The hotel staff were incredibly warm and attentive, and the location is excellent with a convenient shuttle service. The infinity pool and ocean views are stunning and highly recommended. The room was clean and spacious, and the 1.5-meter single bed was perfect for a solo traveler. I highly recommend the room with a private hot tub – it's the perfect way to unwind and enjoy your trip.

Traveling to Dali with my family, choosing Songyun Banshan Hotel was definitely a hit. The location is excellent, making it easy to get around, and parking is convenient. The rooms are spacious with great natural light, and the wet and dry areas are well-separated, with a full range of toiletries. Both my parents and the kids were very comfortable. The hotel environment is tranquil, surrounded by lush greenery, making walks and admiring the views very pleasant. Our butler, Allen, was incredibly thoughtful, proactively looking after us, and the breakfast catered to both adults and children. The terrace offers expansive views, and watching the Cangshan clouds, the sea of clouds, and the sunset over the sea with the family created a fantastic atmosphere. The hygiene standards are strict, and service is prompt. It's perfect for a short family getaway, and I genuinely recommend it to families traveling with children. However, it's worth noting that this area is in Haidong District, which is a bit far from both Dali Ancient City and Shuanglang Ancient Town. The environment and scenery are exceptional, facing Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain, and the service is also great. It's located within Ideal Bang, which has a complete range of snacks, supermarkets, bakeries, and milk tea shops.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three-night stay at Hidden Mist (listed on Trip.com as Santorini National Tide Sea View Resort). If you are looking for a relaxing stay with beautiful lake views, outstanding hospitality, and easy access to the Dreamland Resort area, I would happily recommend this hotel and would stay here again. Location: The hotel is located within Dreamland Resort on the eastern side of Dali, approximately 20 minutes from the airport, 30 minutes from the railway station, and around an hour from Dali Ancient City. We stayed near the Ancient City first before moving here, which I would recommend for anyone wanting to explore both sides of Dali. The resort is large, beautifully maintained, and very walkable. Complimentary golf cart shuttles regularly transport guests around the resort, while taxis are easy to arrange from the main entrance. There are quite a few staircases throughout the property, so it may not be ideal for guests with limited mobility. Service: The service was exceptional and one of the biggest highlights of our stay. Before we even arrived, the hotel contacted us by email and created a dedicated WeChat group with staff from different departments so we could ask questions or request assistance at any time. Everything felt organised, personal, and effortless. From the moment we arrived, a golf cart was waiting to collect us from the resort entrance. Throughout our stay, the staff regularly checked in to ensure everything was going well and genuinely cared that we were comfortable. The handwritten welcome note, housekeeping notes after each room clean, and staff asking what time would be most convenient to service our room were thoughtful touches that made us feel truly looked after. Although our booking only included a complimentary airport or railway station pickup, the hotel kindly arranged an airport drop-off instead because we had arrived from another part of Dali. This was greatly appreciated. Room & Cleanliness: We booked a room with a private garden overlooking Erhai Lake, and it was absolutely worth it. Waking up to the peaceful lake view each morning quickly became one of our favourite parts of the stay. The room and bathroom were spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained. Everything still feels new and exceptionally clean. The large soaking bath, with bath milk replenished daily, was perfect after a day of exploring. The shower had excellent water pressure. As someone with very long hair, I found the shampoo and conditioner a little drying, so I would recommend bringing your own. The secure WiFi was reliable and fast enough for both my husband and me to work during our stay. Breakfast & Dining: Breakfast was excellent, with a choice between a Western breakfast and a local Yunnan set menu. We tried both, and every meal was fresh, well presented, and delicious. As we had an early flight on our final morning, the hotel prepared a takeaway breakfast for us, another thoughtful gesture that reflected the level of service throughout our stay. Our booking also included complimentary afternoon tea with cakes and fresh fruit. It would have been even better if guests could also choose a complimentary tea or coffee. The room includes quality tea, a premium kettle, and a mini fridge, although adding coffee would be a welcome touch, especially in Yunnan. Facilities & Surroundings: The hotel has a convenient power bank rental station in the lobby, and Dreamland Resort is full of beautiful cafés, viewpoints, and photo spots. Flomis Garden is less than a five-minute walk away, making it incredibly convenient for visitors. Our booking also included a traditional tea ceremony experience, which unfortunately we did not have time to attend. We also received a beautiful woodblock print as a farewell gift, which was a lovely surprise. Overall: Hidden Mist combines beautiful accommodation with genuinely outstanding hospitality. This hotel is located in Haidong, right by Erhai Lake. It's incredibly quiet and clean, perfect for a family trip. You can spend hours by the window each day, watching the lake change throughout the day. Jinshuo Island is directly across, with boats passing by. The hotel's breakfast features a delicious specialty rice noodle dish, along with a good variety of other options. Ideal State is just a ten-minute walk from the hotel, and the Erhai Lake环洱海巴士 (Around Erhai Lake bus) provides direct access to other attractions.

