The hotel lobby boasts an elegant and grand design, and the rooms are clean, tidy, and comfortable. It's a convenient 10-minute walk to Jianguomen subway station, making it easy to get to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Plus, the minibar drinks are complimentary! After checking out, I realized I'd left my watch and data cable behind, and the hotel even called to arrange shipping them to me. There are also McDonald's, hot pot restaurants, and Zigongyuan nearby, and the whole street is home to the Scitech Shopping Center.

The lady at the front desk provided excellent service; she had a beautiful smile. The room was also very spacious, nothing to complain about there. The transportation is incredibly convenient, only a ten-minute walk from Tiananmen, which is fantastic! The only drawback was the pool. It's very small, and apparently, they rent it out? When we went, my child saw several swimming floats lying idle and picked one up. Immediately, a fierce-looking middle-aged woman in a yellow life vest came out and took it away. My child politely asked the 'auntie' if he could play with one of the idle ones, and the 'fierce woman' flat-out refused. I was speechless! For a hotel that costs over a thousand a night, can't they even provide a couple of swimming aids?

The most beautiful European-style hotel in Beijing! The lobby, restaurant, and rooms are all very spacious. The service is exceptional; all staff members are respectful, friendly, and attentive to guests. The breakfast is abundant with main courses rotating daily. Although it's an 18-year-old building, it's very well-maintained, and the facilities are comprehensive with a strong vintage feel. I stayed in room 507, which was very quiet. The housekeeping staff are well-presented, professional, and do an excellent job cleaning! Highly commendable.

Five-star review! I stayed at the Sofitel Beijing Central for four consecutive days, and my overall experience was extremely satisfying. The location is excellent, close to Jianguomen subway station, making it very convenient to get to Wangfujing, Tiananmen Square, and the National Museum. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, so I rested very well. The front desk staff were warm and polite, and their service was prompt and responsive; communication was smooth whenever I had a request. The hotel environment is quiet and elegant, and the facilities are well-maintained. Traveling with children, staying here made getting around and sightseeing worry-free and convenient. It's a great choice for exploring urban Beijing, especially since the young lady at the Chance hotel front desk upgraded our room for free and gave us a breakfast voucher for one adult and two children for one day, considering our late arrival. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Beijing – it truly exceeded my expectations!

I had an exceptional stay at this hotel in Beijing. From the moment I arrived, the staff provided warm, professional, and attentive service that made me feel truly welcome. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, with comfortable bedding and stunning views of the city. The hotel’s facilities were outstanding, especially the breakfast selection, which offered a wide variety of delicious local and international dishes. The location was also perfect, making it easy to explore Beijing’s major attractions while still enjoying a peaceful and luxurious environment. What impressed me the most was the attention to detail and the genuine hospitality shown by every member of the team. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beijing for business or leisure. It truly delivers a five-star experience in every aspect, and I look forward to staying here again in the future.

The biggest highlight of the Xinqiao Hotel is its extremely convenient location – directly opposite Chongwenmen Subway Station (where Lines 2 and 5 intersect). It's incredibly easy to get to Wangfujing, Tiananmen Square, and Beijing Railway Station by subway or bus. Plus, there are malls like New World nearby. However, the facilities are indeed quite dated. After all, it's an old hotel that opened in 1954, and some rooms have dim lighting. Some room types are windowless, which can feel a bit stuffy if you haven't confirmed beforehand. I personally recommend getting a room with a window. In summary, if location and transportation convenience are your top priorities and you're fine with the older style of an established hotel, this is a hassle-free choice!

The location is very convenient, just a few minutes' walk from Wangfujing. There are many snack shops, restaurants and a few hair salons next to and in front of the hotel. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, assisting us with hailing a taxi and showing us how to get to the various attractions. The hotel even provided a small map to guide us on foot to and from the Palace Museum. Very special is this hotel very family friendly, the have connecting room for the family to stay in, for us, we can take care of our girls without open the door and go to another room. The daily housekeeping was very thorough. The female housekeeper responsible for our rooms 715 and 716 was particularly friendly, attentive, and responsible. My daughter accidentally spilled soy milk on the carpet and bed; I informed her, and she promised to handle it. When we returned to the room that evening, the carpet and bed were spotless, without any smell or stains. We were very satisfied with the hotel's service. We will stay in this hotel again when we go to Beijing again.

Staying at the Orange Crystal Hotel in Wangfujing for my Beijing Forbidden City photoshoot was the perfect choice! The location is unbeatable, right on Wangfujing Street, with direct walking access to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. It's also super close to the Wangfu Century Ancient Style Makeup Studio, so after getting my Qing or Ming dynasty look done, I could head straight into the park for photos – everything flowed incredibly smoothly. The hotel was exceptionally generous with complimentary bottled water; I've stayed in countless hotels and never seen so much provided, so I didn't need to bring any of my own. The lobby amenities were thoughtful and complete, with a 24-hour self-service coffee machine and even building blocks for kids. It really maximized comfort for traveling with elderly family members and children. This is definitely my top choice for travel and photography trips!

The hotel's location is fantastic, right in the New World Department Store building, with Chongmun Station on Subway Line 5 just downstairs. There are numerous large shopping malls nearby, lots of great restaurants, and it's convenient to get anywhere. The room's cleanliness was also very good. I particularly liked their hairdryer; it's very powerful, which is great for people with long hair. The only thing I was unhappy with was their internet 🛜 – it's really bad and often disconnects, especially in the bathroom. As soon as you enter, the Wi-Fi drops. I hope they can switch to a better network provider. Everything else deserves five stars!

The staff had excellent professionalism, being friendly without being overly intrusive. The check-out process was simple and efficient. When I accidentally left a small item behind, they called me immediately and even helped mail it to me. Their handling of the situation was thorough and thoughtful, showing great care in the details. My entire stay was particularly comfortable. They could even help receive express deliveries for luggage and deliver them to the room, which saved a lot of hassle and time and effort. This was my first time staying here, and the front desk staff, both the men and women, were exceptionally friendly and professional. They were very responsive, answered all our questions, and resolved issues quickly. 👍 This was a great comfort for us as visitors from out of town. The internal environment is also very comfortable, with many seating areas to choose from; you could easily spend a long time in the lobby. On the first floor, there's a Cantonese restaurant and a larger Wild Restaurant. Downstairs, there are countless snack stalls and restaurants, catering to different tastes and regions. The room itself was very quiet, and the humidity and temperature were just right. The quietness was the most important thing. There were many foreigners staying here – you could hear all sorts of languages in the elevator! 😀 Overall, a great experience. Thank you! 🙏 Oh, and there's a swimming pool upstairs too!

The hotel environment is decent, clean enough, but nothing to write home about. Its biggest advantage is the excellent location; it's just a few minutes' walk to the subway station, making it super convenient for commuting and sightseeing. However, the breakfast experience was really poor – limited variety, mediocre taste, and definitely not worth the price. I wouldn't recommend booking this hotel for the breakfast.

