GuihuawulianpianFacilities: Smart features, projector, smart toilet
Cleanliness: Superb
Environment: Extremely elegant, with a private hot spring, and even aromatherapy service in the rooms.
Service: Attentive, meticulous, and thoughtful.
Welcome fruits: Good quality fruits, and all snacks are from Sam's Club.
If you're visiting Qingcheng Mountain, I highly recommend Hegu Shanju at the foot of the mountain. Every detail here is wonderfully thoughtful and comforting. While its elegant environment is its least remarkable advantage, the service and various wellness programs are its true highlights!
The fatigue from a day of hiking was completely cured by the sound therapy session before bed and the private hot spring in the room. The next day, I wanted to try the incense ceremony class, but the teacher wasn't available. I was a bit disappointed, but a staff member specially found the butler to arrange an incense ceremony experience for us. This unexpected warmth left a lasting impression! The little one made a fruit shell wind chime at the handicraft workshop, my mom practiced Baduanjin with the instructor, and the three of us even painted mandalas to pass the time. Everyone, young and old, had their own fun.
It's rare to find a guesthouse that excels in environment, dining, and unique experiences, with the owner's thoughtfulness evident in every corner. I hope this wonderful place remains for a long time; I will definitely return to this mountain retreat on my next trip to Chengdu.

Guest UserThe hotel's scenery is exceptionally beautiful, with a Chinese-inspired design and blessings extended to every guest. The courtyard is adorned with crape myrtle, pomegranates, and magnolia flowers, creating a sense of abundant beauty and prosperity. Flower-lined paths lead to picturesque spots, making every step a delight, and allowing one to forget all worries and simply immerse in the moment. The public hot springs are spacious, available both indoors and outdoors. The rooms are private villas, some with their own hot spring baths, and the温泉 water is natural radon spring water. The front desk managers, Helen and Li Yilin, were very attentive. I would definitely choose Fairmont Chengdu Hot Springs again if I have the chance; it must be even more beautiful in the autumn. This was a wonderful trip.

Guest User
We stayed in the Panda Family Room, which had a fantastic themed atmosphere. The room decor was cute and whimsical, and the space was generous, perfect for a family. Our child absolutely loved the panda-themed decorations and the toys provided in the suite. The butler service was attentive and thoughtful, responding promptly to all our requests. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, highly recommended for families traveling with children.
Additionally, the hotel's housekeeping staff was incredibly meticulous. Every day, they replenished the fruit platter and toiletries. After seeing us use disposable bath liners, they thoughtfully left us extra disposable bath liners and toilet seat covers after cleaning, along with a sweet note. Their service was truly considerate, and we're very grateful.

Guest UserStaying at this Marriott in Chengdu with my parents was a fantastic experience. The service was incredibly thoughtful – they helped us with our luggage, gave us weather updates, and even provided extra toiletries, earplugs, and welcome fruit. The room itself was spacious. The hotel breakfast was also very rich, offering a great selection of both Chinese and Western dishes, and everything tasted delicious. For its price range, this hotel is definitely top-notch, offering excellent value for money.

AviourThe room itself was beautifully decorated, but the biggest surprise was the excellent hotel service, especially from Lotus, our concierge. Not only did she help me receive a delivery, but she also looked after the fresh produce it contained and even helped me carry things up and down. She deserves a special shout-out, as she really kicked off my trip to Chengdu and the snowy mountains on a high note!

MeibabyThe hotel's location is fantastic. It's incredibly convenient for getting around, with taxis readily available right outside. The subway station is just a 6-minute walk away, and there's a large shopping mall and a food street nearby, which is really handy. You'll also find plenty of great hot pot restaurants in the area, and it's very close to Wenshu Monastery. The hotel room itself is quite good, and the price is reasonable. It's spacious, and the staff are incredibly patient and always willing to help with any issues you might have.

Kelsey ChowWhile the room design is undeniably nice and the location is convenient for exploring local food and attractions, the customer service was a major letdown. The receptionists lacked professionalism—they didn't make eye contact while talking to us, to a point where we need to ask if one was available to attend us, as well as handled basic tasks poorly. Dropping off luggage for our pre-arranged airport transport took over 15 minutes because of their disorganization. Check-in was completely uninformative; despite offering several perks like discounted massages, guest laundry, and luggage transport on the room description, no one bothered to explain them to us upon our arrival. Additionally, the guest laundry room was poorly maintained, dimly lit, and gave off a creepy, dilapidated feel.

MeituanqishoulixiaomiOur stay here was absolutely delightful, and this hotel truly enhanced our entire trip. The JW Marriott Hotel Chengdu boasts an excellent location, making it incredibly convenient for exploring and shopping. Despite its central location, the environment is peaceful, and the soundproofing is superb, ensuring a high-quality rest. The room itself was spacious and bright, meticulously maintained, and impeccably clean, with all amenities readily available. I must especially commend Celine and Ella; their professionalism was exceptional, and they were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Whether it was questions about check-in, coordinating room-related requests, or inquiries about our itinerary, communication with them was always smooth and pleasant. They were attentive and reliable in their work, and we truly felt valued as guests. When issues arose, they didn't just brush them off but actively followed up and resolved them, demonstrating a truly warm and attentive service. The hotel breakfast offered a rich variety and was delicious. Both the hardware and software of the hotel are top-notch. It's thanks to outstanding staff like Celine and Ella that guests can enjoy such a fantastic stay. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and will definitely return on my next visit.

XiaoxiannvdemamamaMy stay at the Ritz-Carlton was a delightful surprise. When housekeeping tidied the room, they thoughtfully placed my teddy bear next to the pillow. This small, playful gesture really showed how much care they put into their service. The staff who delivered items and set up the extra bed were always very polite. I particularly appreciated how they covered the wheels of the extra bed with a towel – a small detail that not only hid the unsightly wheels but also made me feel the bed was cleaner. Staff members also bid farewell politely when leaving the room, and the room itself was always spotless and tidy. Furthermore, the concierge service was excellent, like Harvey today. All these little things, though seemingly minor, highlight the well-trained staff and create a warm, comfortable experience through their attention to detail.
It truly reinforces the idea that ”a five-star hotel isn't just about top-notch facilities – even if they're not the newest as time goes by, proper maintenance makes them comfortable. More importantly, it's about the service, a detailed experience you feel at every moment of your stay.” I will definitely choose the Ritz-Carlton again on my next visit to Chengdu.
Just a small suggestion: the air freshener scent on the ground floor lobby and the 25th floor was a bit too strong. It was quite pungent immediately after stepping out of the elevator.

QingshuixianshengThe W Hotel Chengdu truly stands out among the many luxury hotels in the city. It's young, stylish, trendy, and full of vibrant energy – luxurious without being 'old money,' high-end yet incredibly chic. Every restaurant has its own unique background music, and every staff member radiates a youthful glow.
The breakfast selection is quite rich, featuring handmade Dan Dan noodles and 'chaoshou' (Sichuan wontons), as well as pan-fried buns, all of which are delicious. They offer three different Haagen-Dazs ice cream flavors daily, and the rum raisin and macadamia nut flavors are particularly good. The bread offered at breakfast is also exceptionally tasty, with classics like almond croissants, floss bread, and muffin cupcakes.
I want to extend a special thank you to the hotel's management and operations team for their professional, warm, and thoughtful service during my family's stay. This includes Front Office Manager Eaton, Style Director Polly, Assistant Front Office Manager Amber, Duty Manager Covey, Peter, and many other staff members whose names I didn't get to remember. My sincere thanks and best wishes go out to all of them! The W Chengdu is definitely worth another visit!
