"This hotel was great! The location is right in front of the erhai lake, with one of the most beautiful views I have seen yet. Dali is a gorgeous city with lot's to offer, and I think this is a great location if you want to explore a bit more, not just the ancient city. I loved that in the reception they offer free tea (lose leafs, good quality) and have an entire tea ceremony table with everything you need to enjoy the view from the reception. My room was very clean, and they replaced towels and whatever was needed daily. The reception staff was very sweet. The shower had great water pressure and temperature... 5 stars for sure!"

"This hotel boasts an excellent location, just a few minutes' walk from the South Gate of the ancient city, surrounded by a food street. Taxis and food delivery services are easily accessible. The rooms are comfortable, and the bedding is clean and just right. I booked two rooms, and both mine and my children's were great; the bedding wasn't damp at all and felt very comfortable. The hotel's interior environment is fantastic, and they even provide free clothes for photo ops – my family was taking pictures until past 10 PM on our check-in night. The breakfast is exquisite, and the taste perfectly suited for someone from northern China like me; I'd have two bowls of rice noodles every day until I was stuffed! Finally, the staff's service attitude and enthusiasm were exceptionally good and diligent. This hotel is highly recommended."

It's also very close to the ancient town, just a short walk away, and it's quite lively there. Service: The service is absolutely excellent! They gave us lots of tips for sightseeing and even helped with our luggage. The dogs and cats also 'come to work' and are very friendly, not shy at all. Highly recommend!"

I stayed in a top-floor room with a view, and the scenery was quite stunning. Hygiene: The whole hotel is very clean; you can stay with peace of mind. Environment: It has an elegant and fresh ancient charm style. There are also three super cute cats: two silver tabbies and one Russian Blue. The silver tabbies are very friendly and love to be petted and held – super adorable! The Russian Blue is a bit less affectionate, but if you pet her just right, you can hold her too. Service: Absolutely top-notch service! You don't even need to plan your trip to Dali, the owner can help with everything. This is by far the best hotel service I've ever encountered. "I came with a friend's family, and we booked two rooms together. My friend accidentally chose the wrong date, so when they arrived, the hotel told them there were no rooms available for that night. The front desk lady was incredibly nice; she helped my friend store their luggage at the hotel and even assisted them in finding another place to stay. If it weren't for her help, we, being first-time visitors to Dali and unfamiliar with the area, wouldn't have known what to do. Seeing how helpful she was, my friend's family decided to move back to this hotel the very next day. The hotel environment is very quiet, and its location right next to the pedestrian street makes shopping and getting around very convenient. The room facilities are new, and it's exceptionally clean. I'll definitely come back next time."

I particularly loved the room's layout – it was spacious and comfortable, with a cozy sofa area that made me just want to relax and unwind after returning. The breakfast was also excellent, especially the flower pastries and rice noodles; I left feeling very satisfied. I really enjoyed the relaxed and laid-back atmosphere here. It was a very pleasant stay."
