I recently had a pleasant stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Chengdu, and I would like to commend your team for the excellent service provided throughout. Requests for additional drinking water and coffee were promptly fulfilled, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. I also appreciate the high-floor upgrade as a Bonvoy member. However, I would like to offer a suggestion regarding the after check-out service. Upon reaching the airport, we realized that we had left a handbag in our room. When we called the hotel, we were informed that the bag would be brought to the lobby for collection. While we appreciate the swift response, it would have been much more convenient if the hotel offered a paid service to have forgotten items delivered to the airport. Given The Ritz-Carlton’s commitment to exceptional guest experiences, I believe such a service would greatly benefit future guests who may find themselves in similar situations. I hope you will consider this as an enhancement to your already outstanding hospitality.

It was a fantastic stay, everything went simply excellent, especially butler services which was absolutely phenomenal. We came to celebrate my wife’s birthday, the room was lovely decorated with appealing props and flowers, made our stay unforgettable. The staff we encountered were all well kind and friendly, HSKP staff was a super-star, set up exactly what we wanted. Moreover, location of hotel is very convenient to sightseeing venues, lots of restaurants and retail shops. Highly recommend to anyone who travels to Chengdu, guarantee an amazing staying experiences on your way.

1) Subway station is 30 seconds right across the road. 2) Location is good because it is enveloped by a few famous narrow alleys selling handicraft, snacks, desserts, souvenirs, Chinese artwork etc, and have endless food stalls, coffee shops that surround the hotel, buzzing with activities all day till at least 11pm. 3) Hotel staff speak minimal English but they do understand it albeit not able to converse freely. Naturally using PTH is best. 4) Staff in the entire hotel are very friendly, courteous, pleasant and accommodating, trying to help in any way possible. 5) Bespectacled night manageress in a black suit was very welcoming and sweet. She offered to upgrade us when the room originally assigned for us was not as quiet as we had requested when we booked it. She led us to see the original one ( 2/F )and the other one ( the quieter one on 3/F ) and let us choose. 6) The upgraded room ( 3/F ) was a suite and it was really nice --- very quiet with courtyard view and tasteful lay out. 7) Cannot praise enough for the delightful suite -- spacious and elegant ; super clean ; smells nice , refreshing and just right not overwhelming ; white crispy bed linen ; daily turn down service; endless supply of fresh bottled water on daily basis ; spotless tumbler and fresh bottle of water by the bedside table every evening; everything you touch is spotless ; wooden flooring matching Chinese wooden furniture in simple design giving out this classy Chinese feel ; free to consume anything for the 1st time in the mini bar ; tea & coffee replenished daily ; kettle and coffee machine; free stationery like scissors, stapler, clips, pencil and pens etc; toiletries like vanity set, combs, toothbrush etc replenished daily ; spacious bathroom with double wash basins and clean white towels ; wash basins in rose gold but not tacky; shower drainage not smooth on 1st night but they fixed it and no prob thereafter ; water pressure from shower was good and plenty of marble top inside shower room for your own toiletries ; bathtub with fresh rose petals on 1st night and various types of bath salt ; big screen to watch telly while in tub ; separate toilet near living room; ample wardrobe space and power operated blinds and black out blinds. They provide steam iron on request but it would be better to have a proper flat iron if you want to press pants and other thicker harder material. Steam iron is only good for silk or plain cotton. Even linen is better with a flat iron. 8) This is a 100% Chinese ambience hotel from lobby to our suite but nothing is gaudy or ostentatious because everything is simple, no fuss, low-key, very clean, good architecture, functional and all colour combo is soothing to the eyes. 9) We ate at their restaurant the 1st night and food was ok -- dan dan noodles slightly overcooked so it was a bit mushy. Fried rice was a huge serving with fresh shrimps and nicely cooked. Tea could be hotter. Service was attentive, efficient and proper.

Very good hotel. City centre and Convenient for going anywhere. Direct access for convenient airport and attractions transport. Very good services, People working there are friendly and helpful especially when I checked in earlier when Mia and Freya helped me to ensure my room available earliest possible. Such a warm hospitality environment. Left my things inside the hotel, Freya helped to arrange delivery to my local friend immediately. Very professional. The room is spacious and comfortable and having a great city view. Get my bed ready when I finished shopping downstairs. Will recommend to friends and stay there anytime visiting Chengdu again.

