"My friend and I had a wonderful stay at the Xiamolan Bay Sea View Hotel. The location, staff and amenities are exceptional. The facilities are clean, comfortable and beautiful. I received a complimentary upgrade on my room which made the experience extra special. The Cafe serves great coffee, hotel guests receive a discount, we also received ample vouchers for complimentary coffee and cake to enjoy during our stay. The women working in the morning was very kind when I encounted a payment issue and the coffee and cake was delicious. The desk manager, Ni Guixi, who works evening-morning was extremely kind, helpful and considerate. A storm knocked out power to my room the last night of the stay, he first attempted to contact me though Trip for my consent to manually reset power to my room before coming to check that I was okay, I missed the message but the staff politely came to check on me, and quickly restored power. Afterwards I enjoyed a comfortable nights sleep. My friend and I only speak English, Ni Guixi was so patient communicating with us through the translation apps. He assisted us with bike rentals after we could not rent scooters due to not having a Chinese phone number, my friend and I enjoyed a beautiful bike ride down the ecological corridor before checkout. At departure Ni Guixi asked if there was anything else he could assist us with before he completed his shift. We spent 3 weeks traveling Yunnan, out of all the places we stayed Ni Guixi professionalism stood out, and helped make our stay in Dali extra special. I would love to return to Dali and enjoy another stay at Xiamolan Bay Sea View Hotel again. There is so much to explore and enjoy, my friend and I wished we could stay longer and enjoy all this beautiful town has to offer."

"My stay here was absolutely fantastic. The room largely matched the pictures – it was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view. I could even watch the sunrise right from the balcony! I contacted them via WeChat in advance, and communication was smooth both before and during my stay. We took a taxi to the 'Sunshine Convenience Store,' and a staff member met us there to walk us to the guesthouse, which was just a few minutes away. Upon check-in, we were offered welcome fruit, breakfast, afternoon tea, and warm milk at night – you could really feel the thoughtfulness in every detail. There's also an adorable cat at the guesthouse that loves corn! The staff provided meticulous and attentive service, and the owner was very helpful in assisting foreign guests with their issues. Both check-in and check-out processes were efficient and convenient. After checking out, they even thoughtfully drove us back to the Sunshine Convenience Store. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I have the chance, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."
