"Li's Courtyard in Shuanglang AnYin was an absolutely perfect experience, well worth the trip! The guesthouse is nestled in Shuanglang Ancient Town, boasting a stylish, pure white, 'Instagrammable' design. The outdoor infinity pool directly overlooks Erhai Lake. Even on a rainy day, the distant mountains were veiled in a gentle mist, and raindrops created ripples on the lake's surface. Leaning by the pool, watching the lake and mountains framed perfectly, the ambiance was just incredible. Our room also featured a lakeside view bathtub, allowing us to soak and enjoy the prime lake view – incredibly relaxing. The complimentary afternoon tea was truly impressive, with a fresh and colorful seasonal fruit platter, rich and smooth chocolate mousse, two refreshing specialty fruit drinks, and crispy shrimp crackers. The ingredients were fresh, and the taste was spot on; my child was absolutely delighted. The butler service was thoughtful and attentive, and the common areas were kept clean and elegant. Opening the window revealed the breathtaking Cangshan Mountains and Erhai Lake. Li's Courtyard at Shuanglang AnYin is definitely my top choice for a vacation in Shuanglang. I've already recommended it to friends and family, and I'll be staying here again on my next visit to Dali!"

"The room was spacious with a stylish design. The smart room control system and motion-sensor night light made for a great stay. We were welcomed with fruit, afternoon tea, and even a white fungus soup. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, always ready to assist with anything we needed. This was the most comfortable and enjoyable hotel we stayed at during our trip to Yunnan. I even had a minor fall while cycling, and the hotel had an emergency first-aid kit to help disinfect and treat the wound, which was a huge relief. I would definitely choose to stay here again."

"We stayed here from 12–15 May during our honeymoon and decided to do our Yunnan trip entirely on our own. Dali was our first destination after landing in Kunming the night before, and it turned out to be the perfect start to our journey. Since our train arrived early at around 9:00 AM, I contacted the host a few days in advance to ask if an early check-in would be possible. Not only were they happy to accommodate our request, but they also kindly offered to pick us up from the station. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by our host, Mei, who gave us a tour of the property after check-in. The hotel exceeded our expectations. The architecture is absolutely stunning, from the outside, it feels like staying in a beautiful traditional palace within the old town, while the interior is thoughtfully modernized with every comfort you could need. Our room was incredibly spacious, and we especially loved the heated bathroom floors and the bidet, which was a pleasant surprise. There is also a rooftop area where guests can enjoy a beautiful sunrise view. Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. Guests are given several options, and parts of the menu change daily, which kept things interesting. What we looked forward to most every morning was the amazing yogurt served with homemade rose jam, it was honestly the best we've ever had. We mentioned how much we loved it, and at the end of our stay, Mei surprised us with a jar to take home. Such a thoughtful gesture! Every evening, the hotel served a warm dessert, introducing us to flavors that were completely new yet delicious. We were also treated to a complimentary afternoon tea. To make our honeymoon even more special, Mei and her team surprised us with a personalized cake, which was incredibly touching. The location is very convenient, with several Muslim-friendly eateries within a 10-minute walk, as well as convenience stores nearby. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the hospitality. Out of all the accommodations we stayed at during our Yunnan trip, this was by far the best. Mei went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, constantly sharing recommendations, travel tips, and local insights to help us make the most of our time in Dali. We genuinely felt cared for throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for honeymooners and newlyweds looking for a memorable and heartfelt experience. InsyaAllah, we will definitely return on our future trips to Dali."

The front desk staff, especially Chu Yi (初一), was incredibly warm and accommodating. Their service felt genuine and unforced, making me feel truly valued. I had a very comfortable and pleasant stay here, making it an ideal stopover on any trip. Highly recommended!"

"Overall, it's a great place! It's located on a slope, and the front desk upgraded us to a full sea-view room overlooking Erhai Lake. There's a restaurant nearby with good food, and for breakfast, you can choose between Chinese and Western options. It takes about 35 minutes to get to Dali Ancient City. The swimming pool would be great in summer, and the kids even did some crafts, led by a very patient teacher!"

"Facilities: The hotel is quite old, and its facilities are generally very dated. The treadmill, for example, was not working properly; it kept jerking erratically, making it feel unsafe to use, so I didn't bother with it. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was acceptable, but some of the towels were noticeably worn out. Service: The staff were excellent; their attitude and service quality were top-notch, and they were very patient. Environment: The general environment was only average, and the rooftop observation deck looked completely neglected."

"Absolutely stunning! The service was exceptional, and the cleanliness was top-notch. We were out during afternoon tea, and the owner thoughtfully saved it for us. The mung bean sweet soup they serve as a late-night snack was incredibly delicious! Can't wait to see what tonight brings! 😍 After check-in, they provide a guide and travel tips, and their WeChat responses are super fast – always online. When we needed the owner's help, the response was immediate, and they were there in a flash. But the most important thing is the breathtaking view; it's so beautiful it brings tears to your eyes. The location is perfect, situated between Haixi and Haidong, so nothing is far away, and it's especially convenient for the high-speed rail station. If you like great treatment and excellent service, choose this place. When you turn on the projector, it even plays a custom animated intro with their 'Xianyun' branding, and there's a safety card with their logo on it too. What's the difference between this and a five-star hotel? Just go for it!"

"Facilities: The facilities are complete, new, and all work very well. The water temperature and pressure are stable, and the mattress is just the right firmness – very comfortable to sleep on. Cleanliness: The room is clean and hygienic, with excellent natural light and ventilation. It's very quiet for sleeping. Spotless. Environment: The environment is elegant, and the common areas are very spacious. Service: The owner's service was warm and thoughtful. They even gave me a free upgrade to a larger room, making for a great stay."

"This has been the best B&B experience I've had in Yunnan so far! The room looks exactly like the pictures. The B&B is near Caicun village, and we stayed on the 3rd floor, which offered fantastic views. In front, we had the beautiful S-bend of Erhai Lake, and behind, large wisteria bushes and Cangshan Mountain. There's also an observation deck upstairs for even more unobstructed views. The room is spacious, with high-tech amenities and large floor-to-ceiling windows, so you can enjoy the scenery just by opening the curtains. I was pleasantly surprised that the water heater provided instant hot water. The courtyard is very clean, and the host even helped us with our luggage. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. (If you're driving, I'd recommend parking outside the village, as the roads inside are very narrow, making it difficult to pass oncoming cars and easy to scrape your vehicle.)"
