A sudden bout of altitude sickness in Lijiang forced us to alter our plans and return to Dali. Little did we know this detour would lead us to the most wonderful surprise: XingMu Villa, tucked away on the green slopes of Haidong. Perhaps this was destiny's gentle hand at work all along? We were truly blessed to meet the villa's kind-hearted owners, whose genuine warmth made us feel as though we had returned to a home we never knew we had. The goodbye was especially moving. When our driver, Master He, arrived, the owners personally came out to see us off. We shared joyful smiles in a farewell photo, and they gifted us my favorite rose tea—a touching gesture I'll always remember. The hostess, aware of my recent knee injury, carefully helped me into the car, her eyes filled with such sincere care, as if I were her own. When she said how much she enjoyed hosting us and how special we were to her, my heart echoed every word. Though every wonderful journey must eventually end, the memories we've made here will stay with us forever. As our car carried us away, the gentle scent of rose tea still lingered, a fragrant reminder of this heartwarming chapter. Until we meet again, XingMu Villa. This particular B&B, Tinghuadao, offers stunning beachfront views, a lavish afternoon tea, and even complimentary tremella soup in the evening. They'll even wash and dry your clothes for you – they really focus on providing emotional value and a great experience. Honestly, I was in a bit of a bad mood after the long, traffic-filled drive. But as soon as we arrived at the parking lot, two staff members were there to greet us – one to help with luggage and the other to guide us. Upon arrival, we were offered drinks and our room was upgraded. The room was incredibly well-equipped with high-quality amenities; I've only encountered such comprehensive provisions in a few hotels in Japan. The staff member who showed us to our room mentioned that everything was complimentary and we could use and consume as much as we liked. We were also assigned a butler, who was incredibly responsive and took care of everything for us. As the sun set, we enjoyed the view, had some food, listened to the music from nearby bars, and later, counted the stars – it was truly delightful. The breakfast on the second day was exquisite, and the restaurant itself was very aesthetically pleasing. After breakfast, we spent some time taking photos around the hotel's scenic spots – our tie-dye outfits from the day before weren't wasted! When we checked out, a staff member drove us back to the parking lot, gave us a lovely souvenir, and even reimbursed our parking fees. They really went above and beyond. I'd read reviews about some B&Bs in Shuanglang not living up to their online descriptions, so we were a bit worried about a bad experience when we booked. But as soon as we arrived, all our worries disappeared. When I shared photos with my friends, everyone was asking which hotel it was! I hope Tinghuadao maintains its high standards, combining beautiful scenery, excellent service, and quality to ensure its long-term success.

This was my first time in Yunnan, and I specifically chose this guesthouse because it's right next to a police station. The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming, helping us with our luggage and giving us great tips for sightseeing. The courtyard is spacious and quiet, and it's only about a ten-minute walk to the ancient city. I really wished I could have stayed another day or two if my itinerary wasn't already set. Coming back around 11 PM, almost all the streetlights were off, but the guesthouse still had a super bright light on at the entrance, which I found incredibly thoughtful. We woke up late, and the kitchen had thoughtfully saved breakfast for us. The breakfast was very plentiful and made fresh by local aunties. Their human touch really surpasses many large hotels. If I ever come back to Dali, or if friends visit, I will definitely highly recommend this guesthouse.

Summary: A very satisfying trip. This hotel is located near the Erhai Lake Greenway, offering beautiful scenery and a peaceful environment with fewer tourists. Parking is convenient, about 200 meters away. The greenway is perfect for cycling; you can reach the 'Most Beautiful Kilometer of Erhai' in about ten kilometers. Xizhou Ancient Town is also just a 2-kilometer bike ride away. Due to certain circumstances during our stay, the owner upgraded us to a courtyard room on the first floor of Building B. The room's amenities were excellent, and we even got to see the sunrise in the morning. Finally, the breakfast and afternoon tea, although not extensive in variety, were exquisite. Highly recommended.

We chose Coco as our butler for our trip to Dali, and the hotel was a pleasant surprise! Check-in at the front desk was efficient and quick, and the staff were incredibly helpful, even offering thoughtful advice on travel routes and reminding us about the tidal lane in advance, which made our self-drive smooth and safe. The guest room was meticulously cleaned, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent – I slept soundly until morning. The hotel is close to the ancient city, making it very convenient for shopping and dining. Both the facilities and services are top-notch. I truly recommend it to all travelers.

The package included outfits, and the shoot itself was very comprehensive. We were a group of four and took some group photos. After adding on more shots, the owner gave us a 40% discount, which was incredibly generous! Last year, our photography experience here wasn't great, but this year's photographer was an absolute gem. Not only was he friendly, but his photography skills were top-notch. The final photos are stunning! I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

Cangshan No. 1 is a hotel with advanced concepts. The management model is a team of butlers who create a feeling of home for guests and think of everything in front of them. One day in Haidong, as if living in a picture frame I stayed in Kunming for two days on the weekend to escape from work Originally, I planned to stay in Haixi for two nights. By coincidence, I had dinner with an old friend at this hotel. I was shocked by the sunset in the restaurant. The key is that such a beautiful restaurant tastes good, so I decisively checked out of the room in Haixi and decided to stay immediately I booked a family room. The room is very large and the bed is super comfortable. The room is in a single-family villa with a large and beautiful terrace garden for taking pictures and watching the sea. Sitting in the restaurant, you can overlook the 19 peaks and 18 streams of Cangshan Mountain. The unpredictable clouds cover the top of the mountain like snow. I sat and watched the clouds for an afternoon, and I felt that I couldn’t see enough.

The bedding in the room is skin-friendly and breathable, the air conditioner dispels the chill of Cangshan Mountain, and the viewing bathtub allows you to take in the starry sky and sea view. The boss is very kind and thoughtful, and he prepared sweet soup for us, which truly interprets the warmth of ”home away from home”.
