Hilton Beijing Wangfujing

The location is excellent, right next to Wangfujing Pedestrian Street. The room is spacious and well-equipped. Breakfast offers a wide variety of choices. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Beijing.

I booked this hotel for my friends, and they were very satisfied with their stay. The room was spacious and well-arranged, making for a very comfortable experience. The breakfast was also excellent. They had a wonderfully enjoyable trip!

The room was spacious and the location near Wangfujing was super convenient for getting around, even walkable to the Forbidden City. I was a bit worried before booking because of some reviews mentioning old rooms and poor service, but my actual experience was completely different. As soon as we arrived at the entrance with our two suitcases, a staff member guided us in and helped with our luggage. The front desk staff were all very polite, clearly explained everything, and proactively asked if we needed toothbrushes or other amenities. Once in the room, it really didn't feel like a hotel built in '09. The basic facilities were very well-maintained; perhaps the decor was a bit dated, but it didn't affect its usability. My favorite parts were the walk-in closet and the bathroom. My family and I really loved our stay at the Hilton Beijing Wangfujing.

Overall, we had a great experience staying here with our child. Ms. Ding Yuzhu was incredibly enthusiastic from booking our room to checking in, and she promptly helped us with any issues we had. Since we had a baby who needed a nap, she even helped me arrange a late check-out. All in all, I'm very grateful.

I never leave bad reviews, but yesterday we arrived at the hotel at 6 AM after an international flight. The front desk told us they were fully booked the night before and suggested an upgrade to a 100-square-meter suite for an extra 430. My husband and I discussed it and agreed. However, when I received the confirmation to sign, the price had jumped to over 700. Since we had our child with us, we chose to compromise, signed, and went upstairs. So, we ended up paying over 2000 for one night, and we accepted it. But then, at 6 AM the next morning, we were woken up by the sunlight streaming through the curtains because they didn't block it out. Is this what you'd expect from a 2000-a-night hotel? The duty manager added me on WeChat and kept using the fact that I signed the confirmation as an excuse, saying I could have refused at the time. I chose to pay 2000 because I trusted the reputation of a five-star hotel, not because I'd agree to curtains that don't even close properly.

Our stay was extended by a day due to a typhoon, but check-in was super quick. They were also very accommodating and allowed us a late check-out given the circumstances, which I really appreciated.

Great location! Just one metro stop from Tiananmen Square, and you can walk straight to the Forbidden City along Dong'an Street. The service was also excellent. No complaints, other than it being a bit pricey.
