Staying in Shenzhen for a short stopover from Hong Kong, I simply made a casual note on my booking that it was my wife's birthday, without expecting any special arrangements. So, I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the room to find it decorated for a birthday, complete with a mini cake. During my stay, if I had any issues and contacted Joy, she was always prompt and efficient in her responses and problem-solving, never perfunctory. The room cleaning was very thorough; it wasn't just superficially clean. The bedding was comfortable, and there was no standing water or grime in the bathroom corners, which made for a truly comfortable stay. The room itself was spacious and bright, and all the facilities I used daily worked smoothly. It was a very pleasant experience to relax in the room. When needed, issues were also handled immediately. The hotel's location is also very convenient. Getting a taxi or finding a restaurant is hassle-free. It's just a 5-minute walk to Coco Park and Ping An Finance Center, saving a lot of commuting time for out-of-town visitors. Overall, it was a very genuine stay, without unnecessary frills. This small birthday gesture left a very good impression.

I stayed in a river view room in the West Tower this time, with a view of Hong Kong across the river. Pros: * Well-decorated and good facilities * Very quiet, perfect for relaxation * Spacious room -- Overall, a great stay experience. Cons: * The room lighting was a bit dim. * You have to change elevators on the fifth floor, and walking down is a bit inconvenient. * Food delivery doesn't come up to the room; you have to go down and pick it up yourself. * The hotel's location isn't very close to the subway station; walking there involves a somewhat secluded road. I'd recommend taking a taxi.

I chose this hotel because I was going to Hong Kong 🇭🇰, and it was so convenient! It's just a 100-meter walk to Futian Railway Station, and the subway is also easily accessible. My child really wanted to take the subway, so we went to Hong Kong. The two round trips were really unpleasant. This place is part of China, yet you have to put up with the attitudes of the people there; they look so impatient, as if we mainlanders owe them something. Without our mainland fish, how would your economy grow? I'll never go there again. Shenzhen is much better, with great food and a relaxed atmosphere. The hotel was good too 👍. Seeing Hong Kong people coming to Shenzhen to spend money, it makes you realize how much more affordable the mainland is. A bowl of noodles in Hong Kong costs over a hundred, and everything is expensive. I'll definitely come back to Shenzhen for food, drinks, and fun. Happy! There were no crowds at Disneyland during the summer vacation 🤗, and there will be fewer and fewer people in the future. Welcome to Shanghai Disneyland, where you don't have to deal with anyone's bad attitude; just let loose and have fun!

This time, I chose this hotel for a family trip, and the overall stay was excellent. Sahar, Molly, and Bella were incredibly friendly and patient. They gave us practical advice, considering we were a family traveling together, and were very responsive to our needs. Their service was attentive and thoughtful, and they were kind and polite. The hotel's location is very convenient, the room was clean and tidy, and the environment was quiet and comfortable. My family was very satisfied with their stay. The overall service experience was fantastic, five-star recommended, and I'll definitely choose this place again for future family trips!

My overall experience at the Crowne Plaza Shenzhen Futian was excellent this time. During my stay, there was an unusual noise coming from the air conditioning in my room. After I called to report it, duty manager Zain responded immediately. He patiently listened to my concerns, sincerely apologized, and promptly coordinated with the engineering department to inspect the room. He followed up on the progress throughout, proactively offering a suitable solution. His service was both professional and thoughtful. The hotel rooms are spacious and clean, the environment is quiet, and the location is excellent, making travel very convenient. The hotel truly showcases the service heritage of a long-standing five-star establishment; they don't shirk responsibility when facing customer complaints and handle issues efficiently and appropriately. I'd especially like to commend duty manager Zain for his excellent crisis management skills, approachable demeanor, and thoughtful handling of affairs. I stay at this hotel several times a year, and when I visit Shenzhen again, I will continue to choose Crowne Plaza Futian. I also highly recommend it to other travelers!

This hotel's location is right in the heart of Beijing. It's a 5-minute walk to the Line 1 and Line 2 subway entrances, directly across the street, making it super convenient to get to famous attractions like Wangfujing and Tiananmen Square. The hotel lobby has a very luxurious feel. The bedding in the rooms is clean and high-quality, and the electric curtains add a nice touch. What I really loved was the toilet with all its functions. I expected dining at a five-star hotel like this to be quite expensive, but I was genuinely surprised by the affordable prices. Three or four waitstaff rotated to serve dishes and pour tea, and the Peking duck was many times better than some other famous duck restaurants. Both the hotel facilities and the quality of the staff reflect the high and professional management standards of this hotel. If you're coming to Beijing, you must stay at Hotel New Otani Chang Fu Gong!

Our long-awaited summer family trip to Beijing, with the New Otani Hotel as our base, turned out to be a relaxed and enjoyable journey. Located in the heart of Chongwenmen, the hotel boasts an excellent prime location. This historic hotel, having weathered the years, has shed its extravagance to offer a truly solid and comfortable stay. The rooms are clean and bright, with good soundproofing, allowing us to rest peacefully at night after days of sightseeing. The girls at the front desk were exceptionally polite; seeing that we were traveling with children and seniors, they thoughtfully upgraded our room – another pleasant surprise during our trip. The staff were patient and attentive, striking just the right balance. The concierge service for luggage storage was convenient, and food delivery to the room was quick and easy, with Mr. Guan Longhai providing meticulous service. The housekeeping staff, Xiao Rui and Sister Haiyan, were also kind-hearted and down-to-earth. Checkout was swift; simply handing the room card to the front desk staff was all that was needed. We'll definitely bring our child to stay here again on our next visit to Beijing.

