We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing. What stood out most was the excellent service. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and responsive to our requests, always ready to assist with a smile. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely stay here again. The Honglongjing branch in Dali Ancient City is absolutely amazing! 📍 The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Honglongjing Pedestrian Street. Step outside and you're greeted by a gently flowing stream, and you can look up to see the Cangshan mountains. It's just a few minutes' walk to Fuxing Road, the main street, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and dining. 🏡 The ambiance is perfect! The Bai ethnic architectural style blends seamlessly with modern design. The courtyard with its flowing water, flagstone paths, and red lanterns makes every photo Instagram-worthy. At night, when the lights come on, the atmosphere is simply magical, giving off a 'Spirited Away' kind of dreaminess. 💁 The service is incredibly thoughtful! The staff are warm and professional, proactively offering tips on nearby attractions and local delicacies. Their attention to detail really shines through, like providing local snacks and complimentary tea. 🍽️ The overall experience is fantastic! Whether it's the comfortable rooms, the aromatic coffee at the cafe, or the authentic Bai cuisine at the restaurant, everything leaves a lasting impression. It offers excellent value for money. My stay at the Dali Shanhai Yunjian Hotel completely exceeded my expectations. It's definitely a hidden gem worth choosing if you're visiting Dali! The room was bright and airy with an excellent layout. The bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable, ensuring a perfect night's sleep without any issues. The wet/dry separation in the bathroom was very well done, the toiletries were high quality, and all the essential facilities were available. Everything was meticulously clean, making for a truly comfortable stay. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive. Check-in was efficient and quick, and the staff were patient and thoughtful. Whether I needed directions or tips for local attractions, they provided detailed answers that made me feel very welcome. Getting around and sightseeing was also incredibly convenient. The hotel isn't far from the Old Town or popular spots like Erhai Lake, so you can enjoy a peaceful stay without compromising your travel plans. Choosing this hotel for your Dali trip is an absolute no-brainer. The environment, service, and overall experience are all top-notch. The next time I visit Dali, I'll definitely choose Shanhai Yunjian again. I sincerely recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Dali!

This hotel boasts smart home features throughout, making everything super convenient and hassle-free. The environment is really quiet, which is surprising considering its prime location right inside the ancient city – absolutely no noise. I was pleasantly surprised that the room was cleaned daily; at other hotels, they usually don't clean unless you specifically request it or hang a 'make up room' sign. I actually thought I'd forgotten to message the front desk to clean it that day, but when I returned, everything was spotless, and even my clothes on the bed were neatly folded. The service was incredibly friendly and responsive. Definitely a five-star experience!

I've been to Dali many times, and each time I try a different guesthouse. This time, the platform recommended ”Yan Chuanshu Inn” based on my preferences, and I was drawn to it at first sight. It's located in the heart of Dali Old Town, in a relatively new area, and it's very quiet. What I absolutely loved was that the guesthouse has three adorable British Shorthair cats! Maikou is a chubby one who loves to lie on the floor and act cute. Tiechui is a Scottish Fold kitten, very clingy, and has the best personality. Gangdan is a British Blue cat, independent and very wary, lively and mischievous – as expected, you can only pet him when he's in a good mood [lol][lol]. Despite that, I still adore them, haha. My stay here was completely therapeutic because of the cats, and also because of the attentive service from the guesthouse owner. The owner has a great demeanor, and the service was impeccable. She helped me with my luggage and, knowing it was our first time exploring Dali, recommended some delicious and reasonably priced food spots in the Old Town [munch][munch]. Furthermore, the room I booked was really spacious, and the bed was huge – a Stressless brand, super comfortable! The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the overall cleanliness was excellent. The cleaning auntie tidied my room daily. The guesthouse courtyard has many flowers and plants, and the rooftop offers beautiful views of Cangshan Mountain ⛰️⛰️. I especially loved going up there in the evening. All in all, the accommodation I chose for this trip was truly wonderful. I think I'll recommend it to my friends next time～[heart][heart]

I wholeheartedly recommend Yuanlu Hotel. My entire stay was perfectly comfortable with absolutely no downsides! The location is superb, making it incredibly convenient for getting around, shopping, and finding food, without needing to stress about planning routes. The hotel itself is very new, and the guest rooms feature modern, smart facilities. They are clean, tidy, and comfortably laid out, making for a refreshing and upscale stay. The staff's service is attentive and thoughtful, responding promptly to any needs. Every small detail shows their meticulous care, making you feel completely at home. The breakfast quality exceeded expectations, with a wide variety of delicious options. I must especially praise the freshly ground handmade soy milk – it was incredibly fragrant, warm, and subtly sweet, clearly made with quality ingredients. The complimentary afternoon tea was an extra delightful surprise; the presentation was exquisite and refined, and the pastries were thoughtfully paired and just the right sweetness without being cloying. Enjoying tea and desserts at the hotel in the afternoon created a wonderful ambiance. It’s perfect for both solo travel and small gatherings. This will be my top choice for future trips!

The hotel's location is super convenient! You step right out onto Sanyue Street, and cross the road to reach Dali Ancient City. The bedding is comfortable, and the air conditioning is nice and quiet. There's even a dedicated attendant in the laundry room who washes, folds, and delivers your clothes to your room. The hotel clearly puts a lot of thought into providing excellent and convenient services for its guests.

位置很方便，離古城的西門沒多遠，逛三月街和北門菜市，三塔都很近，離蒼山也不遠，鬧中取靜，房間很乾凈，老闆服務熱情，民宿有電動車可以租，價格也合理，所以很便利，周邊吃飯也很方便，想要性價比高的可以閉眼入。

I first heard about this place on Instagram and thought it was so beautiful. Its incredible structure is just as gorgeous when you see it in person. The staff were very accommodating and attentive. It was so cool because they had a machine that translates different languages depending on what you speak. This was the first time I’d ever seen anything like it and found it very helpful as I don’t speak Mandarin. Breakfast isn’t included but you can purchase their set meals for 37 yuan and have it while looking out at the beautiful courtyard. If you need train station transfer, you can easily ask for it for 80 yuan per way which made my check in and check out process smooth. They also allow you to try on their cultural costumes for free. If you need hair, makeup and photography services than it’s 499 yuan. As a solo traveler, I decided to try it out. They were very nice, however I definitely struggled with the very white makeup since I myself am very tanned. In their defense they did their best with trying to give me something darker and in the makeup room it seemed fine. But with the different lighting outside and the camera flash, when I got my pictures back I basically had a ghost face 😞 The foundation also wasn’t applied to my neck and arms, so it was very apparent. I’ve asked the photographer to help standardize my skin so hopefully that helps whenever it’s done. You receive a total of 9 retouches photos as part of the package. However, if you prefer to do your own makeup or are traveling with others then they can take pictures for you instead. The place is very convenient for finding restaurants and if you’re primary goal is the visit the old town. It’s very close by, so I was able to explore easily and then return to the hotel for breaks when needed. Lastly, you can use their laundry machines and get laundry pellets for free. Ideally this is great. But I will say the drying part is dreadful. The instructions say to do the 2/3 rule. However, even when I followed and put a small batch of clothes in it never dried. I tried once for 1.5 hours, then again for another hour, and still nothing. That was probably the only real part that was frustrating.

The room was clean and tidy. It was really cold in Dali during the May Day holiday due to the rain, but luckily the air conditioning had a heating function, which was great! It's very close to the South Gate of Dali Ancient City, about a four-minute walk. The owner was incredibly warm and friendly, helping us carry our luggage both ways. When we left, they even gave us flower cakes!