Only 1 night. Need more time to enjoy everything Bed - extremely soft but comfortable Restaurant - stuff is super nice and pro Swimming pool - nice before 9am, after - be careful kids are coming 😅 Reception - sometimes not English friendly

Perfect experience at The Temple House again. After 8 years, we have finally returned back to the hotel, from the Bell service, to check in hotel staffs, to the house keeping, the breakfast service and customer service, there is literally NOTHING I would like to change. Perfection is the only word that suits this hotel~ located at the heart of the most happening place!!! Cassidy n Dennis were amazingly helpful to our stay, the smiles on their faces, the caring words from their mouth, the thoughtful reminders…nothing beats a great staff at the hotel that completes the wonderful journey!!! Definitely coming back again n again~

The room is very aesthetically pleasing, all the staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the hotel has very good details. The breakfast standard is unexpectedly high, the croissant is very fat and crispy; the beef brisket noodles are better than the Michelin recommended restaurant I ate the day before; the sea cucumber porridge tastes like Shanghai Meilingyuan. I regret not arranging dinner at the hotel the day before, the vegetables grown in their own fruit and vegetable garden must be very fresh and delicious. The housekeeper Xiao Zhu contacted in advance, responded quickly, and was always very considerate. The overall experience is that Guantang Anlu is somewhat similar to another IHG-owned luxury hotel in Sichuan, but the experience is even better.

Staying at Genting Ranch Shengmei Resort Hotel: Experience 1. Before check-in: Liang Xue, the general manager of the hotel, called me to communicate the check-in time and room preferences, the activities and hotel facilities during the stay, giving me a surprise, thoughtful, VIP exclusive service and noble experience. Thank you for your hotel's service. There are few in the industry [strong] 2. When checking in: Mr. Liang received us personally and arranged different room features for us between different rooms. She was very thoughtful. Just because I mentioned Xijing, she arranged the room full, full of surprises, and warm welcome cards. It made us feel that the price-performance ratio exceeded the room price and was full of emotional value. I didn't expect that there would be such a good service resort in Chengdu. 3. During the stay: Mr. Liang's arrangements were even more surprising. The breakfast was rich, and the lunch was delivered to the room. The taste of the dishes was better than expected, and the service was silent but thoughtful. During dinner, we were specially served with roasted whole lamb and roasted chicken. The hotel arranged a bonfire party, amazing fireworks, and karaoke on the outdoor platform. It was a super rich and unique arrangement. Feelings during the stay: 1. The hotel is well managed, the staff is in good spirits, and the hotel is large but the service is thoughtful. 2. The hotel has rich facilities, there are endless activities to enjoy, and the hotel is well arranged. 3. The dishes taste good 4. The service is super good, in Sichuan [strong] Recommended to stay [strong]

It was a pleasant surprise to book Songping Hotel near Chengrong Skiing this time. First of all, the room is very large, and the independent courtyard is private. There are two floors, front and back yards, a bright hall, a bright bathroom, and a bright bedroom. There is a private bath and lounge chairs in the backyard. There is a large terrace, a large dressing room, and a bathroom on the second floor. The first floor is 3.5 meters high, and the decoration is simple and elegant. There are two small patios between the front hall and the main hall, with lighting and ventilation. The hotel lobby faces a living water lake, with lush water plants on the lakeside and swans swimming in the lake. It is said that the lake water is drawn from a tributary of the Minjiang River, and the water quality is also good. The lake is open, and Zhaogong Mountain, the God of Wealth, is clearly visible in the distance. The girl at the front desk said that if you come in winter when the weather is good, you can see snow-capped mountains farther away. The lobby is more than 50 meters high, with two huge red lacquer paintings, asking about Qingcheng Mountain and looking at the water Dujiangyan. There are also Chengdu-style Fuwa and bird cages on the front porch, which are very good for checking in and taking photos. The three hotels around the lake are all owned by Sunac and operated by Huazhu. The service is pretty good. Particularly worth mentioning is their housekeepers. The girls are dressed in red and black, and they look like court ladies. The explanations are very thorough, the communication is very timely, and any feedback can be responded to in a timely manner. Finally, let me mention skiing. This is my first time to Chengdu Sunac. I feel that the ski trail design is better than that of Shanghai Lingang. The beginner, intermediate and advanced trails are all straight trails. The advanced trail has a slope of 21° and a decent width. The short ski trail is a natural defect of the indoor ski resort. There is no way around it. Fortunately, there is almost no queue for the cable car, so the efficiency is still acceptable. Of course, the only drawback is that the shoes provided by the ski resort are too dirty and smelly, but I can bear with it. Next time, I will put a copy of my discarded old shoes and equipment in Chengdu, so that I can come here every year when I return to my hometown. It is still okay to ski.