The room felt a bit dated, but it was spotless, and the view was fantastic – you could see both the China World Trade Center and the Forbidden City. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly helpful, opening doors and assisting with luggage. Even though our room wasn't ready yet, they stored our bags for us, which was wonderful. The hotel also gave us a complimentary soup. We saw some dim sum at the restaurant and ordered: pineapple buns, shrimp rice rolls, and roasted pigeon… My child absolutely loved every dish, even saying the roasted pigeon was better than Peking duck! A pleasant surprise: After dinner in Dongdan one evening, our taxi ride back to the hotel passed through Tiananmen Square, allowing us to enjoy the night view. The location is definitely a big advantage. In summary: I thought it would be just an old hotel, but every detail showed thoughtfulness and provided delightful surprises. Choosing this hotel made our trip so comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you to every dedicated and enthusiastic staff member at Capital Hotel for making our journey feel so safe and pleasant.

During my middle school entrance exam, I needed a quiet place to rest during the day. The hotel specifically assigned us to the 12th floor, which was very quiet. The hotel itself was very clean. The staff on our floor, Tang Yan and Liu Yongqiang, were incredibly friendly and responsible. Knowing I was an exam taker, they made sure my room was ready in advance so I could rest peacefully. The location is super convenient, but the facilities are quite old. Plus, with the construction of the large bridge/overpass, they work overtime late into the night, which can be noisy. Being close to the train station, when traffic jams, people honk their horns intentionally until very late, which is pretty loud. The pool, while not exceptional, is decent. However, an annual pass is a bit too expensive.

Coincidentally, a typhoon hit, and my original plan was to travel to areas around Shenzhen for the weekend. Due to the typhoon and high-speed rail cancellations, I had to change my plans and opted for a staycation in Shenzhen. I was drawn to THE LANGHAM's unique British charm, and after much deliberation, I chose this hotel. Although it's been open for a while, I was a bit worried the facilities might be outdated. However, comparing it to the most beautiful lounges in London, I impulsively booked an executive room. Upon arrival, a small hiccup delayed my check-in. Afterward, a thoughtful male staff member at the front desk noticed and guided us to the executive lounge on the 22nd floor to check in. There, Peter, who assisted us, was incredibly warm and demonstrated the professionalism expected of high-end hotel staff. He thoughtfully asked about our preferences and led us to a comfortable spot in the lounge. Throughout our time, the lounge staff — Emily, Via, Yulia, and Caron — also showcased what a 'most beautiful lounge' should be, with attentive service and impeccable attire. The variety of drinks and other offerings in the lounge was extensive; we basically didn't want to leave. Stepping into the room, a strong British ambiance immediately enveloped us, truly reflecting the brand's unique character. The room offered panoramic views of Shenzhen Bay through its 180-degree floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing us to experience the city's vibrancy even from bed. The hotel breakfast was also rich and varied; I tried the beef noodles, which were excellent, and the desserts were a big plus. Thanks to the professional service and the brand's distinctive style, I felt the joy of a vacation without even leaving Shenzhen. THE LANGHAM is truly worth it!

The hotel boasts an elegant environment, making you feel like you have an entire mountain to yourself. Built into the hillside, the two-bedroom suite we booked this time was located mid-mountain. The hotel community has complete facilities, and the main entrance is fenced off with a gate, so the security is reassuring and makes you feel very safe. The shuttle service uses Voyah commercial vans, which are super comfortable! The staff helped with our luggage, which was very thoughtful and attentive. Facilities: The kids' playground was a bit disappointing. One slide was under maintenance, and there was no trampoline, just building blocks and such – not much to play with. It was worse than what I expected from a family-friendly hotel's children's facilities. The pool was great and clean. The hot spring pools were also a lot of fun. However, the outdoor area only opens at 10:30 AM and the slides close around 5 PM. In Beijing's summer, it's impossible to play when it's at its hottest; you'd get roasted. And it closes before it even gets dark. It's a bit of a shame that we couldn't fully enjoy the outdoor slide pool. Cleanliness: Clean. Service: Very good and enthusiastic. Kevin, our butler, helped us solve all sorts of problems throughout our stay. Many thanks to him. Environment: Right next to Wanda Plaza, so no worries about food and drinks. It was very convenient. The hotel lobby bar was also good, with decent standards.

It was freezing outside in winter, but super warm inside – I felt like I could wear a T-shirt, the air conditioning was excellent. The service was generally great. My child threw a beanbag up onto the ceiling, which was about three or four meters high, and the hotel staff even managed to get it down for us. I'm very grateful for that. I deducted 0.5 points for service because the front desk staff seemed clueless; when I asked where to feed the alpacas, they said they didn't know and that it was handled by the hot springs area, implying it wasn't under their management. They mentioned the hot springs and entertainment were outsourced. However, we found the alpacas just a short distance outside the hotel lobby entrance, along with geese, ducks, and chickens. There were three large and two small alpacas, and they were adorable. Do bring them some carrots and greens; they looked quite hungry. For breakfast, go early, before 8 AM, as it's very abundant. If you go later, you'll miss out on the delicious cream cakes. Dinner was a buffet due to New Year's, and the seafood was quite fresh for the hotpot. The hot springs were a bit crowded, but the kids had a good time, mostly hitting each other with ocean balls. There weren't many indoor hot spring pools, making it a bit cramped. The temperatures were all high, but it was very clean. They said there were outdoor pools too, but we didn't go as it was too cold.