The bathroom in my room had a strong, utterly disgusting sewer smell. I reported it to the front desk and they moved me, but the new room still had an odor. I ended up switching rooms multiple times until 2 AM, finally landing in a twin room when I had booked a king. Honestly, each room change felt like a downgrade. We had booked two family rooms at the hotel next door, but fewer people came than expected, and they wouldn't let us change to just one room, which is understandable. So we canceled that booking and quickly reserved a family room with bunk beds at this hotel while it was still available. It was a pleasant surprise! There were two bathrooms, one large and one small, which was great for the kids. The bunk beds were also very wide. Everything was excellent, except for the lack of a window. The air conditioning worked great, and the room service was good, especially the front desk service. The blonde-haired lady who checked us in was incredibly dedicated and helpful, assisting us a great deal. Yanqing Resort Area Beijing|56.95km from downtown
Finally checked into the Commune by the Great Wall, a Hyatt Centric property – specifically, the Bamboo House. This stay completely exceeded my expectations, so I'm sharing an honest review for anyone considering a visit. The exterior features tightly packed natural bamboo poles, complemented by a black sloping roof. Walking along the forest path, you can see the building softly blending into the mountains and woods from a distance, without appearing out of place at all. The most stunning feature is the independent outdoor bamboo tea room. Bamboo columns enclose a semi-transparent space with white sand covering the ground. Through the bamboo gaps, you can gaze at the mountains and forest. Sitting quietly and enjoying tea here creates an incredibly atmospheric experience, perfect for photos. The public areas boast large floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the green trees outside like natural landscape paintings. During the day, light and shadows filter into the rooms through the bamboo poles, creating ever-changing scenery. Practical Tips for Your Stay: 1. The room offers excellent privacy. It's a standalone building surrounded by dense trees, away from the hustle and bustle of public areas. It's ideal for those seeking quiet relaxation, couples on a getaway, or small gatherings of friends. 2. The building materials are natural bamboo, so there's a natural bamboo and wood scent. If you're sensitive to slight color variations or textures in natural materials, please be aware of this beforehand. The gaps in the bamboo create a soft, translucent feel; if you require ultimate privacy, simply pull down the indoor blackout blinds. 3. The hotel is located in a valley, so the temperature difference between morning/evening and daytime is greater than in the city. Remember to bring a light jacket if you plan to sit in the outdoor tea room in the evening. 4. The resort grounds are very large. I recommend driving in, as walking to and from the restaurant can be quite far. For dining, you can choose the hotel's restaurant or bring your own snacks and enjoy them in the outdoor tea room. Areas for Improvement: When I checked in, the room had just been cleaned, and there was still water on the floor, suggesting a rushed and less-than-thorough cleaning. The 'Old Beijing style' afternoon tea, which looked great for photos in the lobby, consisted of pre-bought items of generally mediocre quality.

We had such a fantastic time bringing our child to the Le Du Port Marriott this trip! My child was participating in a robotics competition, and after adding the hotel's butler, Skyller, on WeChat, they pre-checked us in so my child could rest during lunchtime. We learned it was also my child's birthday that day, and they even prepared balloons and a small cake, which made my child incredibly happy. Any requests were promptly addressed. A huge thumbs up to Skyller! 👍 The room was spacious and clean, and the children's amenities were thoughtfully prepared; the small slippers and toothbrush made my child feel really involved. Breakfast offered a wide variety, and there was even a dedicated children's serving area, making mealtime enjoyable for my little one and stress-free for us. The pool temperature was just right for splashing around and enjoying the hot springs with the kids, plus there's a children's play area. It was a truly special birthday, and the attention to detail in the service was impeccable. I highly recommend this to families looking for a 'one-stop' destination for kids around Beijing.

This hotel, part of the Gulf Hotel Group, stands out as a high-end property, primarily known for its hot springs. Beyond that, it boasts an impressive array of amenities including a family-friendly kids' paradise, hiking trails, a space-themed sports complex, and a wellness center offering treatments like sound bowl therapy, head meditation, and full-body essential oil massages. Our butler, Luna Zhang, provided exceptionally warm and thoughtful service. She helped us set up the family beds and surprised us with fruit and ice cream, which delighted the children. For those interested in hiking, the room key cards conveniently include a hiking map. It was freezing outside in winter, but super warm inside – I felt like I could wear a T-shirt, the air conditioning was excellent. The service was generally great. My child threw a beanbag up onto the ceiling, which was about three or four meters high, and the hotel staff even managed to get it down for us. I'm very grateful for that. I deducted 0.5 points for service because the front desk staff seemed clueless; when I asked where to feed the alpacas, they said they didn't know and that it was handled by the hot springs area, implying it wasn't under their management. They mentioned the hot springs and entertainment were outsourced. However, we found the alpacas just a short distance outside the hotel lobby entrance, along with geese, ducks, and chickens. There were three large and two small alpacas, and they were adorable. Do bring them some carrots and greens; they looked quite hungry. For breakfast, go early, before 8 AM, as it's very abundant. If you go later, you'll miss out on the delicious cream cakes. Dinner was a buffet due to New Year's, and the seafood was quite fresh for the hotpot. The hot springs were a bit crowded, but the kids had a good time, mostly hitting each other with ocean balls. There weren't many indoor hot spring pools, making it a bit cramped. The temperatures were all high, but it was very clean. They said there were outdoor pools too, but we didn't go as it was too cold.

Beyond its excellent location, the guest rooms are well-maintained, cozy, and comfortable, with soft, warm lighting. The amenities are complete, and the views are fantastic. The staff are enthusiastic, genuine, and hospitable. During this stay, I was fortunate to experience the WoW privileges recently launched by Trip.com for Black Diamond members. It's worth noting that the gym offers a wide selection of beverages, perfect for rehydrating after a workout – a very thoughtful detail. I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

This hotel is my first choice for business trips. The location is incredibly convenient, being very close to both the conference room and my client's company, which saves a lot of travel time. Amy at the front desk was professional and enthusiastic; she handled everything efficiently and quickly. For check-out, I used the express check-out, just handing in the room card, which was a huge time-saver. Since I still needed to organize some documents in the afternoon, I requested a late check-out, and the front desk very thoughtfully accommodated me, allowing me to comfortably finish my work before leaving. The hotel's service is thoughtful and warm, with attention to detail evident everywhere. Both the facilities and the service are satisfying. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next business trip. Five-star rating!

Five-star review! I've stayed here over ten times, and the service is much better than Rosewood. I received a Black Diamond upgrade to a fantastic room type. The room was very comfortable to sleep in, with excellent soundproofing making it very quiet. Breakfast was also delicious, and the private butler service was great, always responsive to any needs. The room arrangements were perfect. However, the two ladies making noodles at breakfast were chatting while working, even though the beef noodles were genuinely good. It was my first time seeing Waldorf Astoria staff chatting while on duty, and this is something that needs improvement.

I chose Nuo Hotel for my birthday this year, and I was pleasantly surprised when the front desk wished me a happy birthday during check-in. They upgraded me to an executive floor, which was beautifully decorated with a great ambiance, and the view from the window was also lovely. I drove here this time, and at checkout, I wasn't proactively informed about parking fee waivers or anything similar. So, I had to go down to the garage and then come back to the front desk to inquire.

