AAnonymous UserTotally regretting for booking only 1 night in this fabulous accommodation. Quiet neighborhood except the guests next to my room decided to talk about their life stories in the outdoor balcony until wee hours which is really inconsiderate. The receptionists and staffs are really friendly and helpful during my stay making this extremely memorable. One time disposable towels and slippers are my favorite amenities in this accommodation!

GGuest UserI booked this hotel on Trip.com late at night, just hoping for a place to crash. To my surprise, the front desk attendant was incredibly patient when I arrived. Seeing me with a big suitcase and looking exhausted, she proactively upgraded me to a quiet room on a higher floor and even thoughtfully prepared hot tea. The room was spotless, and the bedding was soft and comfortable for a good night's sleep. The breakfast the next morning had a great variety and tasted delicious. What touched me most was at check-out; I was rushing for my train, and the front desk had already prepared my invoice and packed a souvenir for me, handling everything calmly and efficiently. This unexpectedly great experience completely wiped away my fatigue from the business trip. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Chengdu!

JJoseatstheworldWhat made this Hyatt truly stand out was the warm and friendly staff, especially at the concierge and front desk. Interacting with them felt more like reuniting with old friends. If you're lucky enough to be assisted by their Experience Curator, Jasmine, your stay will be twice as wonderful. She's incredibly thoughtful and attentive, accurately anticipating my mood and needs, which made me feel very comfortable and special. The hotel's location is fantastic, right at the intersection of Metro Lines 2 and 8. There's a shopping mall downstairs and plenty of restaurants nearby. Taikoo Li is just a 10-minute walk away – super convenient! The in-room amenities and bedding are excellent and very tasteful. Besides a restaurant, there's also a rooftop bar. And if you don't feel like dining at the hotel, the mall downstairs has so many restaurants you could eat there for a week and not repeat a meal. I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Chengdu! 💪🏻

GGuest UserThe hotel is not far from Kuanzhai Alley and is within walking distance, though it might be a bit of a trek if you have very young children. It's conveniently located to all the major attractions. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options. The room was clean, and the service was good. There's also parking available. The only downside was that there was construction happening next door during our stay, but we were informed beforehand that it was a municipal project.

GGuest UserThe hotel's overall environment design is excellent, with lush gardens and water features surrounding the rooms. A morning stroll is incredibly refreshing, and the ecosystem is thriving. Soaking in the hot springs while listening to birdsong is truly relaxing. Regarding the facilities, the rooms are clean and hygienic, with good quality bedding and towels. There's a wide selection of pillows, and the hot springs are radon-rich, leaving your skin feeling smooth – I heard it's great for your skin. There's also a fairly large play pool in the hot springs area that kept the kids entertained for ages, so much so that we didn't have time for any other activities. The breakfast quality is also very good. As for the service, a butler contacted me even before my arrival to ask about any special requests. The hotel's service is very flexible; they try their best to accommodate guests' needs and enhance their experience, as long as it doesn't disrupt hotel operations. Since fewer people were using the hot springs due to the hot weather, they upgraded my room and extended my check-out time, allowing me to enjoy a very comfortable soak.

JJourney90A family of 3, we brought our one-year-old baby on a trip to Chengdu. Initially, we chose to stay for 5 nights, but we extended our stay by another 3 nights! The hotel service was good, and the room was quite clean. In the room, they provided a baby cot and a high chair upon request. However, the high chair did not have a strap. The breakfast area also has baby high chairs. They come with straps, so they are baby-safe, and the chair has a table for babies to eat from. I enjoyed the breakfast a lot, mainly because there was a wide variety of baby-friendly food. On the same floor, they also have a baby-friendly kids’ playroom. We used it often during and after breakfast so that the parents could take turns eating. Haha. The staff were also helpful with general enquiries, Taobao deliveries and parcel returns. The location is strategic too. It is next to a mall full of food options, and there are also malls opposite the hotel for shopping. It only takes about 15 minutes to walk to Tianfu Square. Great for walk during springtime! We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

GGuest UserFive-star review! I’m truly impressed with my stay at Xishu Hotel. From the moment I checked in, the front desk staff were warm, attentive, and efficient. Their professionalism made the whole process smooth and pleasant. The room was spotless, well-designed, and comfortably arranged. All the facilities were modern and well maintained, and the attention to detail was excellent. The bed was especially comfortable, and I slept very well. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is relaxing, and the public areas are kept in great condition as well. Whether it’s cleanliness, service, location, or overall convenience, everything exceeded my expectations. I genuinely couldn’t find any flaws during my stay. I will definitely choose Xishu Hotel again next time I’m in the area and will gladly recommend it to friends!

GGuest UserThe service was exceptional. The girls at the front desk were very helpful with answering our questions and helping us make sure we had a great visit with the Pandas. They also explained exactly where to go for our train departure. We were confused by Chengdudong having 4 plus drop off points. They also gave us extra water and adorable Panda headbands on our departure. The room was clean and very comfortable. Everything was provided so we had a comfortable stay. They even had memory foam pillows. They had lots of freshly ground coffee in the morning as well as an excellent buffet Breakfast. The location was excellent. We walked to the Wenshu Monastery and to Kuanzhai Xiangzi alleys. We are pleased we choose to stay at this hotel in Chengdu.

Also, the room cleaning wasn't very thorough; there was visible dust in many places. The staff service was decent though; check-in and check-out were both quick and efficient.

GGuest UserAfter our initial stay and having to extend due to a medical emergency we decided to extend at this hotel without any consideration due to our very pleasant fist experience. Initially the staff provided excellent assitance with our visa renewal. Then after my wife was discharged from the hospital we needed to buy a wheelchair. This proved quite challenging as we don't speak Chinese. Also our version of Ali Pay did not work on the online purchasing platform and we could also not manage to get WeChat pay to work. The hotel placed the order and paid for the wheelchair and allowed us to reimburse them in cash later. When the wheelchair was delivered one of the wheels were broken. The hotel did not hesitate to liaise with the online platform for the return and replacement. But I said that we are leaving in two days so the replacement wheelchair would not arrive on time. No problemm They placed an emergency order for a replacement wheel chair to be deliver with 30 minutes. Seriously! It was delivered 20 minutes later. Amazing! Only on China. They also paid for the replacement and we reimbursed them. By the time we left, They even reimbursed us for the broken wheelchair and said they will get the refund from the online vendor since they had ordered and paud for the wheelchair. On between all this they noticed that one day I had come down for a late breakfast and there was not much food left when I arrived - literally a few minutes before closure of the dining room. Then they gave me a gift along with an apology note for the lack of available options at breakfast when I arrived late. Man! The staff at this hotel are absolutely amazing. All of them. When we left they said they hope we will return to Chengdu. We'll I hope so too and when I do, I will definitely stay at the Huawei Hotel Taisheng South Subway Station. Without a doubt my best hotel ever. To put that in perspective, I have travel to 45 countries, some of them multiple times staying from 1 to 30 nights at different hotels. So I must have stayed at close to 100 hotels, including many 5 star hotels, for a total of over 500 nights. And The Huawei Hotel Taisheng South Subway Station was my best experience. Hope to see you again.
