4-Star Hotels in Dali City

Full marks, full marks! We chose this place after seeing Xiao Jian's recommendation. The butler contacted us in advance to confirm the number of guests and helped us combine two beds. Upon arrival, we were treated to a delightful afternoon tea (fruits, pastries, nuts) and a late-night snack (red date and white fungus soup). Sitting on the seaside balcony was incredibly relaxing, and our two children couldn't stop exclaiming, 'This place is so beautiful!' The hotel also offered a complimentary 3-photo photoshoot, and that's when we discovered the incredible beauty of not only the sea view and swing in the first-floor restaurant but also the stunning glass room with a white bed on the third floor and the glass walkway on the rooftop. The decor is simply unbeatable. Beyond the fantastic aesthetics, the food was also outstanding. All four of us practically licked the plates clean with the sauce from the yellow curry shrimp, using it to mix with our rice. Luggage service was provided for both check-in and check-out, and a parking spot in a nearby lot was reserved for us in advance. The only minor inconvenience for us as a family with children: the bathroom and toilet in the room only had a glass and sheer curtain partition. It was a bit awkward when adults were showering, as we had to distract the kids with an iPad cartoon.

Choosing Yunying Chunxiao·Shuiyuan is truly a love-filled experience. The hotel is right on the shore of Erhai Lake, offering stunning views of the sea right from your window. Enjoying the sunset in the evening and falling asleep to the sound of the waves at night is incredibly therapeutic. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a simple yet sophisticated décor and complete with smart devices, making the stay super convenient. Our butler, Ms. Su, was incredibly attentive and helpful, assisting with itinerary planning and recommending off-the-beaten-path attractions. From breakfast and evening sweet soup, the attention to detail was impeccable. The complimentary travel photography experience was also excellent; the photographer was very professional, taking photos in the public areas that turned out beautifully, and the rooftop camera position for panoramic views of Erhai Lake was absolutely stunning. If you want to experience a truly slow-paced life in Shuanglang, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

When I came to Dali for a trip, I didn't hesitate at all when booking Wuyun. I just wanted to wake up and see the sea view, and Wuyun definitely delivered. From the initial communication to the actual check-in, everything was pleasant. Downstairs is a rental shop for the ecological corridor, which is very convenient. The yogurt bowl for breakfast was delicious. I kept wanting to ask what brand of yogurt they used, but I forgot by check-out. 😒 Coffee refills were unlimited and they didn't skimp on quality. My friend and I had many cups. If I come to Dali again next time, I'll definitely stay here!

My stay at Hilton Garden Inn Dali Erhai Park was absolutely fantastic! The location is a huge plus, very close to Yunxiang Mountain, which made it super convenient to drive over and see the Erhai Fish Lanterns at night. After enjoying the night view, it wasn't a long drive back to the hotel. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable – I slept really well after a long day. The front desk staff were friendly, handled check-in efficiently, and were quick to respond to any questions. Breakfast had a good variety and tasted authentic, leaving me feeling full. The hotel environment is quiet, and it's easy to get around for meals. If you're coming to Dali to see the Fish Lanterns, this hotel is a great choice. I highly recommend it for both self-driving and family trips, and I'll definitely stay here again next time!

Our overall stay was fantastic! The hygiene and soundproofing were excellent. Having stayed at the Ecological Corridor in Dali before, this time I chose to stay in the city center. The hotel's location is great, and transportation is very convenient. The interior design is very stylish and perfect for taking photos. The most important thing is that the staff's service attitude deserves full marks. They tried their best to accommodate all our requests. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

I brought my mom to Dali for a trip and stumbled upon this hotel, Yunye Hotel, and it was such a pleasant surprise! The location is super convenient, not far from the ancient city, yet the environment is incredibly peaceful, like a little paradise with lush greenery all around. My mom couldn't stop raving about the room and the service – the bedding was comfortable, and the housekeeper was very attentive. She loved the rice noodles for breakfast and the afternoon tea, and there was even a sweet soup offered at night. Overall, it exceeded our expectations! We'll definitely be back next time and I've already recommended it to my friends.

The hotel arranged two connecting rooms for my parents and me perfectly. I absolutely loved the entrance garden; it added such a lovely touch and made our trip feel so much sweeter. Definitely a great experience!

🌲 Dali Cangshan Oxygen Retreat | Living in This Forest, I Kicked My Phone Addiction🍃 Seriously, I'm so grateful! The biggest surprise of my Dali trip wasn't the ancient city or Erhai Lake, but this forest B&B nestled halfway up Cangshan Mountain 🌿. As we drove up from the city, the urban hustle and bustle slowly faded, replaced by lush greenery and the sound of pine trees swaying in the wind. 🌄 **The Rooftop is Pure Soul:** I was absolutely stunned the moment I stepped onto the rooftop – the nineteen peaks of Cangshan Mountain stood behind me like a majestic screen, with the entire Erhai Lake and scattered Bai ethnic villages stretching out below. The Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple were faintly visible. In the morning, drawing back the curtains revealed a sea of rolling clouds. In the evening, I'd sit on the swing chair on the terrace, watching the sunset paint Erhai Lake a honeyed gold 🍯. At night, a glance upwards showed the Milky Way so clearly it brought tears to my eyes ✨. 🌿 **Immersive Mountain Living:** Hydrangeas were in full bloom in the courtyard, and dappled sunlight filtered through the treetops onto the wooden floors. The natural wood-toned room had floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, making it feel like sleeping right in the forest 🌲. There were also three resident cats, each with their own unique personality, taking turns on patrol. This is a recently announced four-star B&B in Dali. Hahaha, I booked it after seeing it. The taxi we called didn't go directly to Caicun, so we had to go through a small alley. However, it's very close to the ecological corridor, just across the lawn from the back door. I highly recommend the Erhai Ecological Corridor. We were upgraded during the off-season, and I stayed there for two nights. The bedding, amenities, and cleanliness were all very thoughtful. I complained about the loud air conditioning, but the front desk lady brought a radiator up, and I slept very well that night. The B&B is very eco-friendly, and while it's all green, there weren't any bugs in the room, which is a real plus. The small rooftop garden in Figure 4 is beautiful, but it was a shame that it rained every day in Dali that day, so I didn't get to see the sunrise.

An absolute 10/10 stay at Fansu Courtyard! Great value for money, with stunning sunset views. You can just step outside to catch the gorgeous sunset over Erhai Lake. The courtyard has a wonderful vibe—it's clean, comfortable, and the hosts are attentive. Parking is very convenient if you're driving. They treat you to complimentary coffee every day; sitting in the courtyard, sipping coffee and enjoying the evening breeze is just so relaxing. The guesthouse is located close to the fish lantern viewing spot, making it easy to watch the sunset in the evening and admire the glowing fish lanterns at night. Such a peaceful and healing experience. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Dali!
