GGuest UserThis stay is the best ever. Not only is the guesthouse clean and beautifully located right across from Erhai Lake. But what impressed me most was the hospitality and service—especially from Joy. From picking us up at the train station, to helping us arrange an EV bike rental (even though we eventually decided not to), to personally taking us to dinner and recommending dishes, trusting us with her dog Hamburg, and specially arranging for us to be dropped off at the station when we left even though she was busy with work. Joy made sure everything was well taken care of. She is a true asset to the guesthouse: friendly, sincere in her kind gestures without expecting anything in return, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. What we admire most is that Joy treats her dog as a family member. She is truly a person filled with loving kindness and will always be blessed for this.
The part we appreciated most was getting to spend quality time with her dog, Hamburg, who brought us so much happiness and filled our days with joy. Hamburg is a loving dog with a heart of gold. Anyone especially dog lovers would truly fall in love with him. Together, Joy and Hamburg make the best combination. They brought smiles and joy to us. They are the real assets of the place. We hope they will be greatly rewarded.

Great hospitality was also shown by others on the team. Miki served us breakfast every morning with a smile and was always at the reception keeping Hamburg company. She not only looks after him but also make sure he is in good hands, safe and happily running about. Miki carried Hamburg to bid us farewell. She also updated us on Hamburg's progress daily, which we greatly appreciated. knowing that he is happy made us happy.👍
Most importantly, the owner, Krystina, made us feel at home and welcomed. She has a warm personality, is friendly, and treats her staff like family. She is also in the midst of learning English for self-improvement. She has the willingness to learn and the kind of down-to-earth attitude that most hotel owners don't. We felt comfortable being with her, and she even hosted a farewell dinner for us. What we love most is that she is an animal lover and even included Hamburg in the dinner. She has a heart full of compassion. We had a great time together, and the night ended with smiles and laughter. We started as strangers but ended as friends.🙂
We were reluctant to leave after three nights, and if given the chance, we would love to extend our stay to a week in the future. This place is truly a gem, thanks to the wonderful management and the people behind it. We will surely recommend friends to your guesthouse—it is a gem hidden in Dali.

This homestay was a real gem we discovered on our trip to Dali; every aspect exceeded our expectations. My three kids and I absolutely loved it!
The most impressive part was definitely the breakfast – both the taste and presentation were top-notch. It was by far the best breakfast we had during our entire ten-plus day trip. The homestay's overall design and decor are stylish and trendy, and the rooms are spotlessly clean. The bedding is soft and comfortable, making for a truly relaxing stay. We stayed in the 'Wild Luxury Pool Suite,' which was outstanding. The beautiful private pool was our kids' favorite; it was so enjoyable and therapeutic. Our three nights and four days flew by, and the kids didn't want to leave.
The surrounding environment is elegant and tranquil, and the location is simply unbeatable, making it super convenient for exploring the ancient city.
The service from the hosts was meticulous and thoughtful, incredibly warm, making us feel right at home – a truly first-class experience. You can tell the owner genuinely puts their heart into running the place, with no perfunctory efforts at all.
Friends visiting Dali, go for it with your eyes closed, especially if you're a family with kids. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe room was very comfortable. I took a taxi to the hotel but the driver dropped me off under a big tree and I couldn't find the way. Fortunately, the boss came to pick me up. The bosses were super nice. The boss seemed to be a retired soldier, so I felt very safe. Hehe! As soon as I entered the door, I was amazed by the small courtyard! The room is beautiful and clean, and I am very satisfied overall! ! Dali, a place full of redemption! The scenery is beautiful, the food, accommodation and people you meet are all very comfortable. It is a city you will fall in love with over and over again! Thank you for your care, I will come to your house next time I come to Dali and wish you a prosperous business.