The height of the chairs and tables is a bit mismatched; you sink in quite a bit when you sit down. The bunk beds were a hit with the kids. Plus, there's a private indoor hot spring in the room, which is free and quite nice. The hotel breakfast is pretty average, with the variety and taste on par with a 3-star hotel in the city center. The hot spring is connected to the hotel, and you can re-enter until noon the next day by registering your room number. However, you do need to exchange your entry wristband.

They upgraded my room, which had a lovely city view, and I could even see the mountains and sea in the distance in the morning. The room facilities were complete and clean. The only minor issue was that the kettle was inconveniently tucked away in the cupboard. Also, it was crowded on the weekend, so I couldn't check in immediately upon arrival and had to store my luggage as I was in a hurry to go out. I only managed to check in around 7 or 8 PM. On Monday, I could only get a late check-out until 2 PM, not a full 24-hour stay from check-in, so I had to check out early and wait at the train station. However, overall, I recommend it. The location and the staff's service attitude are truly commendable.

This hotel truly lives up to its name as a family-friendly resort. The staff at all levels are incredibly kind and friendly, providing exceptional service. Everyone greets you with a warm smile. I want to give a special thank you to my room attendant, Aggie, for her meticulous care. She treated us like family, being both friendly and polite. She helped us resolve every issue that came up during our stay promptly and efficiently, and ensured all the room facilities were perfectly arranged. She deserves high praise! The room was tidy and clean, with ample facilities. If we needed anything added or replaced, we could contact the room attendant immediately, and the efficiency was absolutely superb. The most attractive feature is undoubtedly the hotel's beach pool. The kids played all day and didn't want to leave. The soft white sand was specially imported from Hainan Island. The lifeguards tirelessly watched over the children's safety in the pool, even under the hot sun. Don't miss out on the other kids' play facilities either. The hotel's breakfast buffet is also a must-try; it was a pleasant surprise, especially the freshly squeezed customizable fruit and vegetable juices. The variety of food could rival a dinner buffet. To fully enjoy these exquisite facilities and delicious food, it's best to stay for several days.

Too many people on the weekend. We had to queue to check in at 5:30 PM and for breakfast too, which was decent. The coffee was great! We came to Shuibei specifically for my birthday to buy jewelry, and the concierge even sent a birthday card and fruit. However, it's an old hotel, and the facilities are showing their age. You have to transfer elevators on the 96th floor, and the toilet was really old-fashioned and uncomfortable to use. There were almost no child-friendly amenities, and the pool was tiny, so my child was very bored. We're definitely staying at the new hotel in Shenzhen Bay next time.

Room: Excellent! 👍 The room was spacious and bright, and the high-floor view was fantastic. It was so relaxing to sit inside and watch the sea. The twin beds were easy to push together, making it very family-friendly for those with kids. Location: Unbeatable! ❤️ Our main goal this Dragon Boat Festival was to explore the Yantian coastline. The hotel is super close to the subway, making Dameisha, Xiaomeisha, and Xichong all easily accessible by metro. It was also convenient to walk to Yating Bay to catch the Haishan Line to Enshang Wetland Park. We had a very fulfilling three-day holiday. Facilities: The hotel isn't specifically geared towards families, so we only tried the pool, which was good. However, with One City Mall right downstairs, you have everything you need, which is incredibly convenient. Breakfast: Very satisfied! 😘 Everything was great, except for a bit of a wait during peak hours. They had freshly made wontons and waffles, as well as fresh squeezed juice. All the breads were delicious. Overall, highly recommended! ~

Fantastic central location, right opposite People's Square, close to 3 metro lines including Line 2 which goes almost everywhere (and to the airport in 1 hour), and connected to a huge shopping mall adjacent to the hotel. We had a late arrival due to a flight delay, but the staff was available for check-in. The breakfast was magnificent with a great selection of savory, sweet, Chinese, and continental options – something for everyone, plus superb freshly squeezed orange juice. The family suite was immense, though a bit dated, but it suited us perfectly. Housekeeping was done daily. I was able to communicate with the concierge via WeChat beforehand, and they were very kind. The only reason I'm not giving a 10/10 is that we didn't receive any information about dining at the hotel's restaurants, visiting the bar, or going to the swimming pool. For the pool, we had to find its location ourselves, and it was complicated to figure out which floor it was on relative to our building. We were on the 9th floor: we had to go down to the 8th floor, cross into the adjacent building where the 8th floor became the 6th, and then go up to the 8th floor of the new building 😛 It was hard to figure out and understand where we needed to go. The pool and jacuzzi are great and felt wonderful after a day of sightseeing. Swim caps are mandatory but provided by the lifeguard if you don't have one. There's a magnificent view from the bar located in the upper tower, even if the elevator is tricky to find for going up or down.