That feeling of being quietly looked after was simply wonderful. 2. **Personal Touch**: The room was decorated for my birthday, and the handwritten card really stood out. The handwriting was neat and sincere, completely unlike a generic printed template. It instantly made me feel a sense of belonging. 3. **Flawless Service**: From check-in at the front desk to the concierge's guidance, every single staff member was incredibly friendly and professional. Their warmth and expertise made me feel so welcome. Not only are the facilities excellent, but the soft skills in their service are also impeccable. Thank you for giving me such a memorable birthday. Located in a prime downtown spot, it's convenient for getting anywhere. Downstairs is very lively with restaurants, a food street, and a shopping complex all in one. During weekdays in summer, there were many foreign guests... and quite a few elderly Chinese too. The front desk often had queues for check-in, and there were always people waiting for taxis outside. Business was really good, yet the room offered excellent value for money! Thanks for the free upgrade to a deluxe suite~ It was newly renovated. I was on a business trip and decided to bring my mom along so she could relax and enjoy herself. **Facilities** They offer a table tennis room, a swimming pool, and a gym. No robots for food delivery pick-up though. **Hygiene** Clean. **Environment** The overall environment is good. The old five-star hotel is very well maintained; it doesn't feel old or dated. The room was newly renovated, but the sense of space wasn't huge, and the bathroom was a bit small. **Service** The service attitude was excellent and professional.

This is a serviced apartment with a fantastic location. It's right across the street from Xintiandi and the subway station, making transportation incredibly convenient. There are tons of shopping malls and restaurants nearby, perfect for those who love to shop. The hotel staff were warm and friendly, always ready to help. Upon check-in, I received a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which was very spacious and included a kitchen and living room. It was fully equipped with an oven, microwave, induction hob, sterilizer, and washing machine (though I didn't get to use them all). The 2-meter king-size bed had a mattress that was just right – not too soft, not too firm – and the high-floor street view was also excellent. On the downside, the bathroom facilities were a bit dated, with a non-smart toilet and a seat without soft-close hinges. The sink also drained slowly. Plus, there were some oversights in the cleaning; I actually found a T-shirt left by a previous guest on the back of a chair! I only stayed for one day, so I didn't get to experience the other hotel amenities. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel!

Traveling with my child for the weekend, I booked the Marriott Hotel in advance through Ctrip. The hotel's location is superb, just a few minutes' walk from Nanjing Road. The facilities are complete, and the room was clean and comfortable. Even though we had an unexpected encounter with a 'white dolphin' (a metaphor for a minor inconvenience or surprise), it didn't affect our mood at all. Gazing at the Oriental Pearl Tower through the rain-streaked window from our room was also a unique experience. The hotel even provided complimentary welcome fruits, small gifts, and other extra surprises, which was incredibly thoughtful. Honestly, most hotel hardware is pretty much on par these days; it's the little details in service that truly leave a lasting impression. All in all, it was a very satisfying stay.

Service: Before checking in, I read many reviews complaining about the check-in staff. I definitely experienced it myself. All the staff avoided eye contact; it was hard to find someone to help with check-in, and everyone seemed busy. There was a young man near the elevator entrance who suggested not standing there. He would just lower his head and walk away when he saw guests; I don't know what purpose it served to have someone standing there. The bellhop at the luggage storage was enthusiastic, but I suggest increasing the refrigerated storage space and training staff. They shouldn't advise guests to carry their refrigerated items with them when checking out, especially on such hot days; it's better to leave them in the air-conditioned hotel. The staff at the entrance who helped with luggage and opened car doors were polite, and their service was appreciated. Some of the hosts at the breakfast restaurant were very warm and friendly. Others were not, and some were only friendly towards Japanese guests. The chefs at the cooking stations were all excellent, and the food was delicious. Facilities: Older hotels always have shortcomings in their hardware. As soon as I exited the elevator on the guest floor, I smelled dust, and there was a musty smell in the room. The shower equipment was old and difficult to use, the washbasin was quite low, and the small magnifying mirror for makeup/removing makeup was broken; either you had to hold it up very high to see your face, or it would fall down and still not work. This can't be changed in the short term, so it needs renovation. During renovations, I suggest not installing mirrors facing the bed again. I slept very poorly at night. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was much better than I expected. There was no dust in the nooks and crannies, which was a pleasant surprise. Noise: The room was very close to the elevator, but surprisingly, there was not much noise, which was acceptable. However, there was a regular rumbling sound, which I suspect was the subway passing by; it was very noticeable. The sound disappeared after the subway stopped at night and reappeared in the morning. Overall, it was not a very pleasant experience, but I've tried it. I won't choose this hotel again.

Facilities: The hotel's overall facilities are well-maintained. The lobby is elegant, clean, and impressive. The rooms are well-designed, featuring a smart voice control system for curtains, lights, and air conditioning – a true blessing for the lazy! There are two types of elevators. From the main entrance, you can take an elevator to the 11th floor where the front desk and the breakfast restaurant (right opposite the elevator) are located. After checking in, you'll need to use a different set of elevators, which are floor-specific, to get to your room. Cleanliness: The hotel rooms are clean and tidy. The breakfast was very rich, and I even saw many beautiful foreign guests. The executive lounge on the 44th floor offered a wide variety of delicious cakes. Definitely lives up to five-star hotel standards. Environment: The hotel is very close to People's Square subway station, making it incredibly convenient to get to Joy City Jing'an, Jing'an Temple, Jinqiao International Commercial Plaza, and the airport. From the hotel room, you can enjoy the stunning views of the Bund both morning and evening. After dinner, you can take a stroll along the pedestrian street to the Bund. There are many famous snack shops nearby, like Lailai Xiaolong, and restaurants such as Longyu and Warehouse No. 3, which are a must-try. Service: The staff are well-trained and very enthusiastic. Here's a review for one of the top hotels on my Shanghai staycation favorites list! I've been to Aranya many times, and this time I came to escape a typhoon 🌀 so I didn't take many new photos. I'll use my previous comments instead. 📍 I was upgraded to an Executive room. The front desk arranged for check-in on the 10th floor. The entire hotel has a subtle, calming fragrance. Coupled with the crystal-shaped lights everywhere, a sense of healing naturally arises. The check-in process was very smooth; typically, it includes a hand-wiping tea ceremony, a mood/constitution assessment, and a sound bath, emphasizing a sense of ritual and healing right from arrival. 🛌 The room facilities are complete. If there's a bathtub, you can try a herbal bath sachet. Some rooms offer views of Suzhou Creek. 🌟 Both in the morning and at night, small snacks (the truffle chocolates and nuts are especially good!) are delivered to your door, along with refillable beverages tailored to your constitution. The breakfast in the morning is very good, it is self-service, and there are freshly made noodles to eat. If you are thirsty, you can go downstairs at any time to have some drinks and fruits, which are all included in the hotel package. Why the deduction? Like many reviews wrote, the water in the pool here is really too hot. It is the hottest of all the hot springs in Shanghai that I have been to. It feels too hot. I saw that several children could hardly soak in the water for a while. I don’t know why so many people complained. I saw that the management was still saying in the comments that it met the hot spring temperature requirements. What they said is that your water is too hot, and they are giving you suggestions. Everyone in the hot spring said that the water was hot, not that you violated any regulations... It takes talent to reply like this

Finally got to experience the Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund, and it was fantastic: 1. **Prime Location:** Absolutely the best spot on the Bund. You can step right out to the Bund morning or night. 2. **Top-notch Service:** The lobby was full of very courteous staff who were always ready to help. If they caught your eye, they'd offer a friendly smile. The doormen outside, as soon as they saw your room card, would warmly say, 'Welcome back!' They'd also help with luggage, both getting in and out of the car, making you feel truly at home. The air conditioning and the thick duvet made the room temperature uncomfortable. I called the front desk at 2 AM, and someone quickly came with an engineer to check the AC. Although the problem wasn't solved, their prompt response was commendable. While I was on my phone at breakfast, a waiter proactively and thoughtfully brought me a phone stand. During checkout, they even asked about my stay experience. Overall, this level of service is rare; it made me feel like a valued guest and truly enhanced my Shanghai trip. I will definitely choose the Waldorf Astoria again.

