The hotel staff were incredibly warm and attentive, and the location is excellent with a convenient shuttle service. The infinity pool and ocean views are stunning and highly recommended. The room was clean and spacious, and the 1.5-meter single bed was perfect for a solo traveler. I highly recommend the room with a private hot tub – it's the perfect way to unwind and enjoy your trip.

The sea-view room on the third floor offers a fantastic view. The restaurant next door is delicious, and within a ten-minute walk, you'll find Haidong Town with pharmacies, fruit stalls, and all sorts of local snacks, so convenience is not an issue.

I brought my child to Dali to relax after their exams, and we booked a lake-view room on the second floor. Initially, I was worried the view might be poor due to the low floor, but those worries were completely unfounded! The floor-to-ceiling windows framed the entire lake and mountains like a natural painting. We had a panoramic view of the clear sky, blue water, distant mountains, and green trees. The swing inside the room was a huge hit with my child; they spent half the day on it. We didn't have to rush our itinerary; we just slowly enjoyed the breeze and watched the shimmering lake, experiencing a rare, leisurely pace of life. The room was clean and bright, with refreshing marble floors, and opening the window revealed a healing lake view. My child completely relaxed and shed all the fatigue from exam preparation. The hotel environment is thoughtfully designed, tranquil and restorative – it's definitely our top choice for family trips. We'll be back for our next vacation!

We thoroughly enjoyed our three-night stay at Hidden Mist (listed on Trip.com as Santorini National Tide Sea View Resort). If you are looking for a relaxing stay with beautiful lake views, outstanding hospitality, and easy access to the Dreamland Resort area, I would happily recommend this hotel and would stay here again. Location: The hotel is located within Dreamland Resort on the eastern side of Dali, approximately 20 minutes from the airport, 30 minutes from the railway station, and around an hour from Dali Ancient City. We stayed near the Ancient City first before moving here, which I would recommend for anyone wanting to explore both sides of Dali. The resort is large, beautifully maintained, and very walkable. Complimentary golf cart shuttles regularly transport guests around the resort, while taxis are easy to arrange from the main entrance. There are quite a few staircases throughout the property, so it may not be ideal for guests with limited mobility. Service: The service was exceptional and one of the biggest highlights of our stay. Before we even arrived, the hotel contacted us by email and created a dedicated WeChat group with staff from different departments so we could ask questions or request assistance at any time. Everything felt organised, personal, and effortless. From the moment we arrived, a golf cart was waiting to collect us from the resort entrance. Throughout our stay, the staff regularly checked in to ensure everything was going well and genuinely cared that we were comfortable. The handwritten welcome note, housekeeping notes after each room clean, and staff asking what time would be most convenient to service our room were thoughtful touches that made us feel truly looked after. Although our booking only included a complimentary airport or railway station pickup, the hotel kindly arranged an airport drop-off instead because we had arrived from another part of Dali. This was greatly appreciated. Room & Cleanliness: We booked a room with a private garden overlooking Erhai Lake, and it was absolutely worth it. Waking up to the peaceful lake view each morning quickly became one of our favourite parts of the stay. The room and bathroom were spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained. Everything still feels new and exceptionally clean. The large soaking bath, with bath milk replenished daily, was perfect after a day of exploring. The shower had excellent water pressure. As someone with very long hair, I found the shampoo and conditioner a little drying, so I would recommend bringing your own. The secure WiFi was reliable and fast enough for both my husband and me to work during our stay. Breakfast & Dining: Breakfast was excellent, with a choice between a Western breakfast and a local Yunnan set menu. We tried both, and every meal was fresh, well presented, and delicious. As we had an early flight on our final morning, the hotel prepared a takeaway breakfast for us, another thoughtful gesture that reflected the level of service throughout our stay. Our booking also included complimentary afternoon tea with cakes and fresh fruit. It would have been even better if guests could also choose a complimentary tea or coffee. The room includes quality tea, a premium kettle, and a mini fridge, although adding coffee would be a welcome touch, especially in Yunnan. Facilities & Surroundings: The hotel has a convenient power bank rental station in the lobby, and Dreamland Resort is full of beautiful cafés, viewpoints, and photo spots. Flomis Garden is less than a five-minute walk away, making it incredibly convenient for visitors. Our booking also included a traditional tea ceremony experience, which unfortunately we did not have time to attend. We also received a beautiful woodblock print as a farewell gift, which was a lovely surprise. Overall: Hidden Mist combines beautiful accommodation with genuinely outstanding hospitality. Location: The hotel is very close to the airport, making it a great choice for your first or last night. Dining: While the surrounding amenities are a bit lacking, the hotel's own restaurant is excellent for both breakfast and lunch. Lunch is also reasonably priced and tasty. Service: The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful, always ready to answer questions and resolve any issues. A special shout-out to them for helping me retrieve my umbrella, which I'd left in a taxi, and mailing it to my new guesthouse – truly above and beyond! Many thanks! Environment: My child loved seeing the fish inside the room – it's a perfect alternative to Atlantis!

