AAnonymous UserThe B&B was super clean and comfortable, the room was spacious, and it felt just like home – so cozy! The owner was also incredibly warm and attentive. They even showed us how to rent an electric scooter to explore the ancient city, which was super convenient. Dali Ancient City is right across the street. We also found lots of local snacks at Sanyue Street. There's even a washing machine available upstairs for laundry. And the best part? We had a view of the snowy mountains from our room. Basically, if you're not planning on going to the eastern route, you don't need to hire a private car; an electric scooter is enough. If you're planning on driving yourself, remember to apply for an international driving permit in advance.

GGuest UserThis guesthouse is located in Dali Old Town, offering a peaceful retreat despite being close to all the action. It's also super convenient for getting to other attractions by taxi. The owner seems to be a local, and since it was my parents' first time in Dali, they gave us tons of really helpful travel tips. My parents and I felt very comfortable and at ease staying here. I highly recommend it to everyone!

GGuest UserThe B&B was spotless and well-maintained with excellent facilities. The environment was beautiful, and the rooftop terrace offered stunning views of the Cangshan sunrise and sunset, overlooking the ancient city – truly delightful. The room was bathed in warm sunlight, and enjoying tea while gazing at the ancient city from the bay window was a real treat. The owners were incredibly kind, warm, and genuine, always ready to help with any request. They gave us practical tips and food recommendations that didn't disappoint. There's also a very friendly dog named Wangcai and two adorable cats. When we left, they even helped us with our checked luggage, showing genuine care for their guests. I'll definitely recommend this place to friends and will choose it again if I ever return. I'm currently in a Lijiang B&B, unable to sleep, and the contrast makes me miss that place even more – it had a special kind of warmth.

MmandypandaView from the accoms is unbeatable and amazing. The rooms were big and comfortable. Staff were very receptive to our queries and very helpful. We were able to arrange for a driver and also transport to the train station via the staff. The rooms were on the 2nd and 4th floor so heavy luggages were a little challenging but the staff were always helpful with that. The quieter location along the lake was very enjoyable. There are some cafes, restaurants, convenient store just a short walk away but the area is generally still less busy as compared to the popular S-bend (S 弯). But that means the location was a less convenient for ride hailing and further away from attractions. Something to consider when travelling out of the accoms.

SSam AussiOur stay at this mini hotel near Erhai Lake was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The hospitality was outstanding, with the owner and their friends and family creating a beautiful evening gathering that we will never forget. The delicious noodles, fruits and the morning Pu'er tea were delightful touches that added to the overall experience. The hotel itself is new and beautifully designed, blending modern amenities with the rich traditions of a courtyard setting. The rooms were immaculate, superbly clean, and very comfortable, equipped with everything a traveler could need. They even helped us park our car nearby, which was very convenient. The star of it all was the wonderful lady owner. She was always ready to jump up and help with whatever we needed. We don't speak Chinese, but communication was easy using online translation. In the morning owner took us for a walk near Erhai Lake, which was a memorable highlight of our stay. The location of the hotel is perfect, situated between the rice fields and the lake shore, just a one-minute walk to the boardwalk along the lake. We left feeling amazed and recharged, and we sincerely hope that our travels will bring us back to this wonderful hotel near Dali ancient city again.

GGuest UserI stayed at Chunri Homestay for several days during the Chinese New Year. The owners are incredibly kind and thoughtful! They not only gave us a detailed travel itinerary but also carefully recommended delicious and affordable restaurants nearby. They even took us to Wuwu Temple for a vegetarian meal. The guesthouse rooms are decorated with a lot of character, and the surroundings are beautiful. The most important thing, though, is the human touch – the owner's wife made us tea, and the owner picked us up in his car. Plus, we could ride free electric scooters around every day, which was a lot of fun! I absolutely have to recommend this place, and I'll definitely be back!

GGuest UserThe hotel is just 3 km from Dali Railway Station.If you are using the train,this hotel is one of the best options. I booked a room facing the lake. The view is awesome. There is a lift. The room and toilet are clean. There are basic amenities like body shower, toothbrush,hair shampoo,comb, mineral water,kettle and tv provided. I get free breakfast. They serve plain porridge with condiments, boiled egg,steam corn and sweet potatoes,bread and buns,fresh fruits and warm soy milk.The food is yummy and delicious. Didi is available all the time and easy to assess from the hotel.You may also be greeted by fresh fruit sellers outside the hotel.We do buy some fresh grapes. The hotel reception Ms Xiao Yang is very friendly and helpful.She helped to book Didi to Muslim restaurant for us.We also asked her for help to order a packed lunch because it was raining and we couldn't get out. Despite her work shift ending,she still waited for us to make sure we were safely back to the railway station. I hope her boss will recognise the hospitality she showed. I recommend this hotel to tourists. You will not hear the noise outside the hotel during your stay. Hopefully the management can put the hotel name signboard in english so it is easier for tourists to book Didi. Overall I was satisfied with the room and the warm hospitality the hotel provides. Thank you so much Ms Xiao Yang for your endless help.

GGuest UserWe rented the Garden Deluxe Room, with a mountain view. We find the description and pictures were accurately advertised, and the service was impeccable. We were very pleased with our rental, as it was private, clean and orderly. The hotel is conveniently located within the Dali Ancient Town, close to Biai Road and Renmin Road intersection (see picture of map). The morning and night views from the terrace were stunning. The Dali Ancient Town is as lively as you would imagine, with tons of food and shopping options. Our experience in Dali was awesome, with it's majestic mountains, beautiful lake, vibrant towns and peaceful villages. However, the best part of this stay was our interactions with the hotel owners, who are a lovely couple. They are good people - very kind, helpful and approachable. Although we had to use an English to Mandarin translation app for most of our conversations, they were patient and made recommendations that we really enjoyed. They helped us book a tour of Erhai Lake and we had a wonderful time sightseeing with the bus tour company (highly recommended if you don't know where to start exploring). We also took their scooter bike to explore the Three Pagodas on our own and drove around the lake afterwards. Please consider renting their scooter bike, as it was super fun and the price is very affordable. As language is a barrier for us, they not only helped us book our ride to Lijiang, but they also gave us a hotel recommendation, which their son runs. To us, they are very trustworthy, so we're sure we will have another pleasant stay in Lijiang. After all, it's not how clean the hotel is, or how beautiful the surroundings are, it's the people we meet along the way that makes it a wonderul trip experience. If there is another hotel rating for overall hotel experience, it would be a 10/5 for us. The owners definitely made our short stay very comfortable and our adventures amazing - thank you so much! We would definitely come back to this hotel if we are in this area again!

PPierre-AlexisWe had an amazing time here ! The house is beautiful, well decorated, clean and quiet. The location is also super good (everything in town is walkable from here). The owner is just a lovely guy, super friendly, chill, happy to help you and to share some good moments with you (despite the language barrier, but it worked well with a translator). We met some of the owner's friends and we shared so much time all together, everyone was so welcoming with us, one of the best memory of our travel. Thanks again for all, we'll come back for sure ! ❤️🍺

DdrewngtExactly as pictured. I had an excellent stay and the host was able to speak English + happy to communicate via WeChat for ease of translation. They were also kind enough to let me change rooms to avoid smoke due to my asthma. Water is free. Location is perfectly in the centre of Dali Ancient City - short walks to parks, markets, temples, etc.!!!