I’ve been a loyal guest at Andaz Xintiandi Shanghai for quite some time, drawn back again and again by the genuinely warm service, attention to detail, and the way the team always makes me feel recognised and valued. Unfortunately, this stay was a sharp departure from everything I’ve come to love about the hotel, solely because of one check-in experience that left a very bitter taste. I had noted in advance during booking that I would prefer a high-floor corner room – not a demand, simply a preference that in the past has often been thoughtfully accommodated when availability allows. Upon arrival, I approached the reception and was assisted by Iris. I handed over my passport, and she confirmed the length of my stay. When I politely asked if a corner room might be possible, her response was cold and curt: she told me I had booked a regular king room, that she would not upgrade me, and that if I wanted such a room I should pay more. No smile, no warmth, no attempt to soften the refusal. It was less what she said and more how she said it – she made me feel embarrassed, almost as if I were being put in my place for even asking, as though booking a standard room somehow meant I couldn’t afford better. At a hotel of this calibre, I don’t think any guest should be made to feel that way. Still taken aback, I was then asked whether I wanted a room near the elevator or not. Already unhappy with the interaction, I said it didn’t matter. She then assigned me what can only be described as the worst possible room – directly next to the elevator on the 16th floor. When I saw the location, I was genuinely shocked. I went straight back down and told her I didn’t want to sleep next to the elevator, and she eventually moved me to a higher floor. Throughout the entire process, there was not a single smile, no “enjoy your stay” – nothing that even remotely resembled hospitality. I left the desk feeling like an inconvenience. It’s worth mentioning that based on the room rates and availability that day, the hotel was absolutely not fully booked, so this wasn’t a case of simply having no better rooms to offer. It felt like a deliberate lack of care, and it stung particularly because it came from a hotel where I’m used to staff remembering my preferences and quietly making each long stay a little more comfortable – not because I expect a free upgrade, but because that thoughtfulness is what makes a regular guest feel truly welcome. A standard room has always been perfectly fine; it’s the attitude and the willingness to accommodate small preferences that made me appreciate this place so much. This time, that spirit was completely absent at check-in. What makes this all the more frustrating is that every single other staff member I encountered – and there were many, too many to name – was excellent, friendly, and professional, just as I’ve always known them to be. One day during my stay, I had lunch at the lobby bar, and both the food and service were wonderful. On my departure day, I didn’t even bother with a formal checkout; I simply handed my key to the lady at the reception desk and left. The doorman was, as ever, kind and exceptionally helpful with my luggage. These are the people who reminded me why I keep coming back. I really do hope the hotel takes this feedback to heart. One person’s attitude at the front desk can undo months of goodwill built by an otherwise outstanding team. I’ll return, because I know what this hotel is truly capable of, but I sincerely hope my next welcome feels like a welcome again.

J Hotel Shanghai Tower, one of the tallest hotels in the world, truly lives up to its reputation. From the moment you step into the lobby on the 101st floor of Shanghai Tower, you're captivated by its unique design and breathtaking views. The hotel seamlessly blends modern technology with Eastern aesthetics, and the ubiquitous artworks make you feel as if you're in a private art residence in the clouds. Regarding the service, Eve Xiang deserves special commendation! Her service was thoughtful and attentive, truly embodying the spirit of 'treating guests like family.' Whether it was communicating needs in advance or responding during our stay, everything was incredibly prompt, making us feel right at home.

The hotel's location is excellent, and cleanliness wasn't an issue. However, the facilities had some significant drawbacks. The bathroom door was very problematic; the toilet and shower shared the same glass door, which was extremely difficult to slide and very inconvenient (as shown in the picture). There were too few power outlets, making charging devices a hassle. The light switches weren't clearly marked, and the night light shone directly into your eyes. Regarding service, the younger male front desk staff member was rude and unprofessional. When I checked in, I wasn't the only guest, and he was impatient and impolite with everyone, not using any basic pleasantries. He also didn't inform me about any of the hotel's facilities; I had to find the laundry room myself later. At one point, a hotel call came in to the female staff member opposite him. She wasn't sure about the situation, hung up, and then asked the male staff member, who directly mocked the guest who had called for inquiries – that was completely out of line. He also made a point of pretending to be busy with other things (even though guests could see his screen and he clearly wasn't busy) before grudgingly responding to guest requests. Although the hotel's physical amenities aren't a major issue, I will not be staying here again due to the service attitude. Being next to a university, I'm sure they won't miss one guest.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) I stayed at Moyu Movie Hotel Shanghai for 7 nights, and I had an excellent experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. They even accepted my Taobao packages, which made my stay much more convenient. The housekeeping service was outstanding. My room was cleaned every day without me having to request it. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. I especially loved the modern automatic toilet, and the shampoo and body wash smelled wonderful. Another great feature was the free self-service laundry, and they even provided free laundry detergent, which was a huge bonus for a longer stay. The location is also very convenient. The hotel is close to the MRT station, making it easy to get around Shanghai. It is also only about a 15-minute walk to the LV The Place (LV Ship), which is a great spot to visit. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely choose Moyu Movie Hotel Shanghai again when I visit Shanghai. As a frequent business traveler to Guangzhou, the Jianguo Hotel is always my go-to. I genuinely recommend it to all business travelers – it's my absolute must-stay whenever I'm in Guangzhou! The location is unbeatable, right next to Guangzhou East Railway Station and a subway entrance, making commutes to Shenzhen and Hong Kong, or getting around the city's various business districts, incredibly convenient. There are plenty of malls and restaurants nearby, so all your dining and shopping needs are easily met. The hotel's service is meticulous and thoughtful; the front desk and dining staff are always responsive. The rooms are quiet and tidy, perfect for both working and resting, making for an excellent business trip experience. The biggest surprise, though, was the hotel breakfast. It used to be over a hundred RMB per person, but now it's only 58 RMB – incredible value for money! The variety of food is extensive, with a dedicated whole-grain section featuring corn, sweet potatoes, and various whole-grain pastries. They also offer a wide selection of freshly baked bread, Cantonese dim sum, made-to-order noodles, fresh fruits, and a range of teas and coffees. Whether you're looking for something light and healthy or a hearty meal, they've got you covered. A good breakfast before meeting clients really energizes you for the whole day. Considering the location, service, and dining, this hotel is my top choice for business trips. I'll definitely be staying at Jianguo Hotel on all my future visits to Guangzhou!

We booked this hotel specifically for the 40th-floor kids' club, but it turned out to be a bit of a letdown. We came to Guangzhou with our child, and after seeing many reviews praising the Westin's indoor kids' club on the 40th floor, we decided to stay here. Unfortunately, the kids' club was quite disappointing – there was a strong, pungent smell inside. I'm not sure if it's been recently renovated, but even as an adult, I felt a bit dizzy after a few minutes, let alone letting my child play in there. On top of that, it only opens at 12 PM daily, and there wasn't a single staff member in sight, which honestly made me a bit uneasy. However, putting the kids' club aside, the rest of the hotel was excellent. Our stay on the executive floor was very satisfying, with attentive service. The breakfast selection was rich and varied, with plenty of options for both adults and children. The location is also very convenient, close to shopping and dining. While the heated pool isn't huge, the water temperature was comfortable and perfectly adequate for children to splash around in. Overall, if you're booking this hotel solely for the kids' club, like we did, you might want to reconsider. I hope the hotel addresses the indoor air quality issue, as health and safety are paramount when traveling with children. However, if you're here for a business trip or prioritize the executive benefits, this hotel is definitely worth staying at.

