We stumbled upon the hidden gem, Hegushanju, which offers an all-inclusive experience for dining, accommodation, and activities, meaning absolutely no planning was needed.✨ The B&B is nestled in a tranquil mountain forest and bamboo sea, fully immersing you in a Zen atmosphere! Besides the private hot tub on each room's super private balcony ♨️, there's also a stunning outdoor mountain pool. The water is crystal clear, surrounded by lush greenery, making it perfect for photoshoots. Playing in the water and strolling with my bestie was incredibly enjoyable! The evening healing experience was a huge plus! Every night at 8 PM, there's a singing bowl and candlelit meditation, offering an immersive way to de-stress and calm the mind. It truly healed all my work-related anxieties; the experience was fantastic. The second day's itinerary was relaxed yet fulfilling! From 8:30 to 10:00 AM, there's an incredibly rich buffet breakfast with everything from *chaoshou* (wontons), noodles, to whole grain porridges. We ate until we were full and energized. During the day, you can join a group hike in the mountain forest to embrace nature, or quietly copy scriptures and paint mandalas at the Suwen Academy, slowly savoring the holiday time. The hotel's design texture and quality maintain the consistent standard of the Waldorf Astoria. What satisfied me the most was the design and selection of the in-room facilities, which are distinct yet textured. There is no affected cleverness or pandering just for the sake of being unique. A balance of poise and practicality, it remains trustworthy.

I frequently vacation at this hotel, and the overall experience is truly comfortable – it's the kind of place you want to return to again and again. The hotel ambiance is fantastic, with lush greenery throughout the grounds. Nestled by a mountain and a lake, walking around feels incredibly peaceful, a perfect escape from city noise, giving you that ultimate vacation vibe. Especially with the cooler weather these past couple of days, the gentle breeze was wonderfully refreshing. The room was meticulously clean, the bedding was super comfortable, and the bathroom amenities were of good quality. The room also had excellent natural light. A highlight here is the natural radon hot springs. There's a wide variety of pools, and the setting is serene. After a soak, you feel completely relaxed, and both the public pools and the private villa hot springs offer a great experience. The service is, of course, top-notch. Mia was very thoughtful, and the other staff members were mild-mannered and responded quite promptly. The breakfast selection is rich, featuring local specialty snacks, and the taste is excellent. The hotel facilities are also comprehensive, perfect for strolls or just relaxing. All in all, it's suitable for both couples looking to unwind and families traveling together. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit far from the city center, but for a vacation, it's perfectly acceptable. The overall hardware, environment, and service are all excellent, offering good value for money. I'll definitely be recommending it to more friends.

Highly recommend the Twin Towers view room! Staying at this hotel during our trip to Chengdu was an absolute perfection. Located in a prime spot in the Financial City, the room features floor-to-ceiling windows with a direct, unobstructed view of the Twin Towers. The room is spacious with a wide field of view, and the bedding is extremely soft and comfortable. The overall stay was wonderfully relaxing, and despite the holidays, the hotel wasn't overly noisy. They even packed a breakfast to-go for our early morning flight 👍

The room itself was beautifully decorated, but the biggest surprise was the excellent hotel service, especially from Lotus, our concierge. Not only did she help me receive a delivery, but she also looked after the fresh produce it contained and even helped me carry things up and down. She deserves a special shout-out, as she really kicked off my trip to Chengdu and the snowy mountains on a high note!

