Qiyue Song Heritage Hotel (Hangzhou West Lake Hubei Intime Store)

The hotel is right next to West Lake, and there's a shopping mall downstairs. The hotel service was excellent, and they even gave me a small gift when I checked out. I'm very satisfied and will definitely come back again. My only minor complaint is that the elevators were a bit slow.

The hotel's location is super convenient for visiting West Lake, right in the Intime shopping district. It's really easy to get to, just a short walk from Longxiang Station Exit D on Metro Line 1. The restaurant even has a direct view of Broken Bridge! The hygiene is top-notch, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Plus, they offer luggage storage after check-out, which is a huge plus. I'll definitely be back!

I highly recommend this hotel. It's very conveniently located near many scenic spots, and Hangzhou's environment is lovely. The hotel environment is really good. There's a security guard downstairs who helps with the elevator, and the front desk staff are all very friendly and welcoming. An auntie even helps with tidying up the tatami mats. They even gave my mother a flower on Mother's Day when we checked out, which was a lovely touch 😊

The reception is on the 7th floor, while regular guest rooms are on the 4th floor. **Breakfast:** First, let's talk about the good environment. The reception is right next to the restaurant. The breakfast area itself is quite small. You have to find the steamed buns and siomai where they make the wonton noodles. Fruits and bread are in a separate room within the restaurant, and the main dishes are in the hall area. It's a healthy selection, with four or five kinds of beverages. There were two types of fried items, boiled eggs, stir-fried instant noodles, corn, seasonal vegetables like cauliflower, millet porridge, etc. The options were decent. **Guest Room:** I prefer rooms with windows and a view. I chose a king-size bed, but the window was tiny and faced the wall of the building opposite. The hotel has a 'hui' character (回) design, with family rooms in the middle. The space felt a bit cramped. The soundproofing was okay, though. The bed on the left had a charging port, but the one on the right didn't. **Bathroom:** I wasn't too fond of the bathroom. Firstly, it was small. The shower and toilet were separated by a glass partition, which meant there was no place to put clothes while showering. I had to go out of the bathroom to the sink area or bedroom to get dressed. Also, the shampoo and conditioner came in some plastic sachets, which I didn't dare touch. When I sat down in the toilet, I noticed something fallen under the vanity. The decor didn't feel very new. The ceiling seemed to have pipes, and there were water stains, suggesting a previous leak or sprinkler issue. **Food Delivery:** Food delivery was quite convenient. Deliveries weren't allowed upstairs, so a small robot delivered them. **Transportation:** The location is quite convenient for getting around. The room came with two cards – one for electricity and one for the door. **Door Issue:** I had a problem with the room door in the morning. I almost couldn't get out and ended up triggering the alarm. I had locked the chain bolt at night and tried to disengage it in the morning, but it wouldn't work. Eventually, I had to pull it hard and manually manipulate it before I could get out. After checking out in the morning, the hotel staff asked for feedback. I forgot about it at the time, but now that I'm writing this review, I think it's important to mention that the room environment really needs more maintenance. Also, this room type definitely didn't have any 'good view' as advertised. Furthermore, one of the disposable slippers looked new and was wrapped in paper, but the other one felt like it had been used, so I didn't dare touch it. Luckily, I brought my own.

This hotel is incredibly convenient, being very close to both the shopping mall and West Lake. You can even enjoy views of West Lake, which is stunning, right from the hotel breakfast. The breakfast itself is delicious. Contrary to some online reviews, the soundproofing isn't bad at all. I highly recommend this hotel; it offers excellent value for money.
