Our recent stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing, especially considering it was the most expensive hotel we booked during our trip to China (30 days) and we chose it specifically to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing final few days.
Unfortunately, the reality was very different from what was advertised. The room was much smaller than expected, with barely enough space to open or store our suitcases. We had to leave our luggage in the limited walkway area, and the next day housekeeping did not make the bed or properly clean the room, seemingly because the suitcases were there. However, they had asked if we wanted cleaning service and we said yes. In the end, they only replaced toilet paper and did not make the bed or fully restock amenities.
Cleanliness was also a major issue. The room was not in good condition, the walls were dirty, and there was even a hair left in the shower area near the toiletries. This gave us very little confidence in the hotel’s hygiene standards.
Another serious problem was the air conditioning, which did not work on the first night. The room became unbearably hot, especially being on an upper floor where the heat accumulated. They eventually brought us a fan, and the air conditioning was only fixed the next day.
The breakfast was also disappointing. It was delivered to the room instead of served downstairs, despite there being a breakfast area available. The food quality was poor and not enjoyable. On the second morning, we requested breakfast again for 8:00 AM, but it never arrived.
To make matters worse, our room was located directly beside the laundry area. Even late at night, around 10:00 PM, washing machines were running loudly, making it difficult to rest.
Overall, this hotel did not deliver the quality, comfort, cleanliness, or service that it promised. For the price charged, the experience was unacceptable and far below expectations.
I don’t recommend this hotel
