BBingbingle、The room was very spacious and well-equipped. The decor and design were fantastic. The renovation of the historic building is quite unique, and the courtyard is breathtaking. The housekeeping service was excellent, and any requests were promptly addressed. The breakfast was also delicious, featuring some unique dishes. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Yunnan.

GGuest UserI came to Dali with my mom, and after checking out some guides, I saw that the sunset in Shuanglang Ancient Town was beautiful, so I booked a sea-view B&B at Tinghua Island. It far exceeded my expectations, and we had a wonderful day and night! The room was beyond imagination; all the appliances and facilities were from high-quality brands. The B&B also provided many daily necessities for free, which was incredibly thoughtful. Besides the room, you could also see the beautiful Erhai Lake from the B&B's restaurant and the daisy swing garden! You could spend the whole day lounging at the B&B watching the clouds change. But what truly made our stay comfortable was the service from the butler and the B&B itself – so considerate! My mom and I needed to be dropped off at a slightly more distant parking lot, and the butler even helped us carry our luggage all the way there. They also offered afternoon tea and delicious lunch. I've said so much, and there are still so many photos to share! 😏

AAnonymous UserStaying at the Anyu Hotel in Dali Ancient City was such a delightful surprise! The overall ambiance is incredibly stylish, with a great design aesthetic that's elegant without being over-the-top. It's clean and comfortable, making you feel relaxed the moment you step inside. The location is perfect too – it’s peaceful yet close to all the action. We felt incredibly safe, as it seems to be right next to a military base. If you're an early riser, you can even catch the sunrise and watch the troop drills! This spot allows you to enjoy the lively atmosphere of the ancient city without being disturbed, and you can easily explore the city on foot. It’s incredibly convenient. We stayed on the third floor, which only has three rooms in total. On our first night, we were the only guests, giving us the feeling of having the entire floor to ourselves – ultimate privacy! It truly felt as comfortable as being at home. The common area on the third floor is also beautifully decorated, cozy, and full of thoughtful details. The whole floor made us feel like we were on a 'staycation at home.' The room even had a small tea room, which was a huge bonus! As soon as we arrived, my father and daughter couldn't resist sitting down to play chess. The atmosphere was so quiet and comfortable, truly embodying a sense of everyday life. The service was also exceptional. The staff were all incredibly nice, and their attention to detail was outstanding. We arrived quite late, and just before reaching the hotel, we got stuck in traffic due to a garbage collection truck. One of the female staff members immediately came out to meet us and help with our luggage. It was really heavy, but she managed to carry it all the way back to the hotel and up to the third floor! Even though she must have been exhausted, she still happily introduced us to everything and got us settled. Every evening, they prepared a 'good night' snack, which added a lovely touch of ceremony. The afternoon tea was also exquisite, both visually appealing and delicious. And the breakfast was tasty – simple yet thoughtfully prepared. My favorite part was the balcony on the third floor. Sitting there, enjoying the view and the breeze, was incredibly therapeutic. It perfectly encapsulated the slow pace of life in Dali. Upon checking out, they even gave us a thoughtful portable cup as a parting gift. It was a small gesture, but it really made us feel appreciated. Overall, this is a hotel I would definitely want to return to. It’s perfect for a relaxing getaway.