GGuest UserWe chose this hotel after seeing photos of the amazing views from its rooms - and we were not disappointed. The hotel is located in a high rise residential apartment complex, and situated in between the east and west banks of Erhai lake. You could see both banks clearly from the balcony, with Cangshan serving as the backdrop.
Service was personal and wonderful too. We had our rooms upgraded for free to a bigger one, and the staff gave many useful recommendations of local restaurants, attractions and bike rental - very very handy for cycling Erhai lake (the bike shop she recommended was professional and provided high quality bikes which enabled us to go halfway around the lake, and could be returned at a different location). She also made us tea personally upon request, and offered to teach us teamaking.
Overall, a very pleasant stay with nothing to complain about. Will recommend this hotel to fellow travellers who are looking to stay in a less touristy part of Dali, away from the ancient town area, with amazing views from the hotel itself.

WWudiniangaozaiThis guesthouse was one of the accommodations I was most looking forward to during my trip to Dali, and I'm so glad it met my expectations! I didn't do much research before booking; I just stumbled upon a recommendation on a social media platform, and the view looked so amazing that I booked it right away. First, let's talk about the location. Since I didn't read up much beforehand, I only realized upon arrival that there are very few dining options nearby – almost no restaurants at all. Luckily, we had rented a car, which made things a bit easier. The owner is incredibly thoughtful and provides excellent service, helping with luggage and giving great recommendations. The resident cat, Saipan, is a bit aloof but very good-tempered; you can pet him all you want. It's a shame I only stayed for a short time. The view from this room type is fantastic, and in the evening, with the lights on, it feels so warm and cozy. I hope to come back and stay for a few days next time when I'm not in a hurry. Oh, and the room is also super photogenic!

GGuest UserThis absolutely deserves a full score for a sea-view guesthouse! The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer a direct view of Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain. You can watch the sunrise from your bed and see the sunset paint the lake. The 270-degree unobstructed view totally exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft, and all the bathroom amenities were provided. Both the guesthouse's terrace and courtyard are perfect for photos, and it's just a few steps out to the Erhai Ecological Corridor, which is super convenient for walks or cycling. The owner was incredibly warm and thoughtful, taking care of pickup and breakfast with great attention to detail. This was the most satisfying stay I've had in Dali. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Erhai Lake. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserI've been to Dali several times, but this is my first time staying in a traditional-style courtyard like this. The owner keeps the courtyard meticulously maintained, and there are two adorable little cats – truly an ideal cat life!
They have a good variety of room types, and there's also a large terrace on the third floor where you can overlook the distant Cangshan Mountain.
But the service here is what really stands out. Everyone affectionately calls the owner 'Sister Mo.' From booking to checking out, she was incredibly warm and friendly, offering many great recommendations for restaurants and touring routes that won't disappoint. In the mornings, you can even enjoy Sister Mo's unique Zajiangmian (Sichuan meat sauce noodles) breakfast, which perfectly suits a Sichuan palate.
I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit. It's very close to the ancient city but without the hustle and bustle, making it super convenient for getting around.

MmandaKKKThis hotel and room were the best out of all the places we chose to stay in Dali 🎉 no regrets at all. It's very accessible, has spacious rooms, and the views are absolutely stunning. We loved it so much that we regretted only staying for one night. The location is super convenient, with lots of shops, restaurants, and activities right downstairs. You can watch the sunset in the morning and enjoy the night views in the evening, with people playing guitars and such ❤️🥺. The staff provided excellent service. Before check-in, they messaged us on Trip.com and then added us on WeChat. They even helped us carry our luggage from the convenience store to the hotel (as cars couldn't go in). Upon arrival, we were greeted with a fruit platter, afternoon tea, and small cakes! We absolutely loved it and highly recommend staying here when you visit Dali for a wonderful experience ❤️.

Rooms were spacious with expansive views, and the setting was private and tranquil. The courtyard design was exquisite, and the evening lighting was incredibly romantic. Service was incredibly attentive; from check-in to check-out, the staff were always smiling and ready to assist. They even helped us arrange transportation and book tickets. Cleanliness was exceptional; towels and bath towels were replaced daily, and everything was thoroughly sanitized, making our stay completely worry-free and reassuring. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Dali!