I brought my child to Dali to relax after their exams, and we booked a lake-view room on the second floor. Initially, I was worried the view might be poor due to the low floor, but those worries were completely unfounded! The floor-to-ceiling windows framed the entire lake and mountains like a natural painting. We had a panoramic view of the clear sky, blue water, distant mountains, and green trees. The swing inside the room was a huge hit with my child; they spent half the day on it. We didn't have to rush our itinerary; we just slowly enjoyed the breeze and watched the shimmering lake, experiencing a rare, leisurely pace of life. The room was clean and bright, with refreshing marble floors, and opening the window revealed a healing lake view. My child completely relaxed and shed all the fatigue from exam preparation. The hotel environment is thoughtfully designed, tranquil and restorative – it's definitely our top choice for family trips. We'll be back for our next vacation!

This is a really nice B&B, with a great environment and excellent service 👍🏻. Suggestion: I was woken up early in the morning by a commotion, thinking it was other guests taking photos upstairs. It lasted for over two hours. When I went up to investigate, I found out it was Yunnan Baiyao doing a live stream, with several people shouting ”1, 2, 3, go to the link!” Since this is an accommodation where people come to rest, I don't recommend hosting activities like this. It's very disruptive to guests. (The noise was incessant from 8 AM until check-out at noon, and it was clearly audible in the room.)

This time, my stay at this sea-view guesthouse in Wenbi Village exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offering an unobstructed view. Opening the windows, you're directly facing the entire Erhai Lake, with the distant Cangshan Mountains clearly visible. Each room also has its own small balcony, perfect for relaxing, enjoying the breeze, and admiring the view. Upon arrival, we received complimentary red wine, and American coffee was available all day. In the afternoon, there were exquisite tea snacks. The breakfast on the second day was authentic Yunnan rice noodles, which tasted excellent. We also got to experience tie-dyeing for free, which was a lot of fun. The most satisfying aspect was the service. When we had large luggage, the front desk staff proactively helped us carry it up and down the stairs. The guesthouse has a dedicated photographer, and you can book in advance for a free photoshoot. The courtyard, pool, and window-side spots all make for beautiful backdrops, and shooting the Erhai sunset in the evening creates an incredible atmosphere. The guesthouse environment is quiet and serene, ideal for a relaxing getaway. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Dali.

The stay was particularly comfortable, the location of the homestay was great, and it was very convenient to go out to see the Bohai Sea. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was very comfortable to sleep, and the public area was full of atmosphere. The boss and staff are very good and respond quickly if there is a problem. The overall experience exceeded expectations. I came to Dali to choose this one without stepping on thunder. I will consider staying next time I come. ✨

This hotel experience was absolutely fantastic, five stars! It's very close to Erhai Airport and offers a free pick-up service, making transportation super convenient. The hotel boasts stunning views; you can admire the beautiful Erhai Lake right from your room. The service is incredibly attentive, with staff who are warm and thoughtful. The biggest surprise was the dining: the homemade breakfast was prepared with great care, the afternoon tea was exquisite, and they thoughtfully provided complimentary fruit and cake, all of which tasted excellent. Room service was also very prompt, making for a truly comfortable stay. In summary, the environment, service, and dining are all impeccable. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dali, and I will definitely choose to stay here again next time!

This guesthouse is located high up in Wenbi Village, offering spectacular views. The customized breakfast options are limited but delicious, and the service is excellent. Since there's no elevator, the staff kindly helped with our luggage. The reserved parking spot right outside is very convenient. There's a shuttle service for going down the mountain, available on-call, and halfway down is a street with restaurants and bars, which is super handy. During the day, the surrounding area is full of popular photo spots, perfect for snapping pictures when the weather is good. All in all, I think this guesthouse is highly recommendable in Erhai. However, one thing I have to mention is that Wenbi Village might be too popular, as traffic jams are severe, so drivers should remember to allocate extra time. Finally, I'm very grateful for the small gift the owner sent; it's the thought that counts. I hope to visit again.
