Hotel Indigo DALI ERHAI by IHG

The location is impeccable, and the view is absolutely stunning, offering a picturesque panorama of Erhai Lake. The service was warm and welcoming. However, I was a bit confused by the room type differentiation – I couldn't really tell the difference between the 140-degree and 180-degree views; they seemed almost identical.

Location: The hotel boasts an excellent location, directly facing Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain. You can enjoy stunning views of Erhai Lake right from your bed. Cleanliness: The room was very clean, and there was even a complimentary mini-bar. Service: The staff were all very enthusiastic and attentive. Miss Seven even upgraded our room type for free! We're absolutely delighted!

Pretty good! The service was excellent and it was quite clean. There are so many guesthouses, it's hard to choose, but picking one like this is probably a safe bet.

I visited Dali during the rainy season, so the weather was damp and wet. Luckily, I booked a stay at the Indigo. The hotel's breakfast buffet was delicious and offered great value for money. My room faced Erhai Lake, and the air quality inside was excellent. The best part, though, was the toddler pool. My nearly two-year-old loved playing in it every day. During the rainy season, it truly felt like I could just stay at the hotel all day without needing to go out!

The views are absolutely stunning, and the gym on the 11th floor has an amazing panorama. The staff were all incredibly welcoming and helpful, living up to the Indigo standard I've come to expect.

The environment is great, both in the rooms and the lobby, and the hotel faces the sea directly. There aren't many hotels like this in Dali, and I've wanted to stay here for a while. The service has been excellent from the moment we arrived, starting with the doorman. The breakfast is really abundant and the setting is lovely too. While there are many good guesthouses in Dali, the hotel's buffet breakfast is a definite plus.

This hotel is located by Erhai Lake, offering beautiful and peaceful scenery. The enormous floor-to-ceiling windows face the lake, allowing you to enjoy the stunning views of Erhai Lake right from your bed. All the hotel facilities are excellent, and the heated swimming pool on the 11th floor also boasts amazing views. There are a few good restaurants conveniently located next to the hotel. Both the front desk and room service are top-notch, truly five-star standard. Erhai Park is right next to the hotel, where you can hike and get a panoramic view of Erhai Lake from higher ground.

This hotel is love at first sight! Great location, excellent facilities, and attentive service. You get a 140-degree sea view and can even spot the S-shaped street, all for a great value. While many B&Bs look lovely in their ads, the lack of an elevator can be a real hassle. An elevator in a high-rise building is truly a lifesaver. Stick with established hotels – they're much more reliable.
