Great location, next to metro people square just 5mins walk only Lots of local food around the conner. The room is nice, enough space for 1or 2 persons The water pressure is goooood Have xiaodu that can control everything by ur voice (in Chinese language)

I had a wonderful 2-night stay at this hotel. The location is absolutely perfect, right by Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street and very close to People's Square, making it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and taking the metro. The Double Bed Room A was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with great amenities like the mobile screen casting and a nice mini bar. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Shanghai!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My stay at the Jianguo Puyin Hotel (Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street Branch) during this trip to Shanghai exceeded my expectations. The hotel boasts a new Chinese Zen-inspired style, with an elegant and tranquil lobby – a rare oasis of calm amidst the bustling Nanjing Road. The location is superb, within walking distance to Nanjing Road and the Bund, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and shopping. The guest rooms were clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding. The soundproofing was good, ensuring a peaceful night's rest. The room layout was well-planned, the facilities were well-maintained, and the attention to detail was evident. The front desk staff were friendly and responsive, promptly addressing any requests with attentive and thorough service. The breakfast offered a rich variety of choices and tasted great. The self-service laundry and gym facilities were also very practical, which is a big plus for short-term travelers. Overall, the value for money is excellent. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Shanghai and will definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip.

The hotel is conveniently located near Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. Walking to and from the Bund was quite tiring on the legs, but there are plenty of restaurants nearby, making dining in and ordering takeout very convenient. The room had a smart speaker that the kids loved using for voice control. The breakfast selection was quite rich. The suite came with one king bed and two single beds, which was perfect for families staying together. Two complimentary breakfasts were included. My only minor complaint was regarding a water delivery: I contacted the front desk for water and waited over two hours, only to find out they had delivered it to the wrong room. When we returned from sightseeing, I told the front desk they could deliver the water, and they had my family carry it up themselves...

The room was newly renovated and very fresh. I forgot to take pictures of the room. The hotel's location is excellent, right downstairs from Nanjing Road, making it very convenient for shopping. I have one small suggestion: the quality of disposable items like toothbrushes and combs isn't what you'd expect from a five-star hotel. I've taken photos of the amenities from another five-star hotel I stayed at, and their quality was top-notch. Yours really needs an upgrade.

The room isn't huge, but the bathroom is quite spacious and functional. However, it's missing a retractable clothesline, which would be a useful addition. There's a small round table, and the TV wasn't used – it seemed to be disconnected from power. The door lock feels a bit flimsy, lacking an internal deadbolt. Also, the air conditioning is a central system. Even with outdoor temperatures around 25-28 degrees Celsius in the evening, setting it to 23 degrees didn't provide cooling or dehumidification. The view is good with a large window, but the screen is damaged and needs repairing. Another suggestion is to avoid putting the hairdryer in a black velvet bag; those bags shed a lot, and often I find myself having to wipe down and run the hairdryer to clean it when it comes from such packaging in many hotels. The staff were very good and responsive to guest feedback. You have to pick up food deliveries from the lobby, but that's acceptable.

However, because the location is so prime, space is at a premium, so the room size is limited. The TV is positioned in a way that takes up too much space, leaving almost no room between the bed and the TV, making it easy to bump into. 2. **Regarding the service:** The breakfast was good, and both the front desk and room service were excellent. 3. **Minor issues:** I suggest a thorough check of the entire building's air conditioning system. We were informed that there's central air conditioning and were advised not to use the in-room AC for energy saving and environmental protection. However, if you don't turn on the in-room AC, you'll be sweating profusely within minutes – it was 38 degrees outside and 30 degrees inside the room. But if you do turn on the AC, it gets a bit too cold. It's quite a dilemma. Also, the ventilation fan is a bit noisy. So, if you turn on the AC at night, it's cold; if you turn on the fan for ventilation, it's loud. If you don't turn anything on, it's too hot to sleep. I've stayed in other five-star hotels before where the room remained cool even with the AC off. I recommend addressing these issues.

This time we were on a family trip, but I feel the hotel is more suited for business travelers. **Facilities:** It's a five-star hotel, decent, not super new but not old either. Breakfast had a good variety. **Hygiene:** Also decent, quite clean. **Environment:** There's a constant fragrance throughout the hotel that I wasn't too fond of, but overall it was okay. It's quite close to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street and the Bund, which is great for an evening stroll. **Service:** I had originally requested a late check-out until 2 PM upon arrival, but the front desk seemed to have forgotten about it. However, a staff member called to confirm, and I re-explained, so the late check-out was granted.

Came to Shanghai for a weekend trip with my child and booked the Home Inn Plus (Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street branch). The location is superb, right next to Bailian department store, and not far from the Peace Hotel and The Bund, about a ten-minute walk. The twin room was spacious with windows that could open, offering good ventilation. The bedding was clean, and the bathroom was also very clean. Ordering takeout was convenient, and a cute robot delivered it right to the room. It's our top choice for trips; I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Shanghai!