GGuest UserI rarely write reviews, but I simply couldn't resist for this hotel – it's absolutely exceptional in every single aspect. The complimentary airport and train station transfers are a huge plus, and the service is incredibly warm and enthusiastic. They proactively help with all your luggage, big or small. The transfer vehicles are also very comfortable and spotless. Upon check-in, everything in the room is free except for the red wine – instant noodles, drinks, beer, water, coffee, yogurt, and Yunnan black tea are all complimentary. They bring a generous amount of fresh fruit daily, and there's 24-hour rice noodle service, which is a lifesaver for anyone not accustomed to local food; you'll never go hungry. Every evening, there's also tremella soup available. The front desk even has complimentary snacks, fruits, and flower cakes for guests to enjoy. And the room itself? Speechless. The videos and photos on their website are an exact, 1:1 representation of the actual rooms – absolutely no photo trickery. What you see is precisely what you get. The room is impeccably clean, and the array of amenities is extensive. My parents are usually quite picky about hotels, but they absolutely adored this one, praising everything from the room facilities to the balcony views and the spaciousness of the suite. They insisted that on their next trip to Dali, they must stay here again. And most importantly, the staff – from the front desk to the transfer drivers, the F&B team, the ladies who help with luggage, the gentlemen who deliver rice noodles and tremella soup at night, and the three cleaning ladies – everyone is incredibly polite, enthusiastic, and friendly. The owner of this hotel is truly fortunate to have assembled such a fantastic team. The hotel's location, combined with the suite facilities and the wonderful staff, makes for a top-tier experience. I wholeheartedly recommend that everyone visiting Dali *must* stay at this hotel at least once – it's absolutely worth every penny!

HHermesukMy stay at Dali Yunjinyue Hotel was absolutely perfect – a super positive review is a must! * **Five-Star Service:** The hotel's service awareness is outstanding. From the moment I stepped through the door, I felt the staff's meticulous care. They were not only enthusiastic but also incredibly responsive to all my needs, professional, and thoughtful, making me feel right at home. * **Living Environment:** The hotel's overall ambiance is fantastic. The rooms were spotless, and the decor had a very high-quality feel. It was incredibly quiet and comfortable for resting, allowing me to fully relax. * **Attention to Detail:** From the quality of the breakfast to the design of the common areas, everything reflected the hotel's dedication and thoughtfulness. **Summary:** Whether it's the facilities or the soft services, this hotel has perfected everything. Staying at such a high-standard hotel in Dali truly enhanced my trip. I highly recommend it to all friends visiting Dali – you can book without hesitation, you won't be disappointed!

AAnonymous User1. **Check-in Area:** The check-in counter, or front desk, was quite shabby. The computer keyboard was practically caked in grime, and don't even get me started on the sofa next to it – it looked very unhygienic. 2. **Dining:** The breakfast area was a bit cramped, with just four small tables by the street. If you're a party of more than two, you'd have to sit separately, or you might even have to stand and wait for a table. The coffee, however, was good. I only had breakfast once: a cold quinoa salad (see Photo 6) served with bread that had an overpowering artificial creamer flavor. I had been looking forward to the rice noodles for the next day, but serving didn't start until 8:30 AM, which was far too late for my rumbling stomach. Early risers and those who prefer hot meals should seriously consider other options or make alternative arrangements. 3. **Room (2nd floor) - Noise Issues:** Don't even think about getting any sleep at night. After 11 PM, there was still noise along the street, along with the clanging of the garbage truck. (Seriously, I'd strongly advise against staying in the Old Town.) The next day, it started pouring before dawn, and the sound of the heavy rain kept me awake as well. 4. **Room - Facility Issues:** The room I stayed in was supposedly the quietest in the entire hotel. It featured a large bathtub and a bathroom where the toilet and shower area lacked wet/dry separation. Unable to deal with the wet floor, I decided to shower in the bathtub. That's when I discovered Problem #1: the glass partition was completely transparent, with no curtain or frosted glass. The staff member claimed this was 'design.' Then came Fatal Problem #2: the bathtub had no running water, haha! 😄 5. **Room - Odor Issues:** Upon entering, there was a strong musty smell. The staff claimed it was due to 'raw wood,' but it's been 8 years and it still smells like that? Quite amusing. 6. **Staff (Pre-Check-in):** Before I even checked in, they asked me to cancel my booking on the platform and pay them privately for a discounted rate. I have this in writing. This is definitely a huge red flag, and I'm surprised they even dared to suggest it. 7. **Staff (General):** The individuals themselves were nice enough, but I was surprised to find that all the 'Jixiashan' staff were quite young, without uniforms, and seemingly without direct supervision, which gave a very disorganized and casual impression. 8. **Housekeeping:** I was quite satisfied with the housekeeping. Seeing the clean duvet and towels gave me peace of mind (P.S. the pillows were also comfortable). The hotel's facilities are very old; no matter how clean the bathroom tiles were, they still looked run-down, compounded by the dim lighting. Therefore, I feel the housekeeping staff here really have a tough job. 9. **Building Structure:** One morning, during a heavy downpour, when I opened my 2nd-floor room door, the entrance was essentially flooded up to my heels. It was quite a feat that the water didn't spread into the room. At night, there were no lights, so I had to grope my way back to the room along the dark corridor. It would be quite difficult for someone who doesn't remember their way (see Photos 1-2). 10. **Hotel Amenities:** One night, I heard the guest next door return, unable to open their door with the key, and had to call a staff member for help. They chatted for a bit outside the door before the staff member finally told the guest a 'trick': 'The key needs to be inserted a certain way, and the lock has a particular mechanism...' That's quite a struggle – needing a special technique just to get back to your room! 11. **Minor Details:** The room key had a very large, bulky leather tag attached to it. Absolutely no consideration for travelers on long journeys with limited luggage space. Who would want to carry such a bulky thing around? I originally had high hopes for the 'Jixiashan' brand. When I was in Shangri-La, I heard their Meili store had a collaboration with Kolon, which made me think they had good taste. This Dali Ancient City location is their first store, but it turned out to be such a low standard. Given the daily rate, I guess I understand why. This particular store cannot be found on 'Jixiashan's' mini-program; it's categorized under 'Wang Shenme Chuan Qu Le'.

