GGuest UserExtremely satisfied with this B&B, especially the housekeeper – five-star rating! I had a great time chatting with her; she took care of everything perfectly.
And the B&B's doggy ”staff member,” Little Burger, is super cute and cuddly!
The decor feels very much like home. When you pull back the curtains on the panoramic French windows, you see the wetland park outside, which is a popular spot for photos – there were even people taking wedding pictures at the entrance.
On New Year's Eve, we just drew back the curtains and watched the fireworks show directly from our room!
The rooftop offers an absolutely stunning view of the sunset!
And the cutest little dog in all of Dali, Burger! I truly love him; even three nights here wasn't enough.
Overall, the stay was flawless. Renting a car made getting around very convenient. I'll definitely be back!

The owners, a wonderful couple, are incredibly warm and hospitable, making you feel right at home. Since it was my first time in Dali and I wasn't familiar with the area, the owner thoughtfully helped us find a reliable makeup artist. It was a perfect recommendation, no regrets at all, and I was very happy with the makeup!👍
Breakfast was included in the room rate, and it was delicious, easily 4-star quality – I ate very comfortably. The young man working at the guesthouse was also very attentive, often proactively refilling our bottled water, so we never had to worry about running out. These little details really added to the experience!💧
Overall, the experience was fantastic—warm and reassuring.
I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dali for the first time or looking for a cozy, heartfelt place to stay!❤️

GGuest UserThe environment of the yard room is very comfortable. It is so comfortable to sit under the camping umbrella, bask in the sun, blow the wind, drink milk tea and watch TV series [wow]. I don’t want to leave after staying here for a few days. It is the king of cost-effectiveness among the hotels I have stayed in. I came here mainly for Erhai Lake. It happens to be by the sea. I am super satisfied with my first visit. It is fun and I love to play. I will come again next time!

EEDWARD LIM L HQianyu Seaview Resort is located on the 19th floor of Building B of Erhai Tianyu International Apartment, featuring six rooms named after natural elements: 'Wind, Flower, Snow, Moon, Cloud, and Dew'.
I stayed in the 'Cloud' room, which offered a 180-degree view of Erhai Lake from its balcony. Only the 'Flower' and 'Moon' rooms boast a 270-degree panoramic view, as one side of their balconies is unobstructed by walls. For instance, the 'Moon' room, as shown in the picture, also provides a glimpse of the Xingsheng Bridge to the left.
Qianyu provides complimentary fruits and beverages, and the breakfast spread is generous. There are also many restaurants nearby.
The resort is close to Erhai Park, making it convenient for a morning stroll to Ernan for photos. Since it doesn't face Erdong, you can only capture a corner of the morning glow and the glistening lake.

I didn't do much research before booking; I just stumbled upon a recommendation on a social media platform, and the view looked so amazing that I booked it right away. First, let's talk about the location. Since I didn't read up much beforehand, I only realized upon arrival that there are very few dining options nearby – almost no restaurants at all. Luckily, we had rented a car, which made things a bit easier. The owner is incredibly thoughtful and provides excellent service, helping with luggage and giving great recommendations. The resident cat, Saipan, is a bit aloof but very good-tempered; you can pet him all you want. It's a shame I only stayed for a short time. The view from this room type is fantastic, and in the evening, with the lights on, it feels so warm and cozy. I hope to come back and stay for a few days next time when I'm not in a hurry. Oh, and the room is also super photogenic!

It's also only a few kilometers from the airport, which is super convenient. Couples will find it very relaxing here, as all rooms have king-size beds. JJovin_WongI had an absolutely wonderful stay at Dali Ancient Town Meishan Guesthouse, and it exceeded my expectations in every possible way.
Location – unbeatable and worry-free
The location is extremely convenient, right in the heart of Dali Ancient Town. As soon as you step outside, you’re surrounded by beautiful ancient streets and alleys, full of local character. 2-3 mins walk away from the Bars. Attractions, cafes, shops, and amazing food are all within walking distance, which made exploring incredibly easy and stress-free. From check-in to check-out, the entire stay felt completely worry-free.
Service – warm, genuine, and unforgettable
The biggest highlight of this guesthouse is without a doubt the host. The lady boss is unbelievably friendly, considerate, and welcoming. She is super nice, enthusiastic, and very meticulous in everything she does. From contacting me in advance, patiently explaining routes, to sharing travel tips and local suggestions, she made me feel taken care of even before I arrived. Staying here truly felt like coming home rather than staying at a guesthouse.
What made this stay truly special was the personal connection. She even invited me to join a barbecue with her and her friends. We had drinks, chatted late into the night, and shared stories about our cultures, life views, and experiences. Even though I only stayed for two nights, that evening made my time in Dali unforgettable. I felt incredibly lucky to have arrived back just in time for the barbecue.
The Bai Jiu, the Yi Zu-style barbecue pork, and the homemade dumplings she made were all fantastic. The atmosphere was relaxed, warm, and full of laughter. Even small details were fun, like the pot cover shaped like the Rolls-Royce Spirit of Ecstasy, which gave us a good laugh. It was one of those nights you don’t plan for, but it’s the highlight of the trip that you will remember for a long time. 😎
Room & Sleep Quality – quiet, comfortable, and well designed
The room itself was quiet and very comfortable, with good sound insulation and a thoughtful renovation design that blends modern comfort with traditional charm. The bedding was clean and high quality, and the bathroom was spotless and well equipped. I slept extremely well every night. The entire guesthouse is beautifully designed, cozy, and relaxing, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring.
Value – exquisite and worth every penny
This is a highly cost-effective and exquisite accommodation. You can see the attention to detail everywhere, from the design to the service. It perfectly balances the charm of the ancient town with modern convenience. It’s absolutely worth experiencing, and I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next trip.
Final thoughts
I returned home a few days ago, but when I think back on my trip to Yunnan, Dali still stands out as the most chill and relaxing place and Meishan Guesthouse is a big reason why. The friendly host, the warm atmosphere, and the meaningful conversations made this stay truly special.
If I could give 11 stars, I would. Hands down one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Highly, highly recommended. Will definitely be back!!!

The owner is incredibly thoughtful; they offer a pick-up service, and even reimbursed our taxi fare when we arrived. On the second morning, they brought breakfast directly to our room at 10 AM since we hadn't gotten up yet. We enjoyed breakfast in the room while watching squirrels hopping outside – the environment is truly wonderful. The owner also runs a tea business and even gave us some tea as a souvenir when we left. They truly made us feel at home.

The facilities are high-end, the room is very well equipped, the large floor-to-ceiling windows have a wide view, and the bathtub is simply enjoyable to watch the sunset. The environment is beautiful, the courtyard flowers and plants are scattered, and the sea view terrace is a blockbuster. The service is super intimate, the butler is warm and thoughtful, free luggage pick-up and drop-off, and fruit is also delivered. The hygiene is impeccable, the bedding is clean and soft, the daily deep cleaning, and even the corners are spotless. Definitely the first choice for a holiday on the Erhai Sea!
