We chose Coco as our butler for our trip to Dali, and the hotel was a pleasant surprise! Check-in at the front desk was efficient and quick, and the staff were incredibly helpful, even offering thoughtful advice on travel routes and reminding us about the tidal lane in advance, which made our self-drive smooth and safe. The guest room was meticulously cleaned, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent – I slept soundly until morning. The hotel is close to the ancient city, making it very convenient for shopping and dining. Both the facilities and services are top-notch. I truly recommend it to all travelers.

Yunnan hotels really go all out to outcompete each other, and hotels in Shuanglang are even more competitive than those in the ancient town. This particular B&B, Tinghuadao, offers stunning beachfront views, a lavish afternoon tea, and even complimentary tremella soup in the evening. They'll even wash and dry your clothes for you – they really focus on providing emotional value and a great experience. Honestly, I was in a bit of a bad mood after the long, traffic-filled drive. But as soon as we arrived at the parking lot, two staff members were there to greet us – one to help with luggage and the other to guide us. Upon arrival, we were offered drinks and our room was upgraded. The room was incredibly well-equipped with high-quality amenities; I've only encountered such comprehensive provisions in a few hotels in Japan. The staff member who showed us to our room mentioned that everything was complimentary and we could use and consume as much as we liked. We were also assigned a butler, who was incredibly responsive and took care of everything for us. As the sun set, we enjoyed the view, had some food, listened to the music from nearby bars, and later, counted the stars – it was truly delightful. The breakfast on the second day was exquisite, and the restaurant itself was very aesthetically pleasing. After breakfast, we spent some time taking photos around the hotel's scenic spots – our tie-dye outfits from the day before weren't wasted! When we checked out, a staff member drove us back to the parking lot, gave us a lovely souvenir, and even reimbursed our parking fees. They really went above and beyond. I'd read reviews about some B&Bs in Shuanglang not living up to their online descriptions, so we were a bit worried about a bad experience when we booked. But as soon as we arrived, all our worries disappeared. When I shared photos with my friends, everyone was asking which hotel it was! I hope Tinghuadao maintains its high standards, combining beautiful scenery, excellent service, and quality to ensure its long-term success.

This was my first time in Yunnan, and I specifically chose this guesthouse because it's right next to a police station. The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming, helping us with our luggage and giving us great tips for sightseeing. The courtyard is spacious and quiet, and it's only about a ten-minute walk to the ancient city. I really wished I could have stayed another day or two if my itinerary wasn't already set. Coming back around 11 PM, almost all the streetlights were off, but the guesthouse still had a super bright light on at the entrance, which I found incredibly thoughtful. We woke up late, and the kitchen had thoughtfully saved breakfast for us. The breakfast was very plentiful and made fresh by local aunties. Their human touch really surpasses many large hotels. If I ever come back to Dali, or if friends visit, I will definitely highly recommend this guesthouse.

I just stayed at this homestay and I have to praise it! 🌿The environment is superb, the courtyard is like a small garden, with lush green plants and cute swings, it's very comfortable to sit on. You can overlook the mountains and rivers from the room window, the view is excellent, watch the clouds roll by during the day, and fall asleep with the moonlight at night, it's so healing~ 🛏️The room facilities are very attentive, the bedding is as soft as clouds, and the Marshall speakers play music, the atmosphere is full. There is also the built-in bathtub, taking a bath is comfortable, full of details💯 🍱The breakfast is an exquisite nine-square grid, rich and healthy, corn, buns, grains with milk, super satisfying, start a day full of energy~ The butler service is also very considerate, and any needs are responded to in seconds. This stay experience is great, I have recommended it to my friends, and I will stay here next time!

Summary: A very satisfying trip. This hotel is located near the Erhai Lake Greenway, offering beautiful scenery and a peaceful environment with fewer tourists. Parking is convenient, about 200 meters away. The greenway is perfect for cycling; you can reach the 'Most Beautiful Kilometer of Erhai' in about ten kilometers. Xizhou Ancient Town is also just a 2-kilometer bike ride away. Due to certain circumstances during our stay, the owner upgraded us to a courtyard room on the first floor of Building B. The room's amenities were excellent, and we even got to see the sunrise in the morning. Finally, the breakfast and afternoon tea, although not extensive in variety, were exquisite. Highly recommended.

Breakfast was amazing! The freshly cooked rice noodles are fragrant, sticky and chewy, the courtyard is surrounded by green plants, and the terrace faces the sunrise over Erhai Lake. Every corner is full of natural aesthetics. The bedding in the room is skin-friendly and breathable, the air conditioner dispels the chill of Cangshan Mountain, and the viewing bathtub allows you to take in the starry sky and sea view. The boss is very kind and thoughtful, and he prepared sweet soup for us, which truly interprets the warmth of ”home away from home”.

I highly recommend this hotel! The environment is amazing and the service is incredibly warm and thoughtful. You absolutely have to try the afternoon tea; the exquisite pastries, fresh fruit, and coffee create such a blissful experience. I especially want to praise the Santorini seascape photoshoot. The package included outfits, and the shoot itself was very comprehensive. We were a group of four and took some group photos. After adding on more shots, the owner gave us a 40% discount, which was incredibly generous! Last year, our photography experience here wasn't great, but this year's photographer was an absolute gem. Not only was he friendly, but his photography skills were top-notch. The final photos are stunning! I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

The hotel's location is excellent. The lobby is on the fifth floor, and the view from there was truly stunning. The room was spacious and new. We chose a sea-view room, and the distant view of Erhai Lake was absolutely beautiful. We arrived at the hotel around 8 PM, and people were already gathered around a bonfire on the lawn downstairs, happily dancing to music. A special shout-out to our butler, who was incredibly dedicated. Whenever we had an issue, they would go above and beyond to help us find a solution – we were really touched. Next time I visit Dali, I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel again.

Cangshan No. 1 is a hotel with advanced concepts. The management model is a team of butlers who create a feeling of home for guests and think of everything in front of them. The environment is beautiful and beautiful, with swimming pools, white beaches, coconut trees... creating a different paradise. Every employee has a strong sense of priority and their service attitude is excellent, gentle and comfortable. There is also a heart-warming evening sweet soup every night. My family and I felt that choosing Cangshan No. 1 for this trip was a great value!