Oakwood Premier is extremely convenient - just one metro station ride on Line 1 from Guangzhou East rail station, and <10 mins walk from Exit A. The check in, restaurant and housekeeping staff members are courteous and responsive to our needs - extra towels, restaurant bookings etc. It is a welcoming change from other hotel chains in other countries which we experienced lately. The room is clean and spacious. There is however too many furniture (probably due to accommodating long term guests who need plenty of storage). Less furniture would be ideal with more walking space and effective opening of doors, eg bedroom door, if open, will block access to the wardrobe door. The breakfast buffet spread is sufficient - Chinese and western dishes. The dining room is huge, bright and spacious with large windows. The F&B knowledge could be improved though eg having available the appropriate condiments with the buffet items (calamari rings, delicious but no dips to go with), fresh waffle with no maple syrup (just 4 different fruit jams and 1 peanut butter options), crispy bacon (but not cripsy in reality), Chinese dim sum (with no chili oil/sauce, vinegar etc) at lukewarm temperature (the steaming switch was deliberately kept at OFF though I switched it to ON several times.) We will be back though. The value is in the location, clean and spacious room. Not the food.

The room layout was well-designed, the light switches and outlets were conveniently placed, and the bathroom towels were thick and absorbent – getting these details right really makes a difference to the experience. For service, Dion and Mia💖🍥 truly stood out. When I checked in, I mentioned that I'm a light sleeper and sensitive to noise. They immediately checked room availability and switched me to an inner-facing room. As expected, I slept wonderfully those two nights, with absolutely no noise. I will put it in my CTrip favourites.

Great, clean hotel that is not too far from Pazhou subway station. There is a large buffet in the morning, as well as many restaurants inside the hotel to choose from for lunch and dinner. The room service menu also has a lot of great choices. The rooms are quiet and comfortable, and the service is outstanding. There is a great view of the Pearl River, and the pool is nice as well. The hotel staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful, and they even upgraded my room. The room itself was fantastic with a great view, and the bathrobe was quite comfortable. There were a couple of minor issues I brought to the attention of the front desk that could be improved. Also, the room's buttons and lighting might need a bit more maintenance; it could get a bit dim at night, which might not be ideal for some business travelers. On a positive note, the breakfast was very generous.

No frills, just beautiful scenery at every turn, adorned with pink or purple flowers. There's no revolving door, but someone always opens the door for you when you come and go. There are always staff guiding you to the elevator, and someone to help with your luggage, open car doors, and handle bags. The pool has three lifeguards, and drinks and water are complimentary. Towels are UV-sterilized and handed directly to you. In the evenings, turndown service is completed, and breakfast tags are neatly placed. You'll never see anyone walking around in slippers because the guest room notice prohibits it in public areas. Everything is service-oriented. Next time, I'll still choose The Ritz-Carlton. It's well worth the money. A good brand hotel should absolutely avoid becoming a family resort; it ruins everything! However, the soundproofing of the room door is lacking, and the noise from guests entering and exiting the adjacent room in the morning can be quite loud.

It's true what they say: no comparison, no harm. My family always used to book Hilton for me, but this time they told me to try something new, so I only booked one core hotel, and it turned out to be a Wyndham. Hilton's quality is consistently good; the Hilton in this area even has more spacious rooms than others, and the service is quite good. However, Wyndham's quality really varies. The Wyndham I stayed at in Qingyuan, Lianzhu, was excellent, but the one in Panyu felt pretty average. Next time, I'll stick with Hilton. It offers great value for money, and while it might not be a high-star hotel, the quality is definitely up to a certain standard, and the breakfast is also quite standard.

The hotel's location is very central and convenient, just a 3-5 minute walk directly to Futian High-Speed Rail Station, Coco Park shopping mall, and the 116F observation deck of Ping An Financial Center. This time, I took the high-speed train from Futian Station to Hong Kong West Kowloon Station, which only took 14 minutes, making it incredibly quick and easy to get to Harbour City. The hotel environment is comfortable; the lobby and public areas are beautiful, and the room was clean and tidy, making for a very relaxing stay. I especially loved the fitness center and pool; the facilities are comprehensive and excellent. The front desk service was very warm and welcoming. They enthusiastically introduced the hotel and the surrounding area during check-in. The breakfast selection was also rich, with both Chinese and Western options, and the taste was great. I chose this hotel because I was going to Hong Kong 🇭🇰, and it was so convenient! It's just a 100-meter walk to Futian Railway Station, and the subway is also easily accessible. My child really wanted to take the subway, so we went to Hong Kong. The two round trips were really unpleasant. This place is part of China, yet you have to put up with the attitudes of the people there; they look so impatient, as if we mainlanders owe them something. Without our mainland fish, how would your economy grow? I'll never go there again. Shenzhen is much better, with great food and a relaxed atmosphere. The hotel was good too 👍. Seeing Hong Kong people coming to Shenzhen to spend money, it makes you realize how much more affordable the mainland is. A bowl of noodles in Hong Kong costs over a hundred, and everything is expensive. I'll definitely come back to Shenzhen for food, drinks, and fun. Happy! There were no crowds at Disneyland during the summer vacation 🤗, and there will be fewer and fewer people in the future. Welcome to Shanghai Disneyland, where you don't have to deal with anyone's bad attitude; just let loose and have fun!

This is an old hotel that's been around for decades, and you can tell that the furniture used back in the day was top-notch. The rooms are spacious, elegantly decorated, and well-equipped with various facilities. However, with time, it's a bit outdated now; the lack of smart toilets is a noticeable drawback. But on the bright side, the spacious rooms, elegant decor, and comprehensive facilities, along with meticulous cleaning, really allow us to sleep soundly and comfortably without a worry. I absolutely have to give a huge shout-out for the hotel's service and food! 👍 **Service:** It was Dragon Boat Festival, which coincided with my mother's birthday and Father's Day, so I came back to Shenzhen to celebrate with my parents. Since the booking was quite last-minute, I messaged the hotel, just hoping, to ask if they could arrange a birthday setup. The hotel staff readily agreed and did an amazing job with the birthday decorations! Upon arrival, we were informed that both rooms had been complimentary upgraded to high-floor deluxe rooms, and the birthday decorations inside the rooms were perfect! I'm incredibly satisfied! 😊 **Food:** Breakfast is served at the all-day dining restaurant, the Beer Bar on the 3rd floor. IHG members can move to the Prego Italian restaurant for a quieter atmosphere. The continental buffet breakfast offers a rich variety and excellent quality, including a noodle station and made-to-order omelets. The omelets and black truffle scrambled eggs were particularly amazing! For lunch, we used a dining voucher at the Fu Lin Men restaurant on the 2nd floor. Note that the voucher can only be used for à la carte stir-fries; it's not applicable for tea or dim sum, and cannot be combined with member discounts or group purchases. The dim sum at Fu Lin Men is excellent; the shrimp dumplings are smooth and tender, the tripe is crisp, and the stir-fries are consistently good. After using the voucher, the total cost for three people was 210 yuan, which was a very satisfying meal overall! 😋 Great value for money! The environment and decor are good. My only suggestion for improvement is that the doorman at the main entrance should be more professional and responsible. They need to pay attention when cars are parking to prevent 'door dings' from damaging properly parked vehicles. I'm really speechless; my car needs new paint protection film and dent repair because the paint was chipped and indented, and the film was torn.

