Fillmore International Hotel Hangzhou (Xintiandi Branch)

"The room is large and spacious. Loved that the toilet and shower are separate, with a sliding door separating the toilet space from the room, though the door is still quite see-through when close to it. Location seems good, with a rather large mall located opposite the hotel, providing lots of food and drink options. For the room type we stayed in, there is a washer cum dryer, which made doing laundry super convenient. Detergent for laundry is also provided. The only issue was that on the last night, when we came back (after houskeeping), the room smelled of cigarettes. Called the front desk, and they provided an air purifier to help with the smell. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and will recommend the hotel."

"Pros: The environment is elegant, check-in and check-out at the front desk are quick, the room is spacious and not cramped, the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the service attitude is excellent – every staff member greets you. Cons: Having to pay a deposit and then wait for a refund in this day and age feels quite outdated."

"My stay at the Lanshi Pan Hotel far exceeded my expectations. The front desk service was incredibly thoughtful 💙💙💙; they proactively upgraded my room for free, which instantly made a great impression. The room was meticulously cleaned; there wasn't a speck of dust on the floor or in the bathroom corners. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the 24-hour hot water had stable pressure. All the toiletries were well-stocked. The surrounding area has excellent amenities, with restaurants and shopping within easy reach. The only minor downside is that the soundproofing of the walls isn't great, and I could occasionally hear movement next door, but it didn't affect my sleep at all. The staff were gentle and efficient. For the price, it offers great value for money, and I'll definitely prioritize staying here again next time I'm in the area."

"I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The service was warm, attentive, and the staff were always helpful throughout the trip. One of the biggest highlights was the excellent location — it is very conveniently located near 西湖, making it easy to explore the area on foot and enjoy the beautiful scenery nearby. The amenities were generally good, though the hotel is still undergoing some renovations in the lobby area. Despite that, the stay itself remained comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel for its hospitality and fantastic location."

The Silk Lakehouse, Shangri-La Hangzhou ★★★★★
"Travel isn't just about sightseeing; it's about experiencing the culture of a city, where you stay, and the people you meet. I'm so glad I chose Shangri-La Water Side Zhixin Residence by West Lake for this trip. The Private Travel Master team, including Heidi, Sam, Vanessa, Gina, and Tommy, helped resolve all sorts of issues throughout my stay. I really appreciate their non-intrusive service – they were there when needed, which was perfect. The hotel's decor and design blend seamlessly with the West Lake scenery. The breakfast was outstanding, and although I didn't have time to experience the hotel's cultural classes, I'm sure they are very thoughtfully prepared. I have one small suggestion, though it doesn't diminish my five-star rating. The hotel partners with Sisley for toiletries, but the shampoo and shower gel come in small travel-sized bottles, which aren't very convenient to use. While Sisley doesn't offer larger bottles for sale, brands like Le Labo and Diptyque provide full-sized amenities for hotels like Park Hyatt and Mandarin Oriental, which are much more convenient to use. Perhaps this is something to consider. Overall, it's the top choice for experiencing the beautiful scenery of West Lake when visiting Hangzhou."

"This stay was absolutely fantastic, and the front desk service was incredibly thoughtful! After checking in, they proactively helped with our luggage, so we didn't have to lift a finger the whole time. Seeing that we had a child, they even thoughtfully brought over a kids' dental kit – so many warm and considerate details! The service was enthusiastic and thorough, making our stay a perfect ten. We'll definitely be back!"

Laninno International Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport Grand Exhibition Center Hotel ★★★★
"First off, this hotel offers great value for money. The facilities are complete, the environment is comfortable, and the room was pretty clean. The staff were all very warm and friendly. Secondly, the transportation is quite convenient; turn right out of the hotel and walk about 200 meters to the subway station entrance, which has direct lines to West Lake Scenic Area, Hangzhou East Railway Station, and Xiaoshan Airport. Thirdly, the breakfast was decent. The wontons were freshly made, and there was a good variety of items like fruit, salad, noodles, buns, siumai, and cakes. While the selection wasn't huge, it felt like they had everything, and certainly enough to eat. Besides being a bit far from the city center, I felt everything else was quite good."

"A perfect stay! Even during the busy May Day holiday, the service was excellent, and we never felt neglected or rushed. Ms. Mariah took great care of us right from check-in, calming us down after a long, stressful journey through traffic. The room, breakfast, and spa were all high-quality. I highly recommend the Thai spa—it was fantastic, no need to go all the way to Thailand!"

Zhejiang Hotel ★★★★
"This hotel was comfortable and very close proximity to the train station. It is just literally a road across from the hotel and we lobby realised on our last day. Walking to the West Lake was a close 10min walk. It was not a strenuous walk as you will be going through a mall with lots of food and shops to get to West Lake. The male staff at the reception who checked us in was polite but the ladies were more welcoming. There were 2 lady staff at the restaurant for breakfast who were extremely caring and nice to my son. They would ask me if I wanted to pack some food for him as they noticed he did not eat much. This is a lovely gesture other hotels do not usually have. I love our tatami room as it combines into a huge bed that is comfortable for 3-4 petite people. The only downside is the Laundry room where it is located in a room where the door can be closed. This made me feel unsafe as there was one night where 3 other male guests came in with a top and underwear. Though there are CCTVs but just felt the laundry room would be better if it is near the reception area which is similar to one of the Shanghai hotel I stayed in. The dryer was weak and took many hours to dry my clothes therefore I observed for many nights, the dryers would constantly be in use for long periods. Overall Hangzhou service is so much better than Shanghai. Everyone is caring and lovely. I would highly recommend this hotel."
