This guesthouse boasts an excellent location, right in the heart of the ancient city. The main street is just outside the door, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and finding food. Despite being central, it's surprisingly quiet, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The guesthouse facilities are impressive. Converted from a traditional residence, the interior is surprisingly modern. The rooms feature smart toilets and thermostatic showers, with mattresses that are just the right firmness and pillows at an ideal height. The air conditioning heats and cools quickly and quietly. Even USB outlets and the master switch are conveniently located by the bedside, showing thoughtful attention to detail. The public area includes a rooftop terrace where you can enjoy views of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake, and even catch the sunrise in the morning. After a long day of exploring, you can relax and unwind in the courtyard. The environment is a definite highlight. There's an exquisite internal courtyard with a fish pond and several green plants, creating beautiful light and shadow effects when the morning sun shines through. The rooftop platform offers views of the ancient city's charming rooftops and the distant mountain silhouette, particularly picturesque at dusk. The decor is antique and elegant. Regarding hygiene, the bedding is pristine white and neatly arranged, with no odd smells. Even the corners are spotless. The bathroom has a clear wet/dry separation, with no water stains on the glass. The towels and bath towels are clean, soft, and white, and the individually packaged toiletries are sterilized, providing peace of mind. The public areas are also very clean. In summary, this hotel perfectly blends the charm of the ancient city with modern comfort. From the user-friendly facilities and elegant environment to the high standards of cleanliness, everything far exceeded my expectations. I will definitely choose this place again on my next visit to the ancient city and highly recommend it to friends.

I stayed for two nights and three days, and had a great experience, so I'm writing a review for future guests. First off, the location is super important, and this place is right inside the ancient city, not far from Erhai Gate. You can walk out and be on the main road in two or three minutes, making it easy to catch a taxi. We spent our days exploring the ancient city and came back to rest at night; it was so convenient to just walk back to the guesthouse without dragging our suitcases around. There are supermarkets and snack shops nearby, so it's easy to grab water and snacks. The guesthouse itself is a modern-style courtyard, just like the pictures online – clean and fresh. The hydrangeas in the courtyard are absolutely beautiful. On a nice day, sitting in the courtyard, soaking up the sun, and munching on sunflower seeds is incredibly relaxing. There's a tea table in the common area, and the owner will brew tea when he's free. If you're up for a chat, you can sit down and have a couple of cups; if not, there's no pressure. We booked a standard room with two beds. The room was spacious enough, and the soundproofing was decent; we barely heard any noise from outside at night. The bedding was comfortable, not that slippery kind of fabric. The room amenities were comprehensive; all the essentials for going out were individually wrapped and disposable. There were outlets on both sides of the bed, which was very convenient for charging. The owner was very friendly and approachable. We arrived around 10 PM on our first night, and he came out to help us with our luggage. When we asked about carpooling to Xizhou and Shuanglang, he gave us good advice and helped us contact a driver with reasonable prices. He didn't push any tours excessively, striking a nice balance. To sum it up, this place offers great value for money. It's clean, quiet, and well-located, perfect for someone like me who prefers a hassle-free and convenient stay. Recommended.
