Exceptional Stay! Sanjian Seaview Hotel was truly one of the highlights of my trip to Dali. Facing the beautiful Erhai Lake with breathtaking views of the majestic Cangshan Mountains, the scenery was simply stunning from sunrise to sunset. The room itself was spacious, clean, comfortable, and impeccably maintained. I especially loved the fully smart-controlled features adding a modern and luxurious touch to the stay. Combined with the panoramic views of Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain, it created a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. Every corner of the property is thoughtfully designed, making it incredibly aesthetic and Instagram-worthy. The food was another highlight. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and supper were all included, with a wide variety of choices and incredibly generous portions. As someone with a smaller appetite, I requested reduced portions, and the staff were more than happy to accommodate my request. Their attentiveness and flexibility were greatly appreciated. One unique feature was the complimentary photography session offered by the hotel. With such stunning scenery as the backdrop, it was hard to resist. The photographer was young, passionate, professional, and knew exactly how to make guests feel comfortable in front of the camera. Fair warning - you may arrive intending to enjoy only the complimentary photos, but you might find yourself purchasing a photo package because the results turn out far better than expected! Although the hotel is located slightly away from the popular tourist attractions, I found this to be one of its greatest strengths. Away from the crowds and bustle of the tourist hotspots, the hotel offers a peaceful and tranquil retreat where guests can truly relax and appreciate the natural beauty of Dali. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help, making the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, this was more than just a hotel stay, it felt like a place where time slowed down. Leaving was the hardest part. For a brief moment, I found myself wondering what it would be like to stay a few more days, or perhaps forever. It was the kind of place that made the outside world feel a little less urgent and every moment a little more precious. A truly memorable stay, and one that I will look back on fondly long after leaving Dali.

Staying at this Bai ethnic courtyard guesthouse on Renmin Road in the ancient city was a very satisfying experience overall. The location is a real advantage, right on the core Renmin Road of the ancient city. It's super convenient for exploring alleyways, finding food, and sightseeing. It perfectly balances being lively yet quiet; despite being on a busy street, it's completely undisturbed by the crowds. The courtyard itself is serene and tranquil, offering a comfortable blend of activity and peace. The courtyard is an authentic traditional Bai ethnic residence, featuring intricately carved wooden windows, ancient tiled roofs, and lush greenery with pomegranate trees, all exuding a strong sense of antiquity. Looking out from the carved windows on the second floor, the entire courtyard view is very atmospheric. The owner is down-to-earth and enthusiastic, helping with directions and luggage upon arrival, and thoughtfully providing tips for exploring the ancient city and local culinary recommendations. The service is attentive without being intrusive. The guest rooms are clean and comfortable, and the living environment is quiet and stable. For a trip to the ancient city, staying here offers both convenience and a relaxing experience. It's excellent value for money and highly recommended.

After comparing several options for my Dali vacation, I finally settled on Nefertiti, and it was the luckiest decision of my entire trip! The guesthouse has a refreshing Santorini vibe, with perfect photo opportunities everywhere you look. The infinity pool and terrace hot tubs directly face the entire Erhai Lake, offering breathtaking views of Cangshan's sunset glow and the ocean at dusk. Every shot turns out stunning without any filters needed. The location is truly unbeatable, just a ten-minute drive from Dali High-Speed Railway Station. The hotel provides a complimentary pick-up service, and the butler contacted me in advance to confirm my arrival time, so I didn't have to worry about my heavy luggage at all. Getting a taxi or ordering takeout was incredibly convenient. The amenities are top-notch, with a full smart home control system. A Dyson hairdryer, disposable bath towels, face towels, steam eye masks, mouthwash, laundry detergent, disinfected slippers, and a complete set of toiletries are all provided, showcasing attention to detail at every turn. The room was spacious, with large floor-to-ceiling windows and a scenic balcony. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the entire room was spotlessly clean with no unpleasant odors. It was wonderfully quiet and peaceful, ensuring several nights of sound sleep. The public areas offer a wealth of facilities, including a gym, a private cinema, a mahjong/card room, and a sea-view afternoon tea restaurant. The sea-view dining by the pool was fantastic, and the freshly ground coffee was exceptional. The butlers and staff were gentle and attentive, always ready to assist with any request. They were genuinely warm and friendly, and even proactively recommended local hidden gems and authentic eateries, helping us avoid tourist traps. We even received occasional heartwarming surprises. Upon checkout, the hotel gifted us flower cakes embossed with 'Dali,' available in four flavors. It's clear the owner put a lot of thought into preparing these souvenirs for guests. This place is perfect for couples, families, or friends traveling together. With new facilities, meticulous service, stunning views, and incredible value for money, my entire stay was comfortable and relaxing, curing all my travel fatigue. I've already recommended it to all my friends, and next time I visit Dali, I'll definitely choose Nefertiti again!

