The location was absolutely fantastic! We could walk to Nanjing Road and The Bund, and there were many shops and restaurants nearby, all of which were delicious! The room was clean and well-maintained. All the staff, including those at the front desk, were incredibly friendly. If I visit Shanghai again, I will definitely book this hotel again—it offers amazing value for money.

Wonderful hostel located right in the heart of Shanghai. The room a bit small but modern with its own little fridge and kettle with some tea. The hotel was clean with good laundry facilities (no dryer however and the drying area was a bit small for the amount of clothes that had to dry, other people's clothing could drip onto your own by-then dry clothing which was a bit annoying). The thing I can't praise more though is the hotel staff's kindness and willingness to help: I'd been attempting to change our in-flight meals to vegetarian for days and it became necessary to call the airline with a Chinese speaker, the desk clerk was so kind as to help me for the full 30 min it took to get an English speaking staff from the airline on the phone. I cannot sing enough praises to the hotel's service because of this :)

We really enjoyed our stay here! The hotel is in a great location, making it very convenient to get around Shanghai. The hotel staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. We also appreciated the thoughtful anti-slip design in the bathroom, especially when travelling with children. During our stay, we bought quite a lot of items from Taobao 😄 and had them delivered directly to the hotel. All of our parcels were well received and handled by the hotel, which made everything very convenient for us. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to other travellers and families! 👍

Riding the coattails of Typhoon 'Bai Haitun' (White Dolphin) as it just left Shanghai, I planned this summer's Shanghai museum tour, intensely visiting the Shanghai Natural History Museum, Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, Shanghai Museum (East Hall), and Shanghai Museum (People's Square). I also took the opportunity to browse the Shanghai Postal Museum, Nanjing Road, and the Bund, walking 20,000 steps daily. During this trip, my biggest relief was choosing the right hotel. This is a newly opened hotel near Nanjing Road and People's Square, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. The hotel facilities are new and modern, and the breakfast selection is quite rich. Its location is the most noteworthy: directly opposite is Shimao Plaza and New World, and a short walk further takes you to Nanjing Road. Subway lines 1, 2, and 8 surround it, making it incredibly convenient to explore and dine out. The hotel staff were friendly, polite, and attentive. Although it rained on and off during this trip, the hotel's warm smiles dispersed any gloom. Highly recommended!

Nice hotel. Great location. The breakfast was very good with many options, including Chinese food, fruits, cereals, pastry, etc. Room is spacious for two persons (we are a couple with a baby). Only drawbacks were wifi (could not make it work during the whole stay but didn't bother to complaint about it because we were using a eSIM with unlimited data) and no closet/wordrove to leave the clothes in. There were a few places to place some clothes and stuff but were all reachable by our 2 year son and it would have been a mess if he got to put s hand on them. Overall we had a great time in this hotel. I recommend it.

Located in a prime downtown spot, it's convenient for getting anywhere. Downstairs is very lively with restaurants, a food street, and a shopping complex all in one. During weekdays in summer, there were many foreign guests... and quite a few elderly Chinese too. The front desk often had queues for check-in, and there were always people waiting for taxis outside. Business was really good, yet the room offered excellent value for money! Thanks for the free upgrade to a deluxe suite~ It was newly renovated. I was on a business trip and decided to bring my mom along so she could relax and enjoy herself. **Facilities** They offer a table tennis room, a swimming pool, and a gym. No robots for food delivery pick-up though. **Hygiene** Clean. **Environment** The overall environment is good. The old five-star hotel is very well maintained; it doesn't feel old or dated. The room was newly renovated, but the sense of space wasn't huge, and the bathroom was a bit small. **Service** The service attitude was excellent and professional.

Although the room wasn't very big, it was fully equipped, clean, and had a free minibar. Breakfast was satisfying and delicious. The service was warm and attentive, and they were able to meet almost all our requests. The location is excellent; Nanjing Road is right downstairs, so late-night shopping was no problem. The Bund is less than a ten-minute walk away, and the subway is just a five-minute walk, making getting around super convenient. All in all, it was a very satisfying trip, thumbs up! 👍

The hotel boasts an excellent location: Xintiandi, the largest Starbucks, the Bund, and Jiefangbei are all within walking distance. The sheer scale and beauty of the lobby are immediately impressive. The breakfast spread was superb – truly enjoyable with something for everyone. The rooms are spotless and well-maintained, though the interior design feels a bit dated (for instance, it took some time to figure out how to switch the water from the faucet to the shower). We were also surprised by the very old model of television, which seemed quite unexpected. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay at the hotel.