I was in Shanghai for a business trip + a short-term stay, and I immediately knew I had to choose Ascott Huaihai Road Shanghai! This is definitely a perfect choice for serviced apartments in the heart of Shanghai, combining high-end quality, home-like comfort, and thoughtful service. Whether it's for a long-term business stay, a family trip, or a short vacation, it's an irreplaceable optimal solution 💫. 📍 Prime Location, Exploring Shanghai Made Easy The apartment is located in the core commercial district of Huaihai Middle Road, adjacent to Hong Kong Plaza, K11, and Xintiandi. Downstairs, you'll find a bustling commercial area, providing one-stop shopping, dining, and coffee experiences. The subway system is extensive, with multiple lines (1, 8, 13, 14) converging, making it incredibly convenient to get to the Bund, Lujiazui, and Nanjing Road. It truly offers the best of both worlds: stepping out into vibrancy while enjoying tranquility in the city center. No need to rush for business commutes or sightseeing. 🏠 Newly Renovated Units, Spacious and Homey The suite I stayed in had a clear and well-designed layout. The soft furnishings, newly renovated in 2026, were incredibly tasteful! The decor featured stylish light gray and natural wood, creating a minimalist yet luxurious feel without being overly flamboyant. The entire unit had solid wood flooring, making it clean and odor-free, with a fantastic ambiance. The expansive panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows were the biggest highlight. From a high floor with unobstructed views, I could admire the magic city's skyline during the day and overlook the dazzling nightscape, with the Lujiazui 'Three-Piece Suit' (iconic skyscrapers) fully visible. I could lie in bed and enjoy Shanghai's stunning night lights 🌃. The layout was extremely well-partitioned, with separate living room and bedroom areas, avoiding the cramped feeling of a hotel room. The walk-in closet offered excellent storage, equipped with a safe and ironing facilities, perfectly accommodating travel needs. The bathroom featured a three-way dry/wet separation, with both a shower and a bathtub. The vanity area was spacious and tidy, and the toiletries were high-quality. A relaxing bath at the end of the day completely washed away fatigue, adding to the joy of the stay. 🍳 Fully Equipped Home Amenities, More Convenient Than Home Unlike ordinary hotels, the apartment is equipped with a full set of built-in kitchen appliances, including cooking utensils, a refrigerator, and a microwave. For short stays, you can prepare simple meals, and for long stays, you can enjoy the freedom of cooking, completely avoiding the feeling of making do while traveling. The whole apartment has central air conditioning + a constant temperature system, providing balanced and comfortable temperatures. A washer-dryer combo is also provided, making daily laundry super convenient, perfect for medium to long-term stays. 💪 Comprehensive Public Facilities, Balancing Leisure and Business The apartment offers exceptionally complete public facilities, including a heated swimming pool, a professional gym, a tennis court, and a yoga studio. Daily fitness and exercise can be done without leaving the premises, allowing you to maintain your routine even while on a business trip. There's an exclusive residents' lounge and meeting rooms, catering to business negotiations and temporary office needs. You can seamlessly switch between relaxation and business, perfectly suiting the pace of elite travelers. 🤍 Five-Star Attentive Service, High-End Details Everywhere What impressed me most was Ascott's exclusive service! There's 24-hour front desk + concierge + security staff on duty, ensuring timely responses around the clock and high safety and security for entry and exit, making it incredibly reassuring for solo travelers and female guests. The apartment provides free whole-house cleaning and linen changes twice a week, so you don't have to tidy up the room yourself, keeping it clean and fresh at all times. The staff were gentle and meticulous, responding super quickly. Whether it was adjusting room equipment, daily inquiries, or emergency assistance, they were patient, efficient, and highly professional. Intelligent services are integrated throughout, with robot delivery to your door, making it convenient and private. Every detail made the stay comfortable and pleasant. ✅ Summary of a Perfect Stay Experience In the heart of Shanghai, where every inch is precious, it's truly rare to find a serviced apartment with such an excellent location, spaciousness, complete facilities, and attentive service! It lacks the cold rigidity of a hotel and is full of healing, home-like warmth. It's high-end without being ostentatious, refined, and eminently livable. Whether for business trips, family stays, or long-term rentals, it is undoubtedly the top choice in the Huaihai Road and Xintiandi area of Shanghai ✨.

Upon check-in, we received two bath salts and a bathtub liner. The bath salts' scent was barely noticeable due to the large size of the tub. This stay far exceeded my expectations! The hotel gave us a free room upgrade, and the overall environment felt like a hidden paradise, incredibly peaceful. Our room faced the lavender park, and even though the park itself seemed a bit neglected, the fresh air and open views made for a very comfortable stay. ✨ **Highlights to absolutely rave about:** 1. **Disney shuttle service is top-notch.** The hotel provides brand-new, clean 7-seater business vans, and the staff handling the transfers were attentive, efficient, and thoughtful. Returning from the park at 9:30 PM, there was massive traffic congestion and countless tourists unable to find a ride. In contrast, the hotel's shuttle service was simply perfect, making this service alone feel worth the price. 2. **Excellent hardware and environmental quality.** The hotel's overall decor and room facilities are well-maintained, hygiene details are spot-on, and the soundproofing is superb. It's truly a haven away from the hustle and bustle, offering excellent rest after a day of sightseeing. 3. **Convenient location.** It's very close to Bicester Village, making dining and shopping incredibly easy. I highly recommend checking out the Xinjiang restaurant in the mall; the ingredients are fresh and the value for money is outstanding. ⚠️ **Minor areas for improvement:** The only drawback was the limited breakfast selection, which didn't quite meet five-star hotel dining standards. If they could upgrade the breakfast variety and enrich the food choices, even if the price per night increased to 1500 RMB, I'd still be more than willing to pay, as the hotel's other hardware, service, and environment are all exceptional. The front desk service was mediocre, with staff appearing rather cold. 📌 **Practical tips for your stay:** Food delivery services cannot reach the rooms, so guests can either dine directly at the shopping center across the street or bring some snacks and drinks in advance. Overall, the minor flaws are overshadowed by the positives; apart from the breakfast, there's almost nothing to complain about. Highly recommended for those visiting Disney.

