Romantic Hotels in Hangzhou

We had a wonderful time staying here. We’ve stayed in many places before, but we’ve never experienced staff as helpful as they are here! We got quick help with everything, and whatever we asked, we got an answer right away. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the view from our room window was beautiful! The room was clean, we have absolutely nothing to complain about!

The breakfast was pathetic. The hot spring bath was basically a communal bathhouse. The pool was terrible, easy to get hurt and bleed. Swimsuits bought on site were ten times the price of those outside. If you want to participate in activities, you have to follow the hotel's schedule, you can't just use a car whenever you want, which was very inconvenient. Other than golf, there was nothing else to do nearby. The cycling scenery was just mediocre, and the mountain view from the scripture copying area was also just okay. There were no places to wander around. Besides the golf course, which you couldn't even enter freely. Although the service at the Western restaurant for dinner was good, the ingredients were just average. The food at the Chinese restaurant for lunch and dinner wasn't very tasty, and the prices were high. I wouldn't want to come again.

Choosing Orange Crystal Nanshan Road for our West Lake trip was beyond expectations, highly recommended! The hotel is located on the artistic Nanshan Road, an absolutely prime location. It's just a few minutes' walk to 'Orioles Singing in the Willows', and very close to Qianwang Temple, Leifeng Pagoda, and the China Academy of Art. It's incredibly convenient for strolls around West Lake in the morning and evening, saving a lot of travel time. The lobby has a great design, with high ceilings and transparent, elegant glass spaces. The panoramic elevator is a unique feature, and there's also a self-service pour-over coffee station in the lobby, perfect for a break during your travels. The guest rooms are clean, tidy, and spacious, with soft and comfortable bedding and good quality bathroom fixtures. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, making it very quiet at night for a restful sleep. The front desk staff were warm and courteous, and check-in was efficient. They also offered thoughtful advice for exploring West Lake. The housekeeping staff were meticulous, and the rooms were well-maintained. The overall decor is a simple, light luxury style with a great ambiance, suitable for both leisure vacations and short trips. We'll definitely prioritize this hotel for our next visit to West Lake!

Our stay at the InterContinental One Thousand Island Lake was overall quite pleasant, and we'd especially like to thank our butler, Jolie. Even while on vacation, she went above and beyond to help us arrange a lamp for our child and assisted with a late check-out request. Her service was truly thoughtful and attentive. The lake view from building B is absolutely stunning; you can relax and take in the beautiful Qiandao Lake scenery from your room, making for a truly comfortable and relaxing vacation experience. A small suggestion for improvement: aside from swimming, there aren't many water activities near the hotel. We recommend the hotel consider offering activities like kayaking or water biking.

Went to Qiandao Lake with a friend. The pre-sale price on Trip.com was actually better than on the app. The hotel environment is excellent, no complaints there. Although the hotel is a bit older, the decor still looks great and isn't outdated at all, even by today's standards. The view from the selected lake-view room was also nice. The only downside is that the island across is quite close, so perhaps the depth of field isn't ideal. However, the service facilities in all other aspects were perfect. For this price, I really can't find anything to complain about. I'm not sure why there are negative reviews 😂. This trip was hosted by Anna Dai, and the overall service was superb. Breakfast was just average; felt like there weren't many options. As a membership member, I received a complimentary preserved vegetable pastry, which was a nice touch. Overall, a very good experience.

The environment here is fantastic! The lobby has books, a guzheng (Chinese zither), and calligraphy brushes, plus two adorable parrots 🦜. I'm very satisfied with this hotel; the rooms are spotless, and the front desk staff are wonderful. It's also very convenient for getting around. To go to West Lake, you just need to take the subway to Xiuxi Road Station. I really love it and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hangzhou.

The lobby is grand, and the front desk staff are warm and attentive, providing complimentary late check-out and early check-in. The room is clean and bright, offering distant views of West Lake. The bathroom features a wet/dry separation, a spacious shower, and good water temperature. The bar area is large, and bottled water is unlimited daily. The cleaning staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The breakfast spread is rich, with both Chinese and Western options. Freshly squeezed juice and aromatic coffee are highlights.

They have an Instagram-worthy infinity pool, an indoor heated pool, a billiards room, a gym, a table tennis room, a pool hall, and a ball pit for kids. Outdoors, there's a sand digging area, making it very convenient if you're traveling with children. For the indoor swimming pool, remember to bring your swimsuits, caps, and floats in advance. The Chinese restaurant on the second floor has moderate prices; I recommend the braised pork with tea fragrance. For breakfast on the second day, come early to snag a window seat with lake views. They proactively offer introductions to the dishes, including noodles, wontons, and Jianbing Guozi (Chinese savory crepes). The room's air conditioning was already on when we arrived, and it features panoramic windows, a dehumidifier, and complimentary welcome fruits. Hotel guests also receive tickets to Nongfu Spring (mineral water company), and it's a 10-minute drive to their factory area, which you can drive into. Front desk staff, Ms. Wang Xiao, kindly upgraded my mother's room for free. The room was spacious and bright, with a bathtub for a relaxing soak. The environment was quiet, ensuring a great night's rest. Breakfast was plentiful, and they even gave us a souvenir upon check-out. I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends and family when they visit Hangzhou.

The hotel's location is excellent, close to West Lake, making it convenient to go anywhere. Being right by West Lake means you can avoid the crowds and visit early in the morning. Wulin Night Market is also nearby, great for budget-friendly dining. Intime Department Store is within walking distance, so high-end shopping is right at your fingertips. The location is truly convenient.