Hisoar doesn’t feel like a 5-star hotel. The hair dryer is very old, the washer/dryer doesn’t dry, the elevator is very slow, and the floor creaks. Sound proofing between floors is poor. There was a huge black bag of trash left in the elevator lobby on my floor for the entire day. The room is quite spacious, and the bedding is excellent. The sheets and pillows are very comfortable, so I slept exceptionally well. Getting a good night's sleep in a hotel is very important, and this is high praise indeed. The hotel's decor is stylish, making you feel relaxed the moment you walk in. Breakfast deserves a special mention; the variety is rich, and the taste is unparalleled. The Cantonese breakfast was delicious, and the egg rolls and eggs Benedict were also very good. The only downside is that if you go late for breakfast, you might have to queue, but there are plenty of seats, so even if there's a line, it moves quickly. The coffee and tea at breakfast are also excellent. Freya, Winky, and Monuca at the front desk are very thoughtful. They genuinely care if you're enjoying your stay and promptly address any issues that arise during check-in. The front desk for check-in is on the 33rd floor with a great view. The executive lounge is a nice place to relax and unwind. Afternoon tea consists of two types of cake and some beverages. Dinner is relatively simple but has everything you need, including a noodle bar, which shows a good effort. Overall, the stay was very comfortable, and I would choose this hotel again if I return. However, there are three minor drawbacks I must mention: 1. One side of the hotel faces a large construction site, so the view isn't great. There's not much the hotel can do about this, as it's already well-maintained, but the surrounding environment does detract a bit. Perhaps future stays could compensate for this view deficit. 2. Light leaks from one side of the curtains, which can slightly affect sleep. 3. For such a high-end hotel, the complimentary water was Nongfu Spring with a red cap. While Nongfu Spring is good, I feel an upgrade to the water would be more fitting. Hygene: The cleaning was very detailed and thorough. The cleaning staff were all smiles and greeted me warmly, which put me in a good mood. Service: Whether it was the concierge on the first floor or the staff in the executive lounge/breakfast restaurant, everyone was incredibly friendly and made me feel very comfortable.

This hotel is a long-standing star hotel in Shenzhen, full of a sense of history. The walls from the second to third floors are adorned with photos of visiting dignitaries, entertainment stars, and athletes from various countries, showcasing its past glory. The dragon-patterned elevator in the lobby also possesses an artistic beauty and is quite unique. Upon check-in, the friendly front desk staff thoughtfully upgraded me to a river view room. Outside the window was the Shenzhen River, with the natural beauty of Hong Kong on the opposite bank. In the evening, I even enjoyed a splendid sunset from my room – it was absolutely breathtaking. The hotel's gym and restaurant are also worth commending. In terms of transportation, it's only about a 10-minute walk from the hotel to Luohu Port and Shenzhen Luohu Railway Station, which is very convenient. The only thing to note is that after exiting Luohu Port and taking the escalator on the left (towards Heping Road), you'll need to cross a sky bridge to reach the hotel. If you can't find the sky bridge, it's easy to get lost around the railway station. Additionally, ordering takeout is very convenient; there's a takeout locker on the first floor for self-pickup, though you need your room card to use the elevator, so delivery can't reach your room door. Also, this hotel has a lot of foreign guests, making it a perfect choice for those crossing the border to Hong Kong. I will definitely stay here again. The happiest part was that during my stay, I happened to encounter the 2026 Antiques and Art Exhibition on the third floor, where I saw many genuine paintings by famous artists and precious antique collections – it was a real feast for the eyes ❤️

It's been a while since I brought my family to stay at the Four Seasons Shenzhen. On the day of check-in, Max contacted me and enthusiastically arranged for us to check in directly at the Executive Lounge on the 29th floor, which felt very welcoming! He also helped upgrade us to a suite on the 30th floor and thoughtfully arranged a small bed and a little tent for the child. Previously, he made a personalized key card for me, which I still carry. This time, he made a cute bear-themed key card for my child with her name printed on it, and she absolutely loved it! I've also stayed at the Four Seasons in Guangzhou, Tianjin, and Beijing before, and they were all excellent! But I feel a special connection to the Four Seasons Shenzhen; every time I come back, it feels like returning home. Perhaps this is the true essence of a top-tier hotel. The Executive Lounge has seen some changes; breakfast is now served as a set menu, which is quite good. They prepare just enough portions for the number of guests, which is quite eco-friendly. I feel the entire hotel has a very strong environmental consciousness, including the packaging of toothpaste and the wooden toothbrushes, etc. APEC Shenzhen is coming up soon, and the Four Seasons should be the official hotel, meeting very international standards. The Bose sound system in the room is also a nice touch. The Executive Lounge experience was great this time; the supervisor, Cecilie, was very warm, and Chadi even came over personally to greet my family during dinner, which was a pleasant surprise. I used AI to summarize my overall stay, and here's my experience: This stay was a disappointment because the hotel pool, which I specifically wanted to experience, was completely unusable for various reasons. It rained continuously for all three days of our stay due to bad weather, and on one day, an orange rainstorm warning was even issued. On top of that, my daughter inexplicably developed a fever on the first night. Although the hotel was very thoughtful and arranged a late check-out on the last day, my daughter hadn't fully recovered. Even when the rain stopped, the sky remained gloomy, and I didn't dare let her swim, which made this trip quite unpleasant. If I couldn't use the hotel pool, I definitely wouldn't have chosen this hotel to celebrate a birthday. The hotel is located right next to Exit C of Overseas Chinese Town Metro Station, with only a short open-air section. However, if you're pushing a stroller, you need to be extra careful as there are a few steps along the way where you'll have to lift it. To get to the nearest Yitian Holiday Plaza, you need to take one stop to Window of the World, which is a bit inconvenient. What I liked: Simple birthday decorations were provided. Room Quality and Design: The room was spacious and comfortable with a bathtub, and the lighting was easy to adjust. I particularly liked the reading/night light design next to the bed, which was very practical. (It would be even better if disposable bath liners/bags were provided, like in other hotels.) Excellent Service Attitude: The front desk team provided excellent service, they were friendly and always smiling. I especially want to praise the male staff member in charge of the carousel; he performed magic tricks and managed the facility, all with a very kind service attitude! Recreational Facilities: The outdoor playground and carousel facilities at the hotel were excellent, and my children had a wonderful time! Areas for Improvement: Room Amenities and Facilities: After the room was cleaned, the tea bags were not replenished. For a hotel of your caliber, the attention to detail in amenities is clearly lacking. Additionally, only instant coffee was provided in the room, with no coffee machine or milk, which is slightly inferior compared to other hotels in the same chain (such as Marriott or The OCT Harbour, Shenzhen – Blue Lagoon). Fruit Quality Control: One of the apples in the welcome fruit platter in the room was rotten to the core when cut open. I hope the hotel can strengthen quality checks before delivering items to rooms to ensure fresh produce is provided! Insufficient Bed Space: The double bed was relatively narrow, making it quite cramped for one adult and a 10-year-old child to sleep together, severely affecting sleep quality. Overly Thick Mattress: The mattress thickness was a bit exaggerated, making the bed surface too high and very inconvenient for getting in and out of bed. Facility Safety and Hygiene: In the small indoor building block playroom next to the outdoor playground, the blocks were slightly worn. I even found instances where the outer layer of some blocks had peeled off, exposing sharp wooden edges, which is very dangerous. Please make sure to strengthen cleaning and maintenance and immediately replace damaged facilities.

