"Choosing this hotel in Dali Shuanglang was absolutely the right decision! The location is superb, right by Erhai Lake. Opening the window reveals a panoramic view of the entire lake and Cangshan Mountain, and watching the sunset in the evening is incredibly therapeutic. The surroundings are also very quiet, and I even witnessed a breathtaking sunset! Absolutely stunning! The lake view is fantastic, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The room facilities are comprehensive, with simple and comfortable decor. The balcony view is amazing, and the bed was very comfortable for a restful sleep. The owner and staff are all incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with any requests. What I was most satisfied with was the cleanliness; the room was spotless, with no strange odors, and even the corners were thoroughly cleaned. I felt completely at ease staying here. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Shuanglang."

The decor and design were fantastic. The renovation of the historic building is quite unique, and the courtyard is breathtaking.
The housekeeping service was excellent, and any requests were promptly addressed.
The breakfast was also delicious, featuring some unique dishes.
I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Yunnan.

GGuest User12 Clouds was every bit the promotional photos had presented — a rare thing. The view of Erhai Lake is really awesome and definitely one of the highlights of this hotel. My family of three had a great time waking up to the panoramic view before heading to breakfast every morning.
Which brings us to the food — another highlight for us. The breakfast was so good that we wanted to have dinner there as well on our final night. One minor peeve though. We were entitled to a free dinner set for having stayed three nights but the staff informed us only over WeChat about this. Frustrating as we actually preordered two dishes in the morning of our last night. We ended up having too much food — thankfully, there was another family to share the food.
Other highlights:
Location - Right by the banks of Erhai on top of an elevation within a gated compound called Dali Condominiums Phase II or 大理公馆 (二期). Despite the private location, you can easily Didi for a ride to anywhere in the city.
Room - Spacious with good amenities. Awesome VOD system on there if you understand Chinese. There are Hong Kong drama serials available.

Facilities: The room was well-equipped with amenities like a mini-fridge, coffee machine, water heater, safe, bathtub, and shower.
Cleanliness: Clean and tidy.
Environment: The location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from Dali Port. The scenery is amazing, with lake-view rooms overlooking Erhai Lake.
Service: The front desk staff were very friendly and patient, listened carefully to my questions, and answered quickly.

GGuest UserThis hotel is completely let down by its long and terrible name, but that doesn't stop it from being a fantastic place. It's great value for money and absolutely perfect for families.
**Environment:** Beautiful! The grounds are huge and there's an amazing vegetable and fruit garden where you can pick blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries freely. They also have horses, and there's a wild pear tree right by the entrance. My kids spent two hours every morning picking pears, gathering vegetables, feeding the horses, and picking fruit to eat.
**Facilities:** The room was very spacious, and the sound system and hairdryer were excellent. The night light had a slight issue that needs fixing, though.
**Service:** Very prompt! My package included a car, and the minivan driver was on call whenever we needed him, even providing a car seat – super impressed! The dining service was also quite good, but it can be a bit slow when it's busy, which also impacts room service.
**Hygiene:** Absolutely meets the standards of a good five-star hotel.
I rarely leave reviews, but this hotel deserves to be known. Seriously, that name is just awful! Don't let the name make you miss out on this gem.

GGuest UserThis has been the best B&B experience I've had in Yunnan so far! The room looks exactly like the pictures. The B&B is near Caicun village, and we stayed on the 3rd floor, which offered fantastic views. In front, we had the beautiful S-bend of Erhai Lake, and behind, large wisteria bushes and Cangshan Mountain. There's also an observation deck upstairs for even more unobstructed views. The room is spacious, with high-tech amenities and large floor-to-ceiling windows, so you can enjoy the scenery just by opening the curtains. I was pleasantly surprised that the water heater provided instant hot water. The courtyard is very clean, and the host even helped us with our luggage. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. (If you're driving, I'd recommend parking outside the village, as the roads inside are very narrow, making it difficult to pass oncoming cars and easy to scrape your vehicle.)

It's located halfway up the mountain, but the lobby offers free shuttle services to four different locations: the Ancient City, Chong Sheng Temple, and two cable car stations. They also provide room service. My room rate this time included a fruit platter and an afternoon tea set. The afternoon tea was excellent – a three-tiered stand with nuts and cakes. I stayed in a sea-view room overlooking Erhai Lake, and the scenery was absolutely stunning. Highly recommend!

The front desk staff were incredibly gentle and patient, explaining everything in detail and actively helping to coordinate any requests I had. Their service really impressed me.
What truly surprised me was the hotel's intangible cultural heritage 'Jia Ma' printing experience, where the staff patiently guided us through the process.
I booked a standard room, not an executive one, so it was a pleasant surprise to find out that the executive lounge offers à la carte options – that's a huge plus! The view from the 9th-floor lounge is absolutely stunning. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer an unobstructed view of the entire Erhai Lake, with Cangshan Mountain, the villages, and the lake all visible. The atmosphere at sunset is just magical. If you visit Dali, you absolutely must make time to sit there for a while, feel the breeze, and take in the mountains and the sea – it's incredibly therapeutic and washes away all fatigue.
Overall, both the service and the unique experiences were top-notch. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Dali!

The snooker table is also fantastic; I played a few games with friends, it was so much fun! The hotel's pick-up service is very convenient; staff members are there to meet you as soon as you get off the bus, saving you time and effort. In the evening, I relaxed in the lounge; the sofas were very soft, and there was even a small TV where I could watch my favorite shows. Overall, I was very satisfied with everything, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Dali!