The breakfast in the morning is very good, it is self-service, and there are freshly made noodles to eat. If you are thirsty, you can go downstairs at any time to have some drinks and fruits, which are all included in the hotel package. Why the deduction? Like many reviews wrote, the water in the pool here is really too hot. It is the hottest of all the hot springs in Shanghai that I have been to. It feels too hot. I saw that several children could hardly soak in the water for a while. I don’t know why so many people complained. I saw that the management was still saying in the comments that it met the hot spring temperature requirements. What they said is that your water is too hot, and they are giving you suggestions. Everyone in the hot spring said that the water was hot, not that you violated any regulations... It takes talent to reply like this

Dolores provided great service, making check-in very fast. There's also a turndown service. When I called the front desk because my foot was chafed, they quickly sent up band-aids and alcohol swabs. I've been staying at the Peace Hotel for ten years now. I've celebrated my proposal, anniversaries, and birthdays here, and now with the birth of my child, we still come back every year for birthdays or anniversaries. This year, after moving abroad, I brought my family back to visit and chose the Peace Hotel again. The service has improved even further. From the moment we entered, the bellhops and front desk staff were incredibly attentive. We arrived at 10:30 AM, and because we had two young children, one only 10 months old, the front desk allowed us to check in early to rest. They then arranged for a baby cot, bathtub, bottle warmer, children's toiletries, and baby care products. Every interaction showed incredible care and attention to detail. I'm so grateful to all the staff for helping us have a perfect holiday. Finally, a special shout-out to the greeters at the entrance. Because there are so many tourists wanting to come in and look around, they constantly have to ask if people are guests or dining. The doors were almost constantly opening and closing, and questions being asked throughout the evening. Thank you!

Plus, the location is super convenient, with an M&M's store and Pop Mart downstairs! It's also close to the subway, making it incredibly convenient for both family and business trips. Check-in was a bit frustrating. The person ahead of me had an issue with their booking channel that took 20 minutes to resolve, and the front desk didn't bother to open another queue. I had to re-queue myself. Their problem-solving skills definitely need improvement. The Bund view from the hotel, however, was no joke – genuinely good. Note that the West Building only offers views of the Oriental Pearl Tower; for a view of the entire financial district, you absolutely need to book the East Building. It poured rain the day I was there, completely ruining the river view, which was a bit of a waste. The shower stall was cramped to fit a bathtub, making it even smaller than those in budget hotels. Parking is free, and you just cross the street from the underground garage to reach the riverside, which is convenient.

Check-in was very efficient. Summer at the front desk was so thoughtful; she proactively informed us about the scenic advantages of higher floor rooms, the minibar policy, and pool opening hours. We had previously requested a high-floor room, which she kindly arranged. Her attitude was friendly and professional. Noticing our child was in a wheelchair, she specifically assigned us a room away from the elevators, hoping it would allow for better rest. The stay started off very comfortably, and housekeeping and in-room service response times were excellent; most requests were fulfilled within minutes. All drinks in the room's mini-bar were complimentary, including Coke, sparkling water, and tea, which was very convenient for late-night thirst. There were no hidden charges, which was a nice touch. The branded toiletries were wonderful for a relaxing bath. The shower had excellent water pressure and a dry/wet separation, and the room was equipped with a Dyson hairdryer and a smart toilet. Everything was clean, tidy, and amenities were promptly replenished. The room's soundproofing was excellent; the bustling street noise below was completely imperceptible. It was great to have a quiet retreat amidst the city's hustle and bustle.

The room was spacious and airy, with an elegant and tasteful modern Chinese aesthetic. The sofa and office area were well-equipped, making it perfect for both business and leisure travel, blending comfort with practicality. The river view room offered an incredible experience. In the mornings, opening the window revealed the sunrise painting the river, while in the evenings, we waited for the lights to twinkle along both banks. The scenery was captivating throughout the day. During my stay, the rain cleared and the sun shone brightly. The room continued J Hotel's signature understated aesthetic, with luxury that felt effortless yet was evident in every detail. The extensive use of natural stone, leather, and artistic擺件 created a sophisticated and tranquil spatial atmosphere. Warm lighting, a restrained color palette, and clean lines added a sense of serenity and relaxation to the room, beyond just the high-altitude views, allowing one to experience Shanghai's unique urban aesthetic amidst the clouds. Fresh fruit was provided daily 🍉. The private butler service was consistently meticulous, natural, and perfectly attentive. I'd like to specifically commend Furong, whose English name is Eve, for her elegant and intellectual demeanor. In my opinion, the beauty of a stay lies in creating unforgettable moments, and J Hotel extended and amplified these moments, imbuing them with cloud-borne memories.

This time, I came to Shanghai for a business meeting and had pre-booked a late check-out. Upon arrival, I confirmed the details with the front desk. The staff member, Eva Shen, carefully checked my booking information and clearly explained the duration and rules for late check-out, with no extra charges. During check-in, she proactively helped me register my vehicle information, making it convenient to enter and exit the underground parking. Icy also meticulously explained the floor layout of the hotel's conference center, the location of the check-in area, and reminded me about commuting routes around the venue. Her service was professional and thoughtful, and communication was smooth throughout. This saved me a lot of hassle for my business trip, and the overall service made me feel very secure and at ease.

