新雅粤菜 restaurant is a true gem!! Authentic canton food and IG-worthy interior + Our level 18 Suite room has a nice view!! + The Suite room has a separate wardrobe area which is really great + AC works well as it's summer time when we visited + Everyday housekeeping brings in many bottles drinking water 😖Improvement areas - There's no wall socket for the hair dryer inside the wardrobe area and the bathroom. So end up have to blow dry hair at the writing desk or bedside - Bath tub sink hole is not water tight so end we could not enjoy the tub :( - Some fixtures are too old and may fall off. Have told front desk and they expressed true apology

Bigger and brighter than I expected. Was also pretty clean in general but the windows were a little dirty. Big bathroom is a good plus. Also the service brought me a toothbrush with toothpaste, props to them (though there was a bit of a miscommunication/mistake with the front desk initially and didn't deliver until I went back a second time)