My overall stay was very pleasant. The hotel is in a prime location, very close to Wenshu Monastery, making it convenient for sightseeing and shopping with malls and a subway nearby. The room was clean, tidy, and cozy, and the bedding was soft, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom facilities were in good condition, and the hot water supply was stable. The hotel staff were warm and polite, and the housekeeping team responded promptly to requests. The common areas were comfortable and well-maintained. The value for money was excellent, and I had a comfortable stay. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I visit the area next time and will recommend it to my friends who travel. Every summer, I come to Mount Qingcheng, and I've pretty much stayed at all the famous hotels and guesthouses here, with Six Senses being the only one left. So I decided to stay for a night. The reason I waited so long to try Six Senses is because of the mixed reviews online – some praise it to the heavens, others tear it down, making me hesitant to spend money unnecessarily. However, since I've practically stayed everywhere else, I finally gave in to the urge to check out Six Senses! Let me start with the conclusion: the experience was truly disappointing, even a huge letdown! Why? First, its location right next to the Qingcheng Mountain High-Speed Rail Station means there's no sense of secluded retreat at all, which completely undermines the Six Senses brand's reputation for seclusion. Upon entering, it felt hot and stuffy everywhere, not cool at all. This is because the vegetation around the hotel is too sparse, and the trees aren't lush, causing the ground to be scorched. It felt like I had entered a farmhouse guesthouse in Qingcheng Mountain town, completely lacking the ethereal charm of Mount Qingcheng. Moreover, the hotel doesn't have large water features, further diminishing any sense of vibrancy! To put it bluntly, it's not even as good as the adjacent Howard Johnson Qingcheng, which has an earthy charm that makes you feel refreshed and peaceful as soon as you enter. Furthermore, the overall design of the hotel is terribly poor; it's a maze with no clear hierarchy or aesthetic appeal. The room design is even worse, truly embodying the 'upscale farmhouse' aesthetic – neither ancient nor modern, neither rustic nor sophisticated. The interior space of the room is partitioned into small compartments, the lighting is dim, and the balcony is incredibly tiny and mosquito-ridden, making it impossible to relax and enjoy a vacation! The flow within the room is chaotic; the minibar and fridge are placed next to the bed, and when you want to turn off the lights for sleep, you can't find the switch, having to get up and go to the sofa to turn it off. The fan is impossible to turn off easily, and there are hardly any power outlets for phones and laptops! I don't know which designer came up with this anti-human design; it's as if they deliberately made guests uncomfortable! What's even more ridiculous is that the king room and garden room are designed with one above the other, making it easy to see people downstairs from upstairs! Is this to make it convenient for neighbors to visit? It's so 'down-to-earth' that it feels like living in a residential complex! Where's the vacation feeling in that? In short, the stay was very unpleasant. The room wasn't spacious enough, nor was it cozy! You couldn't comfortably lie down or sit up! The room design of Six Senses lacks the grandeur of Qingcheng Songpin, the style of Zuowang Senlin, the ethereal quality of Qingxia Shanju, and the层次感 (sense of layering) of Qingcheng Mountain Resort! However, Six Senses does have its merits, primarily its excellent service. Before check-in, they call to confirm, and after check-in, a butler contacts you, sending various reminders throughout your stay and assisting with booking complimentary services within the hotel. If anything is needed in the room, just ask, and it's delivered immediately. This aspect was quite satisfactory; the service can be said to be the best among all hotels in Qingcheng Mountain, and this alone lives up to the Six Senses brand. Also, the breakfast variety is quite rich and of good quality; the yogurt is homemade by the hotel, and the cherry tomatoes are homegrown. The only inconvenience is having to run up and down between floors in the restaurant to get food! To summarize, Six Senses is worth at most 1,000 yuan per night. Such a high room rate is simply overpriced and a rip-off. Staying there a second time would be a complete waste of money!

The W Hotel Chengdu truly stands out among the many luxury hotels in the city. It's young, stylish, trendy, and full of vibrant energy – luxurious without being 'old money,' high-end yet incredibly chic. Every restaurant has its own unique background music, and every staff member radiates a youthful glow. The breakfast selection is quite rich, featuring handmade Dan Dan noodles and 'chaoshou' (Sichuan wontons), as well as pan-fried buns, all of which are delicious. They offer three different Haagen-Dazs ice cream flavors daily, and the rum raisin and macadamia nut flavors are particularly good. The bread offered at breakfast is also exceptionally tasty, with classics like almond croissants, floss bread, and muffin cupcakes. I want to extend a special thank you to the hotel's management and operations team for their professional, warm, and thoughtful service during my family's stay. This includes Front Office Manager Eaton, Style Director Polly, Assistant Front Office Manager Amber, Duty Manager Covey, Peter, and many other staff members whose names I didn't get to remember. My sincere thanks and best wishes go out to all of them! The W Chengdu is definitely worth another visit!

Staying here was so convenient for catching an early morning train at Chengdu East Railway Station—it's just across the street. The view from the window was also lovely, and the overall decor has a nice European style. The room was spacious as well. I would definitely stay here again next time I use Chengdu East Station.
