Hyatt On The Bund Shanghai

Stayed at Hyatt on the Bund on the Bund side overlooking Pudong and the Huangpu River ✨ The view is 💯 especially at night when the skyline lights up. The room feels modern and elegant with the rounded wall edges giving it a soft luxury touch. Loved the Balmain toiletries too, definitely made the stay feel extra premium.

Thank you for the early check-in arrangement at 10:00 AM and the late check-out at 2:00 PM. It was greatly appreciated and made the stay much more comfortable. However, the concierge service could be improved, particularly in terms of courier parcel notifications to guests, as better communication would enhance the overall customer experience. The WC room should also be equipped with a water hose / bidet spray for personal cleaning after using the toilet. The installation cost would not be significant for a 5-star hotel and would greatly improve convenience for guests. In addition, the WiFi coverage throughout the hotel was very poor and disappointing for a 5-star establishment, significantly affecting the overall guest experience during the stay. On a positive note, VUE BAR offers a spectacular panoramic view of both sides of the Huangpu River, making it an excellent spot to enjoy Shanghai’s nightlife. However, the snacks menu could be further improved to better complement the atmosphere and overall experience. AROMA serves a wide variety of breakfast selections, while the comfortable Tea Room lounge offers both Chinese and international teas accompanied by a selection of French pastries.

Room was super modern, the facilities were top tier. The view of the pearl tower from our room was spectacular. The service and staff was absolutely superb. They were super kind, attentive and professional. Highly recommend this hotel

Overall the hotel is very clean and spacious. I like the he and she basins, which is not common for most hotels. The Hotel’s The Bund’s view is magnificent too! Had a great 4 days stay.