Choosing Yunying Chunxiao·Shuiyuan is truly a love-filled experience. The hotel is right on the shore of Erhai Lake, offering stunning views of the sea right from your window. Enjoying the sunset in the evening and falling asleep to the sound of the waves at night is incredibly therapeutic. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a simple yet sophisticated décor and complete with smart devices, making the stay super convenient. Our butler, Ms. Su, was incredibly attentive and helpful, assisting with itinerary planning and recommending off-the-beaten-path attractions. From breakfast and evening sweet soup, the attention to detail was impeccable. The complimentary travel photography experience was also excellent; the photographer was very professional, taking photos in the public areas that turned out beautifully, and the rooftop camera position for panoramic views of Erhai Lake was absolutely stunning. If you want to experience a truly slow-paced life in Shuanglang, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

The hardware is top-notch, with Dyson amenities, Marshall speakers, and high-end bathroom toiletries. The service is warm and thoughtful, with an attentive butler, breakfast, afternoon tea, and a sweet bedtime soup. Far from the hustle and bustle, lying back and relaxing here, listening to the wind and watching the sea, is the perfect way to experience a Dali vacation.

So glad I picked the right place for my first trip to Dali with my little one! The environment is great, the location is perfect, and right downstairs is the Erhai Ecological Corridor. The ground floor is their open-to-public cafe, and as a guest, you get unlimited coffee – anything on the menu is fair game, which is a dream come true for coffee lovers! 🤩 The feeling of lying in bed and looking out at Erhai Lake is truly unique! My child had so much fun too! You wouldn't get bored staying in the room all day, but unfortunately, downstairs is just too exciting, with live singers and a huge lawn where my child absolutely went wild, hahahaha!

