This hotel is located in Xiaguan, very close to the high-speed train station, and about a 30-minute drive from the airport. Our butler, Judi, was incredibly thoughtful and helped us get a room on a higher floor. The room had an amazing panoramic view of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. Coincidentally, the hotel was offering tie-dye and 'wa mao' (traditional clay cat) making activities, which was perfect for the kids to experience since it was raining in the morning. We also visited Yunxiangshan nearby, which is great for photos and even has a Polaris sling shot ride. My kids loved it, just like when we tried similar rides at OMG Heartbeat Park and Singapore's Sentosa.

Guest User🌊 Five-Star Review for Dali Erhai Lakefront Seaview Hotel/Guesthouse 🌊
The best decision I made coming to Dali was choosing this beachfront room! Open the window and you're greeted with the entire Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain in one frame. The 180° floor-to-ceiling windows perfectly frame the 'orange sea' sunset and the morning sunrise directly from the room. Lying in bed, you can watch the clouds roll by and the sparkling waves – even just zoning out feels incredibly healing~
The service was also exceptionally heartwarming: the butler added me on WeChat in advance to send directions, actively helped carry my luggage upstairs upon arrival, and thoughtfully recommended niche photo spots and authentic local snacks. The room was cleaned meticulously every day, the amenities were high-quality, afternoon tea was generous, and they even delivered a sweet soup at night. The public terrace is fantastic for photos, and the Yunnan rice noodles for breakfast were delicious!
Half the joy of this Dali trip came from Erhai Lake, and the other half came from this place~ Highly recommend to anyone who wants to lie back and enjoy views of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. I will definitely be back for a second stay next time!

Guest UserThis was my first time in Yunnan, and I specifically chose this guesthouse because it's right next to a police station. The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming, helping us with our luggage and giving us great tips for sightseeing. The courtyard is spacious and quiet, and it's only about a ten-minute walk to the ancient city. I really wished I could have stayed another day or two if my itinerary wasn't already set. Coming back around 11 PM, almost all the streetlights were off, but the guesthouse still had a super bright light on at the entrance, which I found incredibly thoughtful. We woke up late, and the kitchen had thoughtfully saved breakfast for us. The breakfast was very plentiful and made fresh by local aunties. Their human touch really surpasses many large hotels. If I ever come back to Dali, or if friends visit, I will definitely highly recommend this guesthouse.

Once again, we say goodbye with that familiar ache of reluctance in our hearts.
Yet this farewell is softened by a unexpected tenderness—a beautiful twist of fate. A sudden bout of altitude sickness in Lijiang forced us to alter our plans and return to Dali. Little did we know this detour would lead us to the most wonderful surprise: XingMu Villa, tucked away on the green slopes of Haidong. Perhaps this was destiny's gentle hand at work all along?
We were truly blessed to meet the villa's kind-hearted owners, whose genuine warmth made us feel as though we had returned to a home we never knew we had.
The goodbye was especially moving. When our driver, Master He, arrived, the owners personally came out to see us off. We shared joyful smiles in a farewell photo, and they gifted us my favorite rose tea—a touching gesture I'll always remember. The hostess, aware of my recent knee injury, carefully helped me into the car, her eyes filled with such sincere care, as if I were her own. When she said how much she enjoyed hosting us and how special we were to her, my heart echoed every word.
Though every wonderful journey must eventually end, the memories we've made here will stay with us forever. As our car carried us away, the gentle scent of rose tea still lingered, a fragrant reminder of this heartwarming chapter.
Until we meet again, XingMu Villa. May you continue to shine brightly, and may every traveler who finds their way to your doors experience the same extraordinary warmth that embraced us during our stay.