This was my first stay at a St. Regis, and overall I was very happy and comfortable. From the moment I arrived at the hotel to check in, I experienced a signature St. Regis feature: butler service. The staff at the front desk were very patient during check-in. The room itself was very comfortable with great views, and staying at the St. Regis saved me a lot of hassle.

The hotel's location is excellent and very convenient. The front desk staff, especially Nicole, was incredibly enthusiastic. She communicated with me many times both before and after check-in, for which I'm very grateful! She's beautiful and kind, haha. Before my arrival, I specifically contacted her to discuss my work needs. She was so helpful with issuing invoices, bringing water, and changing facilities – her service felt truly thoughtful and efficient. It was a great experience with a fantastic view. Thumbs up for Nicole!

Room: Excellent! 👍 The room was spacious and bright, and the high-floor view was fantastic. It was so relaxing to sit inside and watch the sea. The twin beds were easy to push together, making it very family-friendly for those with kids. Location: Unbeatable! ❤️ Our main goal this Dragon Boat Festival was to explore the Yantian coastline. The hotel is super close to the subway, making Dameisha, Xiaomeisha, and Xichong all easily accessible by metro. It was also convenient to walk to Yating Bay to catch the Haishan Line to Enshang Wetland Park. We had a very fulfilling three-day holiday. Facilities: The hotel isn't specifically geared towards families, so we only tried the pool, which was good. However, with One City Mall right downstairs, you have everything you need, which is incredibly convenient. Breakfast: Very satisfied! 😘 Everything was great, except for a bit of a wait during peak hours. They had freshly made wontons and waffles, as well as fresh squeezed juice. All the breads were delicious. Overall, highly recommended! ~

This was my first stay at this Grand Skylight Hotel, and the overall decor is acceptable. However, the biggest issue with this stay was the insufficient water pressure in the shower. I called the front desk in the evening to inquire about it, but the staff couldn't offer an effective solution and weren't able to arrange for an engineer to come up and fix it. The front desk staff were reasonably efficient and polite during check-in. The only significant problem was the extremely weak water pressure. Overall, I wouldn't really recommend staying here.

Great hotel. Nice, modern and clean. The room was good too. Comfy bed with medium firmness. Great shower and toilet with auto wash. Aircon worked very well. The tv was a projector onto a big projector screen but we had no idea how to use it as it was in Chinese. The lights had some variations but none that let us control the lights we actually wanted on. This could be improved. Location was excellent to the Bell Tower area. Metro stop on the doorstep but a bit of a walk to the actual train line. Muslim Quarter a 10 min walk. Breakfast catered for the Chinese palette. My husband loved it.  There was a free laundry room which was very handy and we got all our dirty clothes washed and dried in about an hour. Check out going well when they gave us a bag of sweets which we thought was really lovely until we realised it was effectively a bribe when the staff (very politely) insisted we do a 5 star review there and then. That request ironically was the one thing I did not like at all. Do not ask try to force your customers to review what you want them to. Reviews are personal and should reflect their experience plus it’s rude!

My overall experience during this stay was quite good. Upon check-in, I was assigned a low-floor room. On the first night, I noticed the air conditioning wasn't cooling effectively, so I reported the issue to the hotel. The staff responded very quickly and efficiently arranged an upgrade to a high-floor room. The service staff were warm and attentive. They followed up proactively multiple times to inquire about my stay and the quality of service, showing great attention to detail. This is an older five-star hotel, so the hardware facilities are a bit dated, and some equipment might have minor issues, but it's well-maintained and clean. Overall, the hotel's location is convenient, and the excellent service compensated for the older facilities. It offers great value for money, suitable for both business and leisure travelers. It would be even better if the hardware facilities were updated in the future. I definitely recommend it.

I stayed for 4 nights to celebrate my birthday while traveling in Xi'an. I asked the hotel if they could arrange a birthday cake, and they readily agreed! Not only was the cake large, but it was also delicious – even better than ones you buy outside. I'm so grateful to the hotel for that. The breakfast was also very substantial. From the front desk to room service to the breakfast staff, everyone provided wonderfully comfortable and thoughtful service. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Xi'an. The only minor drawback was that the swimming pool had some floating lint when I checked in back in April, but it cleared up by the third day of my stay.

This is an older 5-star hotel 🌟. There's no butler service, no smart toilet 🚽, no welcome fruit, and no free minibar… BUT it's right next to Xi'an City Wall's Yongning Gate, with several large shopping malls nearby. The delivery robot 🤖 brings food right to your room, and the lobby bar has delightful piano music 🎶 in the evenings. The room soundproofing is excellent 👍. I highly recommend the hotel's buffet breakfast – it's great value for money, and you can try all sorts of local delicacies. Dear Housekeeping Department of HUAQING YUTANG Hotel and all the wonderful staff who have taken such meticulous care of us: Greetings and blessings to you all! As international visitors from Russia, my son and I had the privilege of checking into your esteemed establishment today. As I sit in this room, imbued with an undeniable oriental charm, my heart is filled not only with inexpressible emotion but also with profound awe. Walking through your property feels like stepping into a magnificent Tang Dynasty painting that has been passed down through a thousand years – truly, 'every step is a beautiful scene, every corner is a wonder'! Each pavilion, every bridge and flowing stream is breathtakingly beautiful, leaving us spellbound and enchanted. The joy and pleasure we feel within are simply beyond words. Your hotel's exceptional service, transcending perfection, combined with these exquisite imperial gardens, has utterly captivated us and made our dream of experiencing Chinese culture come true! As a professional tea ceremony artist in Russia dedicated to spreading oriental tea culture, seeing the exquisitely prepared tea set in the room immediately filled my heart with warmth. While I typically use traditional wooden tea trays, I was genuinely amazed to find that your room was equipped with a remarkably beautiful and incredibly rare metal (iron) miniature tea tray! I have never seen such an ingeniously crafted material in Russia. This metal tea tray is perfect for brewing tea; there's no need to worry about it cracking or deforming from prolonged tea soaking, as wooden trays often do. The user experience is incredibly comfortable and elegant. Moreover, its size is designed with exceptional precision, perfectly accommodating two precious pairs of tea cups (including tasting cups and aroma-sniffing cups). To be able to personally brew a pot of fragrant tea with such a sophisticated tea set, which combines modern practicality with classical grandeur, after a tiring journey, truly touched the soul of an international tea connoisseur with your utmost respect for the details of tea ceremony and your impeccable taste. What moved our entire family even more deeply and will remain unforgettable are the unparalleled human touches and care you all provided in every small detail: 1. What truly astonished and delighted us was that your hotel meticulously selected and reserved prime, central VIP seats for us to watch 'The Song of Everlasting Sorrow' live Tang Dynasty dance drama! Our seats were perfectly aligned with the central axis of the stage, offering a grand and unobstructed view. Tonight, we were able to fully appreciate the awe and romance of this magnificent spectacle from the most perfect and esteemed vantage point. Our hearts were stirred for a long time afterward; it was an unparalleled artistic enjoyment! 2. Upon hearing that my son's sunglasses were accidentally damaged, your team not only showed no hesitation but proactively and incredibly patiently helped him repair them with glue. The summer sun in Xi'an is scorching, and my son is extremely sensitive to light. What you repaired with your own hands was not just a pair of glasses, but you saved his most beautiful, clear memories of this ancient city! 3. Whether it was my request for ice or any other small request, all the staff members responded perfectly every single time with the quickest speed and the most gentle, respectful smiles. 4. When we returned to our room, a little tired after a fulfilling day of intangible cultural heritage experiences, we were greeted by a steaming hot, incredibly delicious bowl of white mushroom imperial porridge. At that moment, a warmth transcending borders struck our hearts, and the fatigue of the journey instantly vanished, replaced by a heart full of warmth. Today, we had the privilege of experiencing two flowing and profoundly rich intangible cultural heritage master classes, truly fulfilling my son's and my dream of experiencing Tang Dynasty culture. Please accept our sincerest and highest gratitude as mother and son! Upon returning to Russia, I will certainly recommend our beautiful photos from HUAQING YUTANG and this dreamlike experience with the utmost praise to all our friends and family. The location is excellent, offering a quiet retreat in a bustling area. Downstairs, near Zhonglou Community, there are many popular online shops, including a multi-concept noodle shop and a mung bean cake store. On the roadside in front of Zhonglou Community, there's a place selling spicy soup and beef pancakes for breakfast, which tasted great. The hotel's coffee is quite good, but the breakfast selection was limited with not much fresh pastry or other options, only the egg fried rice was decent. The bathroom lighting is too bright; it needs a softer option. The two upward-facing spotlights by the bedside tables are a nice design, but they're not very practical as it's easy to hit your hand when turning them on or off at night. Staff were proactive in greeting guests in common areas, and luggage storage was complimentary. 2. **Excellent Hospitality**: The hotel generously offered complimentary breakfast, and the first round of the minibar, including alcoholic beverages, was free. Definitely a big plus! 3. **Stylish Public Areas**: The hotel's common areas are well-designed and unique, incorporating historical architectural elements (a signature feature of Sofitel Legend properties). There's a 24-hour gym, and the garden environment is outstanding. 4. **Comfortable Bedding**: The bedding was very soft. The Prestige Suite itself was a reasonable size with a well-thought-out layout, though the TV was a bit old and detracted from the experience.

