Facilities: The room had excellent facilities; I was surprised to find a swimming pool and hot spring bath. I'll definitely remember to bring a swimsuit next time.
Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean, every single corner was pristine.
Environment: The environment was beautiful, with vibrant flowers and green plants all around the room entrances. I loved it.
Service: The staff at the front desk were incredibly warm, thoughtful, and attentive. It felt just like coming home!
Breakfast: The lavish buffet breakfast was easily four-star quality, with fresh ingredients and delicious flavors. A huge thumbs up!

WWudiniangaozaiThis guesthouse was one of the accommodations I was most looking forward to during my trip to Dali, and I'm so glad it met my expectations! I didn't do much research before booking; I just stumbled upon a recommendation on a social media platform, and the view looked so amazing that I booked it right away. First, let's talk about the location. Since I didn't read up much beforehand, I only realized upon arrival that there are very few dining options nearby – almost no restaurants at all. Luckily, we had rented a car, which made things a bit easier. The owner is incredibly thoughtful and provides excellent service, helping with luggage and giving great recommendations. The resident cat, Saipan, is a bit aloof but very good-tempered; you can pet him all you want. It's a shame I only stayed for a short time. The view from this room type is fantastic, and in the evening, with the lights on, it feels so warm and cozy. I hope to come back and stay for a few days next time when I'm not in a hurry. Oh, and the room is also super photogenic!

The owner helped us with our luggage when we arrived and left. They were very enthusiastic, even helping us set up for photos, and the recommended restaurants were delicious. My only small issue was a communication gap regarding breakfast; on the second day, a different owner was there and didn't know we needed to leave early.

AAramiRexWe stayed here from 12–15 May during our honeymoon and decided to do our Yunnan trip entirely on our own. Dali was our first destination after landing in Kunming the night before, and it turned out to be the perfect start to our journey.
Since our train arrived early at around 9:00 AM, I contacted the host a few days in advance to ask if an early check-in would be possible. Not only were they happy to accommodate our request, but they also kindly offered to pick us up from the station. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by our host, Mei, who gave us a tour of the property after check-in.
The hotel exceeded our expectations. The architecture is absolutely stunning, from the outside, it feels like staying in a beautiful traditional palace within the old town, while the interior is thoughtfully modernized with every comfort you could need. Our room was incredibly spacious, and we especially loved the heated bathroom floors and the bidet, which was a pleasant surprise. There is also a rooftop area where guests can enjoy a beautiful sunrise view.
Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. Guests are given several options, and parts of the menu change daily, which kept things interesting. What we looked forward to most every morning was the amazing yogurt served with homemade rose jam, it was honestly the best we've ever had. We mentioned how much we loved it, and at the end of our stay, Mei surprised us with a jar to take home. Such a thoughtful gesture!
Every evening, the hotel served a warm dessert, introducing us to flavors that were completely new yet delicious. We were also treated to a complimentary afternoon tea. To make our honeymoon even more special, Mei and her team surprised us with a personalized cake, which was incredibly touching.
The location is very convenient, with several Muslim-friendly eateries within a 10-minute walk, as well as convenience stores nearby.
What truly sets this place apart, however, is the hospitality. Out of all the accommodations we stayed at during our Yunnan trip, this was by far the best. Mei went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, constantly sharing recommendations, travel tips, and local insights to help us make the most of our time in Dali. We genuinely felt cared for throughout our stay.
I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for honeymooners and newlyweds looking for a memorable and heartfelt experience. InsyaAllah, we will definitely return on our future trips to Dali.

I'd like to extend a special thank you to the hotel manager, JUDI, who was incredibly kind and friendly, providing professional and appropriate service. During our trip, our child suddenly came down with gastroenteritis, making it inconvenient to eat out. JUDI promptly and thoughtfully arranged for us to have plain noodles customized for our child and continued to check in on their condition, which solved a major problem for us at that moment. Additionally, the housekeeping staff cleaned meticulously, and the room service personnel were patient and gentle. Every staff member was enthusiastic and responsible.
The thoughtful and considerate service made our trip away from home feel incredibly warm and truly made us feel at home. When we visit Dali again in the future, we will definitely choose the Pullman Hotel first.

MM474085****I forgot to take pictures, but the room was really big and beautiful, and you could get some sun in the mornings. The guesthouse is inside the ancient city but not in the busiest area, so it's very quiet at night. Taxis can drop you right at the entrance, and it's close to everything for exploring. The large bathtub was great for a relaxing soak, and the air conditioning had a heating function, plus there was an electric blanket. A special shout-out to the young man who runs the place; he was super responsive whenever we had a question and even lent us his e-scooter.

When you arrive, you can enjoy the hotel's homemade flower cakes and walnuts – I'm really bummed I missed out on the hotel breakfast! The service was also very satisfying, and the room was large and beautiful. It's excellent value for money. I stayed here a few years ago and loved it so much that when I came back to Dali, I booked the same room type at the same hotel again! The only thing is the bamboo forest seemed smaller, maybe it was the wrong season. I'll definitely come back again to experience it.

So I didn't have high expectations this time, but wow, was I surprised! Could a homestay actually look as good as its pictures? Was the 'butler service' more than just a slogan? And could a room really be this beautiful without a wide-angle lens? This time, I truly experienced it all. If I had to nitpick, I'd suggest the host add a few more hooks in the room. Other than that, there's nothing else to say. If you're reading reviews and researching accommodations, go ahead and book this place with confidence – you won't be disappointed!

The room was clean and fresh, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. There are lounge chairs on the balcony, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sea breeze – it's incredibly therapeutic. You can wake up to the sunrise every morning by just opening the window, and in the evening, witness the orange sunset painting the lake. Every photo you take here turns out amazing. The owner is thoughtful and attentive, sending us travel routes in advance and responding quickly to any questions. At night, you fall asleep to the gentle sound of waves, making for a quiet and relaxing stay. A short walk takes you right to the lake. The overall ambiance is fantastic – Fansu is definitely the top choice for a sea view in Dali, and I've already recommended it to my friends.