The biggest surprise of my Dali trip wasn't the ancient city or Erhai Lake, but this forest B&B nestled halfway up Cangshan Mountain 🌿. As we drove up from the city, the urban hustle and bustle slowly faded, replaced by lush greenery and the sound of pine trees swaying in the wind. 🌄 **The Rooftop is Pure Soul:** I was absolutely stunned the moment I stepped onto the rooftop – the nineteen peaks of Cangshan Mountain stood behind me like a majestic screen, with the entire Erhai Lake and scattered Bai ethnic villages stretching out below. The Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple were faintly visible. In the morning, drawing back the curtains revealed a sea of rolling clouds. In the evening, I'd sit on the swing chair on the terrace, watching the sunset paint Erhai Lake a honeyed gold 🍯. At night, a glance upwards showed the Milky Way so clearly it brought tears to my eyes ✨. 🌿 **Immersive Mountain Living:** Hydrangeas were in full bloom in the courtyard, and dappled sunlight filtered through the treetops onto the wooden floors. The natural wood-toned room had floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, making it feel like sleeping right in the forest 🌲. There were also three resident cats, each with their own unique personality, taking turns on patrol. I was very satisfied with my stay. The hotel's overall environment was clean and elegant. The room was spacious, and the cleanliness was meticulous. Facilities like the bathroom and appliances were in good working order and provided a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and gentle, check-in and check-out were efficient, and communication was smooth when issues arose. The surrounding area has convenient transportation, making dining and getting around effortless. The guest room area was quiet at night, allowing for good rest. Overall, there were no disappointments; everything exceeded expectations, and the price was reasonable. It was a very pleasant accommodation experience. I will definitely book here again if I return to the area and would recommend it to friends traveling here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three-night stay at Hidden Mist (listed on Trip.com as Santorini National Tide Sea View Resort). If you are looking for a relaxing stay with beautiful lake views, outstanding hospitality, and easy access to the Dreamland Resort area, I would happily recommend this hotel and would stay here again. Location: The hotel is located within Dreamland Resort on the eastern side of Dali, approximately 20 minutes from the airport, 30 minutes from the railway station, and around an hour from Dali Ancient City. We stayed near the Ancient City first before moving here, which I would recommend for anyone wanting to explore both sides of Dali. The resort is large, beautifully maintained, and very walkable. Complimentary golf cart shuttles regularly transport guests around the resort, while taxis are easy to arrange from the main entrance. There are quite a few staircases throughout the property, so it may not be ideal for guests with limited mobility. Service: The service was exceptional and one of the biggest highlights of our stay. Before we even arrived, the hotel contacted us by email and created a dedicated WeChat group with staff from different departments so we could ask questions or request assistance at any time. Everything felt organised, personal, and effortless. From the moment we arrived, a golf cart was waiting to collect us from the resort entrance. Throughout our stay, the staff regularly checked in to ensure everything was going well and genuinely cared that we were comfortable. The handwritten welcome note, housekeeping notes after each room clean, and staff asking what time would be most convenient to service our room were thoughtful touches that made us feel truly looked after. Although our booking only included a complimentary airport or railway station pickup, the hotel kindly arranged an airport drop-off instead because we had arrived from another part of Dali. This was greatly appreciated. Room & Cleanliness: We booked a room with a private garden overlooking Erhai Lake, and it was absolutely worth it. Waking up to the peaceful lake view each morning quickly became one of our favourite parts of the stay. The room and bathroom were spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained. Everything still feels new and exceptionally clean. The large soaking bath, with bath milk replenished daily, was perfect after a day of exploring. The shower had excellent water pressure. As someone with very long hair, I found the shampoo and conditioner a little drying, so I would recommend bringing your own. The secure WiFi was reliable and fast enough for both my husband and me to work during our stay. Breakfast & Dining: Breakfast was excellent, with a choice between a Western breakfast and a local Yunnan set menu. We tried both, and every meal was fresh, well presented, and delicious. As we had an early flight on our final morning, the hotel prepared a takeaway breakfast for us, another thoughtful gesture that reflected the level of service throughout our stay. Our booking also included complimentary afternoon tea with cakes and fresh fruit. It would have been even better if guests could also choose a complimentary tea or coffee. The room includes quality tea, a premium kettle, and a mini fridge, although adding coffee would be a welcome touch, especially in Yunnan. Facilities & Surroundings: The hotel has a convenient power bank rental station in the lobby, and Dreamland Resort is full of beautiful cafés, viewpoints, and photo spots. Flomis Garden is less than a five-minute walk away, making it incredibly convenient for visitors. Our booking also included a traditional tea ceremony experience, which unfortunately we did not have time to attend. We also received a beautiful woodblock print as a farewell gift, which was a lovely surprise. Overall: Hidden Mist combines beautiful accommodation with genuinely outstanding hospitality. Wonderful Stay in Dali We had such a wonderful stay here! The room was spotless and the service was truly tip-top. The staff (Popo) were incredibly thoughtful — they helped us with our luggage, provided sunscreen, and even arranged a complimentary photoshoot for us. We were also given a lovely rose vinegar drink at night and a rose petal foot soak, which were such special touches. Breakfast deserves a special mention too. We don’t eat pork or beef, and the staff went out of their way to contact us and prepare different options for us. We really appreciated the effort and care.