【Convenient Travel】Airport transfer (choose one) or airport/high-speed rail station transfer for stays of two consecutive nights (choose one of four): It's only a 10-minute drive from the airport, which is super convenient. Plus, the lady at the front desk was waiting for me early in the morning to drive me, which was very thoughtful. Facilities: The room facilities really offer great value for money. There's a mini-fridge, a Laifen negative ion hairdryer just like the one I use at home, and the central air conditioning heats up very quickly! Environment: The Erhai Lake is right outside, so I watched the sunrise in the morning, had breakfast, and felt fantastic.

Songyun Banshan Hotel is an absolute gem in Dali! Its hillside location offers incredible advantages, boasting stunning mountain and sea views. The infinity pool and observation decks provide picturesque scenery everywhere you look, with the sunset being particularly breathtaking. A special shout-out to our butler, Allen; his service was meticulous and attentive. He made check-in efficient, thoroughly explained the hotel's amenities, and gave us many practical travel tips. The room was clean and bright, and the panoramic floor-toceiling windows offered a fantastic viewing experience. The overall atmosphere was tranquil and comfortable, and the captivating scenery combined with Allen's warm service significantly enhanced our travel happiness. It's great value for money and I've already recommended it to friends. The only minor drawback is that the toilet needs an upgrade.

A hotel full of character right by Erhai Lake! Step out and you're on Huanhai East Road, with convenient underground parking. The stone flooring is absolutely beautiful, and the interior design extensively uses solid wood and natural stone, giving it a simple yet sophisticated feel. The public areas feature floor-to-ceiling windows directly facing Erhai Lake. The rooms are spacious, and the bathroom fixtures are meticulously chosen, allowing you to enjoy the scenery even while soaking in the tub. The service is thoughtful and discreet. It's a quiet and peaceful place, perfect for a getaway. Watching the lake and clouds from the room is incredibly relaxing. Definitely my top choice for a stay in Dali, highly recommended.

We were really pleased with our stay at the YueLianZhuang parent-child slide room. The kids absolutely loved the slide in the room, and we enjoyed the private hot spring bath. The room was spacious with a great sea view, and all the children's amenities were provided. The butler was very responsive, and the buggy service to and from the car park was convenient. The afternoon tea and goodnight sweet soup added a nice touch of ceremony. The rooftop view was incredible, with an infinity pool, swings, and a glass platform – perfect for photos, especially at sunset over Erhai Lake. Just a heads up, it gets quite windy on the rooftop, so make sure to keep a close eye on the little ones.

This is a really comfortable B&B by Erhai Lake. You can see Erhai Lake right outside the window, perfect for just relaxing. It's located in Haidong Town, and the drive from here to Shuanglang is the most scenic part of the环湖路 (Huanhu Road - around the lake road). The B&B's decor really suits my taste, and it's very clean. Highly recommend! 💯