Guest UserI rarely write reviews, but this hotel truly touched me. As an architect/interior designer, hotel design, aesthetics, and facilities have always been my top criteria when traveling. I've stayed in many hotels both domestically and internationally. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to book the newly built room type at Zuodu; the older section was just okay in terms of comfort. If you have the option, I definitely recommend choosing the new room types. The hotel is located right on the scenic coastal road. Its somewhat remote location makes it even quieter compared to S Bay, yet the surrounding scenery is still fantastic. What really made me want to check in here was their service. First, I chose two room types, and both included breakfast, plus daily afternoon tea options. The breakfast was quite rich, served buffet style, with Western, Cantonese, and rice noodle options. The restaurant environment is also excellent, with a great ambiance for photos both indoors and outdoors. Honestly, I've been to Dali many times, and hotels in this price range rarely offer breakfast, let alone afternoon tea. A cup of coffee costs 30-40 yuan, and you can order two per room, along with fruit and flower cakes. Besides the food, the hotel's other thoughtful services were also very impressive. This included shuttle service to and from the parking lot, and to and from the airport (we were a group of 5, 3 adults and 2 children, and the hotel provided a complimentary 7-seater shuttle from Longkan Pier, and the airport drop-off price was also upgraded from a 5-seater to a 7-seater for free). Bottled water in the hotel is unlimited and self-service. Instant coffee, tea bags, and steam eye masks are provided daily in the room, and none of them are off-brands. In the public restrooms, they thoughtfully provide sanitary pads and mouthwash, both of which are good brands. In short, whatever you requested, the front desk always responded and resolved it immediately. Upon checkout, they even gave us Pu'er tea cakes as a souvenir. I can truly say their service was exceptional. I will definitely choose Zuodu again next time I come to Dali.

Anonymous UserI have higher requirements for accommodation and spend more time in hotels. I am the one who takes care of hotels when my friends and family travel, because I have pretty good taste in choosing hotels. This one is a no-brainer.
External environment: As in the pictures in other reviews, there is no difference, so I didn’t take any extra photos. In the beautiful villa area, there is a garden path at the entrance, which is very romantic.
Inside the room: The entrance to the room, as shown in Figure 1, is very beautiful. The bed looked out the window. I really like the feeling of this kind of bed. It is very cozy to snuggle in it. As shown in Figure 2. The outside of the balcony bed is shown in Figure 3. The weather was bad during the few days we were in Yunnan, it would have been beautiful if the sun had gone out. Especially highlighting the key points, I personally like this large washbasin mirror, which is facing the window and has great lighting for makeup! ! ! Because I like to do my makeup in natural light. Figure 4.5
Breakfast: I stayed in rooms that cost more than 500 yuan or 1,000 yuan when I came to Yunnan. The regular breakfast in homestays was corn + sweet potato + egg + staple food + tomato. This is the most delicious breakfast I had in Yunnan. It was a complete plate. The rice noodles and noodles were so delicious. Attached photo 6
Transportation: It is difficult to park near the ancient city when driving. It is very convenient to take a taxi here. You can drive directly in and get on the car at the door, and it takes about 20 minutes to go to several pedestrian streets. It’s a two-minute drive to Sannei Ice Cream, which is delicious. Next to Figure 7 is a street selling Bai ethnic cuisine. I didn’t have time to eat there. Finally, attached are the various delicacies I ate here. Because the weather was bad, I just ate and ate.

My stay at the Dali Hilton Hotel was very satisfying. Its location is excellent, nestled at the foot of Cangshan Mountain and overlooking the picturesque Erhai Lake. Many small details showed the hotel's effective management. For example, even though the room decor has some age, the facilities are well-maintained, fully functional without any flaws, and still offer a comfortable and clean experience. From the doormen and concierges to the floor staff and restaurant servers, everyone was dedicated, warm, and friendly. I especially want to thank the guest relations manager for their thoughtful and attentive arrangements, which made my entire stay truly enjoyable.

Cangshan No. 1 is a hotel with advanced concepts. The management model is a team of butlers who create a feeling of home for guests and think of everything in front of them.
The environment is beautiful and beautiful, with swimming pools, white beaches, coconut trees... creating a different paradise.
Every employee has a strong sense of priority and their service attitude is excellent, gentle and comfortable. Not only did he take the initiative to inquire, but he also introduced the characteristics and customs of the Bai people in a very thoughtful way.
The room was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. Each room has its own bathing pool, dry and wet are separated, and even the toilet is fully automatic. Very clean!
Breakfast and afternoon tea are richly prepared and have local characteristics. There is also a heart-warming evening sweet soup every night. My family and I felt that choosing Cangshan No. 1 for this trip was a great value!
