Finally checked into the Cuncun Seaview B&B I've been dreaming of, and the experience was absolutely perfect! The B&B faces the entire Erhai Lake, and the rooftop terrace offers unbeatable views. Waking up to the 'orange sea' sunrise right outside your window is magical, with the shimmering lake reflecting the glorious morning glow. Every photo you take here is instantly Instagram-worthy, no filters needed. The staff's service was incredibly gentle and thoughtful. The public cafe has a fantastic vibe, and just sitting there feeling the gentle breeze from Erhai Lake is incredibly therapeutic. The room was spotless and well-equipped, with soft and comfortable bedding, making for a truly relaxing stay. The location is superb, just a few minutes' walk to Cuncun Pier, making it super convenient to stroll along the lakeside path. Overall, the 4.8-star rating is well-deserved. It's perfect whether you're traveling solo for some peace and quiet or as a couple. Watching the sea and sunset here, all your fatigue is simply swept away by the sea breeze. This is my top recommendation for anyone visiting Dali for a seaside escape. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip!

The moment I stepped in, I was pleasantly surprised by the stunning view of Erhai Lake. It was a joy just sitting in the room and admiring it. The hotel is close to Longkan Pier, and I absolutely loved the little garden at the entrance. Walking through the garden leads you straight to the ecological corridor. There are places to rent bicycles and e-bikes just a short walk away, making it super convenient to go to Longkan Pier for food and photos, or to cycle along the ecological corridor.

The young pretty lady at the reception is really a superstar! I left my umbrella in the DiDi transport and she volunteered to help me to call the DiDi centre to get in touch with the driver to retrieve the umbrella for me. She picked us up at the convenient store with buggy and helped us to carry our luggages. She knows we are foreigner and she helped us to make bookings for some of the places of interest which we wanted to go. She also helped us to book those electric bikes! She never hesitate to lend us a helping hand! We could tell how much she is committed to her job! She has indeed made us feel sooooo welcomed and definitely feeling home! Thank you very much for having us 妹妹！ I will definitely highly recommend this place to my friends!

The butler service was attentive and thoughtful, and the breakfast was authentic and delicious. Stepping out, you're right on the ecological corridor – it's quiet, comfortable, and the perfect choice for a vacation. Excellent value for money, a definite must-book!

Facilities: Very comprehensive! It's a shame I couldn't get a room with a bathtub, though. I really liked the marble design in the bathroom; it felt very luxurious. Hygiene: Very clean, and everything you could need was provided. They even had special detergent for washing underwear, which was a really thoughtful touch – I didn't even need to use the one I brought. Environment: Absolutely fantastic! We had a front-row ocean view, with an unobstructed view of the sunrise. There was a huge balcony, but we didn't really get to use it much as we were out exploring all the time. Next time, I'll definitely slow down and enjoy some coffee on the terrace. Service: The auntie and uncle were incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic. It was my first time in Dali, and I had no idea what to do. They gave us a detailed explanation, and the uncle was incredibly knowledgeable about the local culture and history, knowing which attractions had a long cultural background. If you're unsure how to explore or what kind of unique experiences you're looking for, they can clearly explain it and give great recommendations. Overall, it was superb! I plan to come back every year. If you walk north along the hotel, you'll find all the popular beachfront photo spots.

The location was incredibly convenient for catching the sunrise; we could watch it from our room every day, and the view was fantastic. We even got a room upgrade! Breakfast was good, especially on the first day, but after four days, it did start to feel a bit repetitive. The traffic nearby is a real issue though, as the alleys are too narrow and easily get congested. On the plus side, there are plenty of great restaurants in the area; every place we tried was delicious and didn't disappoint.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, just a few minutes' walk from the South Gate of the ancient city, surrounded by a food street. Taxis and food delivery services are easily accessible. The rooms are comfortable, and the bedding is clean and just right. I booked two rooms, and both mine and my children's were great; the bedding wasn't damp at all and felt very comfortable. The hotel's interior environment is fantastic, and they even provide free clothes for photo ops – my family was taking pictures until past 10 PM on our check-in night. The breakfast is exquisite, and the taste perfectly suited for someone from northern China like me; I'd have two bowls of rice noodles every day until I was stuffed! Finally, the staff's service attitude and enthusiasm were exceptionally good and diligent. This hotel is highly recommended.

The overall environment is particularly comfortable. There is a coffee shop near the homestay. You can also check in. The photos are also very good. The whole house is cleaned very neatly and there is no messy smell. Miss sister is also very humorous, the people are very good, the location of the homestay is good, but the peak season has to take a taxi an hour in advance, there are many people, (many places are difficult to take a taxi) There may be fewer singles, and you can see the beautiful scenery in the house. The light is very good. There is also a place to see the scenery on the roof. You can blow the hair, chat, and eat something with friends. It is very comfortable. Generally speaking, the experience of living in Dali is full, the rest is very stable, and many things are disposable items.

We took a taxi to the 'Sunshine Convenience Store,' and a staff member met us there to walk us to the guesthouse, which was just a few minutes away. Upon check-in, we were offered welcome fruit, breakfast, afternoon tea, and warm milk at night – you could really feel the thoughtfulness in every detail. There's also an adorable cat at the guesthouse that loves corn! The staff provided meticulous and attentive service, and the owner was very helpful in assisting foreign guests with their issues. Both check-in and check-out processes were efficient and convenient. After checking out, they even thoughtfully drove us back to the Sunshine Convenience Store. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I have the chance, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Let's be objective! If you're looking for an authentic, natural experience, come to Dali. If you want something modern, go to a big city! The most valuable area in Dali is along Erhai Lake, where it's clean, refreshing, and the scenery is beautiful. Right outside is the ecological corridor. Da Tang is in a great location, and the terrace is a highlight. The courtyard is tidy, and it's quiet and comfortable at night! In terms of value for money, I checked, and it beats all the surrounding places! It's a great spot to watch the sunrise, close to the ancient city, and accessible by car. A genuine recommendation!
