"This hotel is my go-to whenever I'm in Chengdu, whether for leisure or business. The entire hotel has a very elegant design, and there's a subtle, pleasant scent in the air. The staff are all incredibly refined and polite. The room facilities are noticeably newer than those at the Shangri-La across the street, yet it comes at a much more appealing price point than the Shangri-La. Its location is right next to Chengdu's core Taikoo Li district, but it's set back enough from the hustle and bustle. Downstairs, transportation links are excellent, and you never have to worry about traffic jams.
Even better, behind the hotel are the winding, intricate alleys of Jiaochangba, which hide countless delicious small eateries and street food stalls. They're well worth exploring, whether for lunch or dinner. I'll definitely be staying here again."

At checkout, he arranged for a colleague to help with our luggage and allowed for a late checkout. All in all, this was a very satisfying trip. Next time I'm in Chengdu, I'll definitely choose the Shangri-La Hotel again."

GGuest UserThe entire team was friendly and professional, providing thoughtful and meticulous service. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, and cleanliness is good. The hot tub on the terrace attracts a few small beetles when the lights are on, which is to be expected given the lush mountain surroundings. Insects are drawn to light, but the hotel must have taken some measures, as I only spotted one or two. Overall, it wasn't a major issue. It's a shame our vacation was so short and time-constrained; this place is perfect for a longer, pure relaxation stay. The Panda Garden is within easy walking distance, and it's convenient to call a taxi to various scenic spots. The local cuisine nearby is also quite unique. The mountain air truly purifies the mind and body – highly recommended. This hotel offers excellent value for money.

GGuest UserThe hotel's overall environment design is excellent, with lush gardens and water features surrounding the rooms. A morning stroll is incredibly refreshing, and the ecosystem is thriving. Soaking in the hot springs while listening to birdsong is truly relaxing.
Regarding the facilities, the rooms are clean and hygienic, with good quality bedding and towels. There's a wide selection of pillows, and the hot springs are radon-rich, leaving your skin feeling smooth – I heard it's great for your skin. There's also a fairly large play pool in the hot springs area that kept the kids entertained for ages, so much so that we didn't have time for any other activities. The breakfast quality is also very good.
As for the service, a butler contacted me even before my arrival to ask about any special requests. The hotel's service is very flexible; they try their best to accommodate guests' needs and enhance their experience, as long as it doesn't disrupt hotel operations. Since fewer people were using the hot springs due to the hot weather, they upgraded my room and extended my check-out time, allowing me to enjoy a very comfortable soak.

Big thanks to Eva for arranging the Twin Towers view room, and for the early check-in and late check-out (even though I ended up checking out early anyway). All my little requests during the stay were handled promptly.
The room view was fantastic. I initially thought about booking the Waldorf Astoria, but a similar Twin Towers view room there would have been 1.7k. I got this Marriott room for half the price, which was amazing value!
Didn't get a chance to experience the lounge afternoon tea, and dinner was packed. The food selection was generally satisfactory. Overall, it was a very worthwhile experience for the price.
Just a few suggestions:
1. The room was too stuffy, and it took several requests for a fan to be brought up, which wasn't very efficient (I asked in the afternoon and only got it just before bedtime).
2. Breakfast was incredibly crowded. The executive lounge sign indicated there was a separate dining area, but there was no guidance, and I couldn't find it myself. There were just too many people, so I ended up just grabbing a quick bite.
3. The pool didn't have a fast spin-dryer, nor did it provide bags. There were also no towels readily available for drying off (only one in the locker), which was very inconvenient.
4. We had lunch at the hotel one morning, and the food was just so-so. Also, there was no concierge at the entrance to help with luggage, though there was help in the afternoon.

Michelle was incredibly attentive and professional throughout. She proactively reached out to understand my needs before check-in, and upon arrival, she swiftly handled the process and provided a detailed introduction to the hotel's facilities and local attractions. During my stay, she was always there to help, whether it was a small request like luggage storage or room amenities, or a bigger one like travel recommendations. Everything was handled efficiently and thoughtfully, and her warm smile made me feel incredibly welcome. Manager Andy is also a testament to excellent management and service. He proactively checked in on my experience and was quick to respond and resolve any issues, demonstrating true professionalism and responsibility. The team he leads is enthusiastic and responsive, from the concierge to housekeeping, truly embodying JW Marriott's high service standards. The hotel's location in the heart of Chunxi Road is super convenient for getting around; the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed; and the breakfast is delicious and plentiful. I sincerely recommend this hotel to everyone!

GGuest UserI stayed at Six Senses for two nights this time. The hotel called in advance to confirm my check-in time and any special requests. My butler, Yannie, then added me on WeChat and was incredibly helpful throughout my stay. She clearly explained all the hotel's facilities and activities, even sending a short video demonstrating how to use the uniquely designed shower faucet. It was pomelo blossom season, so the entire hotel was filled with a subtle, lovely fragrance that accompanied me on my walks. On the morning of my departure, Yannie arranged a Tai Chi experience for me. As I followed the instructor, practicing breathing exercises with Mount Qingcheng in the background, I felt a fleeting connection between humanity and nature. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Six Senses.

Breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of options, including some local Chengdu specialties. The hotel is about a 40-minute drive from Shuangliu Airport, and taxis make it easy to get around. Service: The hotel staff is enthusiastic and energetic. Before check-in, a butler added me on WeChat and proactively upgraded my room and offered complimentary breakfast. Since I booked for May Day (Labor Day), I also received vouchers for panda coffee and cocktails, which was a fantastic experience.
Cleanliness: Room cleaning and replenishment of amenities were very timely. The pillows were so comfortable that I bought two and had them shipped home.
Overall, the stay was excellent. The hotel, from its decor and design to its staff, feels very modern and young, and the service and facilities are top-notch. 😊

OousakiThe hotel's location is excellent; Tianfu Square is just around the corner, and it's very convenient for taking the subway. Chunxi Road is within walking distance, and there are all sorts of popular eateries along the way. The hotel service was also great; they upgraded our room to the top floor upon check-in. The room was spacious and had a fantastic view. We also won a small bear towel in a lucky draw, which made our child very happy.
Sister Wang, who works at the 9th-floor restaurant, was incredibly warm, welcoming, and efficient. Besides greeting guests at the entrance, she quickly moved around the entire restaurant helping to clear tables. She even took the time to recommend several local hotpot restaurants that locals frequent.
Room service was also very thoughtful. I called to request two extra bottles of drinking water, and for the following days, they proactively provided us with four extra bottles daily without us even asking again.
