Atour S Hotel IFS, Taikoo Li, Chengdu

Had a fantastic experience! The hotel's location is super convenient, and it's a standalone Atour property. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly! The room was also clean and tidy. I'll definitely be back!

This stay at Atour S Hotel IFS Chunxi Road was truly a healing experience, filled with kindness throughout our entire trip. We arrived quite early, and our booked room type wasn't ready yet. We were prepared to wait, but to our surprise, the front desk lady was incredibly thoughtful. After a quick chat, she kindly upgraded our room for free. The whole check-in process was efficient and pleasant, completely eliminating any travel fatigue. The hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable; it's just a few minutes' walk to Chunxi Road and the IFS commercial district, making it super convenient for exploring and dining. The public areas are clean and elegant, the Zhuju (bamboo house) is quiet and comfortable, and the bedding in the room is soft and gentle on the skin, with excellent soundproofing – perfect for finally relaxing after a long journey. The breakfast experience was also a pleasant surprise; it offered a wide variety of delicious options, both Chinese and Western, ensuring we were full and energized to start our day. Every staff member, from the front desk to the restaurant, was patient and friendly, providing detailed answers to any questions we had. Their service was thoughtful and heartwarming. This was a truly perfect and healing stay, and I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Chengdu. I'll definitely choose it again on my next trip!

The room had everything I needed, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious and plentiful. The hotel's location is super convenient, just a few minutes to the subway station, so everything is just a few minutes away. Chengdu life is so vibrant!

Heads up! Avoid this hotel!!! Location: 1. The hotel is right next to a construction site, so it's noisy during the day. Rooms facing the construction will be loud. There's also construction noise from the floor above the rooms during the day. The road to the main entrance is covered with steel plates and is difficult to navigate. 2. Although it's close to Chunxi Road and IFS, getting back to the hotel by taxi always involves heavy traffic. Many Didi drivers don't want to drive all the way to the hotel and ask us to get out early. Room Issues: 1. Initially, we were given a low-floor room facing the construction site. We asked for a different room. 2. The hotel reception originally said they would change us to another room, but it wasn't cleaned yet, so they asked us to wait in one room. 3. Later, they said the room they were going to give us was already booked, and then they wanted us to move to yet another room. However, the hotel said that room wouldn't be ready until 6 or 7 PM because it hadn't been cleaned. 4. We finally got our room late at night. The next morning, we left early and didn't notice, but when we returned, we found a large puddle of water on the floor in front of the sink and toilet, and we almost slipped. There was severe leakage above the sink and toilet. We contacted the hotel, and they said the leakage was due to construction on the floor above our room. Since we had a child and were worried about slipping, and we had booked for four days, we wanted to change rooms. However, the hotel's response at the time was that there were no rooms available. Our family's holiday mood with the child was completely ruined. We booked the room through Ctrip and reported the leakage issue to them. The hotel then immediately said they could move us to another room. Didn't they just tell us there were no rooms available? They could change it after a complaint? We just wanted to solve the leakage problem. Since it was very late and we had to get up early the next day, we didn't want to bother our child by moving rooms. Room Type: The hotel reception was unclear about the room type. I booked an Executive Twin Room and used Ctrip points to upgrade to the highest room category. The hotel reception, however, kept telling us they had given us the wrong room all along. I've always been a loyal fan of Atour, and a Gold member, but this Atour is truly disappointing!!

The room's location is excellent, right next to Chunxi Road, Taikoo Li, and IFS. It's super convenient to get anywhere, and there are plenty of great restaurants nearby. We even got a free upgrade to a larger room with a bathtub during our stay. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Chengdu.

The hygiene is excellent, and the service is great, which is typical of Atour hotels. It's very conveniently located in the city center of Chengdu. I highly recommend staying here.

The location is excellent, very bustling with all sorts of shopping and dining options nearby, making it super convenient. The room facilities were clean and tidy, living up to Atour's consistently good standards. We got a good night's rest before heading out to Huanglong and Jiuzhaigou the next day.