DdavidzdfThis hotel exceeded my expectations! Perched on a hillside in Wenbi Village, Haidong, it offers stunning panoramic views of Erhai Lake and Haixi on the opposite shore. The scenery is beautiful day and night. The hotel was very clean, and the bedding was fresh and high-quality. They offered complimentary afternoon tea daily (with rotating selections) and a nightly sweet soup. The hotel restaurant was also quite good, clean, and refreshing. The hotel itself was very quiet, which I appreciated. The butler service was excellent – they were incredibly responsive and patient with all our requests. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Dali.

CcharlottemomoThis past May Day holiday, I brought my family to Dali for a vacation ⛱️ and chose this South France-style guesthouse located in Haidong, where we stayed for 5 days. From the moment our trip approached, the guesthouse thoughtfully set up a chat group with a butler who updated us on the weather and reminded us to pack appropriate clothes. Upon arrival, they helped us with our luggage and kindly informed us about afternoon tea 🫖 and late-night dessert 🍮 times, which was very considerate. The guesthouse is located in Wenbi Village, a popular spot recently, and it's not too far from the airport, making the location quite convenient. Since the village is on a hill and parking spaces are scarce, the guesthouse arranged for our rental car to be parked at a nearby resident's lot and provided a shuttle service for transfers. Traveling with a child this time, his favorite part was the large bathtub. Every evening, he eagerly looked forward to a milk bubble bath 🫧, and he also loved the Basque cheesecake for afternoon tea 🍰. If I were to offer some suggestions, it would be to provide baby slippers, toothbrushes, and toothpaste for rooms with children. Perhaps also offer some parent-child interactive activities, like making flower cakes, which would be an even nicer touch. Also, the breakfast could be a bit more varied; after staying for several days, it got a little repetitive, haha. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay!

LLucas6666Environment: Excellent, very quiet and comfortable, located at the foot of Cangshan Mountain. Service: Fantastic and attentive. Facilities: The room is spacious, but maintenance details could be improved. Hygiene: Balcony and window sill corners need attention, and the air freshener smells a bit cheap.

The mattress and pillows were so comfortable, making for a very relaxing night's sleep. Check-in at the front desk was super efficient, and the staff were incredibly friendly. It's also conveniently located for getting around. Plus, they offer thoughtful touches like a sweet nightly soup, welcome fruit, afternoon tea, and even travel photography services.