The hotel's location is excellent, and cleanliness wasn't an issue. However, the facilities had some significant drawbacks. The bathroom door was very problematic; the toilet and shower shared the same glass door, which was extremely difficult to slide and very inconvenient (as shown in the picture). There were too few power outlets, making charging devices a hassle. The light switches weren't clearly marked, and the night light shone directly into your eyes. Regarding service, the younger male front desk staff member was rude and unprofessional. When I checked in, I wasn't the only guest, and he was impatient and impolite with everyone, not using any basic pleasantries. He also didn't inform me about any of the hotel's facilities; I had to find the laundry room myself later. At one point, a hotel call came in to the female staff member opposite him. She wasn't sure about the situation, hung up, and then asked the male staff member, who directly mocked the guest who had called for inquiries – that was completely out of line. He also made a point of pretending to be busy with other things (even though guests could see his screen and he clearly wasn't busy) before grudgingly responding to guest requests. Although the hotel's physical amenities aren't a major issue, I will not be staying here again due to the service attitude. Being next to a university, I'm sure they won't miss one guest.

The location is unbeatable. It's super convenient – just take the escalator up to the second floor from the Purple Vine Road metro station exit towards MixC, and you'll see the hotel. It would be even better if there was a convenience store nearby. The hotel environment is also excellent, with large floor-to-ceiling windows that provide amazing natural light in the morning. The room itself is very tidy. The only downside is that the hallway decor is a bit peculiar, especially the wallpaper – it actually startled me the first time I stayed here. Overall, it's great value for money, and I'll likely stay here again next year when I come to Shanghai.

This hotel is located in Naga 2, but the gym is in Naga 1, which means you have to cross the street to get to it. The gym itself is pretty basic. The hotel's main function seems to be its location, as the facilities are quite ordinary. 🌟 I highly recommend the Jianguo Hotel Guangzhou! It's perfect whether you're here for business or leisure. The location is a huge advantage – it's very close to Guangzhou East Railway Station, within walking distance, and super convenient for getting around by subway. This saves a lot of time, whether you're running errands or catching a high-speed train, without having to rush back and forth. The room was very clean, and the bedding was comfortable, allowing for a good night's rest. The front desk staff were friendly, and check-in/check-out was efficient. The biggest surprise was the Chinese restaurant on the fourth floor; the Cantonese dim sum was delicious and authentically 'old Guangzhou' style. You don't have to specially go out and queue at other tea houses; you can enjoy high-quality Cantonese dim sum right here at the hotel. It's suitable for a solo meal or a casual gathering with friends. Having dining and accommodation in one place is very convenient, fitting for both business and leisure travelers. Next time I'm in Guangzhou, I'll definitely prioritize staying here again. I truly recommend it to anyone traveling.

We booked this hotel specifically for the 40th-floor kids' club, but it turned out to be a bit of a letdown. We came to Guangzhou with our child, and after seeing many reviews praising the Westin's indoor kids' club on the 40th floor, we decided to stay here. Unfortunately, the kids' club was quite disappointing – there was a strong, pungent smell inside. I'm not sure if it's been recently renovated, but even as an adult, I felt a bit dizzy after a few minutes, let alone letting my child play in there. On top of that, it only opens at 12 PM daily, and there wasn't a single staff member in sight, which honestly made me a bit uneasy. However, putting the kids' club aside, the rest of the hotel was excellent. Our stay on the executive floor was very satisfying, with attentive service. The breakfast selection was rich and varied, with plenty of options for both adults and children. The location is also very convenient, close to shopping and dining. While the heated pool isn't huge, the water temperature was comfortable and perfectly adequate for children to splash around in. Overall, if you're booking this hotel solely for the kids' club, like we did, you might want to reconsider. I hope the hotel addresses the indoor air quality issue, as health and safety are paramount when traveling with children. However, if you're here for a business trip or prioritize the executive benefits, this hotel is definitely worth staying at.