High-tech Development Zone Xi'an|9.65km from downtown
Just checked out on July 11th, and I absolutely have to give this hotel a big shout-out! Xi'an has been scorching hot lately, like a steaming basket, but the moment you step into the lobby, a blast of cool air instantly revives you. The hotel is located in the Gaoxin CBD, and the Zhangba Yilu Station of Metro Line 6 is just a few minutes' walk downstairs. A taxi ride to the Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City takes only about ten to twenty minutes. Although it's a bit further from the Bell Tower, this area is quiet, with skyscrapers all around. They look especially beautiful when lit up at night, making for great photo opportunities. Parking is also a breeze. We drove here, and the hotel has a public underground parking lot, which is free to use and even has EV charging spots, making it very friendly for electric car owners – no need to hunt for chargers when you go out. Food is definitely not an issue – directly opposite is Yitian Holiday Plaza, just cross the street. We had a Shaanxi meal at Chang'an Grand Theater (Gaoxin Yitian store), complete with Gourd Chicken and Brush Pastry. For convenience, we also tried Wei Family Liangpi downstairs, which was filling for around 20+ RMB per person. If you want something nicer, there's Haidilao, Xu Ji Seafood, and Xiaoxiang Pavilion all in the mall, with so many options you'll be spoilt for choice. The hotel's own breakfast is also highly recommended; the Roujiamo (meat burger) is freshly made, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and they also have oil-splashed noodles – eating them makes you sweat and feels incredibly refreshing. Indeed, the room is spacious, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer an unbeatable view. The most thoughtful part is the powerful air conditioning; we even had to use the duvet at night because it wasn't hot at all. The amenities smell great, and they provided plenty of bottled water, which was super practical in this heat. The bed was really comfortable, and the soundproofing was good too; I slept soundly until morning. I originally wanted to go for a swim to cool off but didn't get the chance; I'll definitely make up for it next time. The service was also impeccable; they quickly helped us call a taxi when we left. For this price, to stay in such quality, it's truly worth it. Highly recommended!

I have to give this hotel a perfect score! The location is incredibly convenient for getting around and shopping. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and check-in and check-out were very efficient. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a very peaceful sleep. The breakfast had a wide variety of fresh options. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in the area. Highly recommend!

The overall environment is quite good, and the service is attentive and responsive to all requests. We received complimentary welcome fruit, and breakfast for our child was waived. The room style is modern Chinese, which I really liked. Although the location is on Keji Road, there's a mall downstairs, so it doesn't feel too out of the way. Taking a taxi to tourist attractions is also very convenient.

Zhonggulou Square (Downtown) Xi'an|0.47km from downtown
Overall, the room was good. It's right next to the subway station and very close to the Bell Tower, making it super convenient for getting around. The only minor issue was that the air conditioning in the room was a bit noisy, but since I was so tired from exploring all day, I fell asleep right away, so it didn't really bother me. The main reason for my good review is the excellent service – the staff at the front desk, both the young ladies and gentlemen, were very enthusiastic, and the cleaning auntie was also very meticulous and thorough.

The front desk staff were very thoughtful, the room was clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. Any issues were resolved with a quick call. It's a great place for friends traveling together, with a convenient location less than 100 meters from the subway station and plenty of food and drink options nearby. I'll definitely choose this place again next time! ✨✨

Right across from the Drum Tower, the location is excellent. The room was clean, tidy, spacious, and bright, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. The staff cleaned punctually every day. When checking out, the front desk lady even asked if I needed two bottles of warm mineral water, which was very thoughtful. The only minor drawback is that the room isn't soundproof. However, I still love staying at Ji Hotel; I like its layout, the small tea table, and the black tea is good too.

I did a lot of research for my trip to Xi'an and finally settled on this hotel. The location is absolutely unbeatable. Xiangzimiao Street is right downstairs, full of unique shops. It was so convenient to explore late into the evening and just walk a few steps back to the hotel. The biggest surprise was the fourth-floor terrace. Having breakfast there in the morning was a real 'wow' moment! It faces directly onto the Yongning Gate city wall, and the view is just incredible. Every photo I took looked great, and so many people asked me which hotel it was when I posted them. The breakfast tasted delicious, and I recommend the beef noodles. Honestly, just sitting there and eating felt so atmospheric. The room itself was very clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom's wet/dry separation was well-done. My only minor regret is that the bar street downstairs can be a bit noisy at night, but the hotel provides earplugs, so I was still able to sleep. Overall, it's excellent value for money, and I'd definitely stay here again when I bring my parents next time.

Datang West Market/West Xi'an Xi'an|3.84km from downtown
Service: Every lady at the front desk was kind and extremely attentive. We checked out a bit late, and they extended our checkout time to 3 PM, which was really thoughtful. The staff even helped us with our luggage to the car and offered us drinks. Cleanliness: The room was tidy and comfortable, and the bedding and bath amenities were very clean. However, the pillows had a slight odor of hair oil. Environment: The surrounding area has convenient transportation. The Xigong University subway station is just a few minutes' walk away, including a pedestrian overpass. There are also street food vendors just a few steps away. My only complaint is that Xi'an surprisingly doesn't have shared e-bikes, only shared bicycles. Riding a bicycle to tourist attractions will make you question your life choices. I recommend taking a taxi or, if you're looking for a more affordable option, combining it with subway transfers.
