The Westin Xi’an（2-min walk to UNESCO Wild Goose Pagoda & 15min to Shaanxi History Museum）

After much deliberation for this trip, I chose The Westin Hotel. It's conveniently located next to the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, and the Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City is within walking distance. The overall design features Tang Dynasty-style courtyards, with a grand lobby exuding ancient charm. The guest rooms are spacious and comfortable, and some even offer views of the pagoda's night scenery. The hotel boasts a full range of facilities, including a swimming pool and a gym. Breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, with many local Xi'an flavors to sample. During the summer, it was noticeable that the hotel was quite busy, with the restaurant usually full between 8:00 AM and 9:30 AM. Since the hotel opened quite a while ago, some facilities show their age slightly, but overall, it's clean and well-maintained. Upon check-in, the hotel provided complimentary tickets to the Qujiang Art Museum, which is directly accessible via an elevator from the hotel lobby. The main exhibition hall showcases exquisite gold and jade artifacts, with dazzling Ming and Qing dynasty gold jewelry and jade pieces. There are also ceramic exhibition halls and a Picasso exhibition. You can scan QR codes to listen to audio guides, and a thorough visit takes about an hour and a half. Staying here allows you to leisurely visit the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda in the evening and explore the Everbright City at night, saving you the hassle of commuting. The nearby Joy City offers convenient shopping and dining options. During my stay, coffee and milk tea ordered were promptly delivered to my room by robots.

The room's smart features are excellent, and it even has its own museum. The location is very convenient for transportation and nearby attractions. Upon arrival, we received a complimentary fruit plate. The staff were polite and attentive, and the breakfast spread was quite good. Extending our stay in the same room was easy, and we were even upgraded to a 2 PM late check-out. We were able to check in.

This hotel is super convenient for tourists, with excellent transportation links. Nico arranged an upgrade for me, and the room had a nice street view. Everything was very clean, and the hotel facilities were all-encompassing!

Had a great experience! The room was very comfortable and quiet, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The Chinese restaurant was especially good. The staff were all very friendly and enthusiastic. The hotel is also conveniently located close to all the attractions.

The service was incredibly warm and welcoming right from the moment we stepped out of the car. The hotel environment is lovely and comfortable. What really stands out is its excellent location, right next to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City.

This hotel has a very old-money vibe, with a predominantly Chinese-style decor. This time, I checked in at the lounge, and the overall experience was great. The ladies at the lounge were very professional. Both the morning and evening views had their own unique charm. The room itself was entirely Chinese-themed, and the atrium on the B1 floor had a wonderful ambiance. It's surrounded by Grand Joy City and the Sleepless City, so the facilities are comprehensive. There's direct access to a Starbucks Reserve from downstairs, which is very convenient.

This stay was a family trip, and the experience exceeded our expectations. I initially thought being near a scenic area might mean noise, but the front desk staff, Cayla and Stephen, were incredibly patient. Check-in was very fast, and they were always quick to respond to any issues. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was very comfortable, and the public areas were also nice. Overall, it didn't feel like a rigid, stereotypical service; it was just comfortable and natural. I'll choose Marriott hotels again next time and will definitely recommend this Westin to my friends and family! 👍🏻

The location is fantastic, right in the heart of a bustling area, next to the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda and across from Joy City. It's incredibly convenient for sightseeing, taking photos, dining, and shopping. The Qujiang Museum of Fine Arts within the hotel is also worth a visit for some photos; it's much easier to get good shots there due to fewer crowds compared to the Shaanxi History Museum. The hotel rooms are quite good, though if you're assigned a room far from the lobby, you might have a bit of a walk. Overall, it offers good value for money and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Xi'an.