Decided to take a spontaneous trip during the May Day holiday and looked into nearby resorts. Mulian Zhuang came highly recommended for its overall value for money, so we decided to give it a try. We arrived on the afternoon of the 30th, which helped us avoid the peak rush. From the parking attendant to the front desk staff and the shuttle bus driver, everyone was incredibly friendly and professional. The front desk kindly upgraded our room to one by the lake, which was incredibly comfortable and offered a more peaceful environment. The first day was a bit chilly, but lying on the balcony deckchair, listening to the birds and the sound of the water, was incredibly relaxing. It really helped us achieve our vacation goals, haha! The hotel itself is designed like a garden, with rooms scattered across the hillside, connected by small paths. This layout ensures minimal disturbance between guests. Taking a leisurely stroll around is lovely, and if you don't feel like walking, you can always 'call' for the park shuttle, which is very convenient. Highly, highly, highly recommended!!! This is a Thai-style hotel. I read reviews for so many hotels before booking this one, and it certainly didn't disappoint. Even my two elderly family members raved about it! Every customer service agent, the buggy drivers, and the servers were all incredibly polite and enthusiastic! The 24-hour service was super responsive, and the service attitude was consistently excellent, day or night – it made us feel very comfortable. On the day of check-in, the hotel was fully booked, and the two room types I booked were a bit far apart. The lake view room wasn't ready until 4 PM. After discussing it with them, the hotel manager and a customer service agent worked hard to get us an upgrade to a villa, and they even added an extra bed for free, which made us so happy! The hot springs inside are very comfortable and smell wonderful, offering great privacy. Even though it was fully booked that day, there were enough pools that each family could pretty much enjoy one to themselves, which was fantastic. Many thanks to the hotel for their arrangements. My room was a luxurious suite with private bath tub (around hkd 3000 for two nights including breakfast). Hardware is definitely exceptional. However when it comes to service it is below standard: 1) front desk - service was poor without any greetings such as bell boy. Front desk officers were unhappy without any eye contact when they talk to you. No hospitality at all; 2) breakfast - the quality both food and service were not up to a 4 or 5 star service. Table was not clean, staffs were almost unfriendly, except one female manager and one staff, all staffs were rushing their task and unwelcoming. I believe the hotel management need to motivate their staff ,otherwise, people won’t come again. 3) Amnenties - room is a luxurious suite with private bath tub, massage chair, kitchen , dining table and queen bed. The tub was not very clean, with water splitting . Such a waste as their service was not meeting the standard of what it is expected to be a 5- star resort. (The environment, garden were nicely decorated indeed) The Hot Spring pool is well known but I have’s try so cannot comment. I won’t come to this resort again, if the service of the hotel haven’t improved. And I won’t recommend travelers with kids who is looking for a family friendly and good service resort. Sandy's service was truly impeccable, attentive, and incredibly warm-hearted ❤️. Next time I'm in Guangzhou, I'm definitely staying here and asking for Sandy!

The hotel is wow! They have free transportation from terminals. If you arrived at terminal 2, after passing passport control, go to the second floor to departure hall and find exit 46. The bus from the hotel will pick you up right there, outside the exit. Reception guys are very helpful, they helped with your luggage and anything you need. The room itself is very spacious. The floor in the room is so soft, like a cloud! The bed is very comfortable, pillows just amazing! The bath robe is so soft, double layered, I loved it. All you need you have in a room. Only one thing can be improved, could be nice if there would be face wash and face lotion at least. Overall, very pleasant stopover experience. Would book again for longer stopover to discover hotel’s spa and restaurant.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in the best way! They contacted me a day in advance to ask about any requests. When they found out it was my birthday, they quietly prepared a surprise. April, the front desk agent, was so sweet and spoke with such a gentle tone during check-in. She noticed I had a child with me and thoughtfully provided all the amenities kids might need. A special thanks also goes to Supervisor Super Wang! The newly renovated room had absolutely no strange odors, featured a comfortable Chinese-style design, and felt incredibly spacious, making us feel right at home. We even received a box of milk daily. We had just come from the Park Hyatt, and while I don't want to disparage it, if your budget allows, I highly recommend staying at the Four Seasons – it surpasses the Park Hyatt in terms of service, ambiance, and dining!

As someone who rarely leaves reviews, Shangri-La truly deserves a special commendation from me! It's one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. First and foremost, the service was excellent. Not only did they meet reasonable guest requests – for instance, for my birthday they provided a thoughtful and delicious cake – but I also felt genuinely respected by their service-oriented approach. Special shout-out to Lucy, Beryl, and Chloe from Guest Relations! They upgraded me to a river view room this time, and the scenery outside the window was expansive. Stepping into the room immediately felt so refreshing. One major reason I chose Shangri-La was their swimming pool. The indoor pool was clean, tidy, and quite spacious. The outdoor pool looked stunning, though unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to experience it this time. How many hotels can boast two pools? The gym was also great, and there's a tennis court that I didn't get to see. From an exercise perspective, I think Shangri-La is truly excellent!

Our originally booked room would have been on the 9th floor, right below the pool and bar. We requested a different one. It wasn't the same category, but it was okay. The bed was a bit too soft and the pillows too thick. You can't please everyone, I guess. The bathroom was very small, but the shower had good water pressure and was hot. The breakfast area/cafe was far too small for so many guests, and it was too hot to sit outside. Breakfast was mediocre but sufficient. The location was superb. Very quiet on a side street, yet right in the heart of things. However, we had the bad luck of construction happening at the temple across the street. You should avoid that side of the hotel. The rooftop pool area is nice. The view over the city and the skyline, however, is sensational. Overall, the stay was good. We would gladly come back.