Staying at this hotel was a pleasant experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bedding was of high quality, ensuring a great night's sleep. The staff were warm, attentive, and responsive. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options and tasted good. Overall, it's excellent value for money and highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers who prioritize sleep quality and service. Plus, its prime location right next to Nanjing Road is a huge bonus.

My stay this time was exceptional, and I particularly want to commend Selina at the front desk! From the moment I checked in, the entire process felt incredibly comfortable. Her service wasn't just formulaic politeness; you could genuinely feel her thoughtfulness and sincerity. When checking in, she first asked if I was interested in a room upgrade and even took me to see the room beforehand, letting me decide only after confirming I liked and was satisfied with it – this was a huge plus. Throughout my stay, she patiently helped resolve any issues I had, making me feel secure and comfortable during my travels. Honestly, beyond the environment, facilities, and the room itself, the impression staff leave on guests is incredibly important. Selina's service truly added so much to the entire hotel this time, and she left me with a fantastic impression of the place. I hope that next time I visit, I'll encounter more staff as sincere and thoughtful as Selina 😊 Additionally, the room was exceptionally clean and tidy, making for a very comfortable stay. The bellhop service was also very attentive, proactively confirming where my ride was parked. Many small details throughout the check-in process showed how much effort the hotel puts in. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit. Thank you for making this stay so enjoyable ❤️

I stayed for two nights, and the location is unbeatable – super convenient for strolling down Nanjing Road, dining, and shopping. Once, after washing clothes, I realized I had no hangers, so I just grabbed a few from the front desk. The cleaning staff tidied up the common areas every day, and the hot water supply was stable. There were enough power outlets by the beds. The only minor issue was occasional footsteps in the hallway, but drawing the curtain pretty much blocked it out. If you're on a budget and visiting Shanghai, this place is definitely worth considering. I compared several places, and when I left my umbrella behind on the subway, the front desk had kept it safe for me when I returned. Check-in was efficient, and they briefly went over the important points. The bedding was fresh and had no odd smells. You can also get hot water in the common area. You can't expect a hostel to be exactly like a hotel, but for this location and price, it truly exceeded my expectations.

Extremely satisfied! The hotel is right next to Nanjing Pedestrian Street. It's about 300 meters to the subway station and around 1000 meters to the Bund, which is super convenient. The staff were also excellent! Next time I'm in Shanghai for class, I'll definitely stay here again.

Great location, just a short walk from the pedestrian road in Shanghai. We were on a quick transit with a day trip planned, so we booked a 6-hour stay here to rest. Everything was good. The room was quiet and comfortable, and we got proper rest before heading out. Plenty of restaurants nearby, so we had a good meal before catching our midnight flight. Overall, a comfortable and convenient hotel — especially if you need a short rest between flights. Recommended.

This was my second stay at this hotel, and I’m just as happy with it as the first time. The hotel is very comfortable and is located in the heart of the Bund, close to shopping malls and many attractions, making it a great choice for shopping and sightseeing. I usually stay here for only one or two nights, but the location and convenience keep bringing me back. Getting around is very easy. The hotel is well connected to public transportation, and traveling from the airport is convenient. You can reach it by metro with only one transfer (or even a direct line from some airport routes), making the journey simple and hassle-free. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Shanghai.

First, the good points: The washing machine and dryer were super convenient, allowing us to wash our clothes during our trip – everything felt clean and tidy! It rained the day we arrived, so we were stuck inside, but the kids had a blast playing house on both floors. It's about a six-minute walk to the metro station, which is decent. The Bund is just a ten-minute walk away, perfect for admiring the historic architecture and the Oriental Pearl Tower, and experiencing the two different worlds along the Huangpu River. If you turn left out of the hotel and walk one block, you'll find a breakfast spot selling buns, porridge, and eggs at market prices. Now for the downsides: Don't expect much in the way of room service or friendly smiles from the staff.

I had a fantastic experience staying at the [Shanghai Yijun Hotel] during my trip to Shanghai! The location is absolutely perfect; the subway entrance is right outside, making it just a few stops to popular spots like Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street and Chenghuang Temple. After a long day of sightseeing, it was wonderful to come back to a spotlessly clean room with a meticulously made bed. The front desk staff, especially the ladies, were incredibly friendly and always greeted us with a smile whenever we entered or left. The price was very reasonable, and given the excellent service and cleanliness, it offers truly amazing value for money!
