Dali in summer isn't stifling during the day; a breeze picks up in the evening, making it pleasantly cool, perfect for a leisurely extended stay. The hotel amenities aren't luxurious, but the service is incredibly thoughtful. Breakfast features local specialties like Dai-style pounded chicken feet, fresh mushroom soup, freshly made rice noodles and 'er si' (a type of rice cake noodle), as well as rose milk and rice paste – all with a distinct local flavor. The hotel offers intangible cultural heritage activities like 'jiama' (paper horse) rubbings, creative cultural souvenirs, and a 'wish wall' where guests can share their thoughts. There's also a complimentary afternoon sweet soup daily. The location is very convenient, not far from Erhai Lake, and next to the Daguan'yi and Xiaoguan'yi food districts. You can walk to the Daguan'yi Farmers Market to buy local fruits and vegetables, and 'posu baba' (a layered pastry), making daily meals and shopping hassle-free. I plan to come back for a longer stay next time.

We really enjoyed our stay here and wish we'd booked more nights here rather than near the Dali old town, it's location is great, the room is really comfortable and the staff are always helpful. The hotel appears to be newly built and a bit rustic upon the first look but is actually a hidden gem. The amenities in the room are great, we especially enjoyed the water pressure. Hotel guests can get vouchers to use the full sized gym on the second floor, which is much better equipped than hotel gyms and super convenient. We would definitely return to stay here next time we're in Dali.

The front desk service was warm and welcoming, and the hotel facilities are new. The hotel is conveniently located near a large shopping mall, making it easy to go out for meals and shopping. The breakfast offers a rich and nutritious selection of Chinese and Western dishes. It's very suitable for family trips with children as well as business travelers. There's also underground parking available.

I was very impressed with this hotel! It was clean, tidy, and the service was thoughtful and attentive. The breakfast was delicious and the coffee was excellent! I didn't take pictures of the room, but it was well-designed with a simple style, good lighting, and it was very quiet! All in all, I was extremely satisfied. The transportation was also very convenient. Although it's a bit far from the ancient city, I don't like staying in noisy places or guesthouses anyway. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Dali!

We chose Xiaguan because it's quiet and right next to a street full of restaurants. We hired a car specifically for our trip. The hotel was clean, with a nice environment and friendly staff who even offered hot-packed food. Xingsheng Bridge is just a five-minute walk away, and the night view is beautiful. The driver was very easygoing and kind, especially to the elderly. We toured Dali Old Town until 11 PM, and he took us back home. I highly recommend this driver, Mr. Shi (***********). Mr. Shi's itinerary was very well-planned and suitable for our family. Weishan Ancient Town and Weibaoshan Mountain were beautiful, less crowded, and had a pleasant shopping experience. Xizhou Ancient Town was a rip-off; they forced us to pay 80 yuan for a sightseeing bus and tickets to attractions we didn't want to visit. Two years ago, we didn't have to pay anything. Now it's too commercialized.

The room was very spacious, and the staff were incredibly enthusiastic and even thoughtfully helped resolve our breakfast issue. The facilities were complete, and the laundry room and gym were clean and well-organized. It's very close to Dali Railway Station, which saved us the trouble of getting stuck in traffic or needing a taxi. Highly recommended!

Overall, my experience was fantastic! The room was clean and tidy, with all the amenities I needed. The bedding was so comfortable that I slept soundly through the night. The front desk staff were very warm and attentive, making check-in and check-out a breeze. The best part, though, was the location. It's incredibly convenient for transport, right in the heart of the bustling city, but because the hotel grounds are so large and set back from the street, it was surprisingly quiet. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!

I was heading to Shaxi the next day, so for easy bus access, I chose Atour, which is not far from the bus station. Bus route 5 takes you straight there. The front desk staff was very welcoming and gave me a complimentary room upgrade. The bedding was up to Atour's usual standard: very comfortable. The room was clean and tidy, and there was plenty of hot water. Breakfast on weekends goes until 11 AM, which is a really nice touch. They offered Dali's specialty rice noodles (er si) and douhua (tofu pudding), where you could adjust the sweet and savory flavors yourself. There's a shopping mall downstairs, making dining very convenient. It's much better value for money than staying in the old town.

Dali Qixiang Seaview Hotel is fantastic! The sea view is absolutely stunning, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a gorgeous view of Erhai Lake. A park is right outside, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. It's also close to the city center. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable. The service was warm and attentive, and the location is convenient, close to a food street and Xingsheng Bridge. Great value for money, highly recommended! They even gave a small toy as a welcome gift for the kids.