I arrived at this hotel around 12 noon. The reception staff welcomed me kindly. There were a few other people waiting in the lobby at the same time. They told us that the rooms were not ready yet and that check-in time was at 2 PM. I said okay and started waiting, but since I thought it might take a while, I decided to go for a walk. I explored the nearby streets, went into a market, did some shopping, and spent some time outside. When I returned to the hotel around a little after 1 PM, I noticed that the people who had been waiting earlier were gone—so I assume their rooms had been given. The receptionist told me that my room was also ready. Then a staff member accompanied me to my room, which was on the 5th floor. The elevator in this hotel only goes up to the 4th floor, so you have to take the stairs up one more level to reach the 5th floor. The room itself was quite spacious. The Wi-Fi worked well without any issues. However, the TV did not seem to have smart features—there was no internet connection or anything like that. It was supposed to show regular channels, but due to poor antenna reception, it barely showed anything. The channels were full of static and not watchable, so the TV was essentially unusable. The air conditioner was working, but I think the gas might have been low, because the cooling was quite weak. Still, it was enough for me. There is a safe box in the room, but it seemed to have been locked previously and could only be used with a key. I couldn’t use it with a digital code. There is also a minibar with various drinks, but I didn’t use it. I only used the fridge to store items I bought myself. I think having a fridge is quite important in hot countries like this—it’s definitely useful. Hot water was available without any problems. One of the best things about this hotel is its location—it’s within walking distance to tourist areas and central entertainment spots. Other than that, I didn’t notice any particularly special features. The building itself is quite old, and I could see that it’s somewhat worn out. Still, it’s fine for a few days’ stay. But if you are expecting something luxurious, you should probably look for another hotel. For breakfast, there is a set menu. During my three-day stay, I had the same set menu every day. It was pretty standard, nothing special. There is also a restaurant at the entrance where you can order meals, but I didn’t try it—I only had breakfast there. That’s pretty much my experience. If you ask whether I would stay here again, I’d say it’s not bad, but you might be able to find a better place for the same price if you look around. The price was around the market average—not too expensive, not cheap either. Maybe you can find something better for the same price, but I’m not sure. These are my thoughts about the hotel. Have a great holiday everyone!

This is by far the best hotel I've stayed at in recent years! The entire hotel staff is highly professional, and their excellent service is evident at every step of your stay. While waiting for a ride-hailing car in the lobby, staff members would proactively approach me to ask about my destination and offer guidance for travel if I had questions. When I was taking photos in the lobby, staff members would also come over to help me find good angles and assist with the pictures. Whether it was checking in, having breakfast, or being at the hotel's pool or bar... in every scenario during my stay, I felt meticulous and thoughtful service, with many proactive and attentive touches that made for a very comfortable experience. I especially want to thank Flora Qiu Jianyue from the concierge team. We had three suitcases with us, and the booked car couldn't fit all of them, so we needed to move luggage back and forth. It was the scorching midday sun in Xi'an, and I was waiting in the shade with my three children. I called her over to avoid the sun, but she insisted on staying in the scorching sun to look after our luggage, helped us move it back and forth, and arranged for a different car. This small detail was truly heartwarming. The hotel's predecessor was the historic People's Grand Hotel, now part of the Sofitel Legend brand. It felt like genuinely heartfelt care stemming from a strong training system and excellent management, not just a perfunctory show. A particularly memorable moment was when my child accidentally broke a candy jar lid; instead of immediately asking for compensation, the staff's first concern was whether my child was hurt or if it disturbed other guests. Breakfast was also fantastic 👍, with a rich selection, including high-quality options like smoked salmon and tropical fruits. Overall, I was extremely satisfied 👍!

To be fair, since the hotel opened quite a while ago, the room's hardware facilities aren't its strongest suit. The curtain switch was a bit faulty, but it didn't really affect its use. However, the cleanliness was very well maintained. The front desk and staff were all very enthusiastic, proactively offering help and resolving any issues, so the service was absolutely top-notch. The hotel's location is excellent, right near the Bell Tower, with great transport links, making it easy to get around. However, because it's located within a courtyard, if you're on a lower floor, you can only see the old courtyard walls outside your window. But this seems to be a common issue with hotels in this area; I've encountered it at other hotels in Xi'an before.

South Area Xi'an|3.97km from downtown
I had a particularly satisfying stay this time! The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient for dining out and getting around. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient with the check-in process. The room was spotless, the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation with no odors, and the bedding was soft and clean. The soundproofing was fantastic; I couldn't hear any hallway noise at all at night. All the facilities were complete and working well, the air conditioning was quiet, and toiletries were fully stocked. The cleaning staff were thorough, and any requests were promptly handled. It's really great value for money, my top choice for business trips or vacations, and I've already recommended it to friends!

Right across from the Drum Tower, the location is excellent. The room was clean, tidy, spacious, and bright, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. The staff cleaned punctually every day. When checking out, the front desk lady even asked if I needed two bottles of warm mineral water, which was very thoughtful. The only minor drawback is that the room isn't soundproof. However, I still love staying at Ji Hotel; I like its layout, the small tea table, and the black tea is good too.

I did a lot of research for my trip to Xi'an and finally settled on this hotel. The location is absolutely unbeatable. Xiangzimiao Street is right downstairs, full of unique shops. It was so convenient to explore late into the evening and just walk a few steps back to the hotel. The biggest surprise was the fourth-floor terrace. Having breakfast there in the morning was a real 'wow' moment! It faces directly onto the Yongning Gate city wall, and the view is just incredible. Every photo I took looked great, and so many people asked me which hotel it was when I posted them. The breakfast tasted delicious, and I recommend the beef noodles. Honestly, just sitting there and eating felt so atmospheric. The room itself was very clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom's wet/dry separation was well-done. My only minor regret is that the bar street downstairs can be a bit noisy at night, but the hotel provides earplugs, so I was still able to sleep. Overall, it's excellent value for money, and I'd definitely stay here again when I bring my parents next time.

Datang West Market/West Xi'an Xi'an|3.84km from downtown
This hotel was a convenient stopover on my trip. It's right next to the subway station and has a small courtyard for parking. The room decor is in the style of an older, established star-rated hotel, and it was spotlessly clean. The service was warm and welcoming, and it offers great value for money. Overall, it was a very good experience.
