A very comfortable guesthouse. The owners were very welcoming; the owner was lovely, had a story to tell, and was very talkative. The whole family was very friendly and helpful, even helping with our luggage – thank you so much!! Actually, I wasn't really into the food in Dali this time, and was a little disappointed, but the owner recommended some nearby ”non-trendy” restaurants: Blueberry Fish and Ganggang Rice Noodles. They were within walking distance, delicious, and in a great location – right next to the March Street Market, and there's also a Lotus Root Shop nearby, which is great for browsing. It's also very convenient to walk to the Old Town. And!! Peach the dog is so cute! A chubby little dog, so adorable and easy to pet. He even got up later than us this morning, haha! Hope to see him again sometime!

The owner is very kind and welcoming, and the hostel is very clean. The room also has great soundproofing! However, I'd advise female travelers to avoid room 2002. There's a long-term tenant who has a terrible temper. She slams the door violently whenever she comes and goes, and she plays poker (Dou Dizhu) at 2 AM, which is very loud. If you try to talk to her, she'll just yell profanities. If it weren't for my leg injury and the fact that other rooms didn't have lower bunks available, I really wouldn't want to share a room with her. 😓

This is a really comfortable and cozy place to stay in Dali, highly recommended! I especially loved the sunny spots. The room was clean and tidy, and I had a very pleasant stay.

The staff are friendly and the location isn't far from Dali Ancient City. It's a wonderful place where guests can all gather together to eat and chat. If you're traveling alone or enjoy socializing and conversing with people, this hotel is perfect. In the evenings, there's true communication over a bonfire and beer. Everyone seems happy and full of energy. Thanks to them, I'm leaving with a lot of good vibes. I had planned to stay for two nights, but I finished sightseeing faster than expected and unfortunately changed accommodations to see the eastern side of Erhai Lake. If I come to Dali again, I definitely want to stay here once more.

This guesthouse in Dali Old Town has an amazing location, making it super convenient to explore the ancient city. The room was clean, tidy, and cozy, and the owner was warm and attentive. The stay was perfect – quiet, comfortable, and great value for money. This is definitely my top choice for accommodation when visiting Dali!

I was pretty satisfied with this stay. The owner clearly puts a lot of effort into running this hotel. The environment is also great, with a small courtyard in the back. The items inside the room are of high quality, and it's very clean. The front desk staff also recommended many tourist attractions to us.

Facilities: They provide disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair dryers, and slippers. Hygiene: Very clean. Environment: There are many 'qingju' e-bikes nearby, and it's a short ride to the ancient city. It's close to Sanyue Street, where you can shop and find lots of snacks and fruits. There's a pub downstairs, but the sound insulation is good, so it's not noisy at night. Service: The owner let me check in early and upgraded me from a 6-bed dorm to a 4-bed dorm. I was worried about not having bed curtains or private space, but the 4-bed dorm also has bed curtains. They provide disposable bedding (sheets, duvet cover, pillowcase) which you put on yourself, so you don't have to worry about cleanliness. The owner also kindly offered me fruit, haha! My luggage was a bit heavy, and the owner helped me carry it upstairs. When I left, they even helped me carry it downstairs and load it into the car. Many thanks to the owners! I had a great time in Dali; the scenery is beautiful, and the people are warm and welcoming.

This hostel is really fun! You can cook and share meals with other guests, and the volunteer staff are super interesting. There's a dedicated game room for playing Werewolf, mahjong, and they even have a projector. Sometimes at night, people play music, so you can sing along and chat.

The environment is good and the location is easy to find. It is close to the ancient city. There is also a washing machine and a place to dry clothes. It is more suitable for long-term stay

I think we got upgraded to a family room but we definitely didn't mind the extra space including a couch and table. They had a waterboiler and cups and comfortable beds with extra blankets, however the remote for the AC was missing and it got pretty chilly at night. Did not make that big of a difference anyway since the AC was located outside the bedroom. Small notice for foreign guests: It was very hard finding the place since the map didn't show the exact location and doorsigns we in chinese/ didn't match the description on trip.
