LLixiaobaoI was initially concerned that the Xiaomei King Room, which lacked air conditioning, would be hot and small. However, it was nothing of the sort – it was absolutely stunning, and the service was impeccable! My elderly companion did mention that the noise from duvets being washed at night made it difficult for her to fall asleep. Despite this, overall, we were very pleased. I had planned to visit the wetland park for the sunset, but a staff member advised there was no need, as we could enjoy the view directly from their property! They even provided a complimentary farewell gift upon our departure!

The moment we made the booking, the service desk was extremely responsive, addressing all our queries via WeChat.
Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by two staff members who waited patiently for us despite the chilly breeze. They efficiently took care of our luggage, ensuring a seamless check-in process.
The rooms offered breathtaking views and a refreshing breeze, further enhanced by the delightful welcome tea break snacks. The rooms were well-equipped with essential amenities, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches, including a projector that allowed us to enjoy a fun karaoke session.
To top it all off, the staff even prepared an early breakfast for us, which was truly appreciated.

GGuest UserThis guesthouse was recommended by a friend, and after staying for four days, we loved it so much we decided to extend our stay! The young men and women working there were fantastic, all very warm and helpful. They recommended great places to eat and fun activities, and even helped us avoid tourist traps. We were able to explore Dali in depth without much planning, thanks to them! We love taking photos, so we booked their scenic view room. The views were stunning, and the room itself was comfortable and clean. Housekeeping was very thorough during our stay. The room was well-equipped, especially the smart toilet which was super convenient, and the TV even had VIP access. Among all the places we stayed in Dali, this guesthouse was by far the most comfortable! The young man reminded us every day about breakfast, afternoon tea, and the goodnight sweet soup – such thoughtful service. They made different kinds of sweet soups for us daily, and in the evenings, we could even relax in the tearoom and chat with the young owner. It was absolutely delightful! The highlight of this guesthouse has to be the two Shiba Inus in the courtyard, one black and one yellow. They're so cute and lively. When we sat in the courtyard for a tea ceremony in the evenings, they would just lie obediently by our side! Cangshan Mountain is beautiful! Erhai Lake is romantic! This guesthouse is amazing! The dogs are well-behaved! The staff are so personable! And the environment is elegant! Highly recommended!

GGuest UserJust got back from 'Mogu House' B&B and I couldn't wait to share our wonderful experience! From booking to check-out, every detail surprised and delighted my family and me. First off, the B&B's location near Dali SanYue Trade City is perfect – it's quiet but centrally located. Navigation was spot-on, the Old Town is right across the street, and SanYue Street is next door, making it convenient to get anywhere. We booked the 'Starry Sky Family Room,' and it looked exactly like the pictures, even cozier in person! The smart room control system was very convenient, the bedding quality was superb, and the private hot tub was fantastic. They even prepared a cute little tent for the kids, who had a blast. The skylight design was a highlight; it provided excellent natural light during the day and allowed us to stargaze at night, creating an amazing ambiance. The common areas are also very well-designed, with a coffee shop on the first floor – everything was clean and inviting. Breakfast deserves a special mention; it was rich, healthy, and self-serve, which the kids absolutely loved. Highly recommend! We'll definitely choose this place again on our next trip to Dali.

GGuest UserThe owner was so nice, even helping us move our luggage when we switched rooms. The auntie was also very gentle. The room was quite pretty and they even gave us a small fruit basket. I'm very happy with the hotel, just be sure to avoid the electric scooter rental next door. Make sure you know the going rates, otherwise it's super easy to get ripped off.

PPijiuyayaThis is hands down the best hotel I've ever stayed at in Dali, from every single aspect! Ahhhhh, I loved it so much! The photos came out perfectly, who gets it?!
1. Location: It's right by Dali Ancient City, and the hotel even offers complimentary airport or high-speed rail transfers, which is super convenient for someone like me who just wants to explore without having to plan everything.
2. Environment: Unlike other hotels, this one boasts a huge green space with beautiful garden scenery. You can see Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain from here, making it a fantastic spot for photos. I took so many gorgeous pictures and still felt like I hadn't taken enough!
3. Food: The hotel provides afternoon tea and breakfast. The mousse cake at afternoon tea was absolutely delicious – light and not greasy. Paired with the amazing ambiance, you could easily spend a whole afternoon just relaxing here.
Oh my goodness! Every single staff member at the hotel was incredibly friendly. If I keep going, I'll end up writing an even longer review, haha. Time for some beautiful pictures!

GGukeqiaodaifuCompared to Sanya, Lijiang falls short for family-friendly travel, still primarily catering to a younger demographic. The Dream Butterfly Manor is no exception, but this hotel still managed to create a poetic and tranquil living experience. The scenery is beautiful, offering distant views of the snow-capped Cangshan mountains and the Three Pagodas. The breakfast even included rose petals, and the service attitude was exceptional. The young man who greeted us upon check-in was very enthusiastic, and when we checked out, the tall lady at the front desk stood at the door for a long time, waving us goodbye. I haven't stayed in top-tier luxury hotels, but I haven't encountered such service in the many years I've stayed in five-star hotels across the country. All in all, this is the most satisfying hotel I've stayed in, and I will definitely come back for a longer stay next time.

MM278948****The B&B owner was very welcoming and helped me with my luggage. They also recommended places to eat and things to do. You can tell a lot of thought went into the room facilities, and the cleanliness was excellent. The B&B is located inside Erhai Park, which has a playground and animals to see, so the kids had a great time. There's even a swing at the B&B that the kids didn't want to leave! 😂 The owner was really nice; they recommended we visit Wenbi Village and even suggested accommodation there since we hadn't decided on our plans for the next few days. They told us we could go check out the place first before deciding. Overall, it's highly recommended!

I looked at a lot of hotels in Dali and found this one. The location is indeed a bit out of the way, outside the ancient city, so you'll need navigation to find it.
**Service:**
Excellent! Throughout my stay, the staff's attitude in arranging things and helping me understand everything about the surroundings was superb.
**Cleanliness:**
The room was very clean. The hotel seems quite new, so the whole room felt great. The room they assigned me also had a view of the outside, essentially four floor-to-ceiling windows, and even a small balcony. It was really wonderful and beautiful.
I'm Uncle Ben, a man from China who believes in kindness and charm, and I highly recommend this place.
